In the Alola Region, Sarah attends her first day at the Pokemon School where she meets Ash, Pikachu and their friends. With her pokemon, Sarah will take on the Island Challenge along with Ash, but while doing the Island Challenge, Sarah discovers there may be more to her than meets the eye.

72. Chapter 71: Recipe for Success

It was a bright and beautiful Saturday morning on Melemele Island and Sarah was hanging out with Abe and Mallow at their family's restaurant with a special guest having arrived to see them and sample Mallow's family's cooking. The Akala Island Kahuna, Olivia, had popped by to get a taste of the dishes they're making and was already having a creamy vegan soup cooked up by Abe.

As there was no school during the weekend, the princess decided to spend the day with Mallow and her family to see if she and her Pokemon (Latias, Latios, Silvally, and Lolita being the ones who want to tag along) can be of help while her dragons are spending time with their children, to the Grass Type student's delight. They were both surprised to see Olivia but they couldn't pass up the offer to share Mallow's family's cooking with her.

And, they were glad they didn't because when Olivia took her first bite of Abe's stew, she immediately fell in love with it. Not only that but she was also awestruck to see Latios and Latias helping Mallow and her family at their restaurant (she couldn't get over how cute they were much to Latios' bewilderment and Latias' surprise). Also, Latias wanted to see Mallow again just so she loved all the food she makes, her sweets being her favorite, which caused her brother to join her to keep her sweet tooth in check.

"Oh my, delicious! The mellow taste of the sauce spreads throughout my mouth and adds to the velvety texture of my mouth! Abe, what's in this?" she praised in delight.

"I used just a touch of some Big Mushrooms!" he called gayly from the kitchen.

"Really, pretty rare ingredients," commented the Akala Kahuna as she got back to her stew.

While she ate, Latias and Tsareena came over with two plates of freshly-baked biscuits for her to try out.

"Tsareena."

"Laa!" they said, handing her the baked treats.

"And, these?" inquired Olivia.

"They're part of my special menu!" informed Mallow as she and Sarah joined them. "Please give them a try!"

"Now, let's see," nodded Olivia, taking a biscuit and popping it into her mouth before her eyes started twinkling as she loved the taste and texture from them. "WOW! Why they're both fluffy and chewy at the same time! Wow, what are these?"

"Thank you! But, it's what they're made of that really counts!" cheered Mallow, showing her a radish looking like a long stick. "Ta-Da! Poni Radish!"

Olivia was amazed as she stared at the long vegetable and helped herself to another biscuit, "Wow! Who knew a spicy Poni Radish, when cooked and baked the right way, could ever taste this sweet? You really did your research, didn't you?"

"I want the family restaurant to be number one in Alola! I'm working on a lot of things and I've got Sarah and her Pokemon to help me out on that, especially Latias since she loves my family's sweets so much!"

"Laa, Laa!" nodded Latias ecstatically just as Abe popped by again, looking worried.

"Mallow, Sarah, we're fresh out of those Big Mushrooms for our Big Mushroom Cream of Stew! Do you girls think you can get a few more from Teacher?" he asked, emphasizing his problem with the last Big Mushroom they have on them.

"Sure. I know, why don't I bring a Poni Radish over as a gift?"

"Huh, for Teacher?" asked Olivia, confused.

"Mallow, when you said Teacher, do you mean-?" quizzed Sarah.

"Oh, right! You and your family haven't met him yet! Oranguru Sensei; he lives in the forest, taught me a little while ago, and helped me and my father understand our problems with each other before you came along!" nodded Mallow happily, eager to see her old teacher again. "I'm sure you'll love him when we see him at his restaurant, he's one of the best Pokemon I've ever known!"

"Tsar, Tsareena!" nodded Tsareena in agreement.

CHAPTER 71 – RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

(As the recently new Power Rangers Ultra Rescue, Sarah and her friends appear just as the introductions begin to show us our main group in the story before the rest of the crew separate)

(Sarah is the first person to be introduced as she immediately performs the Zenkaiger dance with Blitz, Poipole, and Hashimoto dancing in the background)

The companions with serious yet shining spirits

(Ash is shown along with Pikachu while he joins Sarah for the Zenkaiger dance before moving on to Sophocles and Mallow's introductions and soon, they join in on the dance and their Pokémon partners gather with Sarah and Ash's Pokémon)

Be it in a parallel world, in the past, or in the future [Bang! Bang! Bang! Ba-bang!]

(Lana and Kiawe are featured as they gave affirmative smiles before they join their friends in the Zenkaiger Dance with Turtonator, Popplio, and Pyroar dancing in the background, too)

There's a miraculous bond that unites us heroes

(Lillie is the last person to be introduced as she gave a cute smile while she and Snowy joined in on the dance, unable to contain her excitement as the others can't help but dance as well)

(Latios and Latias bring up a screen showcasing a quick preview of what's to come in the current story chapter at certain points before the Beast-X King Key is inserted into the Beast-X King Activator before cutting to Sarah's Poke-X Morpher was activated before the gang morphed into action at the call of another Ultra Beast dispatch and do a group pose with their new individual weapons at hand)

(As the song reaches its climax, Sarah, the others, and their Pokémon with them continued to dance as shots of them battling Team Eclipse and their friends and Sarah's adopted family and godfather including Burnet, Kukui, Principal Oak, Nikki, James, and Tsukumaro appear in greeting as they nodded. The young rangers are then seen looking at the stars of Alola's night sky, seeing Nebula, Nebby, and the Tapu Guardians coming together for some reason as they looked like they're preparing a ceremony of sorts or getting ready to fight for a giant battle ahead of everyone)

So just do your be-be-best, that's right

There's no limit if you have the courage

(Nebby and Nebula make their way forward into battle with Eternatus (whether reformed and rehabilitated or not at the moment) following from behind them as Sarah (riding on Solar who's on Hovercycle Mode), Salamence with Eevee and Skitty on his back, Latios and Latias, and King, her Beast-X King Zord from the Beast Morphers Rangers, joined them before the lion Zord stands ready in its Ultra Sunne and Battle Modes)

(Sarah and her Pokémon family along with her dragons have fun inside their Pokémon Dragon Heart Dome as they enjoy their time together with Eternatus not paying them any attention as he continued to brood and be asleep despite Sarah's hopes of having him be fully rehabilitated and more trusting of humanity and Pokémon)

Pokémon Alola Journey Pt.3 – Dawn of Destiny

Over at Oranguru's restaurant, the Forest Cafe in Melemele Forest (a medium-sized restaurant for Pokemon with a small staircase leading to his main bar), the Grass Type Pokemon in question is quietly and busily working on a few things on his bar island with Team Rocket hanging about as they brooded over things with their syndicate over some coconut milk.

"This is Oranguru's place, the Forest Cafe, located in the Melemele Island Forest. And, today, it seems to have attracted some rather unusual customers."

"So, why does that bob-cut glasses goon gal always find reasons to blame us?" fumed Jessie over being blamed for their current fails by Giovanni's Second-In-Command, Mitori, who had been at odds with her each time they clashed. "I'm sick of that goon!"

"Working from Headquarters must be nice," agreed James, feeling jealous and bitter of Mitori as well. "All you have to do is give orders."

"'All you have to say is get results', gag me!"

"Why can't they just leave it to the team with the scene of the crime?"

"Orang," replied Oranguru as he worked, not sure how they'll solve their issues with downtrodden attitudes and jealousy.

"You guys are making too much noise!" snapped Meowth, breaking from his coconut milk. "It's supposed to be a quiet zone!"

"Oh, boo-hoo for you, Mr. Goody Two Paws!" grumbled Jessie to her and Jessie's partner.

"Jessie's right, we've been keeping it bottled up for too long!" James added in agreement just as the door opened and Team Rocket's Bewear and the older Stufful, her child and Wicke's friend, entered.

Ever since they had been reunited following Team Rocket's misadventure at Aether Paradise, they've been living their lives happily, even after he graduated early upon seeing his mother again after so much time apart. Stufful couldn't be happier to be back with his mother and wanting to make up for the time lost upon their separation, Bewear had given her child as much food and love she can give her just as Wicke had beforehand.

To be fair, Stufful did miss his old caretaker/foster mother every now and then but he was sure that one day, he would return to Aether Paradise or she would come to his and his mother's mother's forest home. She treated him just like his mother would and he would never forget her raising him no matter what for she loved him just as much as his mother did.

