Balto and Jenna emerged from the foliage into a nearby clearing. They came up to the nearby tree, where they then paused next to the large root of the tree which protruded from the ground. They looked back through the foliage. There was no sign of Jack and Elsa or of Hans's men. The gun fire had also seemed to have stopped as well.

Balto glanced to Jenna.

"I think we lost them." He said.

Jenna turned back to the foliage. She was still worried about Jack and Elsa. With the sudden absent of gunfire, she wondered what might have happened. Did they escape? Were they alright?

Balto came up the tree, narrowing his head as he groan. His body was still aching from being kicked in the ribs by one of Hans's men. Though despite the pain, he and Jenna were able to escape from Hans's men. Balto had been hurt before and in much dangerous situations then this. Though now that it seemed they had lost them, the pain was no longer something he could bear.

Jenna turned to him.

"Balto?" She said as she came up next to him.

"I'm alright," He insisted to her.

"I'm fine."

It was right at that moment they heard voices and the rustling of foliage. Balto raised his head, his ears erect as he listened. He slowly crept out from behind the root, where he scanned the foliage. He then heard the foliage rustling off to his left. Balto cocked his head, where he saw two men who had attacked them emerged from the brush.

Balto gasped. He quickly hid back behind the tree root, glancing back at Jenna.

"Shh." He said to her.

Jenna raised her eyes as she peered over the tree root. It was there she saw the men that attacked them back where they found Jack and Elsa. She gasped as she quickly hid back behind the root. Balto turned forward. He slowly crept forward and peered around the corner of the tree root. It was there he saw the others emerge from the jungle in the opposite direction.

"Did you find them?" Walker asked.

The others shook their heads.

"We lost them downstream."

Jenna uttered a sigh of relief upon hearing him say that.

"Keep looking," the one in charge proclaimed.

"We're not going back until we find them!"

There was the a sudden sound of static from the radio at his side.

"Walker, come in." Hans's voice said over the radio.

Walker reached down and grabbed his radio from odd his belt, holding it up.

"Yeah?"' Walker answered.

"Change of plans," Hans said over the radio.

"The others found out about our plan. They escaped into the jungle, we need you and the others back at camp, now!"

"Copy that!" Walker said, placing the radio down over his belt.

"You heard the boss!"

Balto came back behind the tree root. He turned back to Jenna.

"We need to get back to the others." he insisted to her.

"But what about Jack and Elsa?" Jenna asked, curiously.

"We'll find them, Jenna," Balto insisted to her.

"But right now, the others are now in danger. We have to find them."

Jenna narrowed her eyes. She wanted to find Jack. But if Anna and the others were in trouble, then they had to find them.

She glanced up at Balto and nodded her head to him. The two then turned and scurried off into the jungle.

Trekking through the foliage, Anna suddenly noticed the strange and sudden silence that befallen the jungle. As if all the sounds that they had acquainted the jungle with had all but ceased in a moments time. She suddenly felt uneased, glancing all around at the thick jungle around them. There was no sign of Hans's men. Nor any animal for that matter.

They were no more then a mile from where they set up camp. Yet even still, she couldn't shake that feeling that they were being followed.

"Anna, stay close!" Ingrid called from ahead.

She then turned forward to Kristoff and Tadashi and the others, who were walking ahead of her. She quickly rushed to keep up with them. She came up behind Kristoff before glancing back in the direction they came.

"Do you think they're following us?" She asked, glancing up at him.

Kristoff and Tadashi each looked down to her. They each glanced back in the direction they came, both sharing the same nervous feeling that they were being followed. And given that Hans had hired highly trained mercenaries, it wasn't a stretched that at least a few of them knew how to track and game.

"There's a chance." Tadashi proclaimed to them.

"That's what worries me." Kristoff said, turning forward.

Anna narrowed her head. She couldn't stop thinking about Jack. She wandered if he knew what was really going on. About what Hans was really planning. Was he somewhere safe?

"I hope Jack's okay." Anna said.

"Hey, don't worry," Kristoff said, placing his hand over her shoulder.

"I'm sure Jack's fine. Especially if he's with that jungle woman."

Anna narrowed her head. She saw what happened the other day when they saw that jungle woman, what she did to Hans's men. If Jack really was with her, then he was the safest he could ever be.

"Yeah, your right." she said in relief.

"Yeah, about that," Tadashi then intervened.

"What exactly are we supposed to do when we find them."

Kristoff and Anna turned to him.

"What do you mean?" Anna asked, curiously.

"I mean, how are we going to get her to understand us?" Tadashi insisted to them.

"This girl has no doubt spent her entire life in the jungle. She probably has no concept of the human language. And after yesterday, I think it's clear she's display animalistic behaviour."

Kristoff and Anna glanced to each other, seeing the point he was making. They both forgot how feral and savage this girl was. Even if they find her and Jack, how were they going to get her to listen?

Anna narrowed her head, pondering about what they were going to do. When she then widened her eyes as a sudden realization then came to her.

"Maybe we don't have to." She claimed to them.

