So I decided to get Grammarly to improve my chapters. I hope it makes a difference and makes my story easier to read from now on. When this Saga is finished I'm going to go to previous chapters edit them too.

Anyway hope you enjoy this chapter.

Effectively Blind

Trunks and Lapis were flying towards the lookout. But they needed to make a stop.

The Half Saiyan turned to his brother-in-law. "She should be here."

Lapis nodded, he's never seen her in person, he hoped that they can convince her that he's on their side.

Trunks floated down near the village and tried to sense for her energy. 'Come on, come on Chi-Chi' But he came up with nothing. 'Damn it'

"Trunks?"

"She's not here." He wanted to take her to the lookout and tell her what was going on but he also needed to get there quickly, if they have more bodies left his family might be in danger. "We'll just have to go."

The duo flew while Trunks prayed for Chi-Chi's safety.

Dende walked into the lookout close to the time chamber as instructed and then he sees Baby in Goku's body teleport in front of him.

The possessed Namekien looked concerned. "My lord, it still isn't safe you're not strong enough yet."

'Goku' looked down at the Namekien and smirked. "I'm aware my servant, I just think it's time to move on to phase two."

Dende looked apprehensive. "Are you sure this is wise? If you let this happen, then the Saiyan will grow stronger."

"I promise you I have thought of everything." Baby gave a grin Goku used to do to let everyone know it will be alright.

Dende nodded and opened the door.

Baby walked into the time chamber and sees the cloning machine and a large case. He frowned knowing he couldn't keep this forever, he had to plan well in advance. The fake Saiyan then put his hand on the machine and placed two fingers on his head. He teleported away.

Dende quickly went back to the meet with his 'friends.'

The parasite's predictions have come to pass so far. He knew that he'd have to abandon the time chamber. But no matter, soon he and his fellow Tuffles will gain power. Let them use it, let the Saiyan increase his power, it will only make his victory all the sweeter. Also, he was excited at the idea of Trunks's power growing stronger, must be the body acting up.

As long as he and his servants can go undetected he will not fail.

He just needed one person out of the way. Or rather one Android.

So he had some contingency in place.

"Hmm" 'Goku' scratched the back of his head. "Alright almost everything is in place, we just need one more thing to ensure victory."

He can't feel 16 of course but he can sense Bulma and that Hera woman.

"They're getting closer to the lookout." 'Piccolo' stated. "I believe your prediction that 16 would be able to detect your presence in Bulma came to pass."

"Yes, and it happened faster than we expected but it's alright." 'Goku' said simply. "It just means we'll have to speed up the plans a bit." The possessed clone stood up. "Piccolo be ready." He had a smile.

"Lord Baby are you sure this is all worth the trouble? I'm sorry for questioning but I feel like we have the advantage." 'Yamcha' asked.

'Goku' looked at Yamcha "Though we outnumber them, we are still outmatched, and we need those other two in fighting condition if we're going to succeed." Goku looked at the human Z-fighters. " If we're located they can wipe us out."

They all looked down in shame that their bodies simply were not strong enough to help against the stronger fighters.

"Not to worry as long as we have Bulma we'll win." 'Goku' smirked and sensed Zangya's energy. "They're not too close, alright we should be able to do this."

He placed two fingers on his head locking on Zangya's energy.

'Piccolo' and 'Goku' vanished.

Android 16 and Zangya were getting closer to the lookout.

SHFT!

A duo appeared in front of them.

16 was shocked seeing these two but mostly at someone that he was more than familiar with. "Goku"

Zangya looked at the duo confused, neither of them looked familiar but he did recognize the green one as a Namekien.

"Now!" 'Goku' yelled as he turned Super Saiyan and charged after 16.

The Android can sense that these two were strong, two strong for Zangya to fight alone.

Piccolo immediately went after Zangya, meaning he was unable to pass Bulma up to her.

16 caught by surprise sees Goku's hand placed on his shoulder and the fake Saiyan put his fingers to his head.

Both Goku and 16 vanished leaving behind Piccolo and Zangya.

"16?" Zangya yelled while blocking a punch from Piccolo. "What happened where are they?" She demanded.

