thecrabmaster: That was back when James wasn't use to being a hero. Trying to show off a bit. To live up to how he saw his dad. Now he's calmer and, while still TERRIBLE at naming his aliens, gives them meaningful names where possible. Basically James changed its name because he thought of a better one. And since he isn't like his dad, where the names are sentimental to him, he doesn't mind changing them.
Negaben364: the Red Lantern of that show wasn't the same species as Bleez, but I know what you mean.

Chapter 58
War Of Light Part 1
"You did WHAT?!" John Steward snapped at the Guardians in disbelief, flouting next to a red haired man and a brunette man
"Lantern Stewart, please understand." One of the Guardians tried to quell the situation.
"Oh, shut up will ya!" The red haired man snapped back
The Guardians flinched at the sudden yell from this Lantern. James knew about these guys, Kyle told the Titans about them. Guy Guarder was the red head, a bit of an arrogant ass. Next to him was Hal Jordan, the first human Green Lantern and mentor to new recruits.
"You keep going on and on about 'the greater good'; but when a guy is tryin' to help ya, you force him to give you the answers or shove your heads up your asses!" Guy ranted
"Guy! I think they get it." John responded.
"Tch." Guy huffed as he turned around.
Over with the Titans, James was letting them know what had happened. Luckily, they still had time before the war. "That's about the long and short of it." James finished.
"So it's possible for you to fix that big lantern there?" Garfield asked, pointing to the distance.
"Possibly." He shrugged
"You continue to keep secrets from all of us." Hal stated "Sector 666, the ManHunter's, the emotional spectrum! Everything! You alienated the Blue Lantern's, we where nearly killed by Larfleeze because of the deal you made with him! And you dragged the Red's into the war with you ordering the arrest to Kilowag and the others while that Red Lantern was in Earth!"
"You weren't authorised to-" Scar interrupted, still up his own ass.
"'Not authorised'?" Hal snapped.
"Lantern Jordan. You are correct." Ganthet responded, accepting his responsibility. "We have been flawed for eons."
"What are you saying, Ganthet? We-!" Scar glared.
"We have gone on for too long. We are not needed in this world." Ganthet answered.
"You know. I don't get why you don't do the obvious." Dick commented
"And what is that?" One guardian asked
"Work together." The Titan's said simply
The Guardians and Lanterns blinked at that, something so simple... It would be easy, but their pride and ego had gotten in the way.
"Are you sure that will work?" Sayd asked
"Couldn't hurt." Dick shrugged.
The Guardians looked at each other and the Lanterns as well. "Very well." Ganthet answered making Scar and other Guardians frown "It will take time to contact the other Lanterns, but we will get it done."
"Good. And while I'm still here, let's sort out that 'weakness to yellow'; shall we?" James asked
"We will be watching over this peace treaty you are gonna need to make." John added
"Of course, Lantern Stewart." A Guardian nodded respectfully.
"I cannot believe this!" Scar glared.
"Dude, just stop!" James answered. "Swallow your pride, think about this without your ego and shut up!"
"I shall head off to Odym, to request the help of the Blue Lantern's." Ganthet said
"Oh, you're pet project." Another guardian scoffed
"That 'pet project' is part of the Emotional Spectrum. I've seen it, you've seen it. It's not something to scoff at!" James pointed out.
"You have seen the Blue Lantern's emotion?" Ganthet asked.
"Yeah, and I've got a feeling I know which emotion goes with it." James answered.
"Thank you, James. We will have this alliance. And we will end this conflict." Ganthet took charge, looking at Scar with defiance, while the other Guardians had different levels of anger which was surprising for beings who where supposedly 'without emotion'. While some found this as an annoyance, others felt outright disgusted by the idea.
*Elsewhere*
We see Bleez, alone on the bloody lava planet. She was resting on her bed... or what constituted as a bed in this location. Mostly stone, where she sat looking at her ring. She thought about James... and what he was telling her. How he was able to transform and how he treated her with respect and like a person.
How had she lost two days?