Kristoff and Tadashi glanced to her, curiously.

"What do you mean?" Kristoff asked.

"Remember when she attacked us yesterday." Anna pointed out to them.

"Yeah?" Kristoff said, squinting his eyes.

"She looked at me," Anna insisted to them.

"She said my name."

Ingrid glanced back at the three, overhearing what they were saying. Much of was quite concerning to say the least.

"She knows who I am," Anna proclaimed to them.

"Which means Jack must have told her about me and if he has his camera..."

Kristoff and Tadashi narrowed their eyes, pondering over what she had said. They both recalled that girl saying Anna's name. And if Jack was with her, there stood the possibility that maybe he may have his camera with him. Jack might have tried to civilize her by showing her photos. Maybe he was trying to convince her to lead him back to them. If so, she might already know that they were friendly.

They widened their eyes in realization.

"Hey, yeah," Kristoff said, glancing to Tadashi.

"Jack might have shown her some photo's of us. Maybe he was trying to teach her things. You know, make her understand."

Tadashi narrowed his head.

"I guess it's possible," Tadashi said, glancing back to them.

"But it takes more then just showing photo's to civilize someone. It takes much longer then just a day."

Kristoff rubbed the back of his head, while Anna glanced to the side.

"Right." Kristoff then said, knowing what he meant.

Ingrid then turned forward as she contemplated all she had heard. Things were a lot worse then she had realized. First she attempts seeks out a mate and now she was beginning to speak the language of man. She couldn't let this go one any further. In all the time she had been in mans world, she had learned the hearts of man were tainted with lies and greed. It was something she had learned long ago.

She couldn't bear to let the same thing happened to her.

She belonged to the jungle and he was of Man's world. They could never be together. And she would handle once they find them.

North brushed aside the foliage with his rifle as he Mund came out into the clearing. Anna and the others came up behind them, where they saw narrow river stream before a water fall.

"Where are we?" Anna asked, glancing to her uncle and Mund.

"Looks like we're at the ravine." Mund said.

North whipped the sweat from his forehead, sighing in exhaustion. Anna and Tooth turned to him.

"Uncle North?" Anna said.

"I'm alright, sweaty," he reassured his niece.

"Just tired. I am not as Young as I used to be."

Tooth glanced back to Ingrid and everyone else. Both Kristoff and Tadashi seemed exhausted as well. They had been wondering the jungle for hours now and were miles from camp. there's still no sign of Jack. Even with the mercenaries after them, they couldn't keep going on like this. They needed some time to rest. At least, for a short while.

"I think we could all use a break." Tooth insisted to them.

North frowned as he narrowed his head in agreement. While he wanted to find Jack as much as his niece and her friends, they shouldn't push themselves anymore then they already have.

"Alright." He said as he walked over to the ravine.

Anna turned to her uncle, as he came up over to the banks of the river. He got down over one knee and reached his hand down into the shallow rushing stream, scoop some water into the palm of his large hand. He then splashed it over his face as he breathed a sigh of relief. He then glanced down at his own reflection, where he sighed and narrowed his eyes. Seeing the man looking back at him, his hair and beard so long and white with the top of his head completely bald. It was all but a reminder of all the years he had wasted, chasing a dream that promised such fame and fortune for his family.

But only brought pain to himself and those he'd loved.

Anna came up next to her Uncle and narrowed down next to him. She turned to her uncle, noticing the sadden gaze over his face.

"Uncle North?" She asked.

North then turned his head and glanced to his young niece. He paused for a moment. Seeing his young niece, who was once that small child he once held in his two large hands, now a beautiful young woman, North finally saw the truth of Jack's words. The things he had missed in his pursuit for some urban legend he heard from his grandfather. He narrowed his eyes, bowing his head as he sighed.

"I'm sorry, Anna." he then said, glancing to her.

"For what?" Anna asked, curiously.

"I've been a terrible Uncle to both of you." He said, glancing to the side.

Anna was shocked upon hearing him say that.

"All these years, I was caught up in this dream," North said, peering down at his reflection.

"That I could be like my great Grandfather. That I could prove to the world his discovery was real. And I forgot about you, Jack, your mother..."

North closed his eyes, bowing his head.

Anna frowned at what her Uncle had said.

"I never meant to neglect you," North insisted to her.

"All I've ever wanted was to do something that could make you and Jack proud to call me your Uncle. I just hope when all of this is over, you two can forgive me."

Anna frowned as she shook her head in disbelief. How could he say something that?

She never thought anything less of her Uncle. Despite all his mistakes, she had always been proud to call him his Uncle. He never needed to do anything to make her proud to call him so.

Anna came up to her Uncle, placing her hand over his shoulder. North turned to her Niece who the came up and wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him tight. He glanced down at her, surprised by his niece's sudden affection.

"Of course I can." Anna proclaimed to him.

North was both in disbelief and joyous to hear his niece say that. That even after all the mistakes he had made, she still found it in her heart to forgive him. He closed his eyes, wrapping his large arms around her as he held her tight. Tooth looked down at the two of them, smiling as she placed her hand over her chest.

