Chapter 71: Doomsday

AVENGER COMPOUND

Toga finished licking off the blood before cringing, "Yuk, what's wrong with your blood. It's all bitter."

"Trying real hard not to be insulted." Alexis snapped, though curious he took a chance to lick his wound, "I don't taste that bitter."

Toga ignored the comment and let herself change into his form.

"Okay," Alexis said, shaking his head, "I've had a long day, so forgive me if I'm not in the mood."

Alexis withdrew his Freeze gun quickly and went to fire it. The problem was that as he went to pull the trigger, his damaged hand flinched in pain, hesitating at the trigger.

Mister Compress used this chance to grab the weapon and compress it into a marble.

With one hand, he held out the marble. With his other mechanical hand, he grabbed Alexis by the neck.

"You said you were tired, did you not? Why don't you take a long sleep?"

Alexis struggled against the grip, but he started to panic. He had some very traumatic experiences with someone trying to choke him.

Shigaraki realized that they weren't where they had been, having at least the basic knowledge of its purpose and having read plenty of manga, he had a feeling where they were. He did wonder if they should spare him to question him.

He came to an answer quick, "Get rid of him. We don't know what he can do and given a chance. He'd try to escape. "

Rufus jumped off the controls onto the former stage magician, and usually, a small mole rat would be harmless unless it went for the neck.

"Ah!" Compress screamed, weakening his grip enough to escape.

The little rodent crawled into his clothes, attacking him as he did.

Alexis fell to the ground gasping for breath.

Shigaraki rushed at him intending to decay him, Alexis still didn't have enough breath to fight, but he had few tricks. He threw his coat at him. Shigaraki grabbed the coat to try and decay it, but the spells on it protected it, and it started to wrap around him, pulling him away from his target.

The coat wasn't alive; it didn't have consciousness. Alexis could move it around as long as he focused enough.

Toga held out a knife, "I better take extra blood,"

Toga charged at Alexis, who only barely managed to hold off the girl with his face. The struggle made him lose his focus, and the coat could no longer hold back Shigaraki, who just pulled it off.

"Aha!" Toga fell, screaming in pain.

"What did you do?" Shigaraki growled at Alexis.

Alexis just shrugged, "I was losing."

Toga was having an odd moment.

Her skin was crawling and shifting, scales growing over her skin, fur growing, half-formed wings sticking out of her back. Her teeth started to turn spiky and jagged—animal-like faces growing out of her shoulder, along with a half-formed horn.

In the end, half her face managed to turn back into her natural face as the rest turned into Alexis' face made of blue carb shell.

"What's happening to her?" Shigaraki asked.

"I don't-" Alexis stopped himself, "Oh… is her power morphic based? Morphic fields are connected to people's biology, and it's connected to how organisms are shaped. It's the metaphysical blueprint that goes with DNA. My animal transformations are tied to it. If her power is sampling DNA and using it to override her morphic field and she samples someone with an unstable morphic field, she's having a resonance effect. She can't handle the overlaying fields,"

Toga screamed as her foot became hooved, one of her eyes turning black, her back turning hard, and her hand turned into a crab claw.

Alexis looked at his watch device. It stabled his transformation and allowed him to instigate them. He thought that he might be able to stabilize her but threw that thought to the side. It depends on the use of magic, which he didn't think she had. It also depends on having sequenced his DNA and sequence before he was changed. He didn't have an untrained sample to work with.

"I can't do anything,"

"Then what good are you?" Shigaraki went to him to kill out of anger.

FRIDAY's voice rang out, "I will warn you we have back upcoming right now. If you harm him anymore, we will not show you mercy."

Shigaraki sighed, "Compress, help me get Toga out of here."

Rufus jumped out of the villain's clothes and moved to stand before Alexis to attempt to defend him.

They could hear someone coming down one of the halls.

The other villains grabbed Toga, helping her get up. They couldn't stay; they'd get caught. Walking over to a wall, Shigaraki used his quirk to decay the wall outside and make an opening. The trio rushed into the night.

Greyman rushed in, "What happened?"

FRIDAY saw the fighting get started and called for help, trying not to alert the villains, and he was the one closes.

"Explain later," Alexis huffed, getting on his feet.

Alexis had been alone in the room for a few minutes, and there was an unconscious ninja threw into a wall, a frozen scientist, and a hole in the wall.

The portal was pulsing all this time, but now it seemed to be growing in intensity and more unstable.

FRIDAY spoke up," Sirs Scout is focusing on some data he's gathered from the current portal. He needs my help at the moment, and I will have to concentrate fully on what computational processors that aren't already in allocated."

"Okay, you explain that," Greyman asked.

FRIDAY and Scout were using all their resources to try and filter out data.

The HUB was shaking as the portal pulsed.

"Ah, okay, "Alexis looked at the data, "Are those life signs?"

"Barely, they'd scrambled. It looks like there was a spike in gravitational forces; that's the only thing barely keeping any of the organic matter held together. "

"Something weird is going on with the other end, exotic matter maybe? It's eating up energy and becoming hugely unstable. If he sends in an energy pulse, we can shut it off before it exploded here."

"If we do that, then whoever is in it, they're gone,"

"We don't have much time; the readings are getting harder to pick up on. Soon they will dissolve, and they are gone, and-" Alexis tried to put his thoughts into words, "The anomaly is getting worse and bigger, it's drawing in more energy, and as it does, it deludes whoever is inside. Soon there will be too much energy, and it will breach the event horizon here, causing an explosion. There are too many factors to give us time on either. If we are going to try and save them, we have to do it quickly."

"Okay, okay," Greyman took breaths, trying to calm at this pressure, "So, we either find a better way to filter all the extra stuff out or find a way to Scout and Friday to help the system working several thousand times better, in the next few minutes."

"FRIDAY is already using every available Stark server. We'd need a lot of computational power quick."

