The wind was hard not to hear. It was furious and loud. it made the trees nearby bend while it made the windows shake. It was that kind of wind that made everyone stay home. Not even the bravest would go outside in that condition. They would all stay inside the castle walls that protected them from the wind.

Evelyn blinked her eyes open. She glanced at the window that rattled because of the wind. She frowned at it for a few seconds. The window was too big to be her window in her dorm. It wasn't close enough either. She realized that she wasn't in her bed and that Sabrina wasn't sleeping at her feet. She looked around. She had no idea where she was. The bed didn't spark any sense of familiarity, neither did the other furniture.

When Evelyn lifted her head, she was met with an excoriating headache. She hissed and started to rub her forehead. She had never had such a headache before. She opened her eyes and noticed that her vision was blurry as well. Actually, Evelyn felt kind of drowsy which was strange for her.

Her eyes averted down. She saw that she was naked, fully naked. A gasp escaped her and she covered her mouth,

Suddenly, everything flashed through her.

Evelyn remembered being here with Rabastan. She remembered eating and drinking wine. They had drunk a whole bottle of wine. After they had finished the bottle, Evelyn's memory was a mess. She couldn't remember what was real or not. However, she knew that the flashes of her and Rabastan taking each other's clothes were real. The searing pain that she felt when he entered her was real too.

Realization hit her. She had sex. She had sex for the first time. She had sex with Rabastan for the first time and she could barely remember it. Everything was in pieces and she doubted that she could figure out the puzzle of the former night.

Tears welled up in her eyes and her body started to shake. She turned her head to where Rabastan was supposed to be and saw that it was empty. She teared up even more at that before she noticed that he had left a note on his pillow.

She leaned over to pick it up before reading it.

'I'm sorry I had to leave before you woke up. I saw that it was sunrise and knew I had to get back before the boys got suspicious. I tried to wake you, but you kept falling asleep. Meet me after dinner tomorrow in our usual place. Rabastan.'

Evelyn crunched the letter and threw it away. This was a mess. She was in a messy situation. Maybe even the messiest situation she had ever been in. What was worse was that she was alone. She had to deal with this alone.

She ran a hand through her hair. As she did, she realized that her hair was all tangled. She let out a sigh of frustration before deciding to get up.

As she got up, she let out a hiss. Her legs, specifically her thighs, were sore. They ached with every movement she made and she had to clench her teeth. She closed her eyes with the drowsiness, headache and soreness she had no idea how she would make it out of this room.

Picking up her clothes and putting them on took more time than she would ever want to. She had to stop so many times just to breathe through the ache she was feeling. After getting dressed, she looked for a hair tie in her robes. She sighed in relief when she found one. She tied her hair in a low ponytail quickly before she exited the Room of Requirement.

The corridor was empty. The seventh floor wasn't the most frequented, but there were people around it at times. The emptiness made her uneasy and immediately question herself.

Why was the corridor empty? Was it early in the morning? Or had the day already started and everyone was in their classes?

Her eyes widened when the third question came to mind. She immediately figured out that it probably was that. With that conclusion, her hands started to shake. She was sure that they already were, but not this much. She shook her head before she started to run towards her common room, ignoring the pain.

When she arrived in her dorm, she wasn't surprised to see that it was empty. Not even Sabrina was around. That only meant that breakfast was already over and classes had started.

Evelyn looked at the clock on the wall. Her limb turned numb and her lips started to tremble. Not only had the classes started, but she had already missed two classes for the day. The third class had just begun and by the time, Evelyn was ready for it, it would end.

Tears started to roll down her cheeks. She didn't need this. The last thing she needed was for her attendance record to suffer. She had to be perfect. She had to be the perfect student every professor wanted.

Her body turned cold, her head started to hurt more and her whole body began to shake. Her chest started to tighten and she gripped her shirt tight in hopes of stopping it.

It didn't stop it of course. The tightening of her chest grew worse. Worst of all was the nausea that started to build up.

