After several reluctant trips on Aladdin's Magic Carpets and getting thoroughly soaked on Splash Mountain while Bucky and Dallas watched Denver, Steve led the Avengers towards Liberty Square. He was impressed they'd gotten all the way to the Hall of Presidents before Tony made an America joke about Steve.

"Cap, d'ya feel at home? We'll just leave you here with the founding fathers while the rest of us go have some real fun."

"Ha ha." Steve answered, rolling his eyes and looking to his left as Sam started leading them towards the haunted house, "Where you going?"

"Haunted Mansion. It's my sister's favorite ride, and a classic. We can't skip it." Sam argued, noting that Denver looked nervous, "Don't be scared Denny. It's fun. They are nice ghosts."

Steve took his daughter's hand and led her behind Sam and the Maximoffs into the line. She looked up at him with a quivering lip as Tony followed close behind with Natasha, "What are ghosts?"

"Well," Steve started, looking over to Dallas as she sucked in a sharp breath, "ghosts are what people become when they die. Kinda like a spirit."

"Like, when they go to Heaven?"

"Kinda before they go to Heaven." Steve decided, looking to Dallas to see if she agreed with his explanation, but she seemed unhappy with the situation altogether. Steve cleared his throat and raised his chin, smiling down at his little girl, "This is where the spirits hang out. They all come here before they move on."

Denver nodded as they walked, seemingly more okay with the idea of the Haunted Mansion the more she understood about it. They walked past the ghost buggy, and she tilted her head, then looked up at the house beyond, "Is Mommy a ghost?"

Looking to Dallas quickly and seeing her give a firm shake of her head, Steve explained, "No. Mommy went to Heaven. She isn't a ghost."

"What about Uncle Tony's Mommy and Daddy, are they ghosts?" Denver asked sincerely, and Steve's eyes grew so wide that they began to water. He cleared his throat and looked over at Tony, seeing the billionaire's brow raise questioningly as Denver continued, "Will we see them here? Or did they go to Heaven?"

"I'm sure they went to Heaven." Steve's voice broke as he knelt down and mussed up Denver's hair, "They were good people. They were in a car accident."

"I thought Uncle Bucky made them dead?"

The air felt like it was sucked from Steve's lungs at his daughter's words, and he looked up to see Tony fuming. His hands were clenched into fists and he was shaking from head to toe, glaring down at Steve in disdain. His voice shook as he slowly asked, "Rogers… why would she say that?"

Steve looked up at Bucky and Dallas, and Tony's gaze followed, finding the woman staring at Bucky fearfully as she took a step back, "Did you?"

Not a word left Bucky's mouth as Steve quickly stood and got between Tony and the couple, looking over his shoulder to see Rhodey cross his arms, "Tony, it's not like that-"

"So, it's true." Tony spat, quickly tapping on his watch and pulling a small repulser glove over his knuckles to aim at Barnes, "You killed my mom?"

"I-" Bucky started, looking to Dallas, "It was my mission. I couldn't stop. I didn't have control of my mind."

Tony blasted Bucky and sent him flying back as many of the guests around them screamed and ran away, while a few others pulled out their phones to film the fight between the Avengers. Wanda threw up a shield to protect the people behind Barnes from the fire as Stark stormed forward to get another hit in, but Steve grabbed Tony and pulled him away, discarding him in the opposite direction and knocking him into Vision. Natasha grabbed Tony's arm, trying to get his attention as he scrambled to his feet and started pulling towards Barnes again, "Stark, simmer down, we can't do this here."

"I don't care, that monster has been living under my roof, under my protection, and he murdered my parents. Do you even remember them?"

"I do now." Bucky choked out as Tony ripped his arm away from Natasha to get another shot on the super soldier, but Steve got in the way and took the hit to the shoulder, falling to his knees as Denver screamed. Pietro grabbed the little girl and zipped her through the line, setting her on the ground by the main doors of the mansion before zooming back to the fight in time to see Bucky grab Rhodey and throw the Colonel over his shoulder when Rhodes tried to choke him from behind. Bucky looked down at Rhodey as the older man groaned and rolled over, glaring up at him. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry…" Bucky looked to Dallas, seeing her jaw stiffen when his gaze fell on her, "My mind is still fuzzy. I didn't remember."