Greyman thought of something, "Did you say that Scout had an error and connected to everything on another world? Can we do that here? Can he hack everything and use that computational power to help filter out the people?"

"That could work." Alexis smiled, "Scout! Got a job for you."

I heard everything. Let's do it!

FRIDAY stayed monitoring everything while Scout spread himself across the world through everything he could reach. He ignored machines like computers monitoring people in hospitals or emergency response computers. People worldwide found their laptops, phones, smart fridges all seemingly shut down for a moment.

Both Alexis and Greyman waited with bated breath to see if this would work. They prepared the pulse; if this worked or not, they would have to send it. The room seemed to shake as the pressure started to increase to their limits.

The portal pulsed and outshot out a group of people. Alexis pressed the button, and a pulse hit the portal, shutting it down.

Greyman went over the group of people, who all seemed to be wearing strange clothes.

FRIDAY confirmed, "Their vitals are stable, but they seem to be unconscious. I've already alerted Dr. Smith-Jones."

Greyman noticed, "I thought there were more."

FRIDAY told him, "Some of the signals had degraded too much to salvage."

"Well, we save someone," Alexis told him. "It's been a long day, at things can't be worse for the other guys."

WAKANDA

Doomsday stepped over Gwen's body.

Doomsday was more of a force of nature than an entity, and it only knew violence. It existed only to cause death.

Luthors, in all their arrogance, knew not to try and control it. They found Doomsday and had barely managed to capture it in a time bubble. They planned that if the heroes of this world broke through all their defenses, they would release Doomsday. They had to direct him long enough to finish their job. With any luck, they could leave quick afterward and let him die with the Universe.

He'd been freed when the machine had been set destroyed.

Doomsday charged at the heroes, Kakine was the first to react, creating a ball of Dark Matter Around the beast. Dark matter was a strange material and primarily unbreakable.

Doomsday struck the walls of his cage, and after three solid hits, it shattered.

Shuri fired her sonic gauntlets at him, and Steve ran up to strike him with his shield, but Doomsday stuck him away. Steve was hurled away by force, the shield barely holding off the force enough to make the punch survivable.

Shuri jumped onto Doomsday, trying to drive her vibranium claws into his eyes. She managed to form a scratch on his face. Doomsday grabbed her and began to crush her in his grip. Her suit suddenly had purple lines form on it before it exploded out the kinetic energy. The explosion of kinetic energy didn't seem to harm Doomsday but forced him to release Shuri.

Doomsday moved to finish Shuri off when Power Girl flew in and took her away, "We have to move back."

The supermen rushed in to grab Doomsday and fly him into space. Fighting him on the ground would only result in injuries. The thing is that people think Doomsday is a dumb creature, no he is aware he was born of violence and pain, and that's all he knew, but he is capable of learning. Doomsday had been taken into space before, and he wasn't going to let it happen again. Bringing his arms together, he forced the Supermen to collide, forcing him to fall.

Doomsday hit the ground, shaking as he did.

"Hit him with everything you got!" Tony ordered.

The legion ship, the Wakandan ships controlled by Elena, very long-range weapon, every blaster, every magic, every esper ability, everything long-ranged was fired on mass, striking Doomsday.

Everyone felt that that Doomsday needed to be put down as quickly as possible to save their very own lives. Doomsday was consumed with light that threatening to blind everyone. No one knew how long they were all firing. It felt like an eternity, and the thought lingered that if they didn't keep going, their death would come.

Eventually, they had to stop firing, some whose attack depended on their power their bodies faltered, weapons then ran out of power, and some had to stop attacking to see what happened finally.

It looked like the air was burning. The ground was glowing bright hot. There was no sign of movement or life. They told themselves that nothing could survive that.

"Aaaaaaaaah!"

They were wrong.

He pulled himself from the ground. Doomsday roared as his skin burn bright red.

Tony winced, "We just made him scarier."

Doomsday took a step forwards, and the ground burned at his touch.

The first to react was Sogiita, who rushed in, pulling every bit of energy he could. His strange power protected him from the heat, and he raced at the monster at super speed. His fist charged up with energy.

There was an explosion, and Doomsday was consumed. As the smoke clear, it looked like all it did was cool him down a little. Doomsday had caught the punch in his hand. There was a sickening crunch as he crushed Sogiita's fist. Sogiita didn't even manage to let out a scream as Doomsday punched him into the ground. His jagged bone claws tearing into the teenaged esper's chest.

If there had been any doubts that this thing wouldn't hesitate to kill them, they were gone.

AVENGER'S COMPOUND

The others had helped Martha take care of the new guest that had arrived. They were stable though unconscious; Martha couldn't only describe it like how astronauts in training pass out after taking too many Gs in the simulator but a thousand times worse.

Martha also made sure to handle Alexis chest and hand wounds. He fought over it, but Martha won over bandaging up his wounds.

"You should have me put in stitches," She finished wrapping her hand.

"Yeah, probably, but this will be enough. I still need my hand; once this is over, we can talk about it."

Martha sighed at his stubbornness and pushed him some mild pain killer.

Darkhelm and CPU, with some help from Kirby and Ava, we're rounding up the villains.

Dendy was rebooting the system there. "And done,"

There was a flash of light, and Sogiita was teleported in a nearby bed.

Martha rushed over to him, "What happened? It looks like most of his bones have been shattered." Her eyes went wide as the heart monitor read that his heart wasn't moving. As Martha inspected, a large wound went through his heart. "oh god!"

"Ah!" Sogiita grunted.

"He's alive! How! He doesn't have a heart?"

Sogiita coughed up blood and what Martha was sure part of a vital organ. "Hasn't stopped me before," He moaned.

"What happened?" Alexis asked.

"Something bad and strong," Sogiita hissed as Martha went to treat him as best she could.

Alexis, on the other hand, looked on horrified. Sogiita was a tank with wild and unexplained power. Something took him out quickly, and for someone so optimistic, he sounded worried.