When Bewear and Stufful entered the Forest Cafe's bar, however, Meowth saw them and froze while Jessie and James continued to rant about their misfortunes and jealousy over Mitori and what she had to deal with while working with Giovanni and the rest of Team Rocket at their main headquarters. As they did, the two disgruntled TR members had no idea that their Pokemon caretaker and her son had arrived.

"We're not gonna take it anymore!"

"Yeah, fancy this scars down the spirit-"

They soon stopped when they felt Bewear hugging them, frankly not expecting her and her son to appear yet, especially since they didn't screw up on anything today so far.

"It's Bewear time, but I'm afraid you jumped your cue," stuttered Jessie.

"We haven't goofed up yet," added James, feeling embarrassed.

But, Jessie and James misunderstood her reason for being in the restaurant bar as she paid Oranguru with berries for a drink for her son.

"Rangu, Ran, Gu," smiled Oranguru, handing her a cup of Pinap Juice in exchange for the berries which she accepted and then gave to her thirsty son of a Stufful.

"I've just been sitting here quietly like a good pokemon..." squirmed Meowth worriedly, only to get a light and soothing pat on the head from his, Jessie, and James' gentle giant caretaker.

"Wear, Wear, Wear," she replied, glad to see that he's taking contemplation through peace and quiet.

"Aww, isn't that sweet? I'm the best good Pokemon," swooned the talking Scratch Pokemon, before the Strong Arm Pokemon left the restaurant to have Jessie and James to have them continue to help her take care of her only son.

No sooner after Bewear and her son left with Jessie and James in tow for their forest abode, Mallow and Tsareena had arrived and brought Sarah, Latios, Latias, Silvally, and Lolita to Oranguru's restaurant to ask her teacher for the Big Mushrooms she and her family needed.

"Well, here we are!" she chirped happily, showing her Oranguru's restaurant.

"So, this is Oranguru Sensei's Forest Cafe," remarked Sarah as she looked at the place.

"You're kidding, he lives in this old shack?" put in Silvally, sweatdropping from what he's seeing.

"So, does Oranguru really live and work in this little restaurant? It's almost like those out-of-the-way places that locals say only the best food can be made there," said the princess.

"Yeah, my family and I have been following food shows like Bizarre Foods on that. I first met Teacher last year when my family's restaurant became famous in the news and my dad was too busy talking to a news reporter to help out. It got so crazy for me that I couldn't handle the pressure and I ran off before I hurt my leg and Teacher came to help me."

"Sounds like you had it rough with the paparazzi and Abe became distracted to realize that he's put the restaurant's fame first before his own family and he helped you two with your family issue."

"That's how it went and it worked out, especially since Teacher's an old friend of Dad and he met him the same way I did when he was my age. You could say that aside from being a great Pokemon cook, he's our Mary Poppins when he helped us with our little family predicament."

"When you put it like that, he really does seem like that. You think he has any Big Mushrooms for us to bring back to your restaurant?"

"Yep, and not only that, I want you to try out some of the things he made so you can get a feel of everything he does. This restaurant of his is amazing, Sarah, almost every Pokemon on the island or Alola come for miles just to eat here. It's practically a Pokemon foodie gathering place!"

Leading the way for Sarah and her Pokemon family joining them and entering the bar with their Poni Radish at hand, Tsareena and Mallow found Oranguru at his bar and were delighted to see him.

"Alola!"

"Tsareena!" they greeted, opening the door and entering with their friends close behind as they looked around.

"Teacher, do you happen to have any Big Mushrooms? Look, I brought you a Poni Radish!"

Accepting the Poni Radish his old student gave him, Teacher went to his storage area to find any Big Mushrooms for her family's restaurant.

"Laa, Laa..." cooed Latios, finding it to be somewhat homey with a tropical despite its humble and moderate size.

"I guess it's gonna be noisy all over again," groaned Meowth, hearing Mallow and catching the group's attention as he sipped his Pinap Juice.

"Hey, you! You're Meowth from Team Rocket-!" cried Mallow, pointing as she and Tsareena glared suspiciously at her before Sarah gently held her shoulder and shook her head, wanting to keep her from doing something stupid.

"Meowth, you're from Team Rocket, aren't you? Why did you decide to come here, anyway?" Sarah asked cautiously, wanting to know his motives.

"For starters, Your Highness, can we have a little quiet? This just happens to be my one day off, I just wanted to cool myself off with a little Pinap Juice without any twerps cackling."

"I see... So, I guess this shows you guys are klutzes but you're not malicious. Okay, then I guess we'll take it," she replied slowly, not expecting a response such as this.

"Oranguru, Rang?" asked Teacher, pointing to some Big Mushrooms he has on display for his cooking before he noticed Sarah and her Pokemon. "Oranguru?"

"Yes, they're perfect!" Mallow cried happily before she remembered Sarah, the Eon Siblings, Silvally, and Lolita. "Oh, right! Sorry, I forgot. This is Sarah, the Sun Princess. And, these are four of her Pokemon joining us, Latios and his sister, Latias, Silvally, and her family's Royal Pokemon, Lolita!"

"Oran! Oranguru, Rangu, Rangu!" smiled Teacher brightly, amazed to have any living members of the last Alolan Royal Family and some surprise customers joining his pupil and her partner as he got the Big Mushrooms and prepared five cups of Pinap Juice for them for free on their first visit.

As he prepared his drinks for his new guests, a sextet of Perrsimian entered the cafe as Teacher greeted them warmly, happy to see who are locals or tourists (who could also be regulars at his restaurant) coming for a meal and/or a drink.

"Rangu, Rangu?" he asked, wondering what they'll like.

"Okay, is it just me or am I seeing a sextet of grown apes crowding the place here?" snarked Silvally in surprise.

"I think this place just got itself some customers even after going quiet for a bit," put in Sarah, also surprised to see the Grass/Fighting Types piling the restaurant.

"A group of Pasimmian," breathed Mallow.

"What's with the shocked expression?" questioned Meowth, not understanding the group's surprise.

"I had no idea Teacher has Pokemon customers!"

"Hey, wait! You're telling me this joint also has Pokemon crowding around for a few eats or something and not humans or not just Mallow and her Pops? Oh, great! Now, I've seen everything, AGAIN!" cried the Synthetic Pokemon, exasperated.

"I never thought his place would also serve Pokemon, either!" added Sarah, also in disbelief.

"Meow, Meow, Meowth!" nodded Lolita, astounded.

"Hey, I'm a Pokemon," Meowth snarked, a little offended as he continued to sip his Pinap Juice.

"Oh, oops. Sorry," chuckled the two girls sheepishly before they noticed five finished Pinap Juice cups for Sarah and her Pokemon.

"Rangu, Ran," replied Teacher, offering his cups to their growing surprise.

"Oh, wow. Thank you, but we don't have any money," Sarah began until Mallow smiled at her.

"Hey, don't be such a Slowpoke on your first cup of Pinap Juice from Teacher, Sarah! Go ahead, it tastes great!" she replied.

"Tsareena!" agreed Tsareena.

"Well, okay," Sarah said before she turned to her Pokemon as the Passimian nodded encouragingly. "Well, guys, what do you say?"

"Well, I'm all for it. I was kinda starving since we didn't eat yet. So, what's it matter?" remarked Silvally, feeling himself getting thirsty as he joined his human mother.

"Laa, Laa, Laaaaa, Laaa, Laa," nodded Latios, wondering what could go wrong with their new drinks as Latias took her cup.

"Meow, Meow, Meowth," Lolita agreed, getting onto the bar and grabbing her cup.

"All right, if you say so," sighed the princess at last as she took her cup and they prepared to drink. "Bottoms up."

Together, after their short toast, they sipped their Pinap Juice together. But, when they tasted it, their eyes suddenly lit up as if something had triggered in them once they drank their drinks from Teacher. They didn't know it yet but it looked as though they stumbled upon a simple masterpiece by a master Pokemon chef's hands.

"AI-YI-YI!" screamed Sarah with joy as her face scrunched up and twinkled in delight from the crazy-good taste of Teacher's Pinap Juice, getting similar ecstatic cries from her Pokemon.

"Meow, Meow, Meowth, Meowth!" cried Lolita ecstatically, saying how fantastic the Pinap Juice was.