Tony shot both of Bucky's knees in quick succession and the Winter Soldier fell to the concrete. His girlfriend threw herself to his side, looking up at Tony with disdain as the Disney security officers appeared to stop the fight. Wanda threw up a shield between the Avengers and security, making sure nobody would get hurt in the fight. She looked from the officers to the cops that arrived with guns drawn on the group, "Guys…" She trailed off, her accent thick as she looked to Natasha for help.

"Stark, that's enough!" Natasha barked, but Tony ignored her as he loomed over Barnes, "You know it isn't that simple."

"I don't care." Tony snarled as Steve grabbed his calf, and Tony turned and aimed his gauntlet at the Captain, "Did you know?"

"I found out today. I didn't want to do this here." Steve admitted, lowering his head as he dropped his hand, "I didn't want to do this at all."

Tony turned back to Bucky, his fury burning through him as he prepared to shoot for the head, but Dallas stood and grabbed Stark's armed wrist. Natasha, Vision, and Rhodey all stepped forward in synch to stop Tony from killing Dallas, but she didn't even flinch at the realization she was at the other end of his weapon.

"Enough." She said quietly, gesturing around, "Before anybody gets seriously hurt."

"Move, Dallas." Tony sneered, but she shook her head, releasing her grip on his wrist. "No," she answered, "I get it. I really do, it sucks. Nick Fury killed my parents. You killed Wanda and Pietro's."

"Neither of those were intentional," Tony argued, lowering his hand and glaring down at Bucky, "It's different."

"Is it?" Dallas challenged, leaning around to get Tony to look at her and raising her voice when he continued to ignore her, "Your parents are dead! My parents are dead, their parents are dead, Steve's parents are dead, join the club! Bucky killed Denver's mom too, but you don't see her crying about it!"

Tony tapped his wrist and his gauntlet vanished back into his watch. He deflated a little and looked down at Steve, seeing the man panting on the ground as he clutched his shoulder. Looking to Dallas, then to the officers ready to arrest them, Tony said to Wanda, "Drop the barrier."

She did as she was told and the officers surrounded them in an instant. Pietro and Vision helped Steve to his feet and he turned, seeing Denver standing nearby quivering, "It's okay, baby."

"Uncle Bucky made Mommy dead?" She squeaked weakly, and Steve's soul cracked in his chest at how heartbroken she sounded. He took a shaky step towards her, and she took off sprinting under the ropes, darting into the crowd and away from her family.

"Denny!" Steve yelled, trying to push forward, but a couple of large police officers grabbed him by the shoulders causing him to wince in pain from his wound. He turned to a manager who was approaching cautiously.

"The Avengers can't just start a battle in the middle of Magic Kingdom." The manager said evenly, "We're going to need you guys to leave."

Dallas tried to dart but stubbed her boot on a stantion and swore under her breath, "You don't understand! My niece just ran off, we have to find her!"

The manager motioned for one of the security officers to come over and Dallas glared at them as they asked for Denver's information. She groaned and said to the officer, "Her name is Denver. She's two, blonde. Blue eyes and a Mickey Mouse shirt. You have to let us go find her."

"We'll find her, you can wait for her at guest relations but the rest of you are out."

"Her father is Captain America!" Dallas added loudly, and the officer stopped writing and looked up at Steve as he struggled against the cops holding him.

The security officer and the manager shared a nervous look, then the officer got on his radio and said, "Shut down the park. Nobody leaves until this is resolved. Blonde hair, two years old, name is Denver Rogers. Finding her is highest priority." He looked back at Dallas, "You all can wait at Guest Relations. We've got everyone in the park looking for her."