Piccolo only smiled. "Worry about yourself."

The Hera growled at herself for letting 16 and the woman was taken. Hopefully, she can beat the location out of this namekien.

Far away in the galaxy, a purple planet, there lies much wildlife, with no intelligence what's so ever.

Goku appeared with 16 in front of large cat-like creatures, the cats scurried away at the sight of the trio appearing out of nowhere.

The large Android was still holding Bulma.

16 looked to see the environment changed and was punched in the jaw by the fake Goku. He then grabbed Bulma by her neck and jumped away from him.

The Android was about to charge after him but Goku rose his hand.

"One wrong move and her neck snaps," Goku said smirking.

16 stopped and scanned the lifeform that looked like his original target. All signs say it is Goku but with cybernetics throughout his body. Almost the same kind of body Bulma intended to create for him. Like Bulma and the people he rescued; he had that strange energy inside of him. Something he felt that did not belong.

"First of all, Android 16, it's an honor to meet ya," 'Goku' began. "And I just wanna say I owe you, you're the reason my plan evolved to such a ridiculous degree."

The robot said nothing looking at Bulma in his grip he took a step forward only for him to tighten his grip on the human.

"Ah ah ah," Goku said playfully. He then switched to Baby's raspy voice. "Wouldn't want these fingers to slip, would you?"

16 was disturbed as he heard that voice, he obeyed not wishing harm to Bulma. "Where are we?"

"We're on the farthest planet away from Earth I could find," Goku said simply. "Sorry about this but I can't have you telling them more than they need to know. You should stay here after all this planet has been tamed by nature, from Bulma's knowledge I know you'd love it." He placed fingers on his head.

16 couldn't decide what to do as the being was ready to leave with his hostage.

"Thank you again 16, everything I've accomplished so far was all because of you," Goku said in a cheerful voice. "Later!"

He vanished with Bulma leaving 16 stranded on a planet far away.

16 looked all around the purple sky of the planet. It was awful that he was away from Earth and not able to save Bulma. But right now, he needed to head to Earth. His sensors located Lapis and Lazuli's huge power levels many lightyears away.

He will need to get started now.

The Android started flying in that direction leaving behind the purple lush planet. His thought circuits turned to what the fake Goku had said.

This thing whatever it was had taken control of Bulma, had taken the Cell Replicator. And now whatever this thing is has created a malevolent clone of Goku. All because Bulma intended to create a new body for him, all because of him wishing for a body with feeling.

The Android narrowed his eyes and as he escaped the planet's atmosphere and flew straight ahead for the earth. He is the cause of this and so he will save the earth.

Zangya had transformed and was able to defend herself well against the Namekien. "Tell me now, where are they?" She squeezed his arm, causing the green man pain.

Piccolo chuckled and fired a mouth blast hitting her in the face and making her let go. He floated away as Goku appeared next to her with Bulma.

Zangya quickly recovered and glared. "You, where is 16?" She demanded, was the robot still around, did he destroy him?

"Sorry no time to talk, I'll see ya later!" Goku cheerfully said as he teleported while Zangya tried charging the duo only for them to escape.

She looked all around and tried to sense their energy but to no avail. "Damn it!" She yelled, she had no idea how, but she lost 16 and Bulma. She looked ahead in the direction of the lookout. Best to report this now.

Lazuli was watching her daughter nap, it was in the middle of the day but with all that was happening, she suggested that she rest. Hopefully, they can end all this and discuss what has been happening.

She senses Trunks's energy and walks out of the palace to see her husband and Lapis. "Trunks, Lapis." She immediately walked to her husband knowing what happened. "Are you ok?"

Trunks looked down at Lazuli. "I met another clone." He said disturbingly. "This time it was Goku."

Lazuli's eyes widened; she hadn't thought of the man she was meant to kill for a long time. The thought of Trunks having to fight him, or a clone of him made her shake. She wasn't sure what else to ask other than if he was ok.

"I'm fine." He lied, it wasn't easy fighting someone wearing the face of his dead friend. He looked around. "Where's Iolite?"

"Asleep in the lookout." She said and looked to her brother.

Trunks sighed gladly to know that she's safe.

