Reading and re-reading your comments have truly made my day. The delays come from my mental health, working double shifts, so I apologize when I go silent for so long. As always, a huge thank you to San Child of the Wolves, and DemonicAngelUsagi for your continued love, support and reviews. A big thank you to my new reader NeoMiniTails, and my Beta Reader fallingsnow6136.
A big warning for this chapter, abuse and rape are added to this chapter. I know I never put a warning before, I need to start now. I will have asterisk at the beginning of the scene to the end if any of you are uncomfortable with it. I will also add a warning to Constantine's rape scene.

Chapter 73
A Brand-new Hell
Kabuterimon flew closer to the tower, avoiding the attacks ready to grab the girls. SkullMeramon kept his eyes on the bug Digimon ready to strike him down.
"Oh no you don't. I am not allowing you to harm anymore people," Caturamon vowed as Kabuterimon grabbed Kiva, Tora, and Victoria in his claws flying to safety.
"Howl of Heaven!"
The supersonic howl deafened the Digidestineds causing the group to cover their ears as SkullMeramon tried to fight against such an attack.
"Treasure Hammer!" Caturamon transformed himself into a gigantic hammer slamming into SkullMeramon destroying him as if he were stone.
As soon as Kabuterimon landed on top of the Tower, Victoria, Tora, Kiva, and Yukito bolted down Tokyo Tower to the streets below going directly toward their Digimon, who lay motionless on the pavement. Fear filled them thinking the worst after such an attack from that kind of Digimon, even though Volcdramon was a powerful opponent, none of their attacks could land on SkullMeramon, without it being absorbed.
"Thank you, by the way for helping," Victoria admitted picking up Viximon. "He caught us off guard that's for sure."
"You're welcome. Honestly, we were in the neighbourhood and saw the situation on the Tower," James replied shrugging.
"I thought Volcdramon was tough, at least we could land attacks on him. SkullMeramon absorbed any and all fire attacks," Puppymon explained.
"Well, our toughest opponent is still out there, and he's biding his time. For how long, I don't know. Did you three have any luck yet?" Victoria asked switching topics.
"Not a singe one. This child either doesn't want to be found, or is so well hidden that none of us can locate them," Robert admitted.
"We can't give up hope. We'll keep a look out," Tora sighed.
Victoria glanced around the small group having a small reprieve that if her premonition were true, the group would do anything in their power to help. She was grateful for the group she called friends.
"Tori, are you okay? You seem distracted," Yukito asked concerned waving his hand in front of her face.
"Oh, just tired. Didn't get a lot of sleep lately," Victoria lied shrugging it off as she avoided the real answer.
"We should change that. Perhaps after another quick search, we should head home and you can get some sleep," suggested Robert.
"That…actually sounds like a great plan," Victoria admitted.
"Will you get back here?" shouted the very familiar voice of Ember.
"What the?"
The group turned their heads in time to see the giant green ghost dog Cujo charge at them. Ember was flying in tow with an exasperated expression.
"Ember, what is going on?" Victoria asked watching Cujo pass them.
"Cujo decided he wanted to go for a walk and being a cute little puppy was not in the game plan. Assistance would be greatly appreciated unless you want to explain the destruction he could cause."
"Come on guys, this will be an easier assignment."
Letting out small groans, the six humans and their Digimon ran down the streets cringing at the mess Cujo left in his wake."
Yumi curled up more into the warmth of her comforter and softness of her bed. She hated to admit it, she missed being in the comfort of her own room. Being a prisoner of Myotismon's was not enjoyable; however it was a reprieve from being away from her family.
The afternoon rays she loathed gave her a piece of serenity that perhaps everything would be all right. A soft groan escaped her as she opened her eyes, fighting against the outside light. She slowly began to adjust to the world as she staggered to sit up. Her body felt weak from days of torture and burning up from the infection that inhabited her body.
The first thing her eyes landed upon was the disaster zone that lay in the middle of her floor, along with ransacked bookcase with books recklessly strewn everywhere.