Evelyn bolted to the bathroom and knelt beside the toilet. She opened it up and as soon as she did, she started to throw up. It took too long and it made Evelyn's whole body shiver in disgust.

When she was done, she flushed the toilet and pressed her head against the cold tiles. She wrapped her arms around herself, brought her knees close to her chest and started to sob as quiet as she could.

Somehow, Evelyn managed to get ready for the fourth period. She was barely hanging on as her head still hurt while her whole body trembled, but she decided to get through it. She couldn't miss another class. She didn't want to fall behind in classes. A small misstep would cause her to lose all the effort she had pulled through the past four years.

When she entered the History of Magic class, she noticed some people glance at her. She knew that she looked horrible. Despite her best efforts, she couldn't hide her paleness and dark eye bags. The only thing she could do was change her clothes, wash her face, brush her teeth and fix her hair.

As she looked where to sit, she found an empty seat next to Remus. At first, she thought that Sirius would sit there, but she was surprised to find him alone in the far corner. The only Marauders who were sitting together were James and Peter. The two boys were whispering to each other.

"Can I sit here?"

Remus looked up from his book. He was the only person who looked as bad as she did. He was as pale and tired as she was. Of course, his reasoning was the full moon that had passed a few days ago while hers was a hangover.

"Yes," Remus answered her.

She put her bag on the table before she sat down. As she pulled the book outside her bag, Remus leaned forward to whisper to her.

"Is there any reason you're not sitting with any of your friends or Marlene?"

Evelyn pressed her lips together. "Am I bothering you?" She questioned him and he shook his head. "Then why do you ask?"

"Just curious as to why you're sitting with me." He answered her as he leaned against the chair. "In my mind, you had better options."

"Don't you have options too?" She tilted her head as she put her ink and quill on the table. "Specifically, an option sitting in the far corner." She eyed Sirius.

As she did, she noticed that he was looking down on the floor. It seemed like Remus and she didn't seem the only ones who were sick or sleep-deprived. Sirius seemed to. Although, unlike them, Sirius still looked handsome rather than a mess.

"I'm not talking to him," Remus responded. She stopped looking at Sirius and glanced at him. "Actually, we're not friends anymore."

Evelyn was about to ask him why. She stopped herself when she realized that Remus would probably ask her about her friends. She knew that there was no good answer to the question. If she told Remus the truth, he'd judge her and realize that she wasn't perfect. If she told him a lie, she knew that there was a chance he'd find out the truth.

"I'm sorry for that." She whispered.

She did feel sorry about them. Just like her friend group, the Marauders seemed like a tightly-knit friend group. Whatever happened to Sirius and Remus had ended that friendship. Just like her friends' lies and pressure towards her, had ended her friendship with them.

"You don't have to be." He huffed. "Ending our friendship was the best thing I have ever done."

Evelyn blinked a few times. She had never seen Remus this harsh. Out of all the Marauders, he was the calmest and kindest. His harshness was so strange that for a minute, she wondered if it was him.

"You don't want ever to be friends with him?" She questioned him.

Remus shook his head. "No. I don't even get why I should be friends with him."

"So, all those years that you have been friends with him, mean nothing to you? You're throwing them all in a drain because of what happened? Do you think that's smart?"

"If you knew what he did, you'd think this was the best choice as well." He responded and she gulped down. "Besides, I'm not the only one not talking to him. Pro- James and Peter aren't talking to him either."

Evelyn frowned. "Was what he did that bad?" She knew that Sirius wasn't the most sensible person and seemed to have a streak of uncontrolled wildness about him. However, she would have never thought that he'd do something so bad that made his friends stop talking to him, especially James. James and Sirius were the closest in the group and they acted more like brothers than friends.

"Yes," Remus whispered. "What he did to me was horrible enough for them to stop talking to him as well."

"But he didn't hurt them, right?" She didn't get why James and Peter were being distant with Sirius as well. Remus made it clear that he was the only one hurt. Why were the two other in no-speaking terms with Sirius as well?