"I'll be back I need to see her." Trunks said right away.

Lazuli nodded and watched him walk past her. She looked at her brother who also looked troubled.

"What about you, what happened?"

"Trunks wasn't the only one who dealt with a blast to the past," Lapis said his voice full of dread.

Trunks walked into the lookout needing to see his daughter. He sees her sleeping; he placed a hand on her head. He hated that they had a threat to deal with her at such a young age. At least she had a couple of years before she had to think about any threat unlike himself.

And he'll make sure that she won't grow up with the horrors he did.

He looked at his daughter not wanting to leave her side right now. He had to remind himself that she was another reason to fight these monsters.

Iolite awoke from her nap and turned to see her father looking at her sadly.

"Daddy what's happening?"

Trunks looked at his daughter, she was so scared. He did what any father would do. "It's ok, your mom's here too along with uncle Lapis, we need to go see them ok?" He gave a fake smile, like what Gohan did for him when the androids attacked close by when he was her age.

Iolite tried to find peace in her father's statement, but there was one thing that was bothering her. "Dad, those people, they said mom killed them. Is it true? They look like the people grandma showed me in the pictures."

Trunks looked shocked when he heard this. Those imposters told her, this was not supposed to happen. What does he tell her? No. It can wait, priorities.

"We'll talk more about this in a bit." Trunks soothed his daughter. " But know this, they don't know what great of a person your mother is. You trust me?"

Iolite hesitated but nodded and hugged her father with all her strength. She didn't even want to talk, she just wanted to cling to her father and pretend that everything was fine.

Trunks hated seeing his daughter distressed but now wasn't the time. He needed his family safe first and foremost. "Come on, we need to see everyone else." She needed to understand the situation.

Iolite hesitated but nodded and got of bed. She grabbed her father's hand.

Outside Lapis and Lazuli were surprised to see Zangya fly here without 16. "Zangya?"

"Listen there's some bad news." She sees Trunks walking out with her daughter and Dende with Mr. Popo.

Trunks notice something, she's supposed to be here with someone else. "Where's 16?"

Zangya squeezed her fists, she knows there not going to like this. She looked down to see Iolite, she was looking distressed already. She didn't want to be the bearer of bad news now, but she had to.

'Goku' looked down at Bulma who was unconscious and the machine. "Alright looks like we did good. Everything is safe."

"Are you sure this is ok?" 'Krillin' asked. "You sure it's safe for the Saiyan to get stronger?"

'Goku' looked down at Krillin a fair question but he thought about this ahead of time. "Come on Krillin, I've been planning this from the very beginning, I know a way to make us far stronger, stronger than Saiyans and Androids can hope to match." He grinned and cackled. "And besides." He looked at the cloning machine containing his next vessel.

Vegeta, the son of the man who massacred his people. The father of his current enemy, he wouldn't need the time chamber.

Then he looked down at the large case on the ground.

He can't tell which one he can't wait to use. Of course, for the second body, he'd need to reclaim the time chamber.

"These two will be stronger than the rest of us."

'Piccolo' stepped forward. "My lord, any luck on finding New Namek."

Baby frowned and shook his head. He found that planet he sent 16 while he searched for it, now while they are blind would be the perfect chance to take their dragon balls. Sadly he's having a hard time locating its exact position. Trying to sense for namekiens in the universe is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

"Fret not Piccolo, there's plenty of time to look for it, we don't need the dragon balls to ensure victory." He said as he rose his hands. "While we wait I will make us stronger so be patient."

'Piccolo' frowned but smirked knowing that they have the upper hand.

Zangya explained all that she knew, the two people she described they recognized easily. And Bulma was taken somewhere else and 16 is nowhere to be seen.

"You lost both Bulma and 16?" Lazuli seethed at the Hera.

She looked at the Android that always found a way to point out something wrong with her after all the years she's been here. "They came out of nowhere I didn't even know what was happening."

"That's no excuse you lost two-"

Trunks placed a hand on Lazuli's shoulder and glanced down at their daughter.

Iolite was looking up her eyes were watering. "Uncle 16 and grandma are gone?"

Lazuli quickly got down and hugged her daughter trying to calm her down while fighting not to glare at Zangya.