"Urgh. My head." She rubbed her face and eyes past her mask.

"Huh?" she blinked and saw... a cat fly into her room "Dex-Star." she frowned "I see Atrocitous sent his pet to keep an eye on me."
"Yes. Dex-Star is good kitty." Dex-Star answered, floating down onto the bed. Well, to be technical, the ring was speaking FOR "Worried for you."
Bleez sighed heavily as she saw the cat, despite being a Red Lantern... Dex-Star was one of the kindest Lanterns here. Maybe that was just what cats are? Whatever a cat was. So weird.
"What can I do while stuck here?" Bleez asked when the wall suddenly exploded
BOOM!
"Gah! The hell?!" Bleez shouted, getting on the 'offensive'.
Two red auras flared to life, the two red lanterns preparing themselves as the walk to Bleez's living area was broken in to...
And suddenly they where assaulted by shards of pink crystals and a river of blood
*With James*
James was still on Oa, he was part of the representatives in this war council to make an alliance of all the Lantern Corps. He was currently in his Mechamorph state, merged with the Central Power Battery.
"Jeez, look at all of this! This is crazier than Kilowog's Ring." James thought to himself as he seemed to 'float' inside of the Central Power Battery. "Now, where's that 'corruption'?" He was multitasking. Trying to fix the yellow impurity while also talking with this small council. The Guardians, Hal, John and Killowog. They had sent Guy off to get the Blue Lantern's with Ganthet
"With the Lanterns, how do you think we can adapt them?" Sayd asked, trying to write everything down like a secretary.
"Couldn't we try and re-evaluate ourselves?" John asked.
"I agree." Hal nodded. "Maybe have some Lanterns act like prison guards to violent or dangerous criminals."
"No." another Guardian snapped "If we allow this, it will be nothing but destruction! It will set us back millennia!"
"If we don't do this, we're going to have this problem for the rest of our lives!" Hal answered.
"What are these other Lanterns? Do they have any abilities that we don't have?" John added.
"I am sorry, but I need to step in." James groaned as he demerged from the Battery, or at least most of himself "You guardian's... how far up your asses ARE you?! I've been in the same room as you for... how long? Half an hour? And I just want to smash you all across the face. Come on! We need to work together! You can NOT be the end all, be all, power and demand these other Corps' bow under you and do as you say... especially with how you've pissed them all off!"
The Guardians felt sheepish as they heard James snap at them. He was right. They were egotistical. How many times have their decisions doomed or made the universe worse?
"So... you guys can work our HOW you get the other Corps to agree to this, but this is how it is all going to go down." James said seriously "The Green's keep their normal stuff, maybe lightening the duties a bit. The Yellow's can do the same as the Green, only dealing with the more... darker and seriously messed up stuff. And the Red's can be the black ops."
"And... what of the Star Sapphires? And Ganthet's Blue Lanterns?" Sayd inquired, taking note of this.
"Don't know much about the Star's but the Blue's enhance Green light, right?" James questioned
"Yes, it's a virtuous cycle. While a Green Lantern gives Blue Lanterns constructs, the Blue Lanterns 'overcharge' a Green Lantern's abilities. It might even be possible for them to help Red Lanterns." Sayd nodded.
...
"Soooo?" James asked, waving his hand in a small circle to urge the guardian to keep talking
"I... Do not understand?" Another guardian blinked...
...
SLAP!
"God... Damn it." James groaned into a facepalm "This is so obvious! Just... how far up your ass are you?"
"He means have a Blue Lantern partner with every Green Lantern. Team up, partners. Supporting each other." John deadpanned
"Sounds like a bloody plan." Hal added with a confident smile.
"Well, it'd be a nice change if they know what they're doing." Kilowog commented. "They'll learn on the job. You look out for them, they'll look out for you."
"Now if you excuse me, I have work to finish. YOU guys think of how to convince these corps' to agree and how to make up to them." James snapped before fusing with the battery again
"Insolent child." Skar glared "We are the Guardians, the oldest living beings in the universe. It is our right to lead the Green Lantern Corps and to guide the galaxy to safety, these other corps should just follow our orders and know our way is necessary and correct, or die."