"You aren't going to find her." Steve's voice broke as he looked to Bucky, seeing his best friend absolutely crushed by what had transpired, "If she doesn't want to be found, she won't be."

Without saying anything, Pietro grabbed his sister and sped away from the other Avengers before he could be stopped, and Rhodey looked to Tony, "You okay, Tony?"

Stark rubbed his left forearm as he watched Natasha put her arms around Dallas to comfort the woman while Vision helped Bucky to his feet to follow behind the officers. Steve leaned his lower back against the bricks and placed his hand over his eyes, clearly crying as security urged them all to leave. Tony nodded a little and sighed, "Yeah, I'm alright."

Rhodey and Vision helped Bucky hobble into the back room at guest relations while Dallas frantically spoke to the manager running point on finding Denver, leaving Tony to watch as Natasha pressed a white towel to Steve's bleeding shoulder as he fretted.

"Where is she?" Steve asked Natasha, but the redhead just shushed him and leaned her weight against him to get the bleeding to stop. He hissed and looked over at Tony, causing the man to lower his head in shame, but Steve was too worried about his missing daughter to care that Tony had tried to kill him and his best friend. "I gotta get out of here and find her."

"Pietro and Wanda are out there somewhere, and we still haven't heard from Sam. Between the three of them, they'll find her, assuming Disney doesn't." Natasha assured Steve. She grabbed onto the back of his head as he leaned his forehead against her stomach, sighing against her as she stroked his hair. "We're gonna find her, Steve. I know it."

Dallas wandered over to Steve and collapsed onto the couch with him, leaning against his good shoulder. "They're still looking. Haven't found her yet, but they aren't letting anybody leave the park, so she won't get swept up in the crowds."

"Any word from the Maximoffs? Or Sam?" Natasha asked, but Dallas just shook her head.

"Nothing."

The women looked back towards the door as Sam Wilson followed one of the managers, placing his hands on his hips and huffing as he looked around, "I literally rode one ride. I was almost to the stretching room when I heard you all fighting, but they wouldn't let any of us out. How did you get kicked out of Disney World in less than ten minutes?"

"Barnes killed my parents." Tony grumbled and Sam tilted his head to look at Bucky, silently questioning how the hell that came up in line for a ride at Disney. Bucky ground his teeth together and looked down at his hands, clenching them together as Sam looked around.

"Where's Denny?"

"We don't know. She ran off." Dallas admitted, looking away, "I might have said Bucky killed her mom and she ran away."

Sam ran his hand over his face and turned to the woman who had escorted him in, "Can I go look for her? I wasn't a part of their tussle."

She looked at the broken-down Avengers, then to Sam and nodded, "You're free to go, but they have to stay."

"I'll look for her." Sam promised Steve as he turned and followed the manager out the door.

Nat's phone began to ring, and she rolled her eyes and answered, "Hey Clint, this isn't really a good time."

"Oh, isn't everybody having fun at Disney World? You know who would have probably really enjoyed Disney World? My kids. Who you all know exist? But no, Auntie Nat decided to forget about your best friend and family, and instead took Steve's kid to Disney World, before promptly getting arrested."

"Stark found out that Barnes killed his parents."

"Jesus…" Clint trailed off and Nat lowered her head, eyeing Tony as Clint continued, "Is everyone okay?"

"More or less. Stark shot out both of Bucky's legs. Steve took a hit to the shoulder. The only reason he isn't sprinting all over Disney right now is because Dallas told him he needed to stay still, or she'd drag his ass to the hospital."

Clint snorted, "Sounds like a fun time."

"Not really." Natasha hissed, looking around the room at the Avengers, "I gotta go."

Steve blew air out his mouth and threw his head back against the wall, seeing Bucky across the room from the corner of his eye, "I can't believe he killed Howard. We knew him."

