Disclaimer:
I do not own the PJO characters. Also this was supposed to be posted yesterday but I was having trouble with my WiFi so I couldn't post.
"Why can't I just shadow travel there?" Nico complained as he continued to be carried in the air by my curse.
"Will is mad at you for using it so much lately and he made me promise not to let you shadow travel unless absolutely necessary," I explained.
"But it would be so much faster," he argued.
"But it drains your life, so Will and I do not want you to just go poof into thin air."
"Hey, your curse drains you too!"
"Not like yours, mine drains my energy, it doesn't drain my life."
"You don't know that, your curse could very well be draining your life, we just don't know yet. Your curse has a dark side just like my powers."
I just huffed and kept walking down the street. "Are we going to walk all the way to camp or what?" Nico growled.
"No, but it's good to walk a bit, plus I don't know how to call a cab," I said shyly.
"Okay, you've lived in New York for what, a year? And you don't know how to call a cab!"
"Well yeah, but I never left the street so everything was within walking distance. Plus I'm just too shy to do it."
"Fine, put me down." I put Nico down and once he had gotten a cab to let us in, (we tend to seem kind of scary, with me and my black cloak and Nico in all black) we headed to Camp Half-Blood.
The whole ride there Coral insisted on sitting on my lap and looking out the window. Nico though kept mumbling to himself on how he should have called Jules Albert.
We eventually got to camp. I stepped out of the car and immediately regretted it.
Thanks for reading! Sorry for such a short chapter but I'm starting to run out of time when I can type my chapters.