"Are you the first one hurt?" Dendy asked, unsure if she took too long to set the teleport system back up.

"The red-haired girl… her head…"

Alexis feared the worse and ran towards the HUB.

"GREY!" Alexis yelled, "We got injured coming!"

He raced to the HUB room to warn the alien.

"What's going on?"

Alexis went to the controls, "Something is attacking people at Wakanda. People are coming; we need to keep an eye on people's vitals. If the system fails, we might need to pull people."

A portal opened up, "We might have already missed someone, so keep an eye on it."

Alexis rushed through the portal.

"What? You're going to leave me alone?"

"Poyo?" Kirby walked, overhearing the commotion.

WAKANDA

"Gwen! Please be okay!"

"Ah!"

Gwen opened her eyes to look up at Charmcaster, Rojo, and Frightwig.

Gwen had transformed into A Coluan, who happened to rebuild their bodies from significant damage. Little machines in their bodies put everything back together. Her shattered head put itself together, and she woke up with the worst headache ever.

In a flash of light, she changed back.

"Your okay?" Charmcaster asked.

"We need to move," Frightwig told them.

Doomsday fought the others; Rojo and Frightwig were trying to stand card for the magic users if Doomsday turned his attention.

It didn't look good; the heroes were desperately trying to stop the creature.

Captain America was more than a little sore but walked off, telling Shuri, "Move back your people. We have equipment it pulls out before we take lethal damage but-"

"I understand," Shuri knew that if it happened to anyone else, they would die without that safety net.

Shuri ordered her people to fall back, only attack at a range, and help evacuate anyone hurt.

Steve turned to power Girl, "Anything you know about that thing?"

Power Girl shook her head, "It's Doomsday, it's killed … its easily the most dangerous thing on the planet."

"How do we kill it?"

"You can't; even if you manage to kill him, he comes back. He comes back strong and immune to dying that way."

"Capture it?"

"People have tried,"

People were trying to teleport it away, but Doomsday recognized it and moved out portals, boom tubes, and teleportation disc.

Most of the attacks seemed to be rolling off him.

Yami used his dimensional slash attack, it went through him, but he kept moving after it like it didn't matter that his insides were cut in half.

"Tony," Rhodey called to him. "What do we do?"

Tony had just gotten FRIDAY and was scanning Doomsday, "I don't know,"

"Say that again, and I don't think I heard you."

"I don't know,"

"That can't be right. In all the years I've known you, I don't think I've ever heard you say that."

"I don't know what to tell you; the scans aren't even showing any organs. Its skin is a composite material that would give Vibranium a run for its money."

Psylocke managed to jump on his back and use her psionic blades on him, using her full power to knock him out.

She commanded him to sleep, but the moment her mind made contact with his, she felt such overwhelming hatred that the psychic energy washed back and knocked her out. She was teleported away.

Magik was going to try it herself; she teleported right in front of him and stabbed him through the chest with her soul sword. A weapon capable of hurting a person's soul but Doomsday merely knocked her away. As she lost consciousness and was teleported away, she had to wonder if such a thing had a soul at all.

Nearby Vanessa was eating Charmy's food, she had managed to restore enough power to re-create Rouge, but it was straining. It felt like every movement had her powers reshuffle everything to make sure no one died or got hurt. In the end, even the witch that distorted fate fell.

"Vanessa!" Charmy reached for her as she was teleported away.

Spellcasters were trying spells to make it sleep or just outright hurt him. Not that it was helping. His mind was too strong to affect, and his body was even worse.

0000

The others continued to fight Lobo.

"I get that I'm hot!" Scarlett yelled, pausing to chuckle at her accidental pun, "But I'm not interested! I'm into goths and geeks, not biker punks."

Deadpool leveled his weapons at Lobo, "You heard the lady, no means no. I got your back, sister." Deadpool gave her a nod.

"I just want my gun back," Rocket pulled out a spare and smaller blaster.

Lobo chuckle, "Look, your pretty but your not my type."

"You've been chasing me, telling me to come with you," Scarlett told him.

"Yeah, for that firepower. I see in your eyes the wrath, the destruction, and you are bucking to go hog wild. To see those flames burn everything around. I want to see it, and I want to help bring it out. I'm not a being burnt alive, but I'd love to see you let loose. The damage you could do, I'd give anything see those fireworks. Come with me, and I'll even give up on his job. Your friend got more than they can handle already. They don't need me to give them a hassle. Let go and set the sky on fire."

Deadpool noticed something, something in Scarlett's eyes seemed shaken by what the bounty hunter had said.

Deadpool moved in front of her, "You're not going anywhere you don't want to go."

"I don't think you got a say, gimp suit,"

The biggest problem with this whole thing was that he could make more clones of himself if they made Lobo bleed. Scarlett was most effective by burning any cells before they had a chance to clone, and she wasn't much in the mood to do that at the moment.

But they had help from an unlikely pair.

"Back off!"

Green plasma-like flames shot, forcing Lobo back.

Kim jumped right behind Shego and extended her suit's shield around the group. Before the bubble seals off, Shego let lose a large blast surrounding them and forcing Lobo back. Though it also trapped them until it died down.

Shego spoke up, "We got to do something about this guy and his clones. We can't focus on the rampaging monster with them attack our sides."

Kim added, "We need something to stop them from cloning or anything."

The air shimmered behind him, and a portal formed, and Alexis stepped out. He raced and quickly wrapped his arms around Scarlett as if he was afraid she'd vanish if he let go.

"Don't scare me like that," He whispered.

"Me? Look at you, "her hands trace his face, then to the bandages over his chest that stuck out of the cut on his shirt, "you look terrible. What happened?"

"It's been a night,"

"Don't give me that. What happened?"

"Got into a fight with a ninja and a guy with a blaster, stopped a gate from exploding, got beat up by a guy with a hand fetish, and I might have turned a high school girl mutated monster."