Remus tilted his head. "When a friend hurts another friend, it's totally normal for the other friends to stop talking to the ones who caused the damage." Her stomach dropped and her body started to turn cold as Remus's words settled on her. "Friends are supposed to support and be there for each other, even when the other friend hurt that friend." He squinted his eyes. "I have no idea why you're being so shocked by this."

Evelyn opened her mouth, but nothing came out of it. She didn't know how to respond to Remus. What he said to her had made her brain stop for a moment.

To her luck, she was saved by Binns starting the lesson.

While she made it seem that she was listening to him, her attention was as far as it could be. As she thought about Remus' words, she realized that there was a reason why Don wasn't answering her letters. While she would have chosen Don over Rabastan, that didn't matter much to him. She had chosen Rabastan over their friends. Don wasn't just her friend, he was the others' too. What he was doing was supporting and being there for the others and that to her dismay, couldn't be considered wrong.

Meeting up with Rabastan was something that Evelyn couldn't wait for. Not because she missed him or wanted to see him, but because she wanted to talk to him. She had so many questions about what happened that night, questions that had been looming in her head for more than twenty-four hours. Questions that didn't let her focus on her studies, classes or prefect duties. The questions had captured her whole attention and she knew that they wouldn't let her go until she got some answers.

Hopefully, when she got them, she could let her mind rest. Since yesterday morning, she had been feeling horrible. She usually felt horrible, but the past hours had been, hell for her. When the headache had passed, she started to sweat a lot, nausea continued, her muscles on her stomach started to ache and her whole body continued to shake. Add the inability to focus and the persistent worry of the situation she was in. She didn't even know how she was functioning at the moment.

The door opened and she turned her head immediately. Rabastan stepped in and closed the door behind her. Unlike other times, she didn't approach him, she stayed in her place as her eyes landed on him.

"What were we thinking, Rabastan?" She whispered. He looked up to her and sighed.

"We weren't thinking, Evelyn. Alcohol can do wonders to your mind when you're intoxicated." He reminded her as he put his hands in his pockets. "I know it's bad, but there's nothing you can do to change it."

Her body started to turn warm. She unbuttoned a button of her shirt dress. "Do you remember anything?"

"Bits and pieces," Rabastan answered her as he moved closer to her. "Even what I remember is blurry." She realized that they had been at the same level of intoxication.

Evelyn shivered as she remembered the most pressing question. "Do you remember us using a contraception spell?" Her whole world stopped as she waited for his answer. This question had been the one who would refuse to leave her head. It kept on bothering her no matter what she did. It was mostly because it was followed by another question.

What if you got pregnant?

If that happened, one of Evelyn's fears would come true. She didn't want to be such a young mother. She didn't want to have kids at the age of sixteen. She didn't want to have kids out of wedlock. She didn't want her children to be called bastards like her by snobby and snooty people. She had known from a young age that she wouldn't make the same mistakes as her parents did. She knew that her parents didn't want her to make it either.

"I don't remember." Her shoulders tensed at his answer. "I doubt that I did it though. I don't even know how to cast it. Do you?"

Evelyn's mind immediately went to the kids in her dream. She remembered Edrick theorizing that maybe the kids were hers. What if one of those kids was coming soon? What if she was pregnant with one of those kids?

Her shaking hands moved to her head and she tugged on her hair. "No, no, no." She mumbled as the thoughts settled in her head. "This can't be happening. This can't be happening."

"Evelyn," Rabastan called her name. "Evelyn."

She ignored him. She doubted that even if she wanted to, she could respond to him. Her body's temperature rose, her knees trembled and her heartbeat moved way too fast.

This couldn't be happening to her. Being pregnant could potentially ruin her life. It would definitely ruin her plans. Some of these plans were crucial and if she didn't make them happen, she could kiss her career goodby. She could forget all about it.

Evelyn started to cry. She didn't even bother stopping herself from crying. She didn't care if Rabastan or someone else saw her. She needed to cry.

Out of a sudden, she felt someone move her hands from her hair and grip them. She gasped and looked up.

