Chapter 72 – Family time
It was around 1700 hours and that time Luke was in Ben's bedroom, giving him his afternoon bath. Holding his son on his right arm, he was washing his little hair with his left, smiling when the baby kept kicking his little legs and smiling. It was the first time he was giving Ben's a bath.
"You really like a bath don't you my little baby" Luke smiled at his son, that kept kicking and talk to his father. A glimpse of blue started to show in his little eyes, but Luke did noticed that his features were started to show and he did have his chin and forehead and cheeks but his lips and nose were from Ines and the color of his hair was from his mother as well. His baby boy was really a mix of him and Ines. Then Ben all of the sudden started to pee hitting Luke who laughed. "Hey young man. I'm not a target" laughing when the baby babble and smile. "Very funny. That's what you get when you have a boy right?" he said kissing his son's forehead.
Already having the towel spread on the bed that him and Ines already had bought from him, even if he would sleep for a long time in his crib, Luke took Ben from his little bathtub and putting on top of the towel and wrapped him, while he kept playing and talking to him.
"Hi. Who took his little bath and enjoy it so much that pee on his father?" he asked rubbing his nose on Ben's, who kicked his legs and arms and smiling he talked back to his father, fixing his eyes on Luke's. "Are you talking back to your father? Are you?" Ben put his little hands on Luke's face, who smiled at him. "Who is the most beautiful baby in the galaxy?" Luke kept talking kissing Ben's little cheeks, who make a high pitch making Luke laughed. He had bought a mobile of X-Wings to put in the crib, while he was away and a little stuffed X-Wing to him, but his favorite toy already was a R2 that pressing it beep like the real droid. He looked at his smiling. "You are the best and the most perfect thing I ever did in almost 24 years of my life. I am so lucky to have met your mother and to make you with her, my precious little boy. Yes you are, my little love. I love you" he said planting tiny little kisses on his cheeks making the baby smiled at his father.
Putting his diaper and his clothes, Luke sat down on the bed and picking up he played with him, raise him above his head and making noises on his belly, making the baby smiled and grabbing his father face and hair.
"Let go my hair mister" Luke laughed at him, making Ben smiled back at him.
Ines was at the door watching the two men that she was so in love with, talking and playing. Luke was indeed the best father she could have ask for her children. She couldn't wait to be pregnant again with his two twin daughters and boy. She knew he would be so protective over their little girls.
Luke looked at the door and smiled watching Ines, who was wearing a similar suit that she was wearing when they met.
"Hello gorgeous" he said. "Look Ben, the most beautiful woman that I choose to be your mother"
Ines laughed and entered in, she sat next to Luke and stroke Ben's little cheeks, kissing it after it.
"I miss both of you so much babe. Spending time with him, playing with him. I was scared that he would forget about me, about my voice" Luke said pulling Ben to his chest and rocking his baby boy, resting his right cheek on the top of his head.
"He missed you so much Luke. Every time you called, he was looking around trying to looking for you. It was heart breaking. But I missed you too. I miss having your body next to mine at night" Ines said looking at him, making Luke smiled
"Me too Ines. Since I became a father, my sense of responsibility is so high. Because now I have a life that depends on me and is part of me. I never thought I could feel a love that I felt the first moment I found out he was inside of you and when he born and I heard that baby crying and saw him in your arms, and I look to that tiny baby, that I made, I felt a love so strong for him. I would give my life for him and I will give my life for those beautiful girls and little boy that don't exist yet but I already love them"
Ines looked at Luke and her eyes filled with tears.
"I can thank you enough for choosing me to share that love for this baby. Sometimes I feel bad for thinking that if Nakari didn't die probably it was her here and not me. And feel like I'm a bad person for thanking that she is not here. I know you think of her, especially the day of her death anniversary. After all she was your first relationship, your first time was with her. I'm sorry Luke for thinking that sometimes. I know that is not the Jedi way"
Luke looked at Ines and lean forward he took her lips on his and laughed when Ben put his little right hand on their faces.
"I told you she is mine first" Luke laughed at his son, looking back at Ines, he told her "Ines, in fact I will never forget Nakari, for the reasons you told and I feel guilty for her death, yes. But you are not a bad person at all, especially because you feel bad for thinking that. You loved me. If it was the other way around I would think the same thing. The truth is, Ines, I never saw myself being married and have children with her. Yes I loved her, but when I thought of having a family, it was your image that always came into my mind, not her."