"Laa, Laa!" cheered Latias as she downed her Pinap Juice.

"Laaaaaaaa!" agreed Latios, his eyes still twinkling.

"This Pinap Juice is delicious!" commented Sarah excitedly.

"I could go for seconds!" barked Silvally, feeling like he's not getting enough of Teacher's Pinap Juice, their reactions making the Passimian group, Teacher, Mallow, and Tsareena smile brightly at them.

Meanwhile, back at the restaurant, it was getting busy with a few more customers coming in following Olivia's visit. At this time, Ash, having borrowed a pan from her and Abe, was about to return it upon entering. However, he had no idea that Mallow and Sarah were busy getting Big Mushrooms and the princess and her family's first meeting with Teacher at the Forest Cafe.

"Alola! Hey, Mallow, I brought back the pan you gave me and-huh?" he called, stopping in surprise when he saw Olivia, in an apron, helping Abe with serving the customers in Mallow's place.

"Hello, Ash, come in!" greeted Olivia.

Ash was delighted to see his old friend again but he couldn't help but feel confused about why she would be helping Abe while Mallow and Sarah are gone. While the latter two had gone to the Forest Cafe to get the Big Mushrooms they needed from Teacher, this left Abe needing help to run the restaurant while they were away and he was only too happy to not have Olivia help him. Her presence left the customers coming as quite a surprise and a stir of excitement, some of them eagerly coming to eat with an Island Kahuna around.

"It's Olivia!" gasped Rotom-Dex, not expecting her to be in the restaurant.

"Why are you working here?" asked the Kanto Trainer.

"Mallow and Sarah had to run an errand togther and I-!" Olivia began but she eventually stumbled and tripped, causing the glasses she was carrying to fall off and break, which she chuckled from her slip-up. "Couldn't be better!"

"If that's the case, then that's pretty bad!" ranted Rotom-Dex, covered in water from a glass that fell upon him.

"I think Rotom may be right... 'Kay, I'll help!" remarked Ash, eager to lend a hand.

"Mind if we give you and your friend there, Sir Ash?" replied Tsukumaro, stepping into the restaurant, having made plans to see his goddaughter and with Salamence, Mulan, Houndoom, Absol, and Braviary, tagged along by Danny and Danielle, joining him. "I'm sure you will need help from a few familiar faces with me who know the place well."

Back to Mallow and Sarah at the Forest Cafe; while Teacher is prepping some Pinap Juice for his customers, the two girls and their Pokemon (with Sarah, Latios, Latias, Silvally, and Lolita still having their first cups) couldn't help but look on as the Passimian sextet all chatted away about different things as they all waited.

"You sure got a lot of customers, it's hard work," commented Mallow to Teacher.

"Must be pretty hard considering you live here and run the place alone," agreed Sarah. "But, I suppose the best food and drinks can only come from the masters themselves given a need for quality control and how much love went into what you're making."

"Why don't you lighten up your workload and get 'em outta here?" requested Meowth as he continued to sip his Pinap Juice.

Perking from Meowth's idea and knowing that they can help Teacher, Mallow and Sarah nodded in agreement and got to work, the former putting two straws into two of the coconut Pinap Juice cups he had finished.

"Guru?" asked Teacher in surprise.

"We can help!" offered Mallow before she took the cups to the Passimians while Sarah helped with the others. "Here you go!"

The Passimians being served cheered as their Pinap Juice was being served to them like clockwork now that Teacher had a few more hands to help him around the Forest Cafe. "Here you are, guys, bottoms up! All for you!" added Sarah, the Passimian sextet cheering as they drank their Pinap Juice.

Teacher was amazed as he looked not; not only had Mallow and her friend helped him with serving his customers, they were ecstatic by the service they were given and had nothing but praise for all three of them. They were also delighted to have been taken care of and served by the Lost Princess as well since whatever confirmed rumors about her royal lineage had spread throughout Alola amongst the Pokemon when they got wind of her.

Later, as the Passimian sextet had finished their drinks, they left for home as they happily paid for their Pinap Juice with a large coconut and said goodbye to Mallow, Sarah, and Teacher.

"Ranguru, Rang," smiled Teacher.

"Take care, you guys!"

"Thank you so much!" the two girls called as they disappeared into the rainforest before they turned to Teacher with Mallow's errand still on their minds. "So, Teacher, the Big Mushrooms?"

But, just before Teacher can give them the Big Mushrooms as he picked up the coconut, a Gumshoos entered the Forest Cafe for a drink. "Shoos, Shoos, Shoos," he said, gently pushing the surprised pair aside before he got up onto the bar.

"Hey, that's a Gumshoos," noted Mallow curiously.

"Yeah, doesn't it seem familiar to you, guys?" quipped Sarah.

"You're right, I've seen that dude before with that cop roaming the streets whenever we go to the city," remarked Silvally, looking at the Normal Type closer.

"He works with Officer Jenny," Meowth replied, the two of them gasping and remembering that the Gumshoos before them is actually Officer Jenny's partner, Totem Gumshoos.

"Meow! Meow, Meowth, Meow, Meowth!" gasped Lolita, now remembering Jenny's Partner Pokemon.

"I wonder if Gumshoos is off duty today if the Bad Cops Seven aren't with him right now," pondered Mallow.

"I guess they're covering for him on an important job and he decided to relax for a bit before he could get back to work," theorized Sarah.

"Laa, Laa, Laaaa, Laa, Laaaa?" asked Latias, wondering what Totem Gumshoos would like from Teacher's restaurant.

"Gumshoos," answered Gumshoos, paying with a Pecha Berry.

"That's the only thing that Gumshoos ever orders when he comes in here," translated Meowth as Teacher searched through his options.

"Wow, only one drink?" breathed Sarah in surprise.

"Rangu, Ran, Rangu, Rangu, Guru?" asked Teacher, turning to Mallow and Sarah for their help.

"Who, us?" replied Mallow, intrigued.

"I think he wants us to see which drink Totem Gumshoos likes. There's only one thing amongst Teacher's supplies that Gumshoos can only drink and he wants us to figure out what it is," put in Sarah, getting an affirming smile and nod as he asked for their help.

"And, he also said you do the serving this time," added Meowth, but not thinking too highly of them being much help. "But, if I were you, I'd quit while you ladies are ahead. It's out of your league, don't even try."

Mallow and Sarah looked at each other before they turned to Totem Gumshoos. This was definitely a big task for them since they'll need to decide and figure out what kind of drink Totem Gumshoos likes out of everything Teacher offers in his Forest Cafe. But, seeing as how they helped him with his previous order from the Passimians, he knew they'd be of great help and wanted the two to prove themselves.

It was then that they made their decision as they gave a determined nod to him, much to Meowth's bewilderment. "Then, we'll gladly give it our best shot!" declared the Grass Type student as she and Sarah joined him with Latias tagging along.

"Laa, Laa!"

"Meowth!"

"Yeah! Put it all to bed, Mom!" nodded Latios, Lolita, and Silvally proudly.

"Tsareena, Tsar, Tsar!" cheered Tsareena.

"Okay, so we got pineapples, coconuts, the Big Mushrooms, ginger... Hmm..." pondered Sarah as they looked at their options available.

"What Gumshoos likes, what Gumshoos likes," thought Mallow, thinking of what kind of drink Totem Gumshoos only likes from the Forest Cafe. "What does Totem Gumshoos like?"

She then thought back to one night when Totem Gumshoos was having a late-night snack while on duty and got himself a glass of Moo-Moo Milk to go with a biscuit he was eating. Then, she remembered what kind of drink the Normal Type Totem Pokemon would only want from the place.

"Yes, that's it! I know!" she perked up, grabbing a tankard of Moo-Moo Milk with Latias' help and serving it on another coconut cup to Totem Gumshoos. "Here's your favorite, some farm fresh Moo-Moo Milk!"

"Of course, I remember Officer Jenny telling us one time that his favorite beverage is fresh Moo-Moo Milk from a farm - Kiawe's family's farm!"

And, the results showed just that; recognizing his favorite drink, Totem Gumshoos immediately gulped his whole cup down in one go, a bright smile on his face over having his favorite drink.

"Gumshoos!" he thanked happily, to Mallow, Teacher, and Sarah's joy.

"Nice job, Mallow," nodded Sarah proudly.

