Harry grinned at a photo of Teddy screwing up his face as little Victoire kissed his cheek.
"This one has to go in the album," he called out to Ginny.
They were selecting photos from their wedding to go into the official album, along with a select few that would be framed.
Harry was enjoying himself, it was almost like re-living the day all over again. It had been a brilliant spring day and the Burrow's grounds had never looked more colourful. It had set the scene for most of the photos backgrounds.
"Gin?"
She had been unusally quiet the last minute or so. There had been so many photos to choose from, they had decided to split them in half to save time; each one selecting several photos that were deemed worthy. They had been having a wonderful time as they each held up photos they found amusing and/or touching.
Harry looked over at her, she seemed lost in thought as she looked at a photo. He moved to stand behind her, his arms wrapping around his wife's tiny waist as he leaned his head on her shoulder and peered over to see the photo she seemed fixated on.
It was a photo of Ginny and her brothers. Ron and Charlie stood either side of her, while Bill, George and Percy kneeled in front of her, all resplendent in their white shirts, vests and bow ties.
"I like that one," he told her softly.
She sighed, leaning back against him, bringing the photo to eye level.
"I like it too, but..."
"But...?" He encouraged, when she didn't elaborate.
"All I can see is the brother who isn't there," she finally admitted.
Fred
Harry thought back to the ceremony. He'd been waiting patiently for Ginny to arrive, not looking back as he'd been told to. Ron and Neville stood nearby, standing up for him.
"Er mate, I'll be right back," Ron said suddenly.
Harry looked at him. "What?"
"Back in a 'mo. Got to go, you know." And then he was gone.
Neville looked as dumbfounded as Harry.
"I nearly had a heart attack. Thought you'd changed your mind or something," admitted current day Harry.
Ginny chuckled. "I had no idea they would do that."
She had come down the stairs, expecting to find her father waiting. He was, but surrounding him were all her brothers, waiting to escort her to the aisle.
"Hermione whispered to me that everything was all right," admitted Harry, " so that helped."
" I didn;t even get to see your reaction. Ron's too tall, the prat," giggled Ginny.
Neville had nudged Harry at the ceremony and he turned around to see the entire Weasley family at the head of the aisle. Unfortunately Ginny was at the back, and the smallest, so all he could see was her white dress.
Ron had escorted his mother down the aisle, seating her in the front pew before re-joining Harry and Neville. Molly smiled lovingly at Harry and he had smiled back.
Then came Bill and Charlie, and George and Percy, each slipping into the second row.
Finally Arthur and Ginny had come down the aisle, her eyes on him and him alone as she joined him at the front and they made vows to each other.
And when Kinglsey had asked who gave the bride, Arthur, Molly and her brothers had stood, stating it was Ginny's choice and they all supported her and Harry.
It was the happiest day of his life, so far.
"George said the idea came to him that morning, for my brothers to do that," revealed Ginny. "I actually thought it was such a Fred thing to do."
"Me too," admitted Harry. "Fred loved being in the spotlight, more than George, and what better place to steal it than at somebody's wedding," he quipped.
"Especially ours," she laughed. It always made her feel better to think about Fred like this.
"So," asked Harry, " framed or album?"
She looked at the special photo, and the love she had for her brothers;that special sibling bond they shared.
"Framed."