With narrow eyes, Rabastan was looking down at her. "Stop that." He hissed. "You're looking like you have lost your mind."

She didn't know why, but his word stung. They stung so bad that she stayed immobile. Was she truly losing her mind? Or had she already lost it before? Was she going crazy? Was that the reason why she was feeling like this? Or had she already lost it?

"You're probably not pregnant," Rabastan told her. His words made her snap out of her thoughts. "I'm sure that you're probably not."

"Probably not?" Evelyn repeated. "That could mean that I'm probably pregnant."

Rabastan sighed. "You're blowing this out of proportion."

"I'm not." She responded. "I'm actually reacting to it as normally as someone can. After all, I'm a fifteen-year-old girl who might be pregnant."

"If you are pregnant, we can run away with a child."

Evelyn scoffed. "Run away with a child? We're children ourselves." She reminded him. "How can we raise a baby when we didn't know anything about them? How can we raise it without graduating from Hogwarts and getting stable jobs? How can we raise without having money? This baby will be born before you turn seventeen. I doubt that we'll get your family money." She shivered when she remembered his family. If they found out she was pregnant with Rabastan's kid, they would do unspeakable things to both her and Rabastan. "The best solution will be abortion?"

"So, you're going to kill the baby?"

His question made her stop. She blinked a few times before looking up at him. "It's easy for you to say that." She snapped at him. "You aren't going to carry the baby for months. Your body won't have any lasting impact after birth. You don't have to be shamed for getting pregnant at nine months. I'm sure that the baby will have a harder time than you will." She sniffed. "Besides, the so-called baby is not even an embryo at this point. I won't be killing anything."

"Why don't you want to keep it?"

"Because we're still too young, we're in Hogwarts, I want a career and a baby will stop me from reaching that and because we don't know anything about raising a baby. There are other reasons too, of course." She responded to him.

"And this has nothing with the fact that you, a bastard child, will have another bastard child."

Evelyn's body went cold and she glared at him. "What did-did you just call me?"

"I didn't mean to call you that, I was just trying to find out why you don't want to have kids."

"Couldn't you just have worded that better?" She snapped at him. "And I thought you were sure I probably wasn't pregnant?"

"I never said that." Evelyn frowned as she was sure that she heard him. "With how odd you've been acting, you probably imagined." Her face fell when that thought crossed her mind. Had she lost her mind that she had started to imagine words? Had she really gotten angry? "Although, with your moodiness right now, I'm more sure that you are."

She looked down as tears rolled down her cheeks. She realized that they were probably right. She was probably pregnant and her life was doomed.

Evelyn was sure that she was going crazy. The thought that she was pregnant wouldn't leave her alone. Seeing as she couldn't do a test, she was waiting for her period. It was only a few days away and Evelyn was counting the minutes. If she missed just one day, she would buy a pregnancy tester in the apothecary in her next Hogsmeade visit. Of course, she had to be stealthy and careful. The last thing she needed was for the whole school to find out.

Afterwards, she didn't know what she would do. If she wasn't pregnant, she would just live her life. If she was, she would be stuck at a crossroad.

The truth was that Evelyn wanted to have an abortion. She knew that at her age and position, it was the best possible choice. She knew the risk of it. She knew what it could do to her body. What Rabastan wanted was for her to have the baby. She hadn't expected this of him as he was always smart and didn't seem to care about babies. She knew he had some conservative views and she understood that, but this just rubbed her the wrong way.

She knew that she couldn't do what she wanted to do. If she did, her relationship with Rabastan would be ruined. He would never forgive her. He would hate her forever.

The only option Evelyn could think of was telling her mum. She knew that her mum would be mad and disappointed. She also knew that her mum would point her in the right direction. Yet she was so scared to see her mum's reaction. After all, her mum had taught her better than this.

Her trail of thoughts stopped when an owl dropped a letter on her lap. She blinked a few times. She remembered that she was in the Great Hall, eating lunch, surrounded by many people. She had been so wrapped up in her thoughts that she had forgotten about that.