Meowth was surprised as he nearly fell out of his seat, balking. "How did she do that, she's a twerpette!" he cried in disbelief.

"Thanks a lot, come back again!"

"See ya back in the city, Totem Gumshoos!" called Sarah as Totem Gumshoos left to return to his partner and resume his duties.

"She got lucky," mumbled Meowth, thinking it was a lucky shot Mallow pulled.

"Orangu," said Teacher, beckoning his student and her friend to follow him.

"Teacher?" asked Mallow, confused before she, Sarah, and their Pokemon decided to join him.

"Hey. Where are you guys going?" pondered Meowth, quickly joining them.

A little ways off from the Forest Cafe, Teacher took Mallow, Sarah, and their Pokemon to a small field that is his own garden filled with plants housing ripe berries from Pecha Berries to Kelpsy Berries and Tomato Berries to Belue Berries. Mallow, Sarah, and their Pokemon were in awe as they looked around at the berries that Teacher had been growing for his restaurant. He had more than enough to satisfy his customers coming in aside from the payment he was given. It was an Alolan farmer's small berry paradise.

"Wow, this is amazing! Are you growing all of these berry bushes?" Mallow gasped, completely amazed at the sight of her mentor's berry garden.

"Rangu, Ran," confirmed Teacher, feeling a little proud of the berries he's growing for his customers as he began picking.

"I can't believe it, there's practically every berry being grown around here!" agreed Sarah, awestruck by the sight of the berries that Teacher had been growing.

"Seriously, dude, how do you take time between food shifts to grow this wacky treasure trove?" gawked Silvally, taking in the many berry bushes.

"Who knew? I didn't know there was a place like this," said Meowth, surprised by the sight of Teacher's berry farm.

"Ruu, Ranguru," continued Teacher, taking a few ripe Pinap Berries his Pinap Juice drinks came from and putting them in a basket.

"Do you want us to help you pick out the ripe ones?" gasped Mallow in delight.

"Ranguru," nodded Teacher happily, wanting Mallow, her partner, and her friend along with Silvally, Lolita, Latias, and Latios to pick out the best berries for him while he looks after the restaurant.

"Tsareena!"

"Just leave it to us! Come on, Sarah, we got some berries to pick!" cheered Mallow and Tsareena as they got to work while Oranguru returned to the Forest Cafe.

"Okay. Silvally, Latios, Latias, Lolita, come on!" called Sarah as she joined her fellow student and best friend.

"Oh, great. Here's the part when we would have to work to get want we wanted and I wanted another sip of that Pinap Juice," sighed Silvally as he, Lolita, and the Eon Siblings went over to give the girls and Tsareena a hand.

"Hmm, I wonder what that Inn keeps thinking about, anyway," pondered Meowth, stumped as to what Teacher was thinking regarding Mallow and Sarah.

Back at Aine's Kitchen, while Mallow, Sarah, and their Pokemon were still at the Forest Cafe doing their berry picking, Kiawe had arrived aboard Charizard. The two of them have with them a tankard of farm-fresh Moo-Moo Milk that Mallow and Abe had ordered a little while ago but like Ash, the Fire Type student had no idea that Mallow was away on her errand and helping Teacher with his customers.

"Alola! Here's your Moo-Moo Milk delivery!" he called, bringing the tankard in but staring in surprise over Ash helping to serve the customers with Danny and Danielle giving him a hand in case he dropped something. "Huh, what are you doing here, Ash?"

"Kiawe! Perfect timing, man!" cried Ash, delighted to see him.

"Timing?" puzzled Kiawe before they heard and saw Olivia trip and Danielle squeal in panic before she used Psychic to save the food the Akala Kahuna nearly dropped by accident as Pikachu stared at her.

"Alola, Kiawe," she greeted sheepishly leaving both Kiawe and Ash nervous and speechless.

"So, that's what you mean..." he replied.

Meanwhile, while things were getting topsy-turvy back at their family's restaurant, Mallow and Tsareena were finding and picking out the ripe berries Oranguru needed and gathering them in the baskets he brought for them. Because they learned how to pick out the best berries while the Grass Type students were growing up and thanks to Tsareena's keen sense of smell, Mallow was able to teach Sarah and her family joining them how to figure out which berries are the ripe ones among the rest.

With the Fruit Pokemon leading the way on their end, Latios, Lolita, Latias, and Silvally (who was given his Grass Type Memory Drive to assist her in picking them out), everyone carefully chose the best and ripest berries Teacher needed for his Forest Cafe. It used to be time-consuming for Teacher when he had to pick them out himself before Mallow and Sarah gave him a hand according to what the two girls knew about the process but they wholeheartedly knew that it was for him to ensure quality in his products to his customers and that made things more interesting and fun for them.

"This one smells yummy," sighed Mallow, finding a perfect Pecha Berry after sniffing it.

"Laa, Laa!" chirped Latias happily as she sniffed out and picked out some fresh Pecha Berries before she tried to eat them.

"Laa, Laa, Laa," stopped Latios, taking one of the berries from his sister with Sarah taking the other as they put them in their basket, making her pout cutely as she crossed her arms.

"Not so fast, Latias. Gotta keep pickin' them all, right? We got some customers coming waiting for all their food and drinks," replied the princess.

Meowth was still spying from one of the other berry bushes and while he was impressed, he didn't see berry picking as hard as it really is. "Any slouch can pick ripe berries as they can, it's like falling off a log," he remarked, unknowingly grabbing a Tamato Berry and eating it before...He then burned his mouth as he immediately blew out fire from it.

Tsareena and the others were busy picking out the other berries so they didn't likely hear him scream from the pain in his mouth but Lolita looked behind her to find her Kanto counterpart and his lips completely red from the Tamato Berry he accidentally ate. She couldn't help but develop a poker face and snigger uncontrollably at him for his mistake as he commented on how hot the Tamato Berries are and fell back.

But then, something caught Tsareena's attention at the corner of her eye above them and she glared suspiciously at what she found as if she found trouble from an unexpected source.

"Tsareena," she called to the group as they joined her.

"What's wrong, Tsareena?" asked Mallow, her partner pointing her, Sarah, and her family to what looked to be a small flock of five Fearow, all of them circling as if they're stalking a sort of prey they found or for reasons.

Meowth, thinking the worst from the way the Fearow flock was taking things and not understanding why they would come to the Forest Cafe, panicked and hurried to get Teacher to help them with their problem. "It's a flock of Fearow! And, I think they're flocking this way! Inky, trouble at 12 o'clock!" he freaked, running back and getting the Oranguru chef as he thought of the worst.

"Step on it, those Fearow will make your berries history!"

"Orangu," reassured Teacher as if he saw what's really happening.

"Huh? What are you waiting for, let's book it!" protested Meowth, leaving Teacher to point to Mallow and Sarah tending to the Fearow flock, who are actually customers coming to eat.

One of them even gave them a Rainbow Pokebean as a special payment to have a meal at the Forest Cafe, to which the girls and their Pokemon warmly accepted.

"Teacher, you got Fearow customers! See this, it's a present!" replied Mallow happily, showing Teacher the Rainbow Pokebean given to them.

"I hope you have something for us to give to them, they're looking pretty hungry," added Sarah, petting one of the Fearow.

"Aww! No way!" balked Meowth in disbelief. "You're kidding!"

"Rangu, Ran," chuckled Teacher, feeling honored to have more customers come over.

After picking all of their ripened berries from Oranguru's garden and taking them back to the Forest Cafe, Mallow and Sarah set to work again. This time, unlike with the Passimian sextet and Totem Gumshoos with their Pinap Juice and Moo-Moo Milk, they now have to choose the berries that the Fearow flock would like to eat coming to Teacher's restaurant.

"Hmm, now let's see. What would Fearow like to eat?" puzzled Mallow, looking over the berries she, Sarah, and their Pokemon had picked out.

She looked over the berries and thought hard before she nodded as if the Grass Type student had something of another idea to see what the Fearow flock would want to eat. "Sarah, can you make a checklist of the berries and whatever we have for the Pokemon coming in? I want us to see what it is that they want out of their personal input," she ordered, preparing to see which berries the Fearow preferred.

"I could if we have any pencil and paper," she replied until the princess was given a little journal and a pencil from her satchel courtesy of Latias. "Oh, yeah. I bought that for school earlier, thanks."

