Daisy's POV
HOMECOMING! I hop in the driver's seat of the Jeep that I'm going to drive the homecoming king and queen(Sebastian and Ida) in. I strongly dislike Sebastian and I tell Delilah all the time. We agree but she says we should stay quiet for Ida. I said I'd try but no promises.
"Let's go kids" I yell at the awkward couple.
"Don't you mean king?" Sebastian laughs. Um no. I'm definitely, absolutely, unquestionably not taking that.
I hear Ida murmur "oh no" under her breath. I climb out of the car and walk up to him. I take his ugly handkerchief out, drop it on the ground, and step on it as I walk behind him to Ida.
"You dropped something," I say in the process.
"Daisy, please. Just one night, one night without killing him." Ida says.
"I'm doing that. That's why I went for his pocket thingy instead of an elbow in the stummy." I respond. Sebastian walks up beside her. "I don't even like him. You need better taste." She steps on my foot. I give her a "what" look as I walk away.
We're driving and I have my gargantuan bag of candy beside me. I throw it and throw it like crazy. The cross country team is ahead of us and the chess club ahead of them. Out of the corner of my eye, a man dressed in all black grasping on to James' shirt. He looked very scary, so I decide to climb out of the car. I bring a handful of candy just in case. They seem to be in deep conversation. I stand back for a little. All of a sudden his grip gets harder.
"HAPPY HOMECOMING!" I throw candy in his face and grab James' wrist. I drag him a back to his float then get back in the car and continue driving.
"That was really nice, Daisy," Sebastian says clearly trying to get me to like him.
"Thanks, I wouldn't have done it for you Donkgoo."