"You've got to be kidding me," Yumi groaned sliding her feet over the edge of the bed letting out a shaky breath. "I know full well I didn't have this mess when I left. Fucking asshole."
Yumi wasn't stupid, she knew exactly who did this and why. Yes, she wanted to kill them, but understood she had no energy to deal with the two.
Letting out a sigh, Yumi stood up from her bed on shaky legs and staggered out of her room toward the bathroom. She leaned against the wall for support as her legs screamed in pain. Yumi lost count where all her wounds came from. Beatings from her step-father, to her time with Myotismon, it all began to blend together.
After washing her hands and turning on the shower, Yumi leaned against the counter facing the mirror letting out a sigh, peeling off the raggedy clothes and stared at her reflection as she waited for the water to warm up.
Her once pale skin was now covered in black, blue and purple bruises leading from her face, to her neck, and down to her torso. In random areas of her chest, abdomen, and arms were swelling purplish colouration from cigarette burns. The colouring around the burnt areas had changed colours over the extended days and green discharge oozed out of the wounds. The incision on her belly became more infected in the last nine days. Fang marks trailed over her neck, shoulders, and wrists. Turning slightly Yumi noticed the welts on her back, legs and arms were just as horrible as they were days ago.
A scowl formed on her reflection as she slammed her fist on the counter. 'How weak and pathetic can I be? I don't care what I have to do, I need to leave this apartment permanently, if I don't, I know I will die.' Angry tears formed in her eyes as the steamed obscured her vision.
Yumi took in a deep breath as she stepped into the shower letting out a hiss of pain. Her legs buckled the minute the water hit her skin as she bit back her scream. Pressing her hand on the wall, she allowed the water to stream over her body. One day Yumi would get her revenge, one day she would leave.
'You need to leave now, escape before they kill you,' a voice in the back of her head yelled.
Struggling with the rest of the shower, Yumi turned off the water and reached for the towel on the rack. Drying off with a few curses escaping her mouth, Yumi applied new bandages over all her wounds before heading back to her room. All she wanted to do was get into her pyjamas and go back to bed. She would contact Victoria later.
Kaitoumon and Wizardmon flew over the busy streets of Saitama. Kaitoumon refused to be anywhere new Odaiba and Myotismon's cronies. If any of them reached the two Digimon the two were dead. Wizardmon continued to ask his friend repeatedly why they were so far away from Odaiba. Kaitoumon would let out a sigh refusing to answer him truthfully.
Wizardmon heaved a sigh of annoyance as he shook his head. Normally he did not mind being dragged away with Kaitoumon; however, he didn't like the idea of being separated from his partner in these crucial times. Not only that, not having a real answer being given was a big pet peeve of his and something he wasn't fond of with Kaitoumon lately.
"Kaitoumon, at least answer me this. I understand we need to search for the child and all, but why go this far from the city? Not only that, why are we avoiding the hideout? Not like I'm complaining or anything, but is there something I need to know about?"
Kaitoumon stopped dead in his tracks racking his brain for any answer that wouldn't reveal the full truth. Wizardmon couldn't know Yumi was in Myotismon's clutches, or that the vampire Digimon knew the truth. The Dragon Digimon kicked himself for not protecting Yumi or getting her out in the first place. He had to keep Wizardmon distracted enough.
"I just thought we should extend our search, perhaps it wasn't just Odaiba that child could be in. Besides, the others have this under control," Kaitoumon explained.
"Kaitoumon, are you keeping something from me?" Wizardmon asked raising an eyebrow.
"Absolutely not. And don't think about reading my thoughts, you don't have my permission," Kaitoumon warned giving Wizardmon a stern look.
Wizardmon returned the same look before raising his hands. "All right. But can you give me your word that Yumi is all right? I haven't been able to get a hold of her in a few days."