"Laa, Laa!" nodded Latias with a chirpy smile as Sarah wrote down the supplies they got and what they would check out for each Pokemon customer(s).

Then, Mallow got to work on showing the Fearow which berries the Fearow flock would like to have. First, she tried offering Nanab Berries which left them uninterested. Next, she tried giving them Tamato Berries which didn't fly well with them (metaphorically, of course). Then, she showed them some Belue Berries which got them cawing excitedly and from their feedback, Mallow knew exactly what they wanted as Sarah crossed out the berries they didn't want.

"Okay, got it! So, if they like Belue berries... Of course, Durin Berries!" she chuckled, looking at and picking some Durin Berries.

"How about that, sour and bitter," remarked Silvally as Mallow and Sarah made five smoothies from the berries they selected while he, Meowth, Lolita, Latios, and Latias watched in awe through the door. "Makes sense but I'm not eating those, no how, no way."

"Laaa..." nodded Latios, not eager to try anything of them.

Even Teacher couldn't help but stare at them in awe and fascination from the idea to combine Durin Berries and Belue Berries to create Belue-Durin Smoothies his young student came up with and smiled from the work they got from their experience in cooking with their families and friends.

"Ta-Da! All done, you guys, five farm-fresh Belue-Durin Smoothies just for you! Order up!" called Sarah as she and Mallow served the Fearow flock, perking them up and giving their heartiest thanks before they ate away at them happily, loving the sour and bitter taste they provided.

"Well, how about that? They really love that stuff!" Meowth quipped, still in disbelief. "Where did you two get the idea to combine Belue and Durin Berries?"

"Lillie showed us the recipe a while back while we and Lana were over at her house for a sleepover," answered Mallow, smiling. "She told Sarah and I that Pokemon who like Belue Berries also like Durin Berries."

Teacher's proud smile widened as he listened, knowing it was a great idea to have his student and her friend give him a hand since their cooking experience and the lessons they learned in preparing and making food from their families and friends helped to bring a new twist to the food and drinks he usually served to his customers.

And, their work and effort from that same experience and the lessons they were taught continued to be shown through their work as they and Teacher created and served a freshly-made bamboo salad to a male Pangoro and his Pancham son, who wolfed it down happily to the last bites they both have. A Heracross couple came by to have a meal and they've given them a sap smoothie to share together.

Teacher even whipped up one of his specials, a Flower Nectar Spring, for two Cutiefly and a Ribombee coming over to eat. Although, while they did struggle to figure out what a Magikarp customer wanted, they eventually worked out what it wanted while Tsareena, Latias, Latios, Silvally, and Lolita helped wash the dishes and spruced up the place for the next rounds of customers coming in as they and Teacher worked.

As they worked, Meowth looked on as he sipped another cup of Pinap Juice, unsure of what to say about their growing success.

Then, a large wild Drampa popped over at the Forest Cafe looking for a meal and his presence delighted Mallow as she looked over to him gleefully. His presence, however, got surprised yelps from Lolita, Latias, Latios, Sarah, and Silvally as they jumped when his head came from through the door.

"Hey! Who's the gramps here?!" exclaimed Silvally, gawking in shock and surprise.

"Ha-ha-ha! It's Grandpa Forest! Welcome, just one sec!" greeted Mallow happily before she took some Bittersweet Berries and squeezed them, knowing exactly what he wanted.

"Grandpa Forest, you mean that same Grandpa Forest you and Lana told me about who helped you guys after you first became friends when you were kids?" gasped Sarah, unable to take in Grandpa Forest's size.

Mallow giggled as she served her drink to her old friend, "The very same! Here you go, my special Bittersweet Thirst Quencher!"

Grandpa Forest, delighted over his favorite berries being used, happily gulped down Mallow's dish and letting out a happy roar that surprised Sarah and Teacher but got a happy smile from his old friend. This suggested to the little princess that Bittersweet Berries are his favorite kind of berry and quickly jotted it down as she watched him chuckle from seeing Latias chirp at him happily.

"Thank goodness!" Mallow said.

Meowth was impressed as he breathed, "Everything the green-haired twerpette and the princess make, the Pokemon seem to fall in love with it."

"Yeah, Mallow's great and all. But, our Mother, she's in a completely different class," chuckled Silvally, shaking his head with a knowing smile at her and Mallow.

However, back over at Mallow's family's restaurant, Sophocles, Lillie, Lana, and their Pokemon partners had arrived to see what was going on as they passed by and noticed the crowd of people awaiting their orders and or enjoying the Pokemon putting on a small show for them as they waited.

"Wow, what a crowd," gawked Sophocles, seeing the entire restaurant packed.

"Here's your order coming up!" called Kiawe to a customer before he saw his and Ash's friends staring in surprise. "Hey, you guys, perfect timing! Help us, please!"

Seeing how things are going and not knowing what happened to Mallow and Sarah (after noticing Tsukumaro, Houndoom, Danny, Danielle, Braviary, Absol, Mulan, and Salamence giving Abe, Ash, Kiawe, and Olivia a hand themselves), Lana, Sophocles, Lillie, and their partners got their aprons on and went to work to keep the influx of customers satisfied.

The workload was intense yet steadily flowing as customers came in with the group taking turns in helping out Abe in the kitchen prepare and create the food and serving the completed dishes to their respective customers before taking the finished dishes to the back for washing. So far, everything seemed to be going well as they maintained a steady working pace with Mallow and Sarah having been gone for a while (none of them knowing about them staying over at the Forest Cafe to give Teacher a hand).

"Here's your order!" called Mallow as Houndoom gave her a hand in serving a bowl of food from the serving tray atop of his back.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, here!" replied Lillie to another customer, serving a bowl of stew with Mulan's assistance.

"Where did Mallow and Sarah go, anyway?" asked Sophocles to Ash, unsure of where they are.

"They had an errand to run over at Oranguru's place," answered Ash, taking some dishes to the back.

Abe was almost finished making two Pinap Juice glasses for two more customers when Rotom Dex popped up and called, "We need ten more Pinap Juices!"

This left Abe balking as he sped up his work from the mention of the extensive order. "Ten more Pinap Juices? Oh boy, I gotta hurry up!" he fretted.

Olivia was doing her best to help out as well while taking some empty bowls in her hands but she accidentally tripped and dropped them but not before Danny noticed and quickly used Psychic to hold the bowls and juggle them like balls, saving them from falling on the floor and getting a small round of applause from the customers from his little show.

"Ah, thanks so much, Danny! You're the best!" replied Olivia with relief and joy.

"I still need ten more Pinap Juice-YIPE!" called Rotom-Dex again as he was swiped away by Braviary to keep him from putting so much pressure on Abe and to have him help out with the dishes.

"AHH! Mallow, Sarah, where are you?! Hurry up!" he cried out to his daughter and her friend as he finished his order, still not knowing they're helping Teacher at the Forest Cafe.

As the day went on, dusk finally fell at the Forest Cafe and it was time for one of Teacher's night shifts as a wild Shinotic came into the restaurant and sat on a little swing on the ceiling, acting as a night light. It had been a busy day for the two girls and their Pokemon partner and family but they were having the time of their lives serving all the Pokemon customers coming to eat and drink at Teacher's restaurant.

With each customer coming in (including some old friends popping by for a meal as well), they learned and applied their prior cooking experience and lessons into each and every dish they served to the Pokemon in question.

Even Meowth was still a little impressed as he requested another cup of Pinap Juice and was served one by Mallow while things were winding down on their end Teacher's end.

"Here you go, Meowth," smiled Mallow, serving Meowth his Pinap Juice.

"So, did you make that?" he questioned, making Mallow nod kindly to him before he took a skeptical sip and blushed in amazement. "It's better than good!"

"Glad you like it," smiled Mallow again before she turned to the door for another or the last customers coming in. "Welcome! Uh...?"

But, when the trio looked over to the door, they could see nobody coming. They were confused, there was somebody coming in for a last meal before the Forest Cafe was due to close for the night, right?

"What's going on?" asked Meowth, getting Latios, Latias, Silvally, and Lolita's attention as they looked to the door as well.

"Lolita?" called Lolita, wanting to know who's out there.

"Okay, am I missing something here?" quizzed Silvally, raising a skeptical eyebrow. "This had better not be some kind of prank a skunky little Pokemon's pulling or I'm gonna freak."