"You want to say that again?" Hal glared at Skar, who felt insulted by what he said.
*Meanwhile*
Elsewhere on Oa, the Titan's who had gone to space where being given the tour by Kyle. Cyberian, Starfire, Blackfire, Argent, Batwoman, Kid Flash, Stargirl and Blue Beetle
Batwoman and Kid Flash were holding hands together, both of them feeling overwhelmed because of the scope of it all.
Kori and Kom felt kind of at-home since they lived in space themselves, but were just as amazed by the difference in culture.
Cyberian felt a huge well of emotion as he saw all the new technology, seeing this beyond such dreams while he was on Earth.
"This is real cool." Stargirl said with... star's in her eyes
"Thanks." Kyle laughed with a smile
Blue Beetle frowned a bit at that, mumbling under his breath for a moment
"Jaime, are you okay?" Kom gently asked him, acting like a mother.
Jaime looked up at Kom, shaking nervously as he was... literally in enemy territory. At least for his Scarab. He was doing everything to calm his partner down "Yeah, I'm fine." he muttered, glaring at Kyle as he and Courtney laughed at what the other was saying
"I can't believe this is where you got your powers. It's amazing." Courtney smiled.
"Yeah. Hehe. I did get some training." he grinned
"Maybe, if there's time, we can get a tour?" Courtney asked
"Sure." he smiled

Beep
"No suit. You aren't doing that." Jaime hissed weakly
Kom frowned as she saw the Scarab 'talk' to Jaime. "It'll be alright, Jaime."
"Huh?" he blinked
"If you're uncomfortable here, we'll head home soon." Kom reassured him, before whispering. "And I'll teach you how to talk to girls." making him blush
KABOOM!
Suddenly the sky was filled with yellow and red light
"What the hell?" The group asked.
"Oh no." Jaime and Kyle gasped in shock, as their respective weapons began to flare up.
Up in space, the War of Light had began.
*With Bleez*
Bleez was flung back in pain, crashing through a wall. Ambushed, in her own home and on Ysmault of all places!
"What... The hell?" The grunted as she saw a red lantern approaching her
"So sorry about this, Bleez. But do me a favour and just die." The Red Lantern spoke, its hands dripping with blood.
"Sh... Shallda?" Bleez grunted "What are you doing?!"
"What's needed." Shallda answered. "The Red Lanterns are unfocused. We need to change."
Flouting behind him was the Star Sapphire, who was smirking "What a pretty slut." she mocked
"A Star Sapphire? What the hell?!" Bleez grunted "Shallda, have you betrayed us?!"
"I've just had my eyes opened, Bleez. Love is much more wonderful than rage." Shallda responded, with open arms. "Can't you see that?"
Bleez just growled as she heard that. 'Love'? What was 'Love' when those Yellow Lanterns assaulted her? Bleez hissed and yelled, rushing at the Star Sapphire "YOU BIIITCH!" She lunged at her ready to spew out napalm blood at her only for a large wall of pink crystal to emerge from the ground, blocking the attack "Hnn!" She grunted, slamming into the wall and was punched back by Shallda and a bloody strike from his fist "Gah!" She coughed/gagged in pain
"HIISSSSSS!"
Suddenly Dex-Star hissed, jumping at the Star Sapphire from behind
SLASH!
"ARGH!" The Star Sapphire grunted, feeling the claws of the cat slash into her back.
"My love!" Shallda called out.
"Bad lady!" Dex-Star hissed angrily.
"You little shit!" She hissed and blasted Dex-Starr away
"Dex-Star!" Bleez grunted as she saw her 'protector' shot away.
"Now, Bleez, feel the love!" the Star Sapphire called as her ring unleashed a large blast of pink energy
The energy rushed through the air, hitting Bleez in the chest... And pink crystals began to grow from the impact zone, encasing Bleez's body slowly
"Wh-What is this?" Bleez grunted, feeling the crystals almost cut through her body.
