I do not own the PJO characters. I am so sorry I haven't posted for 2 weeks but I was going through a rough patch, then I ended up getting sick, and my editor, Sydney, couldn't edit for a little while, but we're back now and are really sorry.
Nico and I decided to go to our room and pack our bags. I didn't have much to pack but Will made sure that we had everything we needed.
"First-aid kit?" Will asked.
"Yes," I said rolling my eyes.
"Ambrosia and Nectar?"
"For Nico, yes."
"Weapons?"
"I got καλοσύνη and you know Nico has his sword."
"Okay, what about extra clothes?"
"Yes, Will. How many times do we have to go over this?"
"Hey, I just want to make sure you guys have everything."
"Will, we are fine. This isn't our very first quest."
"Fine fine," Will said and sadly walked away.
"Is he gone?"
"Yes, he's gone," I said.
"Good," Nico said, coming out from under the bed.
"Hey, why did you hide and make medeal with your boyfriend?" I asked.
"Hey it's your fault for not hiding when I yelled 'hide'," Nico said.
"Thanks," I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"You're welcome." He answered politely. I rolled my eyes again.
Sally then came into the room. "I wanted to make sure you had plenty to eat so I made you blue cookies, a salad, and a few leftover pancakes from the other day."
"Thank you," I said.
Nico went over and grabbed the food from Sally and went to open the cookies. "Nico?" I said with my hands on my hips."
"Yeah?"
"Those aren't for now, they're for later," I raised my hand, ripping the bag of cookies out of his hands.
"Hey! I just wanted one," he pouted.
I shoved the food into my backpack as Sally left the room laughing.
"Okay since we have all of our stuff ready, hopefully, we should head out," I said, shouldering my backpack.
"Why now? Can't we wait until tomorrow?"
"Because I want to get this done and over with. We'll go to Camp, ask Rachel, and see if she knows where we're going, and if we get an answer, we'll leave. Oh, and can you tell Chiron that we're coming?"
"Fine." Nico walked out of the room with his shoulders dipped a bit. I walked out after him and into the living room.
The Stoll's were on the couch playing with Coral and Estelle, Will was sitting on a chair talking with Paul who sat next to Sally on a smaller couch.
"So," Travis said, "What's Coral going to do?"
"I actually thought a lot about it, and I've decided that she's going with me," I said.
Sally perked up. "You're going to bring a two-year-old on a quest?!"
"Well, yeah, I'm going to see if Eliza can come with us, he can watch over her. I'm just tired of leaving her. I promised Alex that I would always watch after her, I can't do that when I'm who knows where and she's stuck here," I explained, "I also promised to her that I would never leave her again, and I tend on keeping that promise."
"Did you tell Nico?" Will asked.
"No, but he's going to have to deal with the news."
"Deal with what news?"
I turned to see Nico standing behind me. "Oh, Coral's going with us," I smiled.
"Hmm, I figured," Nico said, taking a bite out of a blue cookie.
"Hey! Where did you get that?" I said putting my hands on my hips.
"Your backpack," he explained while crumbs fell out of his mouth as he talked.
"How! I'm wearing my backpack?"
"Nothing can get between Nico and Sally's blue cookies," Will said from across the room.
"Same with Percy," Sally said with a quick laugh.
"Anyways," Nico said, downing the remnants of the cookie, "I contacted Chiron and he's expecting us, we should head out."
I looked at him confused. "Are you okay? You don't sound like yourself."
"Eh, I'm fine," he said.
The Stoll's came up to me. "Do you have to go?" They complained.
"I'll be fine," I reassured them. They then frowned, hugged me, and went to mope on the couch some more.
Coral then came up to me. "I'm going with you?" She asked.
"Mhm, I already packed your stuff, and we can leave as soon as Will lets Nico go." I looked over to where Will was giving Nico a bear hug while squeezing the living daylights out of him.
"Come on," I said, rolling my eyes and lifting my hand so I could pull Nico away from Will. "I'm sorry to ruin this adorable Solangelo moment but I want to leave." Believe it or not but I really wanted to go back to Camp even if it is just for a little while, I really missed that place even though people treated me like crap.
With Nico still lifted in the air, I walked to the door. I faltered a bit but walked out with Coral in one arm and Nico being lifted by the other.
Thanks for reading! And I'm sorry again for not posting for two weeks but hopefully, I made it a bit better by giving you this chapter. Also, I don't think I'm going to do the daily Fun fact anymore because it just gives me more work to do and I don't really think you guys really cared about the facts I put. Anyway stay safe and wear a mask (or don't I can't control you :)