Dallas chewed over this for a couple moments, massaging her temples and not saying anything. Natasha wandered away to speak with Tony, giving the two some time alone. Steve looked to Dallas and she finally broke, "Killing Brooklyn was an accident. I told myself that over and over again, and I accepted it for what it was, because Brooklyn was a bad person. She worked for bad people and did bad things, and I was angry at her for lying to all of us. Even now," Dallas sucked in a breath and spared a quick glance at Bucky, "I wonder if she knew, and she hid it from all of us, knowing full well that it would all implode eventually."

"You think she knew that he killed Howard?"

"Who the hell knows?" Dallas answered under her breath. She leaned her cheek against her palm, occasionally glancing over at her boyfriend to see his eyes trained on ground to avoid everybody's stares. "If she did, do you think she'd mention it? She'd keep it hidden to save her own ass. I know that much."

While Steve, Dallas, and the others waited impatiently for Sam or the Disney employees to find Denver, Pietro and Wanda were taking matters into their own hands. Pietro sped through the lines, dodging people at warp speed in an effort to look for the girl in every nook and cranny of the Magic Kingdom, while Wanda focused on finding the little girl by searching the minds of the people around her.

Pietro skidded to a stop next to her, panting as he leaned over to hold his knees, "Anything?"

"Nothing." Wanda huffed, looking around Frontierland until something caught her eye over the buildings, "Did you check the big tree?" He followed his sister's gaze to the Swiss Family Treehouse and sped towards it, running up the stairs several at a time before turning to see his sister floating upward, causing people around them to gasp and scream. Her eyes glowed red and she pointed towards the room at the top, and Pietro sped to it, peeking in and shaking his head at Wanda, but she settled onto her feet and looked closer before motioning for her brother to follow.

She peeked through the netting keeping people from going into the room, then noticed that a wooden beam in the small door had been snapped off, allowing a small opening for a small, crying child to sneak through.

"Denver?" Wanda called softly, placing her finger to her lips to tell Pietro to be quiet. "Denver, are you here?"

"No."

She looked to her brother and he leaned his back against the wooden door, nodding casually as he pretended not to hear her. "Well, Wanda, I guess we better keep on looking. We have to find her, since everyone is so worried."

Wanda looked down, seeing Denver peeking out behind Pietro's calves, so she answered loudly, "What will we do if we don't find her?"

"We won't stop looking until we do." Pietro answered, shifting to allow Denver the ability to exit her hiding spot, "Her father will never stop looking for her."

"None of us will."

"She has to be here somewhere." Pietro hummed, taking a step away and giving his sister the opportunity to see the small blonde hiding.

Wanda knelt down, smiling gently as Denver ducked back into the treehouse, "Pietro! I think I saw her! She's hiding in there!"

"In there?" He asked in fake shock, and Wanda nodded as Pietro knelt beside her, "C'mon Denny! Why you hiding?"

Denver grabbed onto the wooden poles of the door and leaned outward to see the Maximoffs. Her blue eyes were wet, and her lip wobbled as she sniffled, "Uncle Bucky made Mommy dead. He made her go to Heaven, and that's why she never comes home."

Wanda sat down and patted her thighs, and Denver crawled out to sit on her lap as Pietro stood and kept watch to make sure nobody would bother them, "I know. It's hard when mothers go to Heaven. Ours went to Heaven, too." Wanda explained quietly, eyeing her twin as he kept his gaze up, trying not to look angry.

After a moment of consideration, Denver asked, "Did Uncle Bucky make your Mommy go to Heaven?"

"No." Wanda said quickly, shaking her head, "Our parents were killed in a terrible accident." She looked up at Pietro and he swallowed, tossing his head to the side to get his shaggy white hair away from his eyes, "We can blame others for taking those we love, or we can forgive. Your Uncle Bucky didn't mean to hurt your mother, and he would never, ever hurt you."

"What is fogive?"

"It's when you aren't mad at somebody for making you angry or sad. It is something you do when you are ready to move past the pain caused."

Denver played with the hem of Wanda's thin red t-shirt. She stared at the fabric intently, as if deep in thought. Finally, she looked up, "Do you have a Daddy?"