"Oh, yeah, sounds like you," Scarlett sighed.

To the surprise of the others, she didn't sound shocked at all.

"I knew you'd were doing something stupid,"

"Oh! And a guy in a top hat turned my freeze gun into a marble, going to have to figure that one out,"

"Okay, that's new, and isn't your cold gun?"

"No, it's always been a freeze gun," He blinked, "what about you?"

"Ranpanging super monster after fighting an army of androids that copied out powers. Oh, and a biker super strength heals from anything, and his blood can make copies of himself."

"That seems simple enough," He motioned to the dark sword under her jacket, "You have her sword. Anything cut with it doesn't heal. It's the freaking harpe. It's the thing that killed the Gorgon."

"It's hers!" Scarlett shook her head, "it's hers, and it's not mine to use. I thought bringing it here, I'd be able to use it, but I don't know it feels wrong if I even try. Like admitting she's gone, and I'm just copying her, and I won't be more. I just can't be her."

"Who asking you to be her?"

"You need her, and I need her. She's the only one of us with common sense. We burn, we destroy, but she was the one of us that pulled us back. She kept us from doing something stupid! Doing something we'd regret! Stop us from hurting people! I'm trying, I'm trying, but I can't fight against my instinct. I'm fire; I burn. I'm just not enough."

Sadly Alexis pressed his forehead against her, "Why do you need to be here? I don't want to be her. Beatrice wouldn't ask you to be her, and she loved that passion of yours. I love that passion. Look, I'm a mess. I'm just anxious energy, and my thoughts are racing every second, trying to find the answer. I want to keep you safe. It's like screaming in my head all the time. I'm scared, and I don't know if I can do anything right now. And…"

"Okay," Shego clapped her hands.

The group has stayed quiet; these two looked like they needed to talk for a moment, just trying to process something.

Shego wasn't as patient, and she didn't have time to be, "Look, I know life hard right now. I know what it's like to lose someone… someone you can't imagine your life without—not given a chance to say goodbye. It breaks you, some more than others, some in different ways. You don't have to change, talk to each other, be there for each other. I get it. You're used to being a trio, well, your duo now. You gotta lean on each a little harder, prop up each other a little more. I don't know this, Beatrice," she motioned to them, "if she could deal with even half your mess, she must have been a saint."

They needed in agreement, Scarlett added, "We did call her an angel,"

"Whatever, she doesn't sound like the person who would want you to give up. Or not to use everything you have to keep each other safe. So take a deep breath and pull yourselves together. We got a long way to go before we have a chance to bring her back."

The pair took her words and took a breath, trying to center themselves.

Kim smirked and whispered to Shego, "Helping? I wonder why you'd help a weird science nerd in blue and a girl with flamming hands?"

Shego rolled her eyes, "Shut it, Kimmie."

"We good?" Alexis asked.

"No, but we've never really been," Scarlett told him with a grin.

"What are we going to do?"

"I'm going to decapitate some people."

"I'm going to destroy an army."

Alexis pulled out his remote and opened a portal beneath them, and they vanished.

The rest of the group stared.

"Uh," Deadpool raised a finger, "I'm not the best judge of these things, but that sounded bad."

Yeah, those two probably need near-constant supervision.

0000

Fred charged at Doomsday; his Kaiju Aura stretched out, forming a monster to face him. With a boom, the two figures collided. For a moment, Doomsday was pushed back before he dug in his feet and pushed back. He raised the aura above his head with some more effort and hurled him back, taking Fred with it.

Aang jumped in, creating a gust of wind to slow him down. Aang continued, his eyes glowing as Earth raised around the monster and fire crashing down on him. With a roar the as with a crack, he busted out.

Before Doomsday can take too many steps, a hero with silver metal skin rushing ahead, her fist glowing with radioactive energy. Bombshell strikes him with everything she has, but the monster barely reacts. As Doomsday moves to attack, she is forced back.

"Come here, big fellow," Lia Nelson, the flash of her world, appears next to Doomsday. She hovered before him as he turned to attack her. Suddenly several copies of her materialized around him. They all fired energy at him. Suddenly a massive version forms above him and smashes her hand on him. There is a flash of light as his copy shatters in an explosion.

Kanzaki rushes in the saint's power urged her on. She quickly sent a fury of slashes with her nodachi, and it didn't take long before the blade crack against the hardened skin. Doomsday punches were hitting her hand enough to break ribs. Kanzaki has fought monsters before, and this pain level was new, but her mind is still clear during the blinding pain. The device on her hand began to activate. She plunged the broken blade into the monster's eye. As she is teleported away, she manages to cut out the eye.

The young Blue Beetle flew down as his suit's arms turned into canons fired away at the monster. A few small cracks began to form on the monster's skin. He moved to crush the blue beetle when arrows embedded themselves into his back. The arrows began to screech out a loud sonic pulse defining the half-blind monster.

This is how things went, heroes switching out as they attacked Doomsday—trying to keep him off balance so he couldn't have a chance to land a blow. It wasn't perfect, and it was clear that if he could land a blow, he could cripple them or worse.

They couldn't attack mass without risking either hitting each other or tiring themselves out all at once. Doomsday didn't seem to be losing any stamina. And if this continued, odds were that their number would be widdled down if this fight continued if they might not be enough to do severe damage.

0000

It's not like the group could use their full power as many people were stuck battling the Lobo clones.

Mickey Smith found himself firing his gun at Lobo, sure he wasn't new to fighting aliens, but this was difficult. As the clone jumped to attack him when suddenly, the clone's head fell.

Mickey was now surprised to see Alexis and Scarlett, who held out a black sword.

Mickey was about to warn her that cutting the clones would just create more. But as the head gasped on the ground, black veins spread out from the cut. Soon they consumed the head, and it dissolved into black ash and the rest of the body.

