Who are the Anomaly Hunters?

Spacetime, as any experienced member of Gear Chronicle can tell you, is a surprisingly volatile substance. Subject to tearing from sudden shocks or the long-term wear-and-tear of endless branching timelines and alternate realities, temporal anomalies are commonplace. These range from harmless (being the ultimate causes of interesting but inconsequential phenomena such as deja vu) to potentially catastrophic (including planetary destruction or realities swallowing each other). The Anomaly Hunters have been given the task of seeking out and mending the more dangerous anomalies before such cosmic disasters unfold. Operating from the FOB of Shambhala, a mighty castletown lying between two obscure planes of existence where time is slowed to near nonexistence, they spend they're days surveying and smashing the universe's kinks.

Who is Suchandra?

The current commander-in-chief of the Anomaly Hunters, current lord of Shambhala, and a proud member of the Gear Chronicle clan's innermost circles. A being from beyond space and time, he is a primordial being that symbolizes notions of justice, punishment, totality, and balance. He claims he's formed from such notions themselves, and while most are skeptical, the evidence on what he actually is remains sparse enough that it is still entertained as a possibility. The wheel on his back, the mighty Samsara Cycler, is the source of his power, an inconceivably powerful artifact forged in the depths of a unstable star eons ago. Using his piece of godly equipment, he can both mend and permanently destroy the very essence of spacetime, and possibly alter fate permanently. While a braggart, he never seeks conflict, and takes his responsibilities of lordship and generalship very seriously.

Who is Chrono Cannon Tortoise?

A being as old as time itself, this walking weapon once held one of the very first realities on it's back. Thousands of millennia later, as the reality decayed, it was gradually mechanized and armed to stave off encroaching realities trying to fill the vacuum left behind. It proved futile, but it transformed the steadfast guardian into a mobile fortress capable of destroying realities. Fortunately for the universe, it was swayed by the founding elements of Gear Chronicle to use its immense power to defend spacetime, not annihilate it. A bulwark against large anomalous waves, he's considered a last resort, using his eponymous tachyon cannons only in dire straights. Of the "Four Great Animals" (an informal grouping of Chronojet Dragon, Chronofang Tiger, Chronofeather Phoenix, and itself), it is the most bestial, unable to speak or communicate strategy other than straightforward assaults. However, it is the gentlest of giants, albeit somewhat morose due to seeing countless realities come and go.