Kaitoumon's eyes widened wondering if Wizardmon at least caught that tid bit of information, or was it leaked through the army that Myotismon had her? Oh Bios, he couldn't find out, he couldn't lose his friend.
"Honestly, I have been too busy searching with you I haven't noticed."
Wizardmon nodded as he landed on a building overlooking the city. The day after Wizardmon and Yumi were reunited, their meetings were cut short. Sure, Wizardmon would watch from a distance, but it was like he couldn't get back to her. His heart broke not being around her, and he was sure she felt the same. If he could not be by Yumi's side, he would have Kaitoumon watch over her. Kaitoumon reported that Yumi stood strong against her stepfather then just disappeared. No hint of her was whispered around the ground when he would fly by.
"Wizardmon, get out of your thoughts, it's not good for you. How about we enjoy our day, no one will find us here. Myotismon can kiss our asses," Kaitoumon said nudging his friend landing next to him.
Wizardmon smiled slightly behind his cowl. Kaitoumon was right of course, what were they going to accomplish? His fate was bounded to someone else, and getting out of the army was crucial for his survival.
"Okay, we need a new game plan for you. You found your partner, someone you searched endlessly since their arrival in the Digital World. You can't end it there. There's no satisfaction. What is the next step for you?"
"To survive?" Wizardmon replied nonchalantly.
"That's it? Not even to escape? Be with her?"
"Kaitoumon! You don't think I don't want that? But I'll be constantly on the run while he's still around."
"Then we find a way to end him. You've said it yourself since Kudamon, you and me met. You and I follow only Kudamon."
"Who follows Myotismon."
"Only because he has control over her. Make her remember the old days and get her out of there and I'm sure she'll go with us."
"You think very suicidal Kaitoumon. If any of the other soldiers or ghosts gets wind of these plans, we will perish."
"One day my friend, we will be free."
"I hope you are right," Wizardmon let out a sigh looking up at the afternoon sky before his eyes went wide. Constantine! Yggdrasil, he promised Constantine he would visit whenever he could and it had been days.
"Kaitoumon, since I'm being denied going to the hideout for unknown reasons, I need you to go back and check on Constantine. He's been through a lot with Myotismon and I feel that he won't hold on much longer."
"The idea was for the two of us to avoid…okay, okay," Kaitoumon quickly raised his hands seeing the look on his friend's face.
"Just go in and check up on him. Tell him I sent you and you are a friend. He might not be as questioning."
Kaitoumon simply nodded getting to his feet.
Victoria gawked at the destruction of the streets, the cars were turned upside down, signs bent, and roads ripped up. At first it appeared a destructive Digimon went on rampage until a thunderous bark sounded blocks away.
"There is no explanation for this. We had to get a dog with anger issues," Victoria groaned rounding a corner.
"How in the world does he cause this much damage?" Tora questioned.
"Running loose, and on a mission. Cujo destroys everything," Ember explains ticking off the reasons on her fingers.
"Well hopefully he leads us somewhere soon," Yukito said wiping his forehead leaning against the wall.
"Rabid dog!"
A crowd of people ran by screaming the opposite way from Cujo. Growling could be heard rumbling down the street but no pounding footsteps. Victoria raised an eyebrow as she made her way down the street turning into an alley where Cujo lay next to a husky whining a bit.
Victoria's eyes went wide the moment she spotted the tired looking husky. After eight days of searching and worrying endlessly, all her fur babies were back to her. Hesitantly Victoria stepped forward worried Akasha would run or growl at her.
Akasha lifted her head wearily at her owner, her fur was covered in mud, blood, there was bite marks, and scratches all over her body. Tears welled up in Victoria's eyes as she dropped to her knees.
"My poor baby. I've should have searched harder for you," Victoria reached out gently petting her head. "We got to get her to a vet."
Yukito rushed to her side pulling out a bottle of water and poured it on his hand for Akasha to drink. "Good idea. But is it wise to move her in her condition?"
"We have to try."