A cooing sound, meaning to sound like it was reassuring Silvally that there was no prank being pulled, got everyone's attention again as they looked and found an unexpected customer in the form of Melemele's Tapu Guardian, Tapu Koko. Needless to say, the sight of Tapu Koko paying a visit as the last Forest Cafe customer left everyone reeling in shock.

"It can't be!"

"No way!"

"You?!"

"Laa, Laa, Laa!"

"Meow, Meowth!"

"Tsareena, Tsar!"

"Laaaa, Laaaa!"

"Tapu Koko?!" gasped Meowth and Sarah and Lana with their Pokemon.

"Hello! Hey, Gramps, you in there? We'd like a little something before we crash for toinght, please!" called a familiar gruff-sounding voice soon after, getting their attention again.

"Huh?" gasped Mallow in surprise as she, Meowth, and Sarah turned to the door again.

"Hello, Old Man! We'd like to order from your food shack, man!" added a teenage girl's voice, making Sarah gasp.

"Wait a minute, I know those voices!" gawked Sarah.

The door opened and then, to their shock and amazement, who should enter the Forest Cafe and take a seat for a meal but Zeraora, Zorua, and the Swords of Justice.

"YEOW! Am I seeing or am I dreaming?!" screamed Meowth, completely flabbergasted as he nearly stumbled out of his chair.

"Zeraora, Zorua?"

"Teachers!" gawked Mallow and Sarah again, completely not expecting six more surprise customers to enter the Forest Cafe.

"Teachers?! No way! Royal Twerpette, are you telling me you're being trained by the Legendary Swords of Justice from the Unova Region, FOR REAL?!" cried Meowth, reeling once again from the unexpected truth.

"Surprise! I'm sure we'd seen a lot of things but never have we expected you and your friend to be working with Old Man in his humble food shack, he-he-he!" sniggered Zorua.

"Well, I see you're handling yourselves well on the front food lines, Princess! You and your friend have really made some Pokemon living around this place happy judging from the happy smiles we're seeing on their faces," replied Terrakion with a hearty laugh.

"That's nice but why are you even here?" Sarah asked, trying to get over her shock which made Zorua snigger at her again and got an amused snort and smile from Zeraora.

"Duh, he-he-he! Isn't it obvious, we're honorary regulars at this place!"

"...WHAT? You mean to tell me you've been eating here at Teacher's place for a while now?! A-Are you serious?!" screamed Sarah, her eyes now bugging out.

"You could say that, Princess. Teacher had heard about us when we first arrived in Alola and when the Pokemon directed us to his place, he was honored to have us as customers," smiled Virizion. "I'll admit, we were impressed when we got our first taste of what he has for everyone coming around his restaurant to order."

"And, ever since we came here upon arriving to give you a hand with your training, we've been making rounds here whenever we're done with our own training! Oranguru's the best!" cheered Keldeo.

Teacher noticed his six surprise customers and smiled as he approached them. "Oranguru," he greeted them, making Meowth realize what they were on about.

"Huh?! Hey, wait, hold the phone! You mean to tell me that Tapu Koko, Zeraora, Zorua, and the Swords of Justice are regulars around here?!" he balked, still unable to get over his shock.

"Guru, Orang," Teacher requested as he turned to Mallow and Sarah again, allowing them to figure out and serve what the six Pokemon would like to have.

"Huh, you want me to serve Tapu Koko?" Mallow questioned in surprise, gesturing to Tapu Koko.

"And, you want me to serve Zeraora, Zorua, and the Swords?" added Sarah, still flabbergasted.

"Geez, Mother, that's a lot of pressure being put on you guys," murmured Silvally, slightly worried. "I mean, six Pokemon-five being Legendaries and a prankster fox-six meals on the tail-end of this joint's rounds. You sure you can juggle that?"

"Well, I guess there's no harm in trying. We've come this far and we've gotten a lot of happy customers throughout the day but..." conceded Sarah before she began thinking hard on the monumental task ahead of her and Mallow.

"Uh, no, no, no, it's just that-" Mallow began worriedly before Teacher gently grabbed her and smiled, reassuring her that she can do it after being such a big help and to not let her fear of failing to make everybody happy keep her from doing what she loved even in the face of an unexpected customer like Tapu Koko.

He then extended the same sentiment to Sarah, knowing that she must also have some doubts and worries about failing from serving her old friends and her mentors what they wanted properly.

"Tsar, Tsareena!"

"Laa, Laa!" nodded Tsareena and Latias determinedly in agreement, encouraging them to give it a go.

"Tsareena, Latias?" Mallow gasped before she grew silent for a moment, looked at Sarah, and they both became determined. "All right! Then, we'll give it our best shot!"

"Right. Now, whatever you do, don't worry about stumbling over what Tapu Koko would like to eat. Play around for a bit and experiment what he likes," informed Sarah.

"You got it," nodded Mallow.

"And, remember. We got this, I've got several types of Pokemon on me whenever I'm dealing with this sort of thing and in our case, we got Grass, Rock, Steel, Water, Fighting, Electric, and Fairy. Besides, you know what Andrew Zimmern always said, 'If it looks good, eat it'. Let's follow things up with that."

Mallow nodded again with a determined smile, her confidence growing, "Right!"

Teacher smiled from the pep talk Sarah had given to his student; after seeing how well they bounce off of each other as they worked together, he could tell that they've got a strong bond of friendship brewing from their enjoyment and love for cooking. It's obvious that like with Abe back then, Mallow is in good hands.

And so, taking the Poni Radish she delivered for Teacher, Mallow set to work on creating a dish for Tapu Koko with Latias and Tsareena assisting her while Sarah saddled herself with her old friends and the Swords of Justice to see what they wanted from Teacher's restaurant.

"Okay, guys. Let's get your order started," mused Sarah as she, Lolita, Latios, and Silvally looked over their remaining abundance of supplies. "Hey, Mallow, since the Swords of Justice are from Unova, what berries do they usually see over there?"

"Well, since they're from the Unova Region, they'll likely have seen a lot of Belue and Durin Berries while they've been traveling and they're really rare in the rest of the world. See anything you can mix them with?"

"Well, um... What about this Cornn Berry, they're pretty rare unless they're grown in mass quantities," Sarah offered, spotting some blue-violet strawberry-like berries that are used in making Pokepuffs and Pokeblocks.

"That's perfect! Now, squeeze the juices out of them and mix them with the Durin and Belue berries but you're gonna need a specific amount since the taste of the Cornn berries can't be possible with just one or two," nodded Mallow in approval as she, Tsareena, and Latias continued with their own food for Tapu Koko.

Sarah nodded as she picked out the berries she needed with Lolita's help, squeezed all the juice out of the Cornn berries and chopped up bits of the Belue and Durin berries she needed with Latios' assistance and Psychic attack, and mixed the juices in four large coconut cups complete with longer and larger drinking straws before Silvally carefully served them to the Swords of Justice.

When creating her drinks for her mentors, she ended up choosing five Cornn Berries, one Durin Berry, and one Belue Berry to create six smoothies combining the sour and bitter flavors of the Durin and Belue berries with the sweet taste of the juices from the Cornn Berries.

"Order up! Six Unova Style Durin-Belue Smoothies with a touch of Cornn Berry Juice coming your way, guys!" called Sarah, the smoothies sliding over to her old friends and the Swords of Justice as Silvally balanced them on his back before he bucked to the side to serve them over the bar table.

Zorua was the first to take a sip of the smoothie she was given from a smaller straw that came with it and after a few seconds, her eyes twinkled and let out several ecstatic yelps as she blushed. "ALL RIGHT! WHOO-HOO!" she hollered before she gulped down the rest of her smoothie.

"Zera," smirked Zeraora before he drank his smoothie and nodded his approval over the layered bitter, sour, and sweet tastes of his drink.

Soon, the Swords of Justice drank their smoothies which garnered surprised and amazed gasps from them as they took in the great care and attention to detail on the juices and their contrasting and layered flavors from the berries and the juices chosen and mixed by the princess.

"Whoa! Holy Gumshoos, this thing really packs a flavorful punch!" cried Terrakion, continuing to gulp down on his smoothie.

"Mmm, I've never had anything so lovingly sour, bitter, and sweet in my entire life!" Virizion nodded with a bright smile.

"Wow, you sure know your way around a kitchen, Princess!" agreed Keldeo excitedly.