Trunks looked at Zangya. "You couldn't have seen this coming."

Lapis nodded in agreement and looked at the Hera. "He's right."

Zangya felt glad that two of them defended her, part of her wanted to rub it in the blonde cyborg's face but looking at her comforting Iolite made her stop.

Dende continued. "They took Bulma as well?"

"Yes, we're sure that Towa had some control over her."

They were surprised to hear that Towa might still be around. Except for Trunks and Lapis.

"No, it's not Towa." Trunks interfered. "Someone else is behind this, he told me who he was."

Trunks told them about Baby, a parasite that can possess any living thing, and even taking multiple hosts by laying eggs in them. He told them that they had the Cell Replicator and were using it to create clones.

"But didn't your mother say it would take a long time to create a clone?" Lazuli asked.

"She did, I don't know how but he's made six bodies already in a manner of days." He explained.

"They have Bulma, they might have had her speed up the clock on the machine somehow."

Trunks looked down to Iolite and turned to Lazuli. He tried to focus on the task at hand. "Also, there not the only bodies he's claimed, the people that attacked Chichi were possessed."

This just keeps getting worse and worse.

"I think I know why he took 16 away." Trunks explained. "He can locate both Lapis and Lazuli while the rest of us can't, so 16 would have no trouble finding the clones, this way we're pretty much blind."

Lapis squeezed his fists. "And with Bulma, they can make shut of switches if given enough time."

This monster really did think of everything.

"So what do we do?" Zangya asked.

"I have a few ideas." Trunks bent down to Iolite's level. "Listen Iolite, why don't you wait here with Lapis, I need to talk to your mom for a bit."

Iolite looked at her mom.

Lazuli wondered what he could want to talk about in private at a time like this but nodded. She didn't like the idea of leaving her with Zangya but sees that her daughter needed a distraction right now.

Lapis and Zangya watched the married couple walk away while Iolite just walked to the two of them. To Lapis's surprise, Iolite did not go to him but went to Zangya instead and pulled on her pant leg.

Zangya looked down shocked and turned to Lapis.

The Cyborg looked down at his niece. "Iolite?"

She looked up at Lapis. "Uncle Lapis can I talk to Zangya for a bit?"

Zangya was shocked to hear this and looked at Lapis.

Lapis was surprised usually she just wanted to play with him. He turned to Zangya.

"I wouldn't mind." She said as she awkwardly pats her hair.

The brunette was sure Lazuli would bite his head off for this. But after being told what happened to her grandmother and 16 it was best to let her have her way. Hopefully, his sister would understand.

"Go ahead Iolite," Lapis said as Zangya and Iolite walked away. He thought of the clone Piccolo, what did the other clones say to her? Must be thinking about that. 'Damn it' Mad scientists always seem to find a way to get here and ruin everything.

Trunks and Lazuli were on the lookout and Lazuli was having trouble processing this.

"Trunks I don't know about this."

"I know Lazuli, I don't want to do this but, Baby, he wants to hurt Iolite." Trunks reasoned. "She needs to get stronger if we want her safe."

"But the hyperbolic time chamber takes its toll, don't you remember your first time in there?"

He did, his first time with his uncle Tarble. That room took some getting used to, the changing gravity, the sudden shifts in temperature, always looking into the never-ending void. If he had gone there the first time alone, he likely would have gone mad. And he was thirteen years older than Iolite at the time.

She can tell from the look on his face that he did remember. "Do you want your five-year-old daughter in that room?"

Trunks looked down, he didn't, if he ever had to do it, he was hoping that she'd be older. He didn't want to do this, but what choice do they have?

Lazuli sighed. "I'm sorry, your right. I just, she's not herself right now."

That was true, normally Iolite would be eager to join the fight like when Towa summoned those three to earth.

"Also, she won't talk to me, she knows I'm hiding what happened. I- I don't know what to do."

"I know." Trunks said. "But listen she'd been wanting more training for a while now, in the time chamber maybe she can work through her frustrations." He said hugging her.

She hugged back and nodded. This monster was going to pay for all the pain he caused to her family.