"Huh?" Alexis murmured, "It's usually not that effective. Maybe the clones are unstable or something. Something about its regeneration."

Scarlett slapped him on the shoulder, "We got work to do,"

"I need ahead," Alexis replied.

"What?" Mickey was confused.

Alexis just pointed to a Brainiac bot that has been broken. Scarlett jumped into the fray, slashing at the clones. There were many reasons why Beatrice didn't like Scarlett using the sword, mainly because Scarlett wasn't a sword fighter. She used a sword, but she moved it wildly, and that would be much more dangerous when the blade could make any wound permanent. Scarlett took the precaution by wrapping flames around to at least make sure to keep it away from herself. The flames touching the blade turned black.

Scarlett found that if she made a killing blow, the clones just fell apart. So that what she was going to do.

Mickey, on the other side, was catching his breath trying to see what Alexis was doing, "Since she is taking care of the clones, shouldn't we help with big and ugly,"

"Yeah, I am." He fiddled with the head of the android.

"How?"

"These robots can copy weapons and abilities, right?" Alexis motioned him towards the robot parts to help him open them up.

"Yeah,"

"Yeah, that's it."

"You need to explain some more,"

0000

Shuri blasted Doomsday with her gauntlets, and the instant she stopped, Steve jumped, slamming his shield onto his head.

Before he even hit the ground, heat beams hit Doomsday in the chest.

"I think we got a problem," Shuri noticed the robots getting up.

Mickey came up on the comms, "Don't attack them! It's a plan, I barely have an idea, but at least we will get a break."

Mickey was finishing rerouting power in one of the robots so it wouldn't shut down.

Alexis opened up one of the heads and shoved his hand into it. He was using his magic to hack the system and control it.

"It's not a complicated idea, your fighting a monster that can't die and will just evolve if you do kill it. You have an army of robots that copy abilities. I don't see why it's so hard to follow. I'm going to use it to copy- "

"Doomsday," Tony said over the comms, "They call it Doomsday,"

"Oh, fun name." Alexis continued, "Its probably going to take me a few attempts, so-"

The robots rushed past people and attacked Doomsday on mass.

Every ability was used and switched out quickly. The robots were torn apart like tissue paper. They had gotten onto 20 robots when something strange happened. A robot that had his head crushed beyond repair repaired itself. Doomsday tried to destroy it again for the head to hold out.

"There were go," Alexis smiled, "Okay, there, just give it some time, and hopefully this works."

"Okay, what's happening?" Steve asked,

"One of the robots has duplicated Doomsdays ability. As many times as he's destroyed, it will come back stronger. The other robots will give him time to recover before he fights and loses again. These robots learn faster than people; at some point, it should learn to even use multiple abilities at once. If we are lucky, it will evolve to the point of being able to kill Doomsday."

"If?" Steve picked up on it.

"It's complicated; the numbers of all the robots are giving my robot a chance to evolve. If he doesn't have the backup, Doomsday might be able to focus on him and destroy him beyond the point of repair before this ability becomes fully realized and stable." He sighed, "And that is a low chance; Doomsday has a huge lead on the evolutionary thing. But it could help us by giving us a chance to think of something better. It would be great if we can isolate them too."

"I think we have something for that," Chain jumped down from the ship.

Sakura was ridding on Kero along with Lady Noir as they flew down. Sakura used the Siege card and magic flowing from forming a cube around the fighting robots and Doomsday. Almost like rubber, the barrier held out, just bulging and shifting as the fighting continued.

"How long can it hold?" Steve asked him.

As Sakura landed, she shrugged, "don't know, I've never tried to hold anything like this,"

Tony landed nearby to assess the situation, "Anyone have any clues on how to end this?"

People gathered, trying to help.

The supers were the experts on Doomsday and looked at one another for solutions.

"It's hard to say," Clark confirmed. "Doomsday could be from any universe; it's hard to know what he's survived. He can take a hit, and I don't think we could manage anything to hurt him."

Tony snorted, "Yeah, I scanned him. I'm not an expert on biology but what I saw seems like he doesn't need organs. You have to do damage to all of him to put him down."

Brainiac 5 thought out loud, "His outer body has shown resistance to damage. We've managed to damage his eyes, but I doubt it won't heal soon. Attacking interior might show some promise if we can do enough damage."

Saturn Girl spoke up, "The glimpses of his mind I've gotten…"

"Chaos, Hate," the Martian Manhunter confirmed. "We've seen the attempt at it fail. I doubt even together we could do damage."

Constantine added, "Yeah, magic might add a kick. We'd have to pull out some big guns."

Traci 13 shook her head, "We'd need spells that disintegrate, dissolve, or just does a lot of damage."

Tony asked, "Why didn't you do that at the start?"

Itsuwa explained, "Spells of that nature are dangerous to use. If our aim is off, someone else could get hit without a chance of recovery."

Alexis added, "And those spells usually take time to cast or energy."

Yami explained, "We might run out juice to power any more spells until we recover. Casting that spell might knock out the caster or do damage to ourselves."

Charmcaster pushed her bangs out of her hair, "I mean, it basic magic training to control our magic not to hurt ourselves, but the more drastic spells are also easier to get out of hand."

"We need to focus on the spell as long as we can," Gwen added her point.

"And we still have to deal with the pale guy," Tony shook his head,

"Don't worry about it. Scarlett should have it done soon."

Once the shield came down, they attacked Lobo.

Shego jumped through what remained of the green energy and slashed the bounty hunter.

Lobo weaved his way out of her attacks, but as he focused on Shego, Kim jumped in and managed to kick him in the face.

Lobo jumped back and fired the blaster at Kim. Kim's suit quickly caught the blast and fired it right back at him.

Deadpool rushed in, kicking him in the gut.

Lobo curled in pain to find Rocket in his face. "Give me back my gun,"

Rocket put his blaster right into his face and fired.

"Frag!"