"The power of the Star Sapphire!" The woman laughed as the pink crystal completely covered Bleez's Chet's and stomach, more crystals descending and growing over the Red Lantern's thighs "Embrace the love!"
"N-Never!" Bleez spat at her, before doubling over in pain.
"Soon you will." She smirked "And you will thank me for it."
Bleez tried to struggle, as her face was covered in crystals...
*With James*
James was now deep within the Lantern. And soon... he found the corruption. And it was a little more than a 'minor thing. It was a massive insectoid looking creature!
"What the hell?!" He yelled, metaphorically jumping back
The eyes of the insectoid creature opened, looking at the 'black speck' in its 'home'. It seemed to not care that this thing was in its domain "Who are you?!" It snarled at James
"I am James Tennyson! I'm here to cut this corruption out of this big ass Lantern!" James answered. "And; who the hell are you?"
"Pitiful. You cannot remove me." It remarked with a scoff and snarl. "I have existed inside this Lantern for millennia. I am at the heart of all Green Lanterns." The creature responded.
"Doesn't answer my question, ugly!" James responded before it slowly turned and almost pushed James back from the movement of wind alone.
"Yes, 'ugly' is an apt word. But FEAR can be ugly." The entity answered. "You are staring into the face of 'Fear' itself! Know my name and cower, I am Parallax!"
"I see." James frowned
"I have not seen your kind before." Parallax commented, tilting its head. "A strange metal alien. You must be used to seeing fear in the face. But you must be afraid of something."
"That's none of your business." James answered, ready to leave and remove this infestation. "I've got to remove you so the Green Lanterns can stop the Yellows."
"Ah, I see. Those little blue bastards are still using others for their own means." Parallax remarked. "Tell me, do you know how they came into power?"
"Not really." He shrugged "But I refuse to let people be slaughtered."
Parallax chuckled to himself. "Markings of a 'hero'. How poetic. I'll be looking forward if Butcher makes a call."
"Butcher?"
"You don't think I'm the only being of this power? Butcher is of Rage. I am Fear. We are the Source of both of those emotions." Parallax answered while reaching for James before being shut up, a large whale like being slamming into the fear bug
"No! You shall not control him!" the whale like being hissed
"What the actual Hell?!" James asked in shock as he saw this. "Who are you?"
"Ion!" Parallax hissed, forced downwards by the whale-like entity that seemed to almost blend into the environment "You pathetic fish!*
"I will not allow you to continue here!" Ion responded.
"Hasn't stopped me before!" Parallax hissed and lunged at the entity
"You two are like children!" James deadpanned
"He started it!" The two snapped, pointing at the other.
"Urgh..." James groaned, facepalming and dragged his hand over his face in frustration. What to do? They seemed like big children... god damn, he had to put on the dad pants.
Energy blasts shot out between the two beings, Parallax aiming to kill Ion; the green energy entity tried to sever the insectoid from its home Lantern.
"Whoa! Watch where you're shooting those!" James called out, dodging the energy rays. He glared, and decided to turn into something big. "THAT'S IT!" James called out and slammed his Matrix. In a flash of light, James had transformed into a new form. The two figures gasped as the sight of this yellow light grabbed their attention and turning to them... was a strange metallic-black-skinned alien with brass coloured coils and finger-tipped hands with two long dreadlocks on its head, a single eye in its head and his matrix in the centre of its chest. "Alright, you two. Knock it off or I'm gonna force Mr 'Fear Monger' here out!"
The two looked at him in shock, confused as well.
"Oh, please. What can a little thing like you do?" Parallax rolled his eyes and shot beams of energy at James.
James frowned and raised his hand... ABSORBING the energy!
"WHAT?!" Parallax shouted as it seemed to shrink in size.