"Our father was killed when our mother was." Wanda carefully told the child, shaking her head back and forth before adding, "You are very lucky. Your Dad loves you very much. Even though your mom is gone, you have so many people who love you, and will do anything to protect you. Including us."

Pietro grinned down at the child and scooped her up, zooming down to the bottom of the Swiss Family Robinson tree as she giggled, "Too fast!"

"Too fast? I think Wanda is too slow." He teased as Wanda floated down to stand beside them. Pietro looked down at Denver, then placed her on his shoulders, "What do you say we go find your Dad? Hmm? He's probably very worried about you. Your Aunt Dallas, too."

"And Uncle Bucky?"

Wanda met her brother's eyes, then reached up and squeezed Denver's hand, "He's probably the most worried of them all."

"Can we go slow?" Denver asked as she tugged on Pietro's hair harshly, "I don't wanna run no more."

He sighed loudly, smiling as he acquiesced, "Okay, but only for you." Wanda held her hand as they wandered towards the castle, taking their time as the people around them looked around in panic for Captain America's missing daughter.

"The Maximoffs have slowed down." Tony told Natasha as she stared at his holographic map, pointing to the dots, "They were stationary for a while over there, then haven't picked up speed since."

"They found her." Natasha said quietly, causing Steve's head to snap up before he staggered to his feet and ran to the hologram, looking where Nat was pointing, "Wanda and Pietro are coming this way, slowly. They most likely found her, or they'd still be zipping around."

Steve looked towards the door, but Dallas grabbed his arm, giving him a harsh tug, "Just follow directions. If they have her, they'll bring her here. Don't make this worse." She scolded, then looked over her shoulder to see Bucky still sulking in the corner, "I'm gonna talk to him." Steve responded by nodding, tapping his foot anxiously as he waited for someone to give him news about his daughter.

Allowing herself to fall into the plush magenta cushions of the couch beside Bucky, Dallas sighed loudly, "Stark thinks the twins found her." Bucky nodded, keeping his gaze low, and Dallas responded by placing her hand on his upper back, but he tensed at her touch. She leaned away in surprise, "What is it?"

"You told Denver I killed her mother." Bucky said quietly, unable to meet her gaze, "She's never going to trust me again."

Dallas gaped at this, suddenly realizing the long-lasting effects of her words. Everyone had been so worried about finding Denver that they hadn't considered how it would affect the way she saw the Avengers moving forward. "I- I didn't mean to. She loves you, and you love her. And it's different now. She'll understand that."

"Will she?" Bucky finally met Dallas's hazel eyes, "Will she understand that I didn't mean to take her mother away? That I had intended on killing her father instead and her mom died to save him?" Bucky dropped his head and let out a heavy sigh, "I'm the Winter Soldier. I have no business being with the Avengers, and especially around a little girl. I belong in a prison, or worse."

"Don't talk like that," Dallas hissed, "That wasn't you. You couldn't control your actions."

"I still did it. I killed Stark's parents. You know the worst part? I knew Howard. I knew him and I watched him die…" Bucky's voice broke and he looked over to see Tony speaking with Rhodey and Vision, "I choked his mother until she died against my palm. I didn't even use the metal arm."

Dallas swallowed hard and grabbed his right hand, pulling it into her lap and squeezing it, "If you had the choice to say no, you would have. If you remembered who you were, you wouldn't have done any of it. You're free now, and you belong here with us."

Bucky scoffed and she leaned away to glare at him, so he cleared his throat and explained, "You looked at me like a monster when you heard what I'd done. And you were so flippant about outing me as Brooklyn's murderer. It hurt."

"James…I…" Dallas huffed, holding his hand tighter and closing her eyes, "I love you." When he looked at her, she continued, "You are so good to me, and to Denny, and to Steve, and to everybody. The world has been cruel to you, but you are good. If I was flippant about my sister's death, it was because I don't deal well with feelings. Not anymore- not about her." She pursed her lips, noticing Steve perk up when the door opened to allow him into the hallway, "It's easier to say she deserved it, because she was a liar, and a killer, and she knew exactly what she was doing, unlike you."