The last one to completely gulp down his smoothie was Cobalion and while it was hard to tell from his usual cold and steely gaze when he had finished, he looked at Sarah for a few tense seconds. Eventually, he smiled and nodded his approval to her, getting a sigh of relief from her.

"You've done well, Princess, you and your Pokemon. That smoothie was brilliantly layered and made with a mother's touch, as expected from a young girl such as you," he praised. "A smoothie like that is only made possible through the one ingredient that all chefs, Pokemon or humans, put into it."

Sarah was stumped by Cobalion's words, "What is it?"

Cobalion just smiled, "Love, Princess. Love."

The little princess smiled with a slow nod, finally understanding what Cobalion was telling her. She then turned her attention to Mallow, Tsareena, and Latias as they had finished making the same biscuits she had baked for Olivia in the morning before they let on their errand. There was a lot of pressure put on her with the honor of serving the Tapu Guardian of Melemele Island but she pressed on, determined to impress Tapu Koko no matter what.

As the two girls worked and Sarah's smoothies were served, Meowth was still left in awe over what he was seeing but confused as to what Mallow's cooking. "What's she rustling up? I get those smoothies from the Royal Twerpette but what's that the green-haired twerpette is making?" he questioned.

"Please help, Torkoal," requested Mallow, turning to a nearby Torkoal that acted as a stove for the finished biscuits.

Through careful timing and tossing, the Grass Type student finished the biscuits but then she felt like the dish wasn't completely done yet even though Meowth got a whiff of the dish-to-be and became entranced by the soothing aroma of the finished biscuits.

"Hmm... Needs something a little extra," Mallow mused before she got another brain blast for a new addition to Tapu Koko's dish and turned to Torkoal again. "I know! Once more, please!"

With Torkoal's help, Mallow (now with Sarah assisting her) got to work on baking a biscuit bread loaf and boiling banana leaves and Bittersweet Berries before layering them from the Poni Radish biscuit acting like a bun to a braised Poni Radish leaf, a Poni Radish patty to a flower-shaped Pinap Berry slice, and a fluffy Pony Radish bun topped with a Pecha Berry and sprinkled with crushed nuts acting like sesame seeds. At first glance, Mallow's finished foodie's masterpiece for Tapu Koko looked to be a Poni Radish burger and it looked magnificent, almost too good for anybody to eat.

"And, now this will top it off," she finished, adding a drizzle of Honey to complete the dish and she and Sarah brought it over to Tapu Koko. "Done, coming right up!"

"This is Mallow of the family restaurant, Aine's Kitchen, and Sarah Tomoe operating at Maximum Flavor Power! Our Fluffy Poni Radish Burger!"

Latias and Tsareena's eyes twinkled at the sight of the burger looking so beautiful and perfect for Tapu Koko and even Teacher was left in awe over the incredible dish his student and her friend had made.

Meowth couldn't hold back his hunger as he drooled, staring in amazement at the burger. "Mmm-Mmm! That's the yummiest thing I ever saw!" he quipped ecstatically.

"Stuffed from a fluffy patty made from homemade radishes with some braised Poni Radishes and stacked with a fruity Pinap Berry, and topped with nuts and a yummy Pecha Berry! But, there's more; it also comes drenched in sweet delectable Honey! Man, this delicious dish is sending waves and waves of hunger to my tummy!"

Tapu Koko stared at the Poni Radish Burger in awe, he didn't know what to say as he took in the dish made just for him. "Princess, you and your friend... I, I don't know what to say, it's beautiful," he finally said, trying to find the right words before he would eat.

"You can thank us by taking a bite out of it," smiled Sarah.

"Really? Well, in that case, as you humans would say, bon appetit!"

He quickly took up the burger on his plate and tossed it into the air before he closed his shell and ate it, leaving everyone to watch with bated breath in anticipation to see if he would like Mallow's dish. They could only hope that he would be happy from his meal to be satisfied and see if he likes the Poni Radish Burger cooked for him.

Finally, he finished his burger and left his plate clean all the way, amazing Meowth and the other Pokemon.

"Wow! He left the plate completely clean!" gawked Meowth in surprise.

"Tsareena," nodded Tsareena.

"Laaaaaa..." agreed Latias, whimpering a little with sad and teary puppy eyes as she wanted to have a taste of the Poni Radish Burger.

"La, Laaaaaa," groaned Latios with a facepalm over her sister's sweet tooth taking her over again.

"So, did you...Like it, then?" questioned Mallow curiously.

"...Fantastic, thank you! And, I think my delectable treat warrants a gift worthy of a Pokemon trainer of your cooking stature and the princess' kindness!" answered Tapu Koko happily, presenting Mallow and Sarah with a pair of Z-Crystals, A Grassium Z for Mallow and a Psychium Z for Sarah, each of them as thanks for the Poni Radish Burger and seeing how hard they worked to keep him and the other six unexpected customers happy.

"Those are Z-Crystals!" gasped Meowth in awe as they took the Z-Crystals with everyone else being left in amazement and awe from Tapu Koko's gifts for the girls.

"Wow, so they earned those Z-Crystals for that unbelievable burger?" breathed Keldeo, awestruck.

"Yeah, Big and Sparky deemed them worthy of having those Z-Crystals. Mallow proved herself worthy of having fun with a Z-Ring after that," answered Zorua, amazed by what she saw.

"Zer..." agreed Zeraora with a confirming nod.

"Use them well, Mallow, Princess..." finished Tapu Koko before he sparked himself up and vanished as quickly as he came.

"He's gone," gasped Mallow.

"I guess that answers your prior question, Young Mallow," put in Virizion, still in awe.

Mallow looked at her Grassium-Z, still amazed by what she and everyone else witnessed, "Did Tapu Koko give us these?"

"Now, that's absolute proof. Tapu Koko thinks your cooking is some of the best and the Royal Twerpette's kindness to turn to you for cooking advice when you need it and her generosity to cook up something for her friends and mentors no matter the situation presented to her are qualities becoming of a true princess," explained Meowth.

"Tapu Koko likes my cooking and Sarah proved herself to be kind and generous in his eyes?" gasped Mallow again before she soon smiled brightly, remembering how much each of the Pokemon customers that came to the Forest Cafe loved her cooking from Totem Gumshoos with his Moo-Moo Milk to the Fearow flock and their Belue-Durin Smoothies and Pangoro and Pancham's Bamboo Salad to the Heracross Couple's Sap Smoothie.

She realized that with each and every Pokemon that came to eat at Teacher's place, with her knowledge and immense experience in cooking combined with her and Sarah's teamwork and the love they put into each dish, the food and drinks they served brought a bright smile to the restaurant's customers' faces and in turn, she gained more confidence in her cooking with her Poni Radish Burger being her pinnacle for her cooking. It was then that she decided what her eventual dream as a Pokemon trainer was going to be.

"All right, I decided!" she declared, catching Sarah's attention.

"What do you mean?" she inquired.

"My dream, a family restaurant! I'll make it a place where Pokemon customers can come and eat, just like here!"

"Tsareena!"

"Laaaa!" cheered Tsareena and Latias, feeling proud of Mallow and willing to support her.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Excellent, a beautiful dream worthy of a Master Pokemon Chef like yourself, kid!" laughed Terrakion, nodding in approval.

"I would love to come by and eat there even after our business with the princess is done," agreed Virizion.

"Count me in!" cheered Zorua.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see what you have on your menu someday!" smiled Keldeo.

Sarah smiled and nodded to her friend before she turned to Cobalion, whom she wasn't sure how he'd take her dream. "Well, Cobalion, would you like to come to her restaurant someday?" she asked.

Cobalion thought for a moment but soon gave a small smile before he simply answered with a small nod, "We'll see."

Even Meowth couldn't help but agree and voice his approval for her dream with a rhy smile, "If your Fluffy Poni Radish Burger's on the menu, I might just pop by myself."

"Orangu, Guru," smiled Teacher, nodding before handing her the Big Mushrooms she and Sarah had come for.

"Oh, right! I almost forgot we came here to get those! Thank you," said Mallow, taking the Big Mushrooms before she was presented with a Z-Ring he had kept in his stock which left her in awe again. "What's this? Wait, is this...?"

"So, Royal Twerpette, before you gals go, wanna explain why you're getting private lessons from these Master Swords here?" inquired Meowth, looking at Sarah curiously.