As the group discussed how they were going to transport Akasha, from behind the dumpster Klemper poked his head around to watch them. He was happy that the group found the dog. He was worried no one would come for her.
~Flashback~
After dropping Yumi off and being told to go into hiding away from the hideout, Klemper came upon the alley only to find a wounded dog. A frown came over his face as he sat next to the creature gently petting its fur careful not to hurt her.
"Will you be my friend?" Klemper asked.
Akasha lifted her head licking his hand in response before resting her head on his lap. All night, Klemper stayed up with her every so often talking to her, other times just staying silent. Anxiety filled him thinking he would be found and something horrible would happen to them. It had been hours since he helped Yumi escape and he didn't know the next plan of attack.
As morning came around, Klemper slipped away from the alley in search for food, obviously not for himself but for Akasha. The streets were quiet, making it easy for him to move freely. Locating a market, Klemper grabbed a few items and water before returning to the alley and placed the food in front of dog urging her to eat.
As the day went by, Klemper did all he could to keep the husky comfortable and safe. He noticed that no humans ever entered the alley to check on the dog. It wasn't until later in the afternoon he noticed something heading their way, at first, he wasn't sure if it was friend or enemy. The thunderous barking of Cujo echoed in the distance.
Klemper was in a mix of happy and shock when he saw Cujo come barrelling down the street toward the alleyway. Thinking quickly Klemper hid behind the dumpster bidding his time.
~End Flashback~
Cujo blinked as he lifted his head sniffing the air, there was someone else here, not just the group. Ember blinked as she watched him before her eyes landed on the dumpster noticing a small piece of striped material poking around the corner.
"Ember, what is it?" Tora asked.
"Another ghost. Klemper, come on out, no one here is going to hurt you," Ember coaxed.
"Will they be my friend?" Klemper asked stepping out to face them.
Ember looked at the group raising her eyebrow silently telling them to go along with it so Klemper could feel trusted.
"Of course we'll be your friend. You're safe with us," Tora said stepping forward.
"New friends. New friends."
Yumi pushed the door to her room open stopping in her tracks seeing Takashi standing in the middle of her room. His eyes narrowed when he gazed upon her.
"You little wench, where the hell have you been?" Takashi demanded.
"None of your business. If my mother was worried, highly doubtful, but if she were, she can ask me herself," Yumi retorted crossing her arms holding the towel tightly.
"You ungrateful, insolent little brat!"
"Oh like I haven't heard that one before," Yumi sighed trying to figure out her next move. She felt too exposed in only her towel and facing up against her stepfather, she preferred to be clothed.
Yumi didn't realize Takashi advanced upon her until she felt a sharp sting on her cheek. "Don't you dare speak to me like that again you bitch!"
Yumi glared at the man, this was the last straw. She had been abused long enough by him. Her poor beaten; tired, lacerated body couldn't take any more from him. She wished Myotismon had killed her when she was his prisoner.
Takashi removed her belt and folded it into his hands snapping it threateningly. Not like Yumi hadn't dealt with the belt before, the threat never lasted in her mind. Takashi was going to be upping his game.
Yumi froze staring at the belt, her heart stopped beating. It was only for a moment, but it was there, an anomaly in the rhythm. She wasn't sure if her body could handle anymore torture. The amount of blood she lost yesterday could cause her to pass out.
Takashi dropped the belt to the ground, and slowly began to advance on Yumi. Yumi stood her ground and met Takashi's gaze, trying desperately to keep her eyes and will steady as she faced up to the monster that walked out of her nightmares and taken control of her life.
Yumi quickly dodged to the right as Takashi left an opening between him and the room. She just needed distance from him. She knew if she ran back into the hallway, he would chase her and drag her back. Yumi began the chase, footsteps thumping over the wood floor as Yumi kept her distance from the crazed man. Takashi wasn't having this; this was the final stray. Grabbing her arm, he yanked her back to him catching her off guard as she fell to the ground feeling an agonizing pain sear through her shoulder as it popped out of it socket.