Trunks only hoped that this distraction would work and that they could get to their lives. And now was the time for something even harder their family needed to talk about. "Lazuli"

They separated from their hug and Trunks gave a serious look. "But before that. We need to talk to Iolite. Whether we like it or not, it's time, we have to tell her."

Lazuli knew what he meant and tried to find a reason to put this on hold at least for a few more years.

She found none.

Zangya and Iolite were just sitting and talking.

"How much do you know about my mom and uncle?"

She was surprised to hear that. "Why are you asking me? Your uncle could answer better."

The little girl looked away. "I think he and my parents are hiding things from me."

Hearing that she looked over at Lapis who only had a blank face, he didn't send any glares or warning like Lazuli would which was appreciated. Not knowing what to say she looked down. "Lapis is fun-loving, likes to push people's buttons and watching animals. Your mom tries to hide her emotions, she can be a bit stubborn and prefers the city life." She looks down on the girl seeing that she's not satisfied. She continued. "Both of them had complicated lives."

"Complicated?" She asked.

Zangya tried to find words to keep her at peace. "Listen, your mom, your uncle a lot happened to them when they were young. Your mom needs time to be ready to tell you. You can trust her to tell you anything."

Iolite was starting to hate that word. Trust, they can't use that word if they won't trust her enough to tell her.

The Hera wasn't used to dealing with kids, she wasn't sure why she was ok with spending a moment with the child of someone that wants her dead. But she couldn't help but have a soft spot for her, she reminded her of Lapis when he's in the mood for one of his games.

During her fusion, she saw some memories of Lazuli back when she was an Android and being free of Dr. Gero's programming. She had deduced that she kept that part of her life secret from her daughter. The android already wants to kill her so badly, so of course, she wouldn't say anything that would jeopardize her life. Of course, speaking to the child is doing so anyway, she felt like 16 or Lapis would revive her if worse came to worse.

She placed a hand on Iolite's head. "You know, your mother and I don't really get along, but I know enough about her that she does care for you. Whatever you feel she's hiding from you is for a good reason. And she will tell you when she's ready."

Iolite looked up at Zangya and nodded her head. She still didn't like that she didn't get a straight answer from her, but it made her feel at ease.

Lapis watched as the two talked, something about the way Iolite reacted to him rubbed him the wrong way. Those clones must have said something about his and Lazuli's past. For that, he'll make sure Baby burns into ashes.

"Lapis"

Shit.

The raven-haired android turned to see Lazuli glaring at him.

"What did I say?" She asked eyeing Zangya and Iolite giggling together.

Lapis remained calm. "Sis, she wanted to talk to her and I don't see the-"

"You're so lucky we have bigger fish to fry." She interrupted. "Iolite, come here."

The little girl turned to her mother and looked up at Zangya.

She only smiled and tilted her head as if it were ok for her to leave.

Iolite walked over to her mother not so enthusiastically as if saddened that she was being separated from Zangya. Something that Lazuli noticed, and she was even angrier about it.

When the little girl was in front of her mother, she didn't say anything.

Lazuli didn't like seeing that face, even more since she and Trunks discussed what to do next. She looked at Zangya.

The teal-skinned woman didn't say anything, she only stared back waiting for Lazuli to say something. She feels confident that she won't try to kill her but knew better than to mess with the Cyborg.

Lazuli wanted to give Zangya the warning, but she knew that now wasn't the time. She looked down at Iolite who looked away not wanting to meet her mother's gaze.

She walked into the lookout holding her daughter's hand. She hated this, she missed the energetic feisty little girl she was hours ago. These clones, whatever they are have turned her world upside down.

Lazuli glared over at Lapis.

The brother knew this was coming and kept a blank face.

His sister used telepathy to send a message. 'We're going to tell her.'

Lapis knew what that meant, he looked down at his niece and wanted to argue. But knew that it had to be done, the clones likely said something to her. He nodded hoping this would end smoothly.

The mother and daughter walked into the lookout.

'Damn it.' He looked over at Zangya who was looking at the sky. This day was getting worse and worse, and he can see that she's not doing any better. He can use a distraction.

The Hera looked rather sad. She heard someone stand next to her and sees Lapis looking at the sky as well.

