Steve goggled at Bucky for a moment, then erupted into laughter and grabbed his friend in a ferocious hug. "God," he gasped. "It's so good to have you back!"
Bucky, half-laughing, half-crying, nodded and hugged him back.
After a minute, they pulled away from each other. Both men were a little red around the eyes, but they were still smiling.
"Listen, Stevie," Bucky said earnestly. "This is gonna turn into a real shitstorm. There's some stuff you don't know about -" He hesitated.
"Doesn't matter, Buck," Steve said confidently. "Whatever it is, whatever it takes, I got your back."