Takashi pulled her to her feet ignoring the scream of pain coming from Yumi as he forced her on to the bed, the towel discarded on the floor. Yumi never understood why her screams went unheard with the neighbours.
Takashi slammed her wrist mercilessly against the headboard tying it with a leather strap that was attacked to the bedpost. Yumi watched in sick horror as Takashi tugged on the leather strap tightening it. She thrashed and jerked at the straps, using whatever little energy she possessed.
"Get the fuck off me you, you asshole! Why are you doing this?" Yumi screamed.
"To teach you a lesson, you will never forget," Takashi hissed ignored Yumi's screams and thrashing. He admired the welts, and scars he caused, as well as the ones Myotismon inflicted. He ran his fingertips down her spine, eliciting a violent shudder and more swearing and thrashing from the girl.
Satisfied Yumi was bound tightly to the bedpost, Takashi got off the bed and went over to the discarded belt on the floor and folded the belt in half before going over to the bed.
"Where were you?" Takashi demanded.
"Fuck you!" Yumi growled. Her eyes widened feeling the leather connecting to her back and to the other raised welts. She bit back the urge to cry.
"Care to try again?" Takashi asked raising his arm.
"Go to Hell!" Takashi arched forward as Yumi let out a shrill scream. Yumi's body shook in pain bowing her head trying to disassociate herself from the whippings. The horrible denouement of the cracks filled the rooms punctured by soft whimpers. The belt lashed across her body several more times. On the last lash, the young girl slumped over, limp, tears streaked her face.
Takashi smirked at the sight of Yumi's shivering, blood-streaked back, cringing over the dark comforter splattered in red. A sickening grin formed on his face as he once again ran his fingertips down her back from shoulder blade to just above her ass. Yumi arched in pain, flinching away from his touch.
"We are going to try this again," Takashi warned. "Where have you been these last few days?"
Yumi turned her head away, battling her hatred and shame. Takashi reached over and picked up the belt, then carefully placed his hand where Yumi could see it. Yumi didn't need any more warning than that.
"You're a sick man," she whispered, her voice hoarse after the screaming.
Yumi wanted to throw up as Takashi snaked his arm around her body and began to touch and fondle whatever skin he could get his hands on. He groped her breasts, pinching her nipples with one hand and the other hand moved further down between her legs. Yumi closed her eyes feeling his fingers in her. She would rather be dead than dealing with the humiliation. Hell she would take Myotismon's torture over this.
More and more Yumi felt Takashi's finger her and massage her skin. She forced her mind to go to a happier place away from her bedroom, even if briefly.
Takashi grabbed her hips and forced himself into her causing her to scream in pain. Tears ran down her cheeks feeling like she was going to vomit and was heaving between breaths and screams. Her lower half felt like it was on fire. She rubbed her wrists raw with the leather straps, and she had no means of escape as Takashi pinned her body against the headboard roughly.
Kaitoumon was true to his word to Wizardmon, he returned back to the hideout almost an hour later keeping his eyes out for any Digimon that may or may not linger around the base. He knew full well Myotismon would be there still, and his mood would not be the greatest. Yumi hadn't been out of the cell for all of twenty-four hours and he could be infuriated.
Creeping into the base, Kaitoumon ran down the hall keeping an eye out for any unexpected visitors. Turning a corner, Kaitoumon flew down the stairs and cautiously made his way down the hall passing the many cells.
Rounding a corner, Kaitoumon saw Constantine lying in his cell, back to the door. Kaitoumon cautiously stepped closer not wanting to scare the poor child. He took pity on the teenager; the hell he had to put up with in the clutches on the sadistic vampire was horrendous.
Kaitoumon gripped the bars feeling his heart break at the sight of his broken body. His tattered clothes barely resting on his body. New and old blood was caked into his hair among other fluids. Scratches riddled his body, and bite marks covered a fraction of his torso.
