Chapter 70 "Bishop's Gambit"

The rain was pouring outside, both of us were sitting and listening to it from the living room.
"So you and Raph?" I asked.
"Yeah," She said. "I've always liked him and I'm happy that I told him and he likes me as well so we're going to give it a try and see if it works out and I see you and Don are doing something as well."
"Yes, we have started on and off since New Year's Eve," I said.
"I think both of you were going to make it," Alex said.
"Thanks, Al," I said, "I also think you and Ralph would be a good couple and you do realize that Mikey and Ava will be here together."
Let's just hope that master splinter will not want to kill us for it." She said
"Yeah let's hope not." I laughed.
"Yep," she said, She quickly grabbed her head. "The guys are in danger."
"Let's go," I said, shooting up rushing to grab coats and shoes.
Alex shut up slipping on shoes grabbing the coat, she quickly grabbed our weapons and created a shadow travel portal. We appeared on the rooftop looking over to see the guys were laying on the ground passed out with what looked like Bishop's goons, getting ready to kill them.
"Neutralize Sir, your orders?" What looks like the leader of the guards asked? "You heard the man let's finish this."
"We need to act," Alex said.
Right as the guards were about to shoot Leatherhead appeared from the shadows.
"Now," I said.
We jumped from our hidden spot and assisted Leatherhead with the guards. We drag the guys back into the sewers into Leatherhead lair.
"How did you girls know that the boys are in danger?" He asked as he handed us cups filled with tea.
"Being a demigod and being a daughter of Hades," Alex said. "I have an ability to know when people I care about are in danger by getting a ring in my ear." She pointed to her ear.
"Interesting," he said. "What about you Tabatha, any interesting abilities?"
Allowing a smirk to come across my face. "I can break into anything and steal things," I said.
Hearing groans meeting the guys were coming to. "I think the guys are waking up."
We walked over to see that I was right.
"Master splinter! " Leo yelled.
"They abducted him," Leatherhead said. "I am sorry I couldn't stop them. Luckily the gas was non-lethal."
"Plus Alex sense that you guys are in danger," I added.
"How are you guys feeling?" She asked
"Which means whoever abducted your sensei wanted him alive." Professor Honeycutt said appeared from the shadow.
"Whoa, New threads Professor Honeycutt," Mikey said.
"Yes, those segments of my memories were purge we recovered blueprints from my former sal 1000 robot body, overusing earth technology makes it feel rather homemade," Professor Honeycutt said.
"I hope Master Splinter's alright," Leo said
"Well at least we know who took him," Raph said. "Those were bishops' flunky commandos,"
"Now all we have to do is find them."
Which made Alex groan out.
"But how?" Don asked
"Wait a minute, we still have bishops' subway car well at least half of it," Leo said. "Let's take this thing apart and find some answers."
Pulling the subway car apart.
"I can't seem to hack into the system a lot of this seems to be federation and try triceraton tech," Don said.
"As well as other alien tech that I am unable to classify it seems that this Bishop certainly gets around for an earthling." Professor Honeycutt said.
"Wait there an automatic recall layered into the train car sub circuitry," Leatherhead said pointing at the Monitor.
"And if we reactivate it." Professor Honeycutt said
"The recall signal should be triggered," Leatherhead said.
"And if we activate it'll take us right to Bishop's location," Don said.
"I don't understand why he can't go back to the deepest darkest hole of Tartarus where he belongs," Alex growled.
"What is your issue with Bishop even though we all hate him?" Mikey asked.
Alex groaned again before taking a breath and looked at everyone.
"My mom and him used to date," she groaned.
"What?" Raph questioned. "And when were you going to tell us about this?"
"It was something that I didn't think was going to come up," She said, surging her shoulders. "They date like ten years ago."
"Still why?" Don asked.
"He asks a lot about the myths and more importantly the offspring of gods and mortals," she muttered. "Mom finally listened to me and kicked him to the curb."
"That's why when you show him before when you kick his ass," Raph said. "You told him you learn from Hecate."
"Yup." She replied.
"Anyway let's get this train going," I said.
"Agree." She added.