Lobo tumbled over his eyes, growing back; he readied the gun, "You want it?"

Before he could pull the trigger, a head hit him. He looked at saw his face before it turned into black ash.

Walking towards him like hell in heels, Scarlett stared him down. "Well, look at this," He shot Deadpool without looking.

Deadpool fell over, flipping him off.

"Look whose ready to get serious,"

Scarlett snarled, "Sorry I'm late. I had to take care of your clones. Not upset, I hope."

"Heh," Lobo just smirked, "You did me a favor. I'm the last of my kind. I like it that way. I made it that way. If you didn't do it, I'd do it myself. The last time I let one of those get away, he told everyone he was the real Lobo. He made up this crazy back story, making himself out into some sort of brooding pretty boy. Just thinking about it makes my gut turn."

"Maybe I should let one of them alive,"

"Are we talking, or we going to this?"

"I'm going to give you a chance, just because I know she would. So give up now, and I won't slice you up."

"Didn't think you were a comedian?" You try and even come close to me, and I'll crush you pretty-"

Scarlett used her flames to hurl her forward. Lobo's right shoulder was cut cleanly off. The arm hit the ground, and it turned black and decayed—black necrotic veins formed over his shoulder.

He wasn't healing, and his clones were one thing. They weren't on the level of the main man. Why wasn't he healing? He healed from anything.

Scarlett spun and slashed off his arm to the same effect.

"You B-"

His legs were sliced off, and he toppled back. Scarlett's eyes stared at him. The fire he had seen before now focused on him, hungry to burn him away. She leaned closer, pushing the tip of the sword into his groin just a little bit.

Her eyes never wavered, never blinked, never turned away, just stared dead into his eyes. She whispered, "I hear say another word, I'm going to cut off your little Lobo. If you start screaming, I'm going to cut out your vocal cords. If you cause me any more trouble after that, I'm going to keep cutting until your ahead I can put in a jar."

A wide smile spread across her face as if asking for him to dare her.

"Clear?"

"…"

"Good,"

She put the sword back in the sheath and walked off.

The others now knew precisely why someone was called a demon, and it wasn't because of a few fire tricks.

Lobo decided to accept it before things got worse. Even if he could fix things, there were ways to make it work. There was no way he was going to risk losing his Main Little Man.

Deadpool crossed his legs, "Oh! You Holy grails Black Knighted him."

Rocket just grabbed his gun from the remains of Lobo's hand.

Shego just blew her bangs out of her face, "I'm regretting saying anything."

Sakura was losing control over the Cube, the fight, and holding back what was inside.

The heavy hitters were staying close to the Cube; once it went down, they were going to grab Doomsday and hold him still as best they could. They would try and give a chance for those with abilities or attacks that might do some damage to aim and set off the attacks. The Heavy hitters wouldn't have much time to get out of the way, but this upped their chances.

They would have to attack one by one, right after another, never overlapping but not giving Doomsday a chance to recover.

If the Heavy Hitters didn't finish Doomsday, they would all need to back them up.

The Supermen wished they could do more, and they knew first hand the power Doomsday had. How dangerous he was. It was always a bit different in every Universe, but no matter what, Doomsday did a massive amount of damage, often defeating the whole justice League. They had a more number this time, they were somewhat ready, but there was no guarantee this would end differently.

The Cube went silent; either the battle was done or close to it. If they had gotten very lucky, The Evolved Amazo-Brainiac had outpaced Doomsday and killed him before Doomsday found some way of disposing of it.

Steve motioned to Sakura, who was at a safe distance with Kero by her side.

Sakura dropped the Cube, and it dissolved. There was a loud cracking sound as Doomsday crushed the Evolved Amazo-Brainiac's body with his foot tearing off his head.

The machine could almost not be recognized anymore, and its metallic skin had turned purple and somewhat organic. It only had one round yellow eye. Crushing it in his hand, Doomsday tossed away the head.

Before he could even act, the others had jumped in. The two wonder woman wrapped their lassos around his arms and pulled for everything the gods could offer them.

Shadow Lass summoned as many shadows as she was pulling at the monster.

Kakine summoned up as much dark matter as he could, tying him, trying to pin him down.

Klaus and Zed were using their blood to form more bindings to hold Doomsday.

The Supermen, Power Girl, Iron Man, Martian Manhunter, the Hulk, Thor, War Machine, and Stitch piled on using everything they had to hold him in spot.

Usually, this would be overkill; it wasn't enough; they all felt their bodies strain holding him back.

Everyone else prepared to attack.

"You think you have enough juice to do a big spell," Scarlett asked Alexis. "Just, you didn't sleep and look-"

"Well, we're about to see," Alexis replied as he prepared a long spell.

Scarlett leaned in and kissed him for a few seconds. They both glowed with energy. She smiled, "I wasn't planning on using magic anyway."

She transferred over her magical energy to help him out, and he returns the smile.

"So don't miss," She teased him.

Alexis smirked, rolling his eyes. Rose had healed him up, so he started to perform gesture after gesture.

The heroes were tossed off Doomsday, and he pulled away from every single restraint at once with a thundering roar.

"Go!" Steve yelled out.

They hadn't held out as long as anyone had hoped. They were all still charging up their attacks.

A black figure sped towards Doomsday, Lady Noir her hands glowing black. She took no happiness from the thought of killing a creature but, seeing his power and his fury understood it. Even Plagg hated seeing Doomsday. Plagg was the embodiment of destruction, but this thing was fury that disgusted and horrified the fun-loving Kwami. They moved together to destroy him, and they hoped to save for last. But with her speed and fast charge time, she now moved, ready to destroy.

"Cataclysm!" Lady Noir slammed her clawed hand onto his back.

Nothing happened; at first black cracks formed around his body. Doomsday grabbed her, spinning around, ready to slam her down onto the ground.

"Venom!"

Queen Bee raced after Lady Noid and used her stinger into the cracks.