Looking down at her letter, she saw that it was from Gared, Don's older brother. She had written in hopes to he would tell Don to write to her. She opened the letter and started to read it.

Dear Evie

I got your letter and was immediately worried over the fact that Don didn't respond to your letters. After all, I never thought Don would do that. I contacted him via my dad and found out that he is alright. When I asked him why he hasn't been writing to you, he said that you knew why. He cut off the Floo call after that and dad told me he didn't want to talk to me. So, I don't think your plan is going to work.

However, I think that you just need to talk to him. I don't know if he's coming back to England this summer, but if he does, you need to reach out to him. You have to stop acting like silly kids and just talk to each other. You've been best friends since Don was one year old. You probably can get through whatever is coming your way if you just talk. If he does come to England, I'll tell you, so you can come and talk to him.

As for me, I'm doing well. The job in the Ministry is boring, but my personality makes it better. Hera is doing good as well. She's actually pregnant. We just found about it two weeks ago and I've been telling everyone. Hera told me to keep it quiet, but I was unable to do it. I had to tell the world that the perfect child will be born, so I can brighten their days. Hera wasn't that surprised and she knew it was coming. Either way, we're so excited to have a kid and can't wait for May.

I hope you're doing alright and aren't letting the fifth year kick you down. With all the utmost love, Gared

Evelyn folded the letter. She reminded herself to write Gared a letter to congratulate him on the baby. Despite her paranoia over her potential pregnancy, she was happy to hear a couple who were mutually looking forward to theirs.

Her mind drifted to Don afterwards. She wished that he would write to her. She wished that he would just listen to her. She knew that he was mad at her action, but she knew that if she spoke to him, it would make her life much easier to go through.

Instead of being upset that she wasn't going to Hogsmeade, Evelyn was joyful. The only reason she was planning on going was to get a pregnancy tester. She didn't need that anymore. She had woken up in the morning with cramps and had been delighted to see that she had gotten her period. Usually, periods were painful to her and honestly, they still were, but she was so happy that she didn't care.

For the first time in weeks, Evelyn felt good. Her life was still a mess, this couldn't change that. However, she was going to let herself enjoy the good news she received.

Evelyn leaned against the railing of the Wooden Bridge. She took a deep breath as her eyes glanced towards the Forbidden Forest.

As they did, they caught on to something. Or rather, on to someone. Standing between the many trees was a dark-haired girl. She was staring at Evelyn with grey eyes that held so much intensity. It made her shudder and almost look away. She didn't though. She kept her eyes on the girl that seemed so familiar.

Her eyes widened when she realized who it was. It was the girl from her dream. The girl that Edrick theorized was her future daughter.

Evelyn squinted her eyes to get a better look. She realized that the girl was beckoning at her. She was telling her to come to the forest with her.

She gripped the railing and wondered if she should do as the girl said. After all, she needed to know the answer to all those dreams she had.

"Hello, Evelyn."

The voice behind her startled her. She jumped back and let out a small yelp. When she turned around, she gaped at the sight of the school's headmaster, Albus Dumbledore.

"I'm sorry, Evelyn. I didn't mean to scare you." The old headmaster spoke with his usual calm voice.

"No, it's alright." She assured him as she took a step forward. "I was rather concentrated on the Forbidden Forest."

The man hummed as he moved to stand by her. "Mesmerized by its beauty?"

"I think being mesmerized by its mystery fits better." She responded to him.

Dumbledore smiled. "Ah, you're a natural Ravenclaw. Curiosity is something that all of you possess in some form." Evelyn hummed. She knew that curiosity among other reasons was why the hat sorted her in Ravenclaw rather than Slytherin. "I would have never thought I'd find you in the school today during my walk. You decided not to go to Hogsmeade?"

Evelyn shook her head. "I didn't feel like it." It was a half-lie. She really didn't feel like going, but it was because she had no one to go with. The only reason she wanted to go there before was to get the tester.

"It has nothing to do with the fact that you eat your meals alone?"