As Kaitoumon eyed the boy, something caught his attention lying next to him. Raising an eyebrow, Kaitoumon quickly scanned the area making sure the coast was clear before fiddling with the lock and steeped inside. The boy never moved when Kaitoumon entered the cell, making him think he was truly asleep or zoned so far out, his presence didn't matter to him.
Stepping closer, Kaitoumon noticed what the item truly was. A Digivice. Could he truly be the tenth child they were all looking for? If that were the case, how was it Myotismon never caught on yet? Reaching down to pick it up, a strained but firm voice spoke up.
"Don't touch it!"
Kaitoumon paused noticing Constantine forcing himself to turn over. Inwardly Kaitoumon let of a gasp seeing the poor boy. Myotismon truly did a number on him. How he was still alive was beyond Kaitoumon. He wasn't sure if Wizardmon had seen him thus far, he was certain he didn't want him too.
"That's mine. Leave it alone!" Constantine spoke again reaching for it just as Kaitoumon's claws neared the device.
A blinding light shone from the device flooding the two. Constantine blinked sensing a connection with the Digimon before him. For the last four years, Constantine thought his search was fruitless and perhaps it was a joke that he should possess a Digimon at all.
Kaitoumon let out a gasp as visions of his past flooded his mind. From the time that he hatched he knew nothing but slavery, and torture. Piedmon made sure as he was Digivolving to make sure any knowledge of his true path was blocked. This truly gave him a new light that he was destined for greater things.
As the light faded, Kaitoumon and Constantine stared at each other baffled at what just occurred.
While Kaitoumon was still distracted enough, Constantine grabbed the Digivice and brought it close to his chest. He was still uncertain of the Digimon before him.
"Who are you?" Constantine asked hesitantly sitting up.
"I am a friend of Wizardmon's. My name is Kaitoumon. And there's no doubt in mind that you are Constantine."
"Where is Wizardmon? And what was that strange light?"
"Wizardmon sends his apologies. Due to certain circumstances as of the last twenty-four hours, he is keeping his distance. He sent me instead to check up on you. I don't need to hazard a guess that 'I'm fine' is not part of your vocabulary. How are you surviving?" Kaitoumon asked kneeling down before the boy.
"There is no answer to that question. The damage he had inflicted upon me is destroying me from the inside out. I honestly have no idea if I can survive another day in this Hellhole."
Kaitoumon couldn't answer that. He saw exactly himself in the boy. Since his time with the Dark Masters, Kaitoumon began to slowly break. He wished for death more than once.
"Keep your mind focused on something. Other than here. You are not alone in the torture Myotismon inflicts. Wizardmon and I have dealt with his cruelty more than once."
Constantine sighed glancing down squeezing the device lightly. He was close to breaking no matter what he did. He was drained from the constant feedings, humiliated from the rape and beatings he received.
"As for the light," Kaitoumon spoke breaking his train of thought. "Is a connection between Digimon and their partner having for the first time. It helps to signify a bond that has been hidden. Because we have been separated for many, many years, it is a way for a bond to form. I've only ever seen once before," Kaitoumon explained.
"What I don't understand it, I went to the Digital World four years ago and when I went in, no Digimon waited for me, all the while Dragomir possessed his partner, a Dorumon. Why has it taken so long for you to show yourself?"
Kaitoumon let of a sigh, he had a feeling this would come up sooner or later. No sense keeping it from the boy. "Here's the thing. I don't have a wonderful story of me searching and waiting for my partner. When I hatched, I was face to face with evil from the very start. All these memories have been locked away from me for so long. I was supposed to be together with a partner the very first round but that got taken away when Piedmon took my egg, the ones doing all the experiments and planning managed to save one.