"You ok?" Lapis asked.

"I'm fine." She said quickly just looking at the sky, somewhere 16 was stranded.

The brunette would have continued but can tell that she's worried about something else. Or rather someone else. "It wasn't your fault, no one, not even 16 could predict Goku's Instant Transmission."

She looked at him. "Do you even know if he's still around? Can't you sense his power?"

"No, but Bulma made him basically indestructible, there's no way he could've been destroyed." Seeing that it didn't quite make her feel better he continued. "If they could destroy him, they would have done it then and there, why go through the trouble of teleporting him?"

Zangya thought of those words. It made sense, and she has seen 16 recovering up close. Yes, he has to be alive. She stopped thinking when she heard the park ranger chuckle.

Lapis smirked. "I remember you used to think he was a nuisance, but you're really worried about the big guy, aren't you?"

Her cheeks blushed with embarrassment and coughed in her hand. "I'm just worried I lost us a good fighter that's all."

Lapis notices the blushing and smirks. "Oh, so that's what gets you embarrassed huh? Not all the constant flirting?"

Zangya glared at him for making fun of her. So, what if she liked having the big lug around? He was one of the few people in the group that seemed to like her company. Well the Saiyan seemed ok given he defended her, his mother was fine enough with her since she stayed at her house, admittingly only when 16 or Lapis were nearby. The blonde cyborg seemed to be waiting for an opportunity to kill her. The big lug even helped her get stronger in the chamber.

After a few seconds, she smirked. "Aw, are you jealous?"

"Hmph," Lapis continued and looked at her continuing to stare in the sky. "And look about my sister, I'm sorry sh-"

"It's fine." The Hera interrupted. "I spent enough time with your sister as one person to know why she would hate me for so long, and why she wants me away from her daughter. I just can't say no when the little thing asks for me, she's adorable."

The Cyborg looked at her. "You sure, I know you've feared she'd try to kill you for some time now."

She frowned at that at first, she didn't like how he knew that even if it was true. During her time on earth, despite her brave exterior she always feared that the blonde cyborg would decide to kill her and make it look like an accident. She smirked. "I'm not too worried about that anymore for three reasons, one is 16 I'm sure he would talk her down, two my favorite reason" She smiled at him.

Lapis looked at her and she hooked her arm around his quickly and rested her head on his shoulder. She normally wasn't this forward.

"I have you here to protect me." She giggled as she rubbed her head against his shoulder.

For once the Cyborg was flustered, his rate picked up. He wasn't sure what to do, was he embarrassed? Is that what this feeling was?

Not wanting to push her luck she let go of him and played with her hair. "And three, I'm capable of defending myself if she ever comes for me."

Lapis looked at her confused. "Well, your time in the chamber was well spent, but from what I sense your still a bit below me and my sister."

Zangya smiled. "Oh, I'm aware of that, but I created a technique that can be very useful against anyone, even Cyborgs like you two. It's not perfect right now but in time it can be very useful."

The brunette looked at her shocked. "Does 16 know about this?"

She looked at him and put a hand on her chest. "Of course, he does, I told him I was going to tell you later. Are you telling me you don't trust me now?" She asked in a fake hurt voice.

"Why didn't you tell me days after you went in the chamber a second time?" Lapis asked not liking how she hid a technique that would be useful against him and his sister.

"I'm doing that, now aren't I? It's not life-threatening, it's more of a defensive move." She shrugged her shoulders. "I was going to tell you during our date."

Lapis opened his mouth to argue more but realizes that he had no real reasons to argue with her since her reasons seemed valid after all why tell 16 or anyone about this if she wanted to assassinate his sister? Besides she clearly means to use it for self-defense. "But wait why didn't you use it on those clone androids?"

She sighed. "I said it wasn't perfect, it needs time, I have to focus it before I can use it effectively." It was so annoying, she remembered testing it against 16 and the damn thing wouldn't work without some constant focus and leaves her open during an actual fight. "If I could use it the way I want I at least would have taken the namekien out."

Well if she wanted to keep it secret, she's doing a terrible job. And, if used right it could come in handy against their current threat. "Alright, and can you tell me what you mean by our 'date'?"