Evelyn wasn't surprised that Dumbledore noticed. She always sat at the front of the long table, nearby the faculty. "It does, sir." She admitted. "I've stopped being friends with my former friends."

"That is tragic to hear." Evelyn looked at him from the corner of her eye. "You made a charming group." She bit her lip at his words. "Do you ever think you'll be friends again?"

"I doubt it," Evelyn answered. "They weren't being good friends to me."

'Oh, as if you were being good friends to them.'

Evelyn ignored the voice in her head that sounded too alike with her own.

"Why not?" Dumbledore questioned her.

"Because they made me choose between them and someone I loved." She responded as she clenched her fists. "Why would someone even do that?"

"Maybe your friends were trying to help you out," Dumbledore suggested and she frowned. "Maybe they thought that the person you loved wasn't worthy of your love. Maybe they thought that person wasn't treating you well. Maybe they thought that person wasn't a good person. Maybe they wanted to stop you from making a mistake."

Evelyn's heart sank. He knew. Somehow, Dumbledore knew about Rabastan and her. She thought that they had been clever and secretive. She should have known that it would be hard for them to go unnoticed by Dumbledore. He was known for his intellect and observing skill. Of course, he'd noticed a relationship like theirs in Hogwarts.

"Although, I'm surprised that they told you to choose between this person and them."

She looked down. "They didn't." She admitted. "The person told me that their lies and false warnings were indicators that one day they would do that. So, I chose before they asked me to do it."

Dumbledore raised his eyebrow. "So, your friends never made you choose?"

"They were going to." She insisted.

"How do you know that?"

Her question made her go silent. Rabastan had told her that they would. He knew that they'd make lies about him. He knew that they'd warn hear bout him. He knew that they'd start being against their relationship.

"They made lies about him. They told me to stay away from him. They kept warning me about him despite not knowing him." She jumped in to say.

Evelyn had no idea what Dumbledore was trying to do. With his words, she doubted that she would consider talking to her friends, especially with the letter that Christina gave to her.

"I'm going to ask you a few questions, Evelyn." She turned to face him. "Why do you think that your friends were lying? Why do you think they told you to stay away from him? Why do you think they don't know him?"

"Because he said so."

"Forget about him. What do you think?"

That question felt like someone put a hole in the wood she was standing. She felt like she was falling. She felt like she fell in the deepwater of the Black Lake. The cold waters of it made her eyes open and finally see what was happening to her with a clear vision.

In truth, Evelyn probably had been ignoring his actions since the third year. She had been doing that since the day that he had told her that he would prove he was worthy of her time.

She realized that all of his so-called good deeds weren't done out of good intentions. Everything he had done wasn't because it was the good thing to do. Everything he had done after that was to impress her. He didn't join his friends in their bullying because of her. He didn't let his friends hex Edrick because of her. He didn't want to be a Death Eater because of her. He stopped a fight between her friend and his because of her. He wanted to leave his family because of her. He never did anything because it was the right thing to do. He did it all because of her.

Maybe he even did to deceive her into believing that he was a good person. He was a Slytherin after all and Slytherins were known for their cunning. Maybe Rabastan wanted to make her believe it until he had her wrapped under her fingers.

Sadly, he had her wrapped around his fingers. Before their relationship had even started, he had pushed some boundaries by trying to be close to her or kissing her. After their relationship, he had belittled her, shown extreme jealousy, controlled her, lied to her and manipulated her.

She had let him turn her into this shallow version of herself. She had let him make decisions for her. She had stopped talking about their relationship with her friends because of him. She had stopped hanging out with the Marauders because of him. She had ended her friendships because of him. She had let him ruin everything good about her life. She had let him play with her life a fickle.

Evelyn wrapped her arms around herself. "I'm such a fool." She breathed out.