Yellow energy started to fill them, and Doomsdays movements slowed but didn't stop. He slapped Queen Bee away and stomped on her.

"Chloe!" Lady Noice screamed, Chloe was teleported away.

"We gotta move. They teleported her away." War Machine picked her up and flew away as the other attacks began.

They might not have held him, but that last attack had done some damage, and the stinger did seem to move slower.

Yami focused his mana; hell, he needed to set up another spell to give him even to set this part up to help him get ready.

Yami clicked his tongue and fired his spell, "Death Thrust!"

Dark magic coiled around his sword, and he thrust, a ball of purple energy rushed towards Doomsday tearing his hand left hand.

Yami looked on, almost impressed. Most people taking that spell would have lost their whole torso.

Alexis just barely finished his spell. It was spell after spell crafted onto one another whose total goal was to distort reality. A bubble of black energy formed between his hands as he pulled his hand apart; it grew, and he threw it forward. The bubble shot forward, sucking in hair and anything else that got close to it.

Doomsday held back the attack with his one good hand, seeingly crushing it before the bubble burst sucking in his hand.

Mugino screamed as she let out everything she had. Around her energy coiled, green plasma merged and fired. There was a massive flash of light, and suddenly there was a scorched hole through his torso.

"Damn," Mugino hissed exhausted, "that didn't kill him."

Itsuwa nearby finished her spell, her spear forming a circle and then stabbing it.

"The power of heaven is always represented by the sun. Even in the depths of the Earth where no light reaches, there is nowhere the Lord's Power cannot reach. Purify our peril with light as bright as the midday."

The circle she made exploded, and the second explosion appeared in Doomsday's eye socket. A white Explosion ripped through the beast's head.

Zatanna channeled her magic, sending crystal blades through his body, tearing flesh from him.

Constantine spoke ancient words, and unusual red flames erupted beneath Doomsday tearing part of his body away.

Charmcaster looked at Gwen and held out her hand to her. Gwen took her hand as their power combined. They looked at the monster and spoke at one, "Eradico"

Energy began to pour out of Doomsday and every hole and crack before finally, he exploded.

Smoke covered the area, and they all waited to see if Doomsday finally died.

"Is it over?" Charmcaster asked.

Doomsday shot out of the smoke; its hard had regrown as little more than sharp claws, most of its flesh gone, and what was left was blackened.

Doomsday moved to attack those he hurt it last. Charmcaster's mouth went dry as she saw it coming for her. There wasn't enough time for her to do anything but realize what would happen.

Gwen pushed her down and used her to block her body.

The next thing Charmcaster knew, they were hurled away, tumbling to a complete stop.

"Oh," Power Girl was the first to realize what happened.

Charmcaster was being held up and hovering a few feet off the ground. Someone was princess carrying her.

Gwen was carrying her.

The Omnitrix changed her into something that had a good chance at surviving the attack. It picked a new DNA strand, a Kryptonian transformation. In this form, Gwen looked like she could have been Power Girl's sister. They had similar builds and looks. Even Gwen's outfit turned into a blue copy of hers with a purple cape. Gwen still had bright green eyes and short dark red hair.

The Supermen tackled Doomsday pulling him away from anyone else. Power Girl flew towards Gwen, stunned, "You- your hair- touched by Rao.

"Yeah, you can put me down," Charmcaster told her.

As the Supermen fought it, Calvin noticed something, "Hurling up."

Clark complied, and Calvin fired his heat beam at it.

Calvin explained, "His claws, he exciting some sort of venom on them."

Clark called out, "Don't get hit by the claws, their venomous."

"Got it!" Tony followed close by, firing lasers at the beast.

Thor soared from the sky, hurling lightning down on the abomination. Thor brought down the hammer onto it, but he countered by punching him. The claws broke on the hammer, but it forced the god of thunder away.

Red Action summoned up her Tank and drove it straight at Doomsday, and he didn't flinch but raced at it.

Red smiled, "This isn't chicken,"

Before Doomsday could react, Shuatura's Black Crow turned visible behind him, and both women sped up. They crashed, sandwiching Doomsday in between them.

Doomsday howled as metal twisted around him. Doomsday forced them apart even as they drove into him. Doomsday raised both vehicles ave him and slammed them together. Both occupants were teleported away.

The Boxmore bots fused into their ultimate form colliding with the beast. Doomsday moved to attack only to Find Giant-Man grow above him ad kick him away.

While in mid-air Captain Carrot kicked him a dozen times, controlling where Doomsday would crash.

Doomsday moved to attack, not noticing that Shrinking Violet had moved onto him dropping off explosives from the Honey Lemon's power Purse. Violet jumped just as the explosive went off.

Arrows hit, sending out an electric arc around him. Elodie, Rocket, any long-range attack fired on mass.

Doomsday jumped out of range when Raven let loose her Soul self freezing him over and dropping him. Beast Boy and Chameleon Boy turned into the biggest beast they could to attack him.

Before he could get up, Doomsday found Foxtail hitting him with her new ax. The next thing he saw was Metal Bat Magna attacking him together, forcing him to tumble back. Before he could even fall, Carol and Enid kicked him in his head.

Amethyst and Rose slammed their weapon onto his head. Rojo ran up, slamming her fist into what was left of his gut.

Having enough Doomsday charged striking Frightwig, Haley, Jack, and Wasabi. They were teleported away as the venom struck.

Noelle fire a torrent of water at him, hurling him away. Peridot controlled what metal she could wrangle and stabbed them into him.

Elana crashed what ships she had onto him. Genos let lose the flames on him, exploding them.

It went on like that, everyone attacks everything they had to try to bring him down, and it wasn't working. The more they fought more they were getting hurt and teleported away.

"Rose. Katara," Steve called to them, "Head back to the base. Martha is going to need your help."