Green and yellow energy rushed through the air, spiraling and mixing. They where absorbed into James' fingers as he grunted, taking in the power... and noticing how, when mixed, he could see sparks of blue within it. He knew, that was wrong. Green and yellow do not mix to make blue, and it had nothing to do with the visible spectrum as that was Red/Green/Yellow. So why could he see blu-
"Hope." James spoke as he stopped draining the power, leaving the two panted in exhaustion
"What... are you talking about?" Parallax hissed
"The ability to feel but also fight against fear? There is hope in that." James commented "It is a link between the two emotions. You feel fear, and you hope to have the will... courage... whatever you want to call it, to overcome it. Emotions are linked and... oh. Oh crap!"
"You are very strange, human." Ion spoke
"What are you babbling about now?" Parallax hissed
KABOOM!
ZAP!
BANG!
CRASH!
"It doesn't matter to you." he responded with a frown as the chaos from outside snapped his focus back "So, this is what is going on. Out there the Red Lantern's, Yellow Lantern's and Green Lantern's are at war! There might even be the Blue Lantern's out there! If I do not get rid of you, then the Green's will be slaughtered." James explained, pointing at Parallax with a glare
"As they should." the fear bug hissed
"Shut it." he glared "So, I need to get you out of here. Like you both want, since you seem to want to."
"You let me out, and I shall slaughter them all." Parallax hissed darkly
"As I guessed." he responded
"Let me out, as well." Ion responded "I am not needed within the Battery and I could be of assistance."
"Look. I am trying to make peace-" James started before he rubbed his head "Damn it. Diplomat time..." James closed his eyes, thinking 'Please be safe, Bleez.' he thought, putting this whole war together
*outside*
The skies above Oa where alight with red, yellow and green lights. It was like fireworks, stars... but it was actually a war!
"JORDON!" Sinestro called, shooting a large blast of yellow energy at the human Lantern "IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG!"
"You're right, Thaal." Hal Jordon responded, zipping around the battle field to dodge his foes blasts "Why can't you stop this, Sinestro?! Are these death's worth it?! We where friends once!"
"That is the tragedy of all this, Hal." Sinestro responded "We where always friends. But those blue bastards will answer their crimes! SINESTRO WILL RULE!"
"BURN!" Atrocitous roared, unleashing a wave of blazing blood rushing from his mouth
"Darn it!" John grunted, holding back the flow with a force field from his ring
"THE GUARDIANS WILL BURN! THEY WILL SUFFER FOR THEIR CRIMES!" Atrocitous roared "THE RED LANTERN'S SHALL RISE!"
"This is chaos." Kyle frowned as he did his best despite the seemingly endless wave of enemies
"Didn't think it would be so easy, Rayner?" Kilowog responded. "This is war. There will be casualties."
"I wasn't trained for war!" Blue Beetle pointed out, shooting out blasts from his arm guns
The Lanterns turned to Jaime and saw him shooting those arm guns and hitting different Red and Yellow Lanterns, though Jaime had to struggle from hitting the Green Lanterns. "No! We can't kill them!" He shouted to someone. The suit continued to beep and flash, demanding something's serious and dangerous.
"Frigging Reach Tech!" Kom frowned, seeing how hard Jaime was fighting those urges of the suit. "We'll help Jaime, just try and hold the line!"
Meanwhile, back on the planet, Cass and Bart felt kinda... useless. Cass was acting as a protector for a small emergency medical tent while Bart rushed off and grabbed any injured Green Lantern's to take a breather and get help from their own space tech
"I've got two more!" Bart spoke, bringing two more downed Lanterns.
Cass nodded back, hoping everything was alright
"It's looking bad out there, this whole thing." Bart admitted, scared that they were over their heads.
Cass reached and held his hand, calming Bart down before kissing him. "It will be okay."
"Thanks." he smiled
The Lanterns who were still wounded groaned, getting put into the medical tent while Kori tried to help with medicine. "You will be okay, we will protect you."
Cyberian was plugged into the planets defenses, blasting away 'Come on, come on! I can't let up now! People are counting on us!' He thought as he was working over a hundred different weapons at once.
KABOOM!
"FREEDOM!*
"... Really? 'Braveheart'?" Bart asked.