The subway train roared towards who knew where.
"Okay next up Bishop central," Raph said.
The subway car came to a stop as we waited for Bishop's goons to come at us Leatherhead asked the attack followed by each of us attacking the goons.
"Leatherhead the door!" Leo yelled.
Who ran and holding the door up.
"Hurry I can't hold it much longer!" He cried out fighting with it.
We rushed past him and through the door before running to find Master Splinter. We soon came to a large room with what looked like a mad scientist lab that had pickled humans and generators.
"Master Splinter!" Leo yelled
Causing us to look and see that Master splinter was being covered in what looked like green juice of some kind.
"No Master Splinter!" Raph cried out
Clapping alerted us to someone that's all to see Bishop who walked from the shadows and easily stood above us.
"I must say I'm impressed that you found me," Bishop said, looking smug as ever. "But you won't be staying."
Leo and Raph jump ahead of us into action right as a creature which reminds me a lot of Wolverine and what he looked like when he was being trained in the Canadian wilderness. Said creature began to fight with Leo who unfortunately was outnumbered and sent flying followed by Raph, Who kept time with the wolverine knock off but was quickly sent flying followed by the rest of us laying on the ground of Bishop's lab gasping for air Alex was in eyesight and also breathing heavily before all of us forced ourselves back up.
"Get Master Splinter out of there!" I heard Leo order Professor Honeycutt.
"Absolutely," Professor Honeycutt said and ran off.
We stood weapons ready at the wolverine knock off raft say landed a direct hit the knock off pulled it off and cut heal before us his hand came free before grabbing both of Raph Sais and spent them before throwing them at Raph who pushed Mikey out of the way.
"Wow Bishop I see you're getting your horrible ideas from Comics," Alex growled
Ralph's Sais hit a power box and caused an explosion causing a Raph to go flying.
"Perhaps more of the comics get their ideas for me, Black," Bishop said.
The knock-off started to attack Mikey before Leo came swinging and said the knock-off line back and created a small electrical shock to itself before the mask came off showing a robot version of Bishop himself making all of us gasp.
"Bishop?" Don asked.
Bishop came walking down and stood next to the knock-off robot of himself.
"Handsome Devil if I do say so myself." He said.
"OK, now I'm officially freaked out," Mikey said
The robot growled before jumping up and climbing away.
"Oh believe me you ain't seen anything yet," Bishop said.
The robot looked back at us by turning his head a complete 180 growled and disappeared from our site.
"This just keeps getting better and better," Raph said, pulling his Sais out.
Gripping our weapons tightly and looking cautiously around to see if we could find this creature.
We kept close to each other as in Alex and myself, as well as we looked for the creature we didn't hear or see anything before Mikey called out "Guys he's over here!"
Racing over only to find Mikey on the ground looking hurt. "This guy doesn't play nice."
Helping Mikey up before hearing Raph yelled.
"Come out, come out wherever you are, you ugly freak."
I could hear Raph growl and grunt in pain.
"I think Raph is in trouble," I said
"Can you keep Mikey OK?" Alex asked.
"Go," I said
She took off running to help Raph.
Mikey and I kept walking together not sure if the creature was lying in wait for us.
"Professor Honeycutt, the tank seal it!" Leo yelled
Looking up to see the creature was in one of the tanks it began to cry out and shake from the electricity.
"My slayer!" Bishop cried out.
Following the cry to see Master splinter in Bishop we're fighting Master splinter winning of course.
"This is over Bishop!" Master Splinter called as a bishop dodged and managed to grab something and swung above and over Master Splinter.
"My plans are far from over rodent!" Bishop called. "You have no idea, no idea."
He landed away as we watched the two of them continue to fight with Bishop using a weapon very similar to my own he began to get sloppy as master Splinter stayed the course soon Bishop's weapon became stuck in a generator which masters splinter used to give him a nasty shock. Bishop cried out in pain but somehow he pulled his weapon out but this caused a large explosion which sent both Master splinter and Bishop flying but it seemed that Bishop got the short hook.
"Sensei!" Leo called as we rushed to Master Splinter's side.
"My children!" Master Splinter said.
"We have to get out of here," Leo said more explosions were happening around us. Followed by water rushing in, Master Splinter looked up and gasped making us look to see Bishop was gone from his hook.
"You will pay for these mutants one day!" Bishop yelled. Seeing his retreating form "you will all pay!"
"After him!" Mikey yelled.
"Hurry up!" Leo yelled as we gave Chase.
Reclined up only to find ourselves in Midtown and no Bishop with our weapons at ready.
"Whoa we are in the middle of Midtown," Mikey said.
"And bishops nowhere in sight," Leo said.
Master splinter walked past Leo and Don and looked out at the street that had water spilling out.
"We will see him again. Such men are hard to destroy." Master Splinter said.

Coming home after the crazy fight with Bishop, Alex seemed on edge.
"I need to talk to Mom about Bishop," She said. "I need to know what he wanted to know about the gods and demigods."
"I understand that Alex," I said. "But we need to focus on other things."
"Tabs please let me do this," she said. "If this gives some edge on what Bishop could be planning."
"Alright then," I said.
Alex P.O.V.
Tabs went into her room allowing me to ask mom privately about this. She was sitting at the dining room table looking over papers.
"Mom?" I asked.
"Yes," she said looking up.
"We need to talk," I said. "About Bishop."
"Why are you bringing him up? He has not been in our lives for ten years." She said.
"When you guys were dating why was he so obsessed with Greek myths and demigods?" I asked.
"He wanted to know what were some of the supposed abilities and powers that the Demigods could have," She said. "But I told him that they were just myths really."
Taking a breath and looking back at her.
"Thanks, Mom I was just wondering about that all," I said.
Walking back to my room, shutting the door before sitting on my bed mulling it all over my head, that's what Bishop was about. He wanted genetic makeup and he figured he could use demigod genetics. I pulled out my demigod cell phone and called Chiron to warn him of the threat at was Bishop.
