A/N: 60,000 hits! Oh yeah! Also side note... I started another Star VS anime crossover since then. It actually is something of a spiritual antithesis. Especially when it comes to Mewberty... that story's plan to deal with Mewberty was to lock her up until they can set her loose in a controlled environment but it all goes wrong... while in this one it's "Let's just set her loose on people we don't like!"... fanfics are funny that way... anyways enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 67: Brothers VS Boyfriend

After moving back to Mewni something had changed between Star and Tom. There was an annual tradition for the royalty of Mewni called the Silver Bell Ball. During it Star and Tom managed to talk things through and seemed to be getting along again.

And then Tom had done a Demoncisim… something done to demons to get rid of their rage…

As it was extremely painful and would be something that would have to be a regular thing for years, he realized he can't do quick fixes any more…

And this also led to the two getting back to together…

However Star knew that she had to tell her brothers eventually about the turn of events.

Something she knew they wouldn't be happy about…

But she knew she had to tell them.

So she had the three for a big lunch just the four of them.

"Star… what are you hiding?" asked Sabo as they ate lunch.

"Oh just some things…" said Star.

Luffy didn't pay attention as he was eating, but Ace and Sabo looked at each other.

"Star…" said Ace.

Star sighed and knew she had to come clean, after all that was what this lunch was about…

"I've gotten back together with Tom…" said Star.

There was an awkward silence.

Luffy started to choke on his food while both Sabo and Ace yelled out "WHAT!"

"Look… he's trying to change… he'll do better this time…" said Star.

"Are you serious?" asked Sabo.

"I am…" said Star.

"Star…" sighed Ace.

"I know you don't like him…" said Star.

"He's done a lot of really bad things…" said Sabo.

"But he's trying to change… so…" said Star.

"This is because Marco's dating Jackie isn't is it?" asked Ace.

Star scoffed and then said "No… of course not. I support Marco. I even provided him with a magic carpet for his date today…"

"What?" asked Sabo.

"Oh Marco wanted a special date with Jackie that's a reference to an earth movie." Said Star with a shrug.

Meanwhile somewhere on earth in the skies. Jackie and Marco were having their date…

"So you don't know the lyrics of A Whole New World…" said Marco .

"Sorry…" admitted Jackie .

"It's fine…" Marco laughed nervously.

"Really?" asked Jackie .

"Really." Said Marco .

He was a bit disappointed but figured that might happen…

Back in Mewni…

"So you're not saying that Tom is the rebound guy?" asked Sabo.

"Of course not… we are legitimately dating." Said Star.

The three bothers looked at each other.

After all Star didn't know about what happened at the Blood Moon Ball.

She didn't know what he tried to do to her… and what he ended up doing to her and Marco adapt accidently.

"Look… UI think you three and Tom need to spend the day together." Said Star.

She saw the looks on their faces.

"I know you don't want to spend time with him…" said Star.

"I want to kick his ass for what he did!" yelled Luffy.

Star sighed.

"Just please try have a fun day with him… for me…" said Star.

"Fine…" muttered the three.

"Good… because I'm going to beat your asses if you don't." said Star, "And I know how to too!"

The three brothers all nodded in agreement with their little sister…

Though that didn't mean they couldn't have work arounds.

A few days later was the day they were hanging out.

Of course things were very tense as they just walked around.

It was a very tense silence among the three.

"So…" said Tom trying to make small talk, "Are we going to go on an adventure where we bond or are we just going to walk around and say everything is fine between us."

"What do you think?" asked Ace.

Tom sighed…

He should have known.

"Okay! Here's an idea! We find a place. Luffy and Sabo each get one free shot while Ace gets several!" said Tom.

"How is that fair"! yelled Luffy who wanted to hit Tom multiple times.

"Because it would be easier hiding Ace's damage from Star than yours." Said Tom.

"It's because of fire…" said Sabo.

"It's because of fire…" admitted Tom.

They all knew they had to get it out of their system.

They went to a sport nearby where no one was and the three brother got their hits in .

"Okay! No in the face and not hitting below the belt." Said Tom.

Luffy was first deliver a really strong Gum Gum Pistol to the gut.

Sabo was next slapping his pipe also into his stomach.

Ace however just wailed on him with fiery punches taking advantage of his ability to hit him more than once… even hitting him many times with actual solid punches .

"All right! All right that's enough!" begged Tom.

"Fine…" muttered Ace.

"Okay… we're cool now?" asked Tom.

"Shawn! You really screwed up…" said Luffy glaring at him.

"The name is Tom…" sighed Tom.

And he didn't like the glare that Luffy was giving him… it was just wrong.

"We're letting you off easy because we know…" said Sabo.

"That was easy…" said Tom.

"How long do you think the relationship is going to last?" asked Sabo.

Tom didn't say anything from that.

"She in love with Marco and I think Marco is just realizing his own feelings soon." Said Sabo.

Tom flinched.

"She's going to dump you sooner or later." Pointed out Ace.

Tom sighed, he knew he was just the rebound guy… that sooner or later they would break up again…

Tom sighed at that.

"So you're going to be civil at least?" asked Tom.

"We will." said Sabo.

"But you do eventually have to tell Star." Said Luffy .

"I know…" sighed Tom.

He looked at the three.

"You know I'm surprised you're not mad at Marco." Said Tom trying to change the subject.

"Before then Marco's been nothing but a good friend." Said Sabo.

"We went on so many adventures together before then!" said Luffy.

Tom sighed.

"Yeah… he's a good friend." Said tom.

"he tell us you guys have become friends." Said Sabo.

The two did indeed become friends bonding over a shared love of the boy band Love Sentence and him devolving a love of Mackie Hand a martial arts movie actor that Marco loved and he inadvertently got Tom into after an indent that had to do with his anger management.

"Yeah…" sighed Tom.

"Like Luffy said you do have eventually tell them." Said Sabo.

Tom nodded.

"Okay…" said Tom.

"So what are we going to tell Star?" asked Ace knowing that Tom wasn't going to tell them anything about that day.

"That we went on an adventure but it wasn't instant healing experience." Said Sabo with a shrug.

"That is a good option I guess." Sighed Tom.

The brothers nodded in agreement.

Sometime later they got the castle.

"So how was the day…" said Star noticing the four.

"Come on!" said Luffy, "You got to meet that old queen lady! She's awesome!" said Luffy leading them away so that Star could talk to Tom alone.

"Who?" asked Ace.

"Eclipsa… turns out she's alive." Said Sabo.

"Huh… weird…" said Ace.

Once they were alone.

"So how was your day together?" asked Star.

"It was okay…" sighed Tom.

"They haven't forgiven you yet." Said Star.

"Yeah…" said Tom.

"I think they're just being dan overprotective after that incident…" muttered Star.

"You know you haven't told me what happened that made you swear more…" said Tom.

"Still not in the mood to tell you…" said Star.

"Okay… that's kind of fair." Sighed Tom.

"Don't' worry I know one day you two can get along…" said Star.

"yeah… totally…" said Tom.

Tom inwardly sighed… as he knew that there was a chance none of them would forgive him anytime soon let alone get along.

After all he did really screw up Star and he hoped that he could hold on the relationship for as long as possible… even with what he invertedly placed on Star and Marco…

He just hoped that the tow would forgive him when he finally came clean about it…