Ines looked at Luke. It was the first time he told that
"You never told me that. Since when?"
"I never told anyone this until now. When Nakari and I slept together for the first time, it was our first time for both of us. She was sleeping next to me and I couldn't sleep."
"Why?"
Luke looked at his son who was sucking his fingers making him smile at the sight.
"Because after we did it, some how I couldn't stop thinking of you. That was when I realize that I was in love with you too. And for some reason the two times Nakari and I made love, I wore protection. I didn't want to get her pregnant. With you I never even thought of that because deep inside I wanted to have a family with you and since I had that vision in Dagobah, that wish became stronger. So even if she didn't die, sooner or later, it was you I would go to. You are my other half Ines and I knew that right there"
Ines smiled at him
"I love you Luke"
"I…" kiss "Lo…" kiss "ve…" kiss "you" kissed her. "And when we return from dinner, I will show you that, the same way we made this one"
"Please do" Ines laughed
Hours later in Leia and Han's apartment:
It was around 2200 hours and the family were all gather around the dinning table. Leia was rocking a sleeping Ben's in her arms. Since she and Ines were okay again, Leia loved holding having her nephew in her arms. Her nephew was indeed a sweet calm baby that loved Chewie and his growls and also R2 and its beeps.
"Wait, are you saying that Newel guy tried to marry one of his daughters to you and you never told me until now?" Leia said to Han
"It is not my fault that I'm good looking"
"I don't know where you get your delusions laser brain" Leia told him the same phrase back when they were in the medical care, after Luke came out from the Wampa attack.
"Hey that means I'm a good looking guy too, after all he try the same thing with me" Luke told Han.
"Kid I think he tried to marry you with one of his daughter more because of your name, not looks" Han pointing at him.
"Hey my husband is super handsome and very sexy." Ines replied to Han
"Really? Handsome in what?"
"His blond hair and blue eyes that I adore and got me the first I saw him. His body and well let's say he is very good in many activities"
"How do you know he is good if you only slept with him" Leia said
"Look who is talking" Ines looked at her sister in law and they started laughing.
"Well at least Han didn't knocked me up the first time I slept with him. Really Luke. The first night with Ines and it was exactly the time she was fertile" Leia laughed at that making Luke and Ines looked at each other.
"I believe the force had something to do with it because we almost had sex a week earlier if it wasn't for 3PO" Luke told her
"That damn droid" Han said making Ines shake her head
"Poor 3PO" she said.
Ben whimp and opening his eyes he started to pout
"I guess this is our indication we need to go" Ines said to Luke and standing up, she picked her son from his aunt arms "Thanks for the dinner and Leia, it was delicious."
"It was. See you tomorrow" Luke said and they left leaving Han and Leia alone.
"We need to clean this before we go to bed" Leia said standing up
"Let 3PO do that. Right now I want to do something else" Han said and picking Leia up they head to the their bedroom.
Luke and Ines's apartment:
It was midnight and Luke and Ines were in their bed. Luke had his left arm underneath Ines neck while playing with her hair, while his right one was around her waist, having his chest pressing against her back, while their legs were intertwine. They passed the last hour making love and now they were enjoying each other.
Ines smiled feeling Luke's lips on her neck and going to her shoulder. Grabbing his right arm she rolled on her back and looked at him
"Leia was right, you are the only man I ever slept with and the only man I will give myself to." she said looking at him "I don't care if other man are better or not, I have enough right here. I never knew there was a pleasure so intense before and you are the one who show me that."
Luke looked at her
"I felt so special when you gave yourself to me for the first time, I was making sure your first time was the best for you"
"It was." she replied biting her lower lip
"I know it was" he said kissing her neck and reaching her ear he whispered "I felt your body reacting too it and I love every time it happens when we do it"
Ines laughed and looking at him
"Well in two weeks it yours and Leia's birthday. I hope you have the energy for that night cause I already have a special night for us" she said biting his lower lip gently
"Oh really, now I can't wait for it" and he kissed her deeply.
He was indeed so lucky to have her. He loved her with all his heart and he will love her forever. Now he couldn't wait for his 24th birthday.
What did you think the sweet moment between Father and Son and the family dinner time. Next it will Luke and Leia 24th birthday. A good time because something not good it is coming.
