A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 6: My Only Pride: [Part 11]
And as soon as the infiltration team entered Hueco Mundo, Byakuya shunpoed towards the place in which Rukia's weak riatsu is located.
Hoping against hope, that he isn't too late.
Rukia.
Byakuya thought worriedly. As he shunpoed faster, rivaling the Goddess of flash Yuroichi Shihoin, his mentor.

Captain Unohana and the others, just respected the squad 6th desperation and neglect.
For Byakuya did not even spare a word, before disappearing, as soon as they entered Las Noches.
At that, Unohana just turned to her subordinates, and instructed them to tend to the casualties and injured Ryokas.
At this, Hanataro and the others dispersed.
While the other captain's scanned the vicinity.
But suddenly, Aizen's voice rung everywhere, and then, all the Garganta were sealed, trapping the shinigamis in Hueco Mundo.

At this time, the 7th Espada, raised his sword to kill Rukia, who was lying unconscious on the frozen ground.

And that scene alone rattled Byakuya. As he came barging in, to stop the Espada from harming his Rukia.
Thus, the fierce fight ensued.
Using his abilities, the Espada tried to control Byakuya's arm and leg.
But the captain of 6th squad, discard his arm and leg, by cutting them without hesitation.
The fight had been decisive, as the hollow used his powers to control Rukia's unconscious body instead, and used it to cut Hanataro and fight Byakuya.
It was indeed a heart wrenching fight, as Byakuya isn't willing to cut Rukia, the way he had cut his own body parts.
And then, the Espada made Rukia point her sword on her delicate neck.
At this, Byakuya's heart had beaten wildly in fear.
He wanted nothing more at that moment, but to massacré the Espada for threatening his Rukia, and making him fight her.
And thus he used Rikojokoro, to stop Rukia from harming herself.
Anger filling him, but this never appeared on his face.

"Just because you are a shinigami, who gave you the right to kill us hollows?!" Zommari Rureaux yelled as Byakuya annihilated him with his Bankai.
Byakuya slightly tilted his face, to look at the dying 7th Espada.
"At what point did I ever claim that I am cutting you down as a Shinigami?" Byakuya asked at the defeated hollow, as he completely turned his back from him. Disgusted.
"The only reason, I have cut you… " Byakuya stated as he walked away.
"Is that… " he continued to say, as he approached the place in which he had sheltered Rukia in a protective box of spell.
"You dare to raise your sword." he stated, as he deactivated the protective shelter, and stared at Rukia's restrained body.
"On my only pride" Byakuya concluded with loath on his strained voice.