"It's a classic!" Victor snapped.
SHATTER!
"What was-?" Cass asked, before Bart ran off.
...
And he returned, shaking
"Giant monster bug..." he mumbled
"I'm sorry... what?" Victor asked.
"Giant. Monster. Bug!" Bart squeaked, shaking in fear.
*Outside*
"I AM FREE AT LAST!" Parallax roared as he rushed into the space world
The Green Yellow and Red Lanterns looked in horror and adoration. Parallax had been released! The embodiment of Fear itself was released into the universe!
"What did he do? What the hell did James do?!" Guy, the red-haired Green Lantern, shouted as he saw the beast as he arrived with the Blue Lantern's
"I believe that he just summoned an entity." A pale-blue-skinned alien with tendril hair responded, wearing a blue and black bodysuit with a modified lantern-shaped symbol on his chest.
Following the beast was an almost beautiful song as Ion flew through space as well
"Correction. Two." A Blue Lantern responded.
"It's beautiful." Hal whispered in shock, seeing Ion fly through space.
"Hal, get your head in the game! We'll be mesmerised later!" John responded.
Out of the Lantern, James flew out in his new alien form and stared upwards. "Alright, that's taken care of the corruption."
"Are you serious?" Ganthet asked, overjoyed to hear that.
"Yep; tall, yellow and ugly was inside of the Lantern." James answered. "He took every last bit of itself out with him. And Ion soon followed suit."
"You idiot child!" One Guardian snapped
"Oh, I'm sorry." James sarcastically rolled his eyes. "Did you want a glaring weakness in your main defense force where the enemy has a 100% advantage and have billions of deaths on your hands?" He angrily retorted at the Guardian.
"Parallax was sealed away because of the threat he posed!" another Guardian snapped
Parallax roared victoriously as he was about to strike with his energy blasts.
"I've got a trick for that." James answered, using his powers and flew upwards by manipulating electomagnitism.
FLASH!
James had transformed once again, this time becoming an Ultimate version of the alien his father dubbed Loadstar
The alien's head was a silver metal colour with yellow eyes, held in a hollowed cone shape helmet, his torso looked strong with black and silver metals, his hands were 'U' shaped magnets and silver balls on his wrists and feet. All in all, James looked like he was a 1950's styled astronaut toy with magnets on his person.
James rocketed upwards in a high-speed strike and floated easily in space. 'Time to test this guy out. And properly this time!' He rushed around, sprinting through space right at Parallax
"What? Annoying gnat! Get out of my face!" Parallax hissed as the Yellow Lanterns were stunned that their yellow energy couldn't break through the Green Lantern's constructs with ease anymore. They had to try and break them!
Power Level: 150%! 160%! 170%!
Meanwhile the Green Lantern Ring's continued to grow in strength thanks to the close proximity to the Blue Lantern's... As well as the fact Ion was flying around the battle field as if he was looking for something
'Where are you?' Ion thought to itself.
"This is frigging incredible!" Kyle called out, feeling the natural overcharge of his Lantern Ring before he spotted Ion flying at him "Oh crap!" Kyle's eyes widened as Ion approached.
"Look out!" Jaime called out, worried for his teammate only for the giant green being turned into pure energy and slammed into Kyle's body, being absorbed into him
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Kyle yelled in pain as his body shook, feeling all the energy rush into him
shatter!
And his ring shattered
"KYLE!" Courtney yelled in worry
"Oh no!" Kom called out. "James!"
"I'm on it!" He responded as he felt his 'cone helmet' open and point directly at Parallax and the Yellow Lanterns and shot a blast of electromagnetic charged energy right at them. James had become a living Rail Gun! He fired at Parallax, confusing everyone that he was ignoring Kyle
"YOU INSCOLINT LITTLE-!" Parallax snapped
"Yeah, yeah. Just shut it, bug-boy!" James retorted, firing again.
"Parallax!" Sinestro roared
Parallax screamed as it was shot at by James, feeling a large hole appear in its side. "Sinestro! My champion!"