Mallow and Sarah looked at each other; they knew that Meowth belonged to Team Rocket and they weren't supposed to reveal anything about her lineage and Lothor and Team Eclipse's involvement with her. But, they knew that it would be better just to let it all out since they also knew that while they were crooks, Team Rocket had been just a bunch of idiots trying to get by if Meowth's demeanor while drinking in the Forest Cafe was any indicator. In the end, with encouraging and knowing nods from Zeraora, Zorua, and the Swords, Sarah decided to come clean with her biggest secret.

"Well, Meowth, I hope you like long stories," she told him as she sat down and explained everything about her and her family.

Night finally fell back at Aine's Kitchen by the time Sarah and Mallow had finished telling a surprised and amazed Meowth her story and they and their Pokemon returned to see how things were while they're gone.

"We're back! Sorry for taking so long, huh?" Mallow called before the two girls noticed all their friends, Abe, and Olivia and their Pokemon looking worn out as they slouched all around the restaurant.

Tsukumaro, Danny, Danielle, Absol, Mulan, Salamence, Braviary, and Houndoom, on the other hand, were refreshed and slightly out of breath as they were finished with cleaning the restaurant after closing but feeling well as they settled down for some Pinap Juice and some Strawberry Pokepuff Blissey Cake to cool off.

"Guys, are you okay?" gasped Sarah before she noticed Tsukumaro and the rest of her family with him as they got. "Tsukumaro, what are you guys doing here?"

"Oh, Princess, what happened? You two were gone all day and things have been busy while you all are gone," he replied.

"Laaaaaa!" screamed Latias as she tried to go for the cake as her sweet tooth took her over, only to be held back by Latios as he struggled to hold her.

"Mallow, Sarah, good to see you..." groaned Ash.

"What happened to all of you?" asked Mallow, trying to get her head around their current situation.

"You guys look like you've all run the annual Alola Pancake Race for a whole summer!" added Sarah in surprise.

"We've had a ton of customers while you were gone."

"Unbelievable," groaned Sophocles, completely pooped from the day's breakfast, lunch, and dinner rushes.

Even the gang's Pokemon all groaned as they couldn't handle the pressure of the kind of work Mallow and Abe had to go through while they run their family's restaurant.

"And, you all helped out?" chuckled Mallow, seeing what became of them for their hard work.

A refreshed and delightful Abe came over to them, knowing how hard they worked to help him keep the place running. "Everyone helped out and the customers got taken care of thanks to them and your family and godfather were amazing when we showed Tsukumaro the ropes, Sarah. It really helped to upgrade his social skills since he needed them," he chuckled.

"We're sorry, here are your Big Mushrooms. Things had been busy at Teacher's, too. And, let me tell you, you wouldn't believe how many Pokemon customers came over to his place."

"No way!" gasped Ash in shock, Mallow's mentioning of Teacher catching everyone else by surprise.

"Yeah, and after helping out, we got these!" confirmed Mallow, she and Sarah showing everyone their Grassium Z-Crystals and the former's new Z-Ring.

"Wow, a Grassium and Psychium Z"

"And, isn't that a Z-Ring?!" gawked Ash and Olivia, with Kiawe and Sophocles also completely baffled to see and Tapu Koko and Teacher's gifts for them.

"But, it looks to me that it kinda needs to be fixed," finished Mallow, seeing the wear and tear on the ring.

"Let me see that," offered Olivia, taking the Z-Ring and examining it before she smiled, allowing Mallow to realize what she was thinking. She was finally going to have an operational Z-Ring of her own.

After washing and wiping out all the dust and grime from it and taking apart the old band to put in a new one, Olivia had it looking as good as new for Mallow. She was also curious about what went on with her and Sarah while they were helping with Teacher's customers at the Forest Cafe.

"That helping out you mentioned, I'm sure this must be Oranguru Sensei's version of a trial," she informed while working on the Z-Ring.

"Really, you think so?" Mallow inquired curiously.

"So, was Teacher testing her all day?" questioned Sarah in surprise as the Akala Kahuna completed Mallow's Z-Ring and nodded as she gave it to her cooking friend.

"There, all finished. Take it, it's yours."

"Yeah! I just got a Z-Ring and it's all mine!" cheered Mallow, showing her new Z-Ring while Tsareena and Latias cheered for her (the latter finally controlling her sweet tooth again).

"You know what? I think this means that we almost all have Z-Rings!" realized Lillie, seeing that the group has Z-Rings on them including Ash and Sarah's Z-Power Rings leaving only Sophocles to obtain one.

"Yeah, that means once you have your own Z-Ring, Sophocles, our team will have all the Z-Power we can get on hand when we need them!" agreed Ash.

"Oh, yeah! You're the only one who hasn't got a Z-Ring yet, Sophocles!" put in Lana.

But, Sophocles nodded eagerly and excitedly, knowing that his time to earn a Z-Ring will come in due time for him and not letting the lack of one put him down. "That's true but I know I'll earn my Z-Ring someday and when I do, we'll be more ready for what's ahead of us and not even Team Eclipse can stop us when we do see them again!" he declared.

"That's the spirit, Sir Sophocles!" commended Tsukumaro.

"Bra...! Bra...!" agreed Braviary.

"And, who knows? Maybe your chance to earn one will come soon, Lothor and his creeps won't know what hit 'em once you do get one and use it as an Alola Trainer and the Togedemaru Ranger," nodded Sarah.

"Totally! So, I'm gonna work even harder and no matter what, I'm sure I'll prove myself worthy of one!" declared Sophocles before the gang all cheered, "YEAH!"

"And so, with Sarah's assistance and newfound confidence in herself and her cooking coupled with her finalized dream of opening a Pokemon family restaurant, Mallow overcame Teacher's trial and earned herself a Z-Ring, at last. This meant our heroes are one step closer to all of them having their own Z-Rings! Next up, some special training for the upcoming Alola League and preparations for another eventual Ultra Bout against Lothor and Team Eclipse as the journey continues...!"

Epilogue: "Where Are You Going, Eevee and Friends?"

While everyone was going bananas at Teacher's Forest Cafe and Mallow's family restaurant, Eevee, Boltund, and Delcatty were continuing to ride on Mantine and Lapras as they made their way to the Alola Region. It was a peaceful sunny day and there was no sign of abnormalities from a storm for miles as they traveled.

"Eevee! Eevee, Eee!" chirped Eevee, enjoying the salty sea air and wind in his face.

"Man, Maaaan!" called Mantine, seeing a wave coming as they all went past a fishing boat in the distance.

"Eevee!" chirped Eevee again, ready for some more fun with Mantine Surfing.

"Prr, Prrr, Prrr!" cried Delcatty from aboard Lapras, wanting her son to be careful.

"Eevee, Eevee!" nodded the shaggy Evolution Pokemon, laughing as he and Mantine approached the wave.

The two young Pokemon approached the wave and Mantine playfully flips and Eevee lands in the water, swimming as he laughed and Mantine got on his back again.

"Ee, Vee, Vee!" said Eevee, wanting to go at the wave again, which Mantine nodded before they went on the wave again and gotten higher before Eevee did a cannonball on the water.

While he and Mantine were playing around and having fun, Boltund and Delcatty watched on, the latter sighing with an amused smile as she watched her son enjoying himself despite his previous scare about being stranded in the middle of the sea. The Galar Dog Pokemon chuckled as he watched Eevee having fun, already lost in what fun he'll experience upon getting to the Alola Region.

"Eee, Eee, Eee!" called Eevee to Mantine, now wanting to go all out with his and Mantine's surfing.

"Man, Man, Mantine!" nodded Mantine, also ready to go all out for real.

Taking one last ride up the wave, Mantine and Eevee prepared to jump off with all their might. As soon as they reached the rim of the wave and jumped off it, they performed a Double Ollie Twist as Mantine spun to the left and then to the right with Eevee doing ollies before they landed back in the water.

"Prr, Prrrr, Prrr, Prrroew, Prrroew," sighed Delcatty, feeling that Eevee sometimes worries her with his adventurous spirit.

"Bol Boltund, Tund, Bolt," reassured Boltund, nuzzling his Hoenn mate gently as they, Lapras, Eevee, and Mantine continue on their voyage to the Alola Region, wondering what new adventures await them there.