"You're not a fool." She looked up to Dumbledore. "You see, Evelyn, love makes us blind. Being in love with someone makes it incredibly easy to belittle or ignore all of the bad qualities the person possesses. When you love someone, it's hard to see through their wrong actions. Love makes you ignore the actions of this person when you would react if others did it. It starts easily with ignoring the small things and next thing, you know you're brushing off the big things. It doesn't help when the person you love noticed this and starts using it against you. I think this is what happened with you, Evelyn. He saw you brush off the small things and slowly, he started doing worse deeds which again got ignored by you as he had gained control over your thoughts and actions."

"How come I didn't notice?" She wondered. "All my friends did. Merlin, even Sirius Black and my mum did, but I didn't."

"Love makes us ignorant. Ignorance is bliss. A bliss that we fear would end if we admit the other person's wrongdoings." She closed her eyes as she realized that the bliss had just ended for her. "And even when you have doubts, you start telling yourself that change is slow and progressive, that you shouldn't expect them to change overnight. You try making yourself believe that you are changing them for the good. In truth, they're only changing you." Evelyn shivered as every word he said resonated with her. "And one day, you realize that you don't want to see them angry or sad. Not because you don't want to see the person you love to feel those emotions, but because you fear them when they do."

Was Evelyn scared of Rabastan? She realized that she was. After all, she had stopped being hanging out with Marauders because he was upset and angry whenever she did. She had done it out to fear rather than out of love.

"You let the love take the lead of our emotions and thoughts. You let the person control us. You let them control us to the point that if we don't stop we could fall in the same category with them. You could become just as a bad person as they are."

Her eyes widened when she realized what he was saying. Did Rabastan have such control over her that she would end up like him? Or become a Death Eater? A part of her was too scared to know.

"What is going to happen now?" She wondered out loud.

Dumbledore cleared her throat. "That depends entirely on you, Evelyn. You have another choice to make concerning Mr Lestrange."

I'm sorry for taking this long to post this chapter. Life kept me busy and I could barely write this chapter. I hope that I can post more frequently, but due to life and its unexpected plans for me, I can't say anything concrete.

I hope you all enjoy this chapter. I've been waiting for so long. I just want to say that abusive relationships aren't the same and people experience them in different ways. Some people realize it before it gets as bad as Evelyn's while others realize it when it gets way worse. Sadly, there are cases when the victim never realizes and ends up staying in that relationship. There are times when they do, but their self-worth (due to abuse) is so low that they don't do anything about it. Also, there are times when the victim blames themselves and never leaves because of it. So, I want you to remind my readers that experiences aren't universal when it comes to abusive relationships. I hope, at least, you have enjoyed how I wrote the relationship Evelyn has with Rabastan.

As for Dumbledore being the one to make Evelyn see the truth, that's been hinted at in the chapter 'Eve in Wonderland'. It happens when Sunlight (Evelyn) meets an owl that has a beard and half-moon glasses. I don't know if some of you already realized it would be Dumbledore who makes her realize.

Thank you for reading, following, favouriting and reviewing the story. If you can, please let me know what you thought of the chapter with a review.

Guest your fan: Evelyn and Elena have a very complicated relationship due to their families. However, they're trying to make it through despite their complications. I think that you'll be happy with the end of the chapter when it comes to both the pregnancy scare and Rabastan. As for Evelyn's friends, you are forgetting that they didn't leave Evelyn, she left them. She didn't want to be friends with them because of Rabastan. They tried to help her a lot, but she lashed out and hurt them all. Sadly, Evelyn would never listen to her friends. The only person she listened is Dumbledore, a third party in this situation. Let's not forget what they suspect of Rabastan. They think he's dangerous and a future Death Eater. They don't even know he's abusing her already, they just think he's bad for her. And on top of that, Evelyn has been lying for years about who she really is and months for what happened with Hart. Her friends have seen through her lies. You can call them bad friends, but you also have to call Evelyn the worst friend of them all. While yes, she's a victim of Rabastan's abuse that doesn't excuse the pain she caused to them. If Rabastan hadn't told Evelyn to not speak about their relationship with her friends, I can assure you that they will be in a different situation because her friends would be more informed. I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter and I hope you enjoy this one too.