They teleported back now that dozen of their allies were hurt. The Wakandan's were coving the heroes and pulling away those who needed a breather.

Steve was doing everything he could to mobilize everyone; Martian Manhunter had used his power to communicate with everyone helping them coordinate.

Some of the others had gathered, trying to come up with something.

"Any plans, anyone? Tony asked, "Cause we're back to hitting him hard, and that seems to be ticking him off. Any ideas? They can be crazy?"

Doomsday was little more than black muck and skeleton but moving as it healed mid-fight.

"What's with the lion?" Gwen asked, looking at Kero, who was still guarding Sakura.

"Talking lion is not the biggest concern right now," Tony remarked. "Gwen? You've- matured."

"I like the cape," Thor added.

Gwen seemed mesmerized by Kero and pet him.

"Okay, this is odd," Kero admitted; gold sparks of light flickered off him.

The other Kryptonians seemed to have a similar reaction, sparks of light moving towards them.

"We're not usually good with magic," Clark admitted,

"We can absorb solar energy, but that's about it," Calvin informed them.

"Uh," Kero told them, "well, I'm powered by the sun too."

"Crazy idea," Tony held out a finger.

Doomsday rained hit after hit, but Booster Gold gritted his teeth as he held out his shield to defend others.

"Sir," His robot Skeets told him, "I'm boosting your shield with my battery, but it won't hold."

"It's got to," Booster pushed, "Not again,"

The heroes from his Universe didn't have the teleportation device. They got it; it was over, so he had to stay the line as he protected a knocked Blue Beetle.

The shield shattered, and Doomsday moved for the finishing blow.

A shining light filled the air, like a new rising sun. Gwen helped them stabilize it in her unique state. The Kryptonians took the magical solar energy from Kero for a hefty power boost.

The two Supermen, Power Girl, and Gwen glowed gold as they flew as fast at they could.

The four collided with Doomsday, and that was it.

Doomsday hurled away into a nearby mountain creating a massive crater. Doomsday let out a slight rattle as it died, with most of his body broken.

Gwen transformed back to her normal form and collapsed to the ground, exhausted. Well, everyone was.

Shuri walked over to where Wakanda once stood. "It's over?"

Steve could only reply with, "Yes,"

"Promise me that those who did this will pay."

"I promise you they-"

There was a flash of light, and suddenly Wakanda was there again.

"What?"

"Yeah, sorry took us a while," The Doctor's voice rang out from the comms, "We're not much for fighting, and you looked to have it under control."

Missy's voice rang out, "I wanted to try shrinking it up; someone pointed out the energy levels were low."

"Long story short, we found Wakanda in a bottle here. We just had to get the systems to work again. The energy pulse from destroying the machine did a number on the systems here. We needed to program a whole new system."

Shuri didn't listen; she just cried, overjoyed that her home was back.

Steve stood beside her; for once in a while, it felt that they got a win.

Author's Notes:

Did you guys really think I wasn't going to save some of the heroes from MHA? I ended it on their for a cliff hanger, I didn't actually think people would think it would end there. Yeah, they were the sole survivors, at that point, no one else had survived. I mean, a couple of you did seem to figure that but I got a lot of messages about people telling me why I spent so much time for nothing.

Like, there are rules in story telling, basically don't waste time on something that isn't important. I know I sort of do that to some universe glances for universes that aren't involved. I see that more than fan service, it shows the far-reaching affects. But no, I wasn't planning on adding it just for a cope out. I was honestly surprise how many bought that.

Okay, so I'm going to say anything. I'm not a fan of Doomsday. He just an engine of destruction and doesn't have much personality. His claim to fame is that he killed Superman and it never stuck. It's like Moriarty he was created to kill one guy, and it doesn't even stick.

Okay, so here's a thing I've been hinting at for a while. That Alexis and Scarlett are actually insane and dangerous, but generally trying to do good and be better. They were on their best behavior or trying to anyway, and at this time they are sliding back into their baser selves. Actually probably worse, cause yeah this whole dusting watching their loved ones vanish can't be helpful for a person's mental health. Thats the main arc for them, some people's arcs are small.

Anyway, I'm glad this arc is over, I was staring to get real tired of it. Okay, some of the DC character will stay, not all of them but some. if you have someone you want to stay let me know. Maybe, I mean I know which ones will stay but might keep a few extra.

Also same for MHA, not everyone made it but I'd like to see who you guys would want to come in.

Next chapter will be a quick epilogue and some stuff just to relax with after all this. Might take a while got my shot coming soon and I've been doing more job interviews. Anyway, leave me a review telling me what you guys think.

Q&A:

Darthwolf: Luthors are also real arrogant. They planned to use him like a bullets shot him and just get out of there. It was a last resort thing.

Bloodyguy:Yeah shit.

themaninthemirror2000: First mostly explained in my notes. I hope this arc was good for you. I'm trying to make a situation were everyone has to step up.

Ve: Yeah, I think I mentioned it before I do plan for that to happen.

Guest 01:

1)Luthors are arrogant. If they had a chance to get a planet killer and use it as a last resort to a world they already plan on destroying why not.

I do try to give character arcs, I can't give everyone arcs, or long arcs, but I do try to show developement and give moments. I'm glad your noticing them.

2)Seriously you of all people though I'd make that error. SMH. Yes, some universes will suffer but I'm not going to build up stories and changes and character things and not do anything with them. The villains surviving is a thing later on. That I think will make sense when it starts to happen. But yeah, not everyone survive.

3) Okay, lets take this chapter as an exmaple. The heroes played it smart, trying to keep everyone safe, work together, and lets face it, if steps hadn't been taken several people would have died. How long can that last? They will try to protect each other but honestly how long can that last? Sacrifices will come.

And I can certainly understand what you mean with Steve. I think that situation is weird, not sure there was anything that would be perfect. But with Widow telling him to get a life, I think it was for him to find happiness with someone who he really understood a gelled with.
