Sebastian's POV
I walk with Ida through the wheat fields to the Homecoming game. I look down at her as she talks.
"What are you looking at?" she says in a wistful tone.
"You," I hear a laugh behind us, and I turn to see an annoyed-looking Delilah, Daisy, and Abby.
Delilah pulls Ida away from me, Abby gets in between me and Ida, and Daisy rolls her eyes in disgust. I look at Ida with a pained look in my eyes. She giggles, and all of the others begin walking to the game together, dragging me along behind them. We finally make it to the game and get seats on the risers. The girls start talking about who knows what while Peter and I talk about how we know nothing about football. The game starts, and we all watch as the sun starts to set. Ida snuggles close to me as it grows colder, then asks for a water. I stand up to run to the concessions stand, but I make a detour to the restrooms. I stand in front of the mirror, washing my hands, when a cloaked figure comes out from behind me. I turn around as the figure pulls down their hood.
"Isaiah?" I stare in surprise.
"Yes, if you tell my sister, I will not hesitate to murder you. And close your mouth, you look like a codfish."
I slam my wide-open mouth shut and look at him in disbelief.
"I thought you were-" he clamps a hand over my mouth and sighs.
"God, I forgot you were so talkative." he puts a cloth over my face, and I feel my eyes start to close.
