Killing Time and Space

Both Jade and Smoke rush toward Khronos. Khronos quickly wrap, making it seem everything is upside down to them. Khronos making it also that she was in the front but in actually she was attacking from behind them. She strikes them from back hoping she get them in the back hoping she get them in the heck. But much to Khrono's shock they block her attack.

"What?!"

"the same trick isn't going work on me twice." Smoke said

"and I'm immune to your space wrapping. Delia knew about you. You were in her one of her possibility." Jade said then she shadows kick Khronos away from them. Khronos didn't notice that Smoke turn into smoke as he faze through her in order to get behind her to strike her in the back. Khronos hissed in pain. She tries to twisted around to attack Smoke, but Smoke quickly grabs her arm and with a powerful strike her cut off Khrono's arm

"that was pay back for my arm."

Khronos was about to attack Smoke out of anger but was strike from above on the head by Jade.

"And that was for possessing me and toying with my memories." Jade said

Khrono's head was in a head spin. Still in a mortal badly. It will get infected with damage that wouldn't normally affect her.

Khronos stomp the ground to make numbers of spike pop up from the ground

"Quickly! Dodge!" Smoke warned Jade knowing that these things are really hard to dodge. Jade nodded and fazed through most of spike so did Smoke.

"Y-You damn worms think you can beat me?!" Khronos roar as she did, she release a energy blast from her remaining arm that Zigzag making it more hard to dodge them. Knowing that her faze won't last forever. Jade spins her pole reflect the beams back at Khronos. Khronos quickly saw this and threw he4r needle at her own beam. While she doing that Khronos didn't noticed Smoke appear from behind her. Khronos was able sense him and before he strikes, tendril appear from her cut off arm and swapping Smoke away.

Khrono's body was getting more unstable by the second. She of figure much since it a clone body and doesn't really have develop soul so it much easier to control compare to the time she possesses Jade's body. Khrono's have time to dwell or it as both kept recklessly attacking her. Khronos thought of one opinion: destroy the hourglass. That way if she dies, she'll take all these insects with her. she refuses let them win her pride wouldn't aloud it.

Khronos quickly ran to the hourglass, both Jade and Smoke saw this and ran at hourglass. When Khronos made if to the Hourglass and was about Smash it till Smoke came up and cot off her remaining arm.

That was it. Khronos knew she had lost, but she refuses to lose to them. Do to her being very weak her, Smoke and Jade back to Kronika's time room with the other looking at them with shock that they return.

"I guess my arrogance got the better of me. HAHA!" Khronos laughed, too much to Jade and Smoke surprised but it disturbed them. "I guess it time to end this show." Before anyone could react Khronos send an energy blast to the hourglass. Everyone eyes widen as it breaks the hourglass.

"Call me a 'swore loser' but I refuse to let those creatures that traitor made live! I watch from far outside the realm while drown in despair!" Khronos said as her body finally break apart, black goo began melting her body, Khronos gave one last look at Smoke

"Well, little worm. I wish you luck, but even that won't save you." Khronos said as she melts away.

Other try to figure out what to do now. The whole room is shacking and feel distorted as if they were all look at nuclear reactor going into meltdown.

"Shit! She destroys the hourglass!" Juki said not knowing what do. She knows the hourglass is like a main pillar of an unstable plane. If it goes, then all will go.

"Kronika!"

Everyone turns to see a new person in the room. The man was dark skin man. Who eyes were glowing similar to Kronika and Khronos.

"Geras?" said wondering why he here and how he got here, but that doesn't matter now as she saw that Geras had the crown with him. The crown that Kronika was waiting for.

Geras was so distraction that his creator's head was on the floor to notice other people was also was in the room. His eye landed on Juki. At first, thinking that she was the one who did it. But judging how weak she looks, it highly unlikely she was the cause. He then turns to the hourglass. The sand in hourglass was pure black as if someone had poison it. And Judging how unstable its, it will soon will explode and destroy all the realms with it.

"Geras! You have to give the crown to Jade!" Juki said, snapping Geras back to reality.

"How is Jade going to solve this?!" Raiden asked

"She the only elder god left and the closes to Kronika's power. Unless you have any bright idea in the next second, she the best we got!"

"Agree with this notion." Juki and Raiden turn to Geras who said this. Geras isn't dumb. Knowing he doesn't have many opinions since his master is not here and he must protect the hourglass. The next thing that he was created. He threw the crown to Jade who caught it wondering what to do.

"Put on the crown, Jade you should be able to control the hourglass and make it stable again." Geras said

"I don't have enough power to stabilize it but you…I don't know how you were able to get your hands on this power but your only one left. My duty is to protect Kronika and the hourglass. I fail one but I won't fail the other." Geras said in the stern voice. Even with that for some odd reason he had faith in Jade.

Jade turn to everyone and they nodded agreeing with Geras had said

"I know you can do it Jade."

Jade turn to Smoke who was the one who said that.

"It funny. I feel I should be nerves know the faith of all our existing rest on me but…" Jade then put on the crown and blast of pure come off of her. she was glowing more brightly. "If feel like I know what to do it." Jade then put both hand on the hourglass. She pours same energy into it. Her hands felt like they were on fire. Like she was dipping her in acid. Whatever what Khronos did to the hourglass, she wanted to make sure that no one can fix what she did. Jade grunted pour power into the glass, but it was as if the hourglass was fighting back. As it had began to turn Jade's hand black and it was crawling up her arm.

"Jade!" Kitana and Milena cry out see that their friend was in trouble and was going to help them but both Sindel and Sub-Zero held them back not wanting them to be caught up in this, Raiden and Juki were also getting worry. Knowing she was the last hope.

Smoke was also worry seeing how much pain that inflecting on Jade. Smoke wondering what he could do for Jade, then he remembers what Khronos had said:

"You our the last remint of the one being"

"this it!" Smoke thought, knowing he have a piece of The One Being in him. Smoke put his hand in the hourglass too much to everyone shock. When Smoke put his hand in the hourglass, it felt like it was on fire and at the same time it felt like he was touch Sub-Zero but ten time worse.

Both Jade and Smoke struggle to purify the sand. At first nothing was happening, but soon a light appears inside the hourglass. It was small but soon grew bigger. The white light soon consumes everything in the room. When the light depleted back to the hourglass. The hourglass turns back to normal with white and no creaks.

"They did it!" Kitana, Mileena, and Sub-Zero exclaimed happy the hourglass is back to normal. Sub-Zero, Kitana, and Mileena rush toward Jade and Smoke see if they ok. When the got to them. Jade appears normal except her eye which have a blue with green hue to them.

"Jade, your god power…" Kitana said sense that Jade's present went back normal.

"The 'god power I had was temporarily. Its true purpose was cleaning the hourglass from all of its impurities. It was poison by not only Khronos's meddling but Kronika's countless rests.

Jade realizes something

"Smoke?" Jade turn to Smoke who was right next to her the last thing she remembers. She and the other turn to see Smoke's unconscious body on the ground

"Tomas!" Sub-Zero and Jade rush to Smoke side. Kitana and Mileena also join in, when they got to Smoke, they try to touch him, but he was hot to the touch. Even with his ice power, Sub-Zero couldn't do anything.

"What going on?" Jade said wondering

"He has one last battle to overcome."

Everyone turns Juki who said that. She knows full well what happening to Smoke. She couldn't help to prey. To whatever god that was left to hear her preys.