She merely smiled. "Come now you remember, today we planned our next day off together."

He remembered though he wouldn't call that a date, he'll refrain from fighting it knowing she'll only get flirtier.

To his dismay, she continued. "You know before I was expecting only shopping and dinner, but since I'm helping you out more, I'm sure I'll deserve more than that, right?" She looked at him and licked her lips.

Staying quiet also makes her flirtier, ok time to change topics. "Let's focus on your technique, tell me what it is, and I hope you know I'll run it by my sister."

Zangya giggled thinking that she has the Cyborg nervous. "Naturally"

She went on to describe the technique she's so proud of.

Iolite and Lazuli made it to Trunks sitting on a chair.

Trunks looked down at the child and up at his wife. She gave him a nod and he focused back on his daughter. "Iolite, are you ok?"

The young girl thought of everything that happened today, clones of her dad's friends attacking them, her grandmother being taken, and then there were the things those clones were saying.

She remembered being told all the adventures her family had and she would always wish she was there. And part of her hoped some villain would come so she can help and have fun fighting with her parents. But now that it's finally happened, this was not fun, nowhere near the adventures she thought she would have. She wanted all of this to be some nightmare that she can wake up from. But it's not.

After not speaking for the longest time Trunks wrapped his arms around the little girl "It's ok, I know you're scared, I know you're confused but we're here, we're always here." Trunks calmly said he tried to imitate Gohan when he tried to keep him calm when he was younger.

The young girl squeezed her fingers and pushed herself from her father and did her best to make a brave face. She always wanted to be in a fight with her parents against some evil with all the stories they told her, and she was worried she wouldn't get to if she was afraid. But she also didn't want to.

"I- I'm not scared! I can fight, I'm not scared, dad!" Iolite yelled a little too frantically.

Trunks was aware of what she was doing, he had mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, he felt bad about making her scared and feel like she has to be brave. On the other, it was good that she was afraid because it meant that she would lean more towards escaping rather than risking her life and joining the fight. Hopefully, he remembers he would always want to join Gohan when it was his time to fight.

He'll make sure that she knows to run at the sign of danger.

Lazuli held her arm watching her daughter understanding what's going on. She seemed to be getting it faster than she would have liked. She was hoping that they would need to explain it further.

Trunks explained further. "Iolite, listen you understand that these people aren't who they're pretending to be right?"

Iolite started calming down a bit and nodded, she knew the concept of cloning.

"Listen there's probably going to be more, your grandfather Vegeta will probably be cloned." Trunks frowned at the thought of fighting someone with the face of his father as well as the one man who came in his place. " and my Master Gohan."

She remembered them, she saw pictures of them and heard them in stories. She didn't hear too much from her grandfather, but Gohan, she heard plenty of stories about him.

The parents see that she has a grasp on the threat they need to overcome.

But now comes the hard part.

Trunks glanced over to Lazuli silently hinting that it was time. She gave a nod and Trunks put his hands on her shoulders. "Now, your mom has to talk to you now. Ok?"

The young girl nodded and turned to her mother, wondering why she didn't say anything this whole time.

Lazuli tried her best to explain. "Do you remember what those people said?"

Iolite thought back to those people, everything happened so fast. She was in one of their grasps and thought of what they said. "Yes, I do. Why were they saying that you killed them? That's not true right?" She asked. "Their fakes so they have to be lying right?"

She desperately wanted to say that she was right. But she knew the reality of the situation. They needed to do this now. "Iolite listen, Dr. Gero created us and he kept us active in his lab trying to make us obedient."

Iolite was confused as she remembered this story differently. "But you said that grandma found you and you helped dad against the bad androids." She said remembering that story.

It was something Trunks, Bulma and Lazuli agreed to

"I know," Lazuli said, she hated this so much. "But we didn't want to tell you the truth until you were older, Dr. Gero, he, he did things to our minds"

She ran this conversation in her head multiple times. It was so much harder now than it was the real deal.

Cliffhanger!

Sorry, sorry, I just couldn't myself lol. It's been a while since I've done one and thought that since this chapter was longer than usual I'd do it here.