"Parallax, the entity of fear." Sinestro glared "None control me! You shall belong to Thall Sinestro!" He roared, grabbing the fear being
Shatter!
And like Kyle, his ring shattered
"Oh, fragging hell." Kilowog gasped as he saw this and Kyle's eyes glowed brightly with green energy.
Kyle's suit suddenly changed as he gasped. He levitated into the air as his costume turned green on black, the Lantern symbol on his chest vanished so it was a black spot, his gloves turned black with green rectangles on the palms and back of his hand, a green domino mask with glowing eyes, and a harmonised aura about him.
"Kyle?" Starfire gasped
"Yes. But also, no." Kyle spoke with an overlapped voice. "I have joined with Ion."
"Ion?" Hal asked
...
And then Sinestro's laughter could be heard
They looked up as Sinestro began to crack and roar with laughter. He too had merged with the Entity of the Emotional Spectrum "I now control Parallax!"
Sinestro's body had now become armoured, golden yellow thighs and shoulder guards, a black stomach area, a bright void in his chest where his Lantern symbol was, metallic sleeves and a flowing yellow cape. And his pure black hair now had a streak of white going over the top.
"James! What did you do?!" Cyberian yelled
"It is a deal." he responded "I am being a diplomat."
"This is what you call 'diplomacy'?!" Guy responded, snapping at James.
"Yes." he nodded "Ion and Parallax shall battle."
"You're putting Kyle on the front lines!" Courtney responded.
"Stargirl. I'll be alright." Kyle reassured her.
"But-But he could kill you." she sniffed
"Parallax and Ion agreed to take hosts of their respective parts of the spectrum and they would battle." James explained "If Ion wins, then we shall strive for peace."
"And if Parallax wins?" John asked
"Then fear shall whip you all out!" Sinestro roared, a part of Parallax's voice leaking out
"GRAH!" Atrocitous roared, trying to unleash a large blast of red energy from his ring, only to be blocked by a wall of blue light
"Be calm, Red Lantern. We are all striving for peace. All Will Be Well." the leader of the Blue Lantern's, Saint Walker, urged
"PEACE?! With those Guardians?! After what they did to Sector 666?! What they did to my home?! To my family?!" the leader roared in pure rage
"... what?" James frowned
"Do not listen to him!" Skar snapped
"Oh, be quiet!" Hal snapped back, turning to James "I guess you guys didn't hear yet."
"There is a reason Hal, Gai, Kilowag and I don't follow the Guardian's blindly, and stand up to them." John sighed
"Hear what? What did they do?" Jaime asked in concern, his Beetle trying to continue fighting.
"They created killer robots called 'Manhunters'." Hal answered, glaring at Skar
"They where to be the warriors of the Guardians, our hand at the laws of the universe!" Skar boasted
"And yet, they were heartless and emotionless machines. And they slaughtered sectors because of their programming." Kilowog frowned.
"Wait... They did?" Jaime blinked as he heard his beetle respond
"You guys are disgusting." Blackfire responded
"But is that worth all this destruction?" Saint Walker asked the Red Lantern leader "All the lives that would be lost if we do not work together?"
"Thank you." James nodded before turning to Atrocious "Come on. I know these guys are monsters, but if the corps all unite you can protect the entire universe! It would be a million times safer as one United force, instead of you all fighting amongs yourselves! Why does there only have to be one corps?!"
"Because RAGE is the only answer, that is the only path for justice!" Atrocious snarled
"Then... Looks like there is only one way to stop you." James frowned, charging at the red giant
"Ion, Green Lantern! Let our battle begin!" Sinestro/Parallax ordered, yellow energy charging
"I... Think I can do this." Kyle commented, feeling Ion's powers flow through him
"Why Kyle?" Hal frowned "He's a newby, especially compared to us. And I'm the only one we know who's will can match Sinestro's."
"Sounding a bit arrogant, Hal." John smiled "I guess Ion knows something we don't about Kyle."
Green and yellow filled the air... Before the two forces rushed at one another
