It was ten years ago. Angelic forces appeared, the fallen dropped from the skies, and enormous beasts roamed the city, leaving destruction in their wakes. Academy City burned.

An old god wanted something it had lost long ago. And to get it, the god needed a certain number of souls. But one god' followers' broke ranks and sealed Academy City in an enormous dome. Not allowing for the dark harvest to spread. The war began. And everything changed.

Vampires, wolves, espers, sorceress, angels, fallen angels, demons, beasts, and one old god trapped inside. The ground broke and cracked as glass buildings shattered, twisted, and fell. The smell of searing flesh rose with bright blue bolts spread like the wings of a dragon and then silence. Chaos reigned as the seven dragons of creation enjoyed tea from the rooftop of the bakery cafe.

Uiharu was lying on the floor of the Judgement office. It violently shook as filing cabinets tumbled, papers scatter and burned. She'd been attacked. Not by a monster like a fallen angel or demon or any beast, but a man. A monster, nonetheless.

He'd came during the chaos and decided he'd take what he wanted. And what he said he wanted was a frail young girl with flowers in her hair. She yelled, screamed, and did her best to fight back. A single backhand sent her flying against the wall, and she slumped to the ground. Groggy, she saw him grinning, licking his lips disgustingly. He straddled her, lifting her skirt, a lovely pale blue she heard him say. She screamed until her throat hurt, swung wildly, striking, and scratching his cheek. His eyes flashed, bitch! In a dark voice, reaching behind his back and pulled out a large knife. Going to have a little fun…. no pain, no…. well, you'll see what I mean. She watched as fear ravaged her.

The edge of the blade glowed a horrific bright red. This will leave a mark to remember me by. There was a dark flash of pleasure, satisfaction in his eyes.

Tears rolled down the side of her face, then pain, her screams filling her ears. She heaved violently as her nose filled with the smell of her flesh burning with a hint of liver and onions, And something rough and loud, then darkness.

Hey, she felt the gentle tapping on her cheek. Hey…. Uiharu…. she felt a cool breath across her face. Uiharu… it's me… she batted her eyes, trying to focus. She felt the concern in the voice. It was a familiar voice. Her face hurt as nothing had hurt before. It was hot. It radiated across her whole face. She flinched, feeling a gentle pressure of someone was gently stroking that cheek.

Samantha? It took most of her strength to say that one word.

Hmmm…. the petite blonde quickly nodded and smiled big. Her mouth was blood red, so were her eyes. The tips of her fangs dripped slowly.

Are you hurt? Uiharu asked. No… the vampires' smile grew. My Mistress told me to find and keep you safe.

This one was so innocent, she thought. I'm soorrry I didn't get here soon enough… she heard as the little vampire bowed her head. I'm sooorrry… she felt her tiny hand caress her cheek. I can't fix this. I can help with the pain, but the….s…car

the dull pain radiated across her face. It's alright… Uiharu whispered, closed her eyes, and sunk into darkness.

She awoke smelling of fresh flowers, wet grasses, and other natural fragrances. Let me take these fake symbols of nature from you. Such foolishness. The words of whoever it was carried a warmth buried deep in her heart. Something familiar welled up like a fresh spring. Uiharu barely had the strength to open her eyes. But she could feel the woman putting something on her head.

There… she whispered, there, just as it should be. there was satisfaction in her tone.

A warmth spread, her strength grew, something magical like a sprout pushing through the wet soil and feeling the sunshine for the very first time. She took a deep breath, opened her eyes, seeing the bright white ceiling. Ruiko? is that…?

No, the woman spoke with a chuckle, coming into view. Her violet-colored eyes shined like polished stones, drawing her in as she smiled warmly.

Whooo? Are…. Uiharu scooted back as she did her best to sit up in the bed.

Be still, daughter, for you have just been healed. The woman tilted her head slowly, gently put her hand on Uiharu's left cheek. Unfortunately. Even I can't heal this unsightly blemish caused by man. Hatred overwrote the warmth in her eyes. She inhaled, shutting them tight. But still… thanks to that vampire… they opened and shined again as she gazed. I am grateful to the creature of the night and her queen. The woman nodded her head. An inner glow burned softly in her violet eyes.

I am Titania, and it's been a while… since that cursed man took you from me and disappeared. Her face twisted in anger, strands of her long black hair lifted as a violent breeze rose.

Did someone open the window? Uiharu looked over her shoulder.

The woman sighed as a smile appeared, no… sorry, sometimes I just get…. you know…. she nodded, angry.

The woman took a deep breath, clasped one hand between her large breasts and put her other hand on Uiharu's chest, and spoke, And I'm your mother, child…

Huuuuuhhhhhh?! My… but I…. she quickly moved back. But the woman's hand never left her chest. She laughed. It was soft and gentle. I am not surprised by your reaction she laughed. She exhaled softly and spoke. This may take a little time, but…

Titania explained. she had taken leave of Tir na nOg to go for a bit of walk, she claimed. It was closer to a thousand years, but who's counting. She met and fell in love with a human male. They lived together in the boundaries between the fairy and human realm in bliss. Or so she thought. But then again, love differs from humans and fairies. It can be pretty possessive to say it plainly.

A beautiful little girl was born. She placed a tiny headdress of living green ivy, leaves, and flowers. I will always know where you are… she kissed her little cheek.

Then one unnaturally foggy morning, she awoke to the loud banging on the door. Groggily walking down the hall, she opened the door, and there stood Oberon, the king of the fairies, and her husband. It seemed someone had contacted the woods' fairies and told them where they could find her.

And that someone went back to the human realm. Uiharu's father then removed the olive-green ivy, leaves, and flowers, knowing it would allow Titania to find them, and replaced it with the small headband of fake flowers.