Also, don't worry about 16, he'll get plenty of action, Baby just sent him somewhere far, far away. He has a long trip home.

With 16, he could have located and with the rest of the New Z-fighters could have ended the clones right then and there. And also see that Dende was possessed. With him, gone Baby now has time to enact a plan with no worries.

Now has come the time for Iolite to learn the truth. Hopefully, she'll take it well, she is rather young.

Also again I hope the grammar in this story has been better, and easier to read. I'm sorry for the sloppiness of previous chapters and promise to do better.I didn't keep you guys waiting for long but realize that quality is more important than quantity. I shouldn't rush because I have a pretty reachable goal.

To finish this story before Xenoverse 3 is made. Lol, sadly that's an obtainable goal.

But anyway I hope you enjoyed the chapter and look forward to what I have in store next.

Review Responces.

The Rocha: Great to hear from u again I thought u abandoned my story when I started doing Gt lol.

Can't take all the credit for Super Kaioken, it was borrowed from a story called History of Trunks Part 2, u should read it, it's similar to mine but it ended at the Buu saga.

Thank u for pointing out the mistakes in my chapters, I have grammarly now so hopefully these chapters won't be so messy now.

Sadly Baby has realized how advantagous 16 is, so he sent him somewhere far, far away, so he can start his plan. Yes the irony is quite thick, it's kinda sad she's technically doing more for Dr Gero's son than he did.

Not gonna lie 16 and Zangya's freindship was done on the spot and I'm glad people are enjoying it. I think I made her a decent character.

Sadly Bulma won't be back for a while, lol, Baby has made plenty of contingencies. He's lost the time chamber, but who knows, he may have a plan to take it back and make more clones. Well, there's one more clone for the dragon team that hasn't been created yet. Clone baddies? Maybe a lot, of villains made it to earth. Now he has rendered our heroes blind and Dende is still within his possession.

You caught on Goku's influence, ya see the clones work a little too well. While he can make his own choices Baby feels compelled to do things he normally wouldn't such as threatening his followers for going after Chi-Chi and letting Trunks use the Time Chamber. It may prove to be his undoing if he doesn't plan well enough.

Goku spent a lot of time trying to recover from the heart virus and prevented him from training. Piccolo and Vegeta likely continued training so I reasoned that Goku would be a bit behind them.

Well, Baby is going to be missing one dragon ball, whatever he wants won't be good.

Towa is indeed dead. In THIS timeline, just like there's more than one Dabura there is more than one Towa, who knows another more powerful Towa can take her place. We'll see :)

I-Love-Trunks1 - Glad you're enjoying the story.

AxDevilman: Baby is quite the monster glad you're enjoying him. The reason he won't take Trunks's body is the same reason he didn't take Goku's in Gt, he wants at least one Saiyan to suffer for the crimes of their ancestors.

Sadly Zangya wasn't expecting anything and couldn't stop 16 from being taken away.

Well, u know every villain has to be more dangerous than the previous, sometimes not just more powerful but more clever.

Shadowwriter01: Yup. He's probably like this because that was how the Tuffles programmed him to be, they wanted the Saiyans to be punished as cruelly as possible and so made a vicious parasite full of nothing but hate and left him with the emotional maturity of a baby, hence his name sadly he's likely incapable of understanding that he's as vicious maybe even more so than the Saiyans ever were. Makes me curious how the Tuffles would react to what they created. Baby is one of the biggest examples of taking revenge too far, in Gt he pretended to lose control as a great ape endangering his 'people' and shot Ki at Earth just to torment Goku. He might be the evilest villain throughout Dragon Ball.

True revealing the eggs wasn't a good idea, it's pretty standard for Dragon Ball villains to reveal too much when they feel like they got the upper hand. Plus these clones actually have an effect on Baby's mind, it was hinted when he demanded the people that were trying to take ChiChi's dragon ball and he didn't even know why he did that.

SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: About that, you may have found something I have to fix. Lol, oh well, good catch. Hope u can still enjoy what I have planned so far.

Alright, guys, that'll be it, for now, I hope everyone enjoyed it.

I'm going to add to One's Own Path and I'll be back here. Hope I can get it soon.

Have an awesome day guys! :)