Anna and North then parted from each other, smiling at each other. North wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Thank you," He said to her.

"I promise, I'll make it up to both of you. I'll be the uncle you need me to be."

North then felt a hand over his shoulder. he glanced up and saw Tooth standing next to him.

"We both will." Tooth proclaimed to her.

Anna smiled up at her Uncle and Aunt.

"Your always were." She insisted to them.

North glanced down to his rifle laying next to him. He reached down and grabbed hold of it, taking it in both hands as he stood up. This time, he wouldn't go back on his word. This was a promise that he would keep to his family, no matter what it took.

North, Anna and Tooth came up to where Kristoff, Tadashi and Ingrid were resting.

"Everyone up," North said.

"It's time to get moving."

Kristoff and Tadashi stood up off the ground.

"Hang on," Tadashi said.

"We can't just be wandering around the jungle hoping we find Jack."

Kristoff nodded his head in agreement.

"Tadashi's right," He said, turning to them.

"Hans is still looking for us. If we're not careful we could run right into them."

Anna and North glanced to one another, knowing they were right. But without Balto, it would be hard for them to track where he and the wild woman.

"Uh, North," Mund called to them from the waterfall.

"I think you should see this."

North, Anna and the others turned back to Mund. It was there they saw him standing in front of what looked to be a small cave next to the waterfall. It looked as if he found something. Was it Jack?

The group rushed over to him.

"Mund, what is it?" North said as he came up behind him.

Mund came out of the cave, holding something in his hands. It looked like a camera. Anna gasped as she came up and took it from him.

"It's Jack's!" She exclaimed, turning to Kristoff and Tadashi.

"Jack was here!" Kristoff said.

Mund glanced back into the cave and saw the bundle of banana's that were still laying inside.

"Looks like it." he said.

"Quick, look around," Anna said.

"Maybe they left a trail, something for us to follow."

Everyone spread out into the clearing as they looked for any sort of trail. When suddenly her heard rustling in the foliage ahead. Anna and Kristoff glanced up to the foliage off to their left. They saw the leaves and palms rustling in the jungle, as if something was moving toward them.

"Uncle North." Anna said as she glanced back to.

North came up in front of Anna, holding up his rifle. He slowly crept forward, peering forward at the foliage. The leaves and palms shook as something passed through the jungle foliage. It was getting closer. Though he couldn't make out whether it was one of Hans's men or an predator lurking nearby.

Mund came up next to him.

"What is it?" Mund asked, glancing to him.

North shook his head.

"I don't know." He said.

Kristoff came in front of Anna, who hid behind him. North held up his rifle, taking aim for the rustling foliage. Placing his finger firmly over the trigger, he prepared to take the shot at whatever would appear.

When a familiar husky hybrid appeared from the foliage along with a pure red and white one. Anna gasped in awe.

"Jenna!" She said as she came out from around Kristoff.

North sighed in relief as he lowered his riffle.

"Balto!" Ingrid said as she came passed him and Mund

Jenna barked as she came up to Anna, who kneeled down to her.

"We were so worried about you," Anna claimed, placing her hands on both side of her back.

"Where have you been?"

Jenna uttered a whimper to Anna, much like how she did back home when she was scared.

"What is it, girl?" Anna asked, curiously.

Jenna glanced back in the direction she came, continuing to whimper. Anna glanced up toward the jungle ahead. She must be trying to tell them something. Was there something that scared her?

Tooth came up behind her niece.

"What is it?" She asked curiously.

Anna shook her head.

"I don't know," She said, turning back to her Aunt.

"She seems scared."

Ingrid was leaning down to Balto as he listened to what he saying. She then glanced up passed the husky hybrid, peering ahead through the jungle. She then stood up in front of Balto as she turned to the others.

"They're nearby!" she exclaimed to them.

Everyone turned to Ingrid.

"What?" Kristoff asked, curiously.

"The mercenaries," Ingrid insisted, turning to them.

"They're close!"

"What?!" Anna exclaimed as she stood up.

"How do you know?" Kristoff asked.

"Balto is distributing weary behaviour," Ingrid insisted to them.

"He senses danger nearby."

Anna glanced nervously to her Aunt, who took her in her arms. Kristoff and Tadashi looked to one another, both of them shocked at what she said.

"What do we do?" Kristoff asked, curiously.

Anna glanced down to Jack's camera. With Balto back, it means that they could use his sense of smell to help find Jack. She came up to Balto and kneeled down to him.

"Balto," she said, holding out Jack's camera.

"We need you to help us find Jack."

Balto came up and sniffed the camera. He then cocked his head, sniffing the air as he caught whiff of Jack's scent. Not just his but Elsa's as well. They were leading off back into the jungle in the direction they came. Though was hesitant knowing that the Mercenaries were still out there. He glanced back to Ingrid, who nodded her head to him.

Balto turned back to Anna and barked to her. He then turned and scurried into the brush. Anna stood up and pointed at him.

"Follow that dog!" She exclaimed.