"Brooklyn was the only friend I had." Bucky's chest tightened and he shifted uncomfortably, "They'd try to wipe my mind, and she'd convince them not to. She's the reason my head isn't more scrambled than it already is. If she hadn't been around, I don't know what would have happened to me."

"She knew who you were, and she didn't try to save you."

"It wasn't that simple." Bucky admitted, looking up when Nat called to Dallas. He patted her leg before she stood, and took her hand to kiss it, "Do you really love me?"

"I think so, yeah." Dallas said casually as she used her free hand to ruffle Bucky's hair, earning a real smile from him, "We'll talk more about this later."

He nodded, pushing himself to his feet to slowly follow as the other Avengers filed out after Dallas.

When Denver saw her dad on the steps of guest relations, she broke away from Wanda's hand and sprinted towards him, tackling her father as he let himself fall backwards to catch her, "Denny! I was so scared, are you okay?" He asked frantically as he pushed back her hair to look at her eyes, "Denny, you said you wouldn't run away."

She looked over to Wanda and Pietro as they reached them, then to Sam as he jogged up beside them, "I was real sad."

Steve released the breath he'd been holding and pulled his daughter into his chest for a hug, "I know, but you can't run away, baby. I was so scared they weren't going to find you."

"Wanda and Peeto found me."

"Thank you." Steve told the twins, then looked over his shoulder as Dallas barrelled towards them, dropping to her knees in front of Steve to grab the girl.

"Denver, what were you thinking?" She yelped as she swayed back and forth with the little girl in her arms, "We were so scared, Denny."

"I'm sorry." Denver answered into Dallas's hair, her gaze lifting to see Natasha, Tony, Rhodey, and Vision coming down the steps. "I won't run way again. I promise."

"You better not." Dallas hissed, pulling away and grabbing Denver's cheeks before looking at Steve, "Let's get back to the hotel and pack. Since, ya know, we've been kicked out of Disney World."

Steve carefully picked up Denver and she poked at his hurt shoulder, but he hid his grimace well. He started carrying her towards the exit of the park while Dallas thanked the cast members profusely. When they went under the train station though, Denver tugged on her dad's shirt collar, "Daddy, I need to get down."

He narrowed his eyes at her, shaking his head, "No. Not after the stunt you pulled, I'm carrying you back to the hotel."

"But Daddy, Uncle Bucky is sad." Denver said quietly, and Steve turned around, seeing his best friend walking behind the rest of the team with his hands in his pockets and his head down. Steve noticed that Dallas stayed close by Bucky's side, but he didn't even look at her.

Steve lowered his daughter, then motioned towards Bucky with her head to give his daughter permission. She darted past Vision's legs and ducked under Sam's arm before reaching Bucky and throwing her arms around his legs, causing him to wobble a little as pain radiated through his kneecaps.

He looked down at her, then to Dallas, but before he could say or do anything, Denver began to babble, "Uncle Bucky, don't be sad. We fogive you for making Mommy dead."

"We do." Dallas assured Bucky, looking up to see Tony Stark staring at them with a tense expression.

"No." Tony spat, starting to walk away before turning and adding with a groan, "But I know you didn't do it on purpose. So, you can stay. Just… stay away from me."

Bucky nodded, reaching down and picking up Denver to carry the child so they could leave the theme park at a decent pace. They caught up with Steve, and he slung his arm around Bucky's shoulder as they left the Magic Kingdom behind. It was, unfortunately, time to go back to the real world.

Author's Note- I have now posted everything I have pre-written, so it'll probably be slow going for a while. (I need to catch up posting my other story as well, so if you follow me as an author you'll see that getting caught up as well!) If you've found part 2 of this story a little fluffy, don't worry, the fluff is about to end with the arrival of Civil War. If you thought their Disney fight would replace Civil War, you'd be mistaken, it's only the beginning...

Leave me a review, I love to hear from you all!