"As time went on, I grew up knowing only hate or hurt. I would be punished for the tiniest of things. I didn't matter what it was, I was given the blame. As the years went by, they would train me when they deemed me worthy. I was able to Digivolve from the strength leading from my In-training to Rookie to Champion. It took me time to be able to hold my Champion form without resorting back from exhaustion," Kaitoumon explained. He pointed to the eye patch. "Days before I took to my escape, Piedmon took my eyes when I disobeyed him. He wanted to make an example of me. When I got my strength back, I took to my escape which was short lived. I barely had a week on my own when I was captured again, this time by Myotismon's henchmen. The punishments only grew severe; I just got out of one captor to be led to another. It was there I met Wizardmon and Kudamon and after some time, we became friends and have looked after each other."
Constantine stared at him in shock, amazement and wonder. All these years ago, Constantine cured at the fact he never possessed a Digimon and became jealous of his brother and his partner for a bond they build over their time in the Digital World. Constantine felt like a third wheel to them always needing his older brother to rescue him.
The dangers and threats both had to deal with were severe. Those threats though came from Constantine's pettiness when he would wonder off to try and find his partner. His brother was none too pleased when he had to get him.
"Constantine, is everything all right? You've been quiet. I am sorry if I disappointed you in anyway. I wish I had an idea of my true path so I could have had more meaning to my life and searched for you. Damn the Dark Masters for stepping in and ruining it."
"I'm not disappointed. You have been through so much as it was, and you stayed strong even after all this time. I've been trapped in Myotismon's grasp for days and I feel like I am going to shut down."
"Constantine, look at me. I promise you, when I am able to…"
"Don't promise something you won't be able to keep."
"I give you my word and my bond I will find a way to get you free of this cell. You just have to be patient a little while longer."
"I will hold you to it then. You might want to get out of here before the Warden shows up, or Myotismon."
"And keep that hidden, Myotismon sees it, it'll be the end. Till we meet again."
Constantine placed the Digivice back into his pocket before laying down as Kaitoumon stepped out of the cell scanning the area before taking off for the stairs.
Green eyes glowed in the dark as a figure in an all-white suit wearing a fedora materialized, a grin forming on his face. Oh, how sweet this truly was.
Yumi leaned against the headboard in total exhaustion. Her back screamed in agony from the lashing, her lower half of her body was in agony from what conspired. Tears that fell down her face dried over time. She felt disgusted in herself and ashamed over what happened. If she only opted to stay with her cousins, or Victoria for that matter, she wouldn't been in this position. She was bleeding and sticky from the leaking fluids. Her only saving grace was Takashi was not in the room anymore.
Fighting against the fatigue that threatened to take her, Yumi fought with the leather strap that still bound her wrists to the headboard. No matter how long it took her, once she freed herself, she was getting dressed and leaving the Hellhole. She never should have complained about being in the cell, that sadistic vampire never would have done this to her.
After several minutes of fighting with the buckle, Yumi brought her hands to her chest rubbing them gently to get the feeling back. Eyeing the room, Yumi gave herself five minutes to gather what she needed and leave.
Getting off the bed, Yumi braced herself against the bedside table, her legs were shaky unable to hold her weight. This could prove interesting when she tried to escape the apartment. Taking a deep breath, Yumi picked up her school bag from the corner of the room and packed as much as she could. She wasn't sure how long she would be gone for; all she knew she didn't want to be there anymore.
Grabbing a pair of comfortable, loose fitting black track pants and a baggy black hoodie, Yumi went back to the bathroom and grabbed a washcloth and ran it under warm water before wiping down her legs and inner thighs as best she could. A hiss escaped her as she went over the wounds. 'Keep it together girl, faster you get through this, the quicker we can leave.'
Finishing what she could through the pain, Yumi changed into the clothes, pulling the hood over her head and went back to her room to gather her bag and put on the shoes before heading to the door. "This is the last time you shall ever hurt me."
Kaitoumon sped through the late afternoon sky determined to get back to Wizardmon. Excitement coursed through his body at the knowledge that he was meant for something bigger. He had a partner, and he's been right there. He was thankful it wasn't the tenth child; it would spell out disaster for the two. However, if Myotismon caught wind of Kaitoumon's new found partnership…of Yggdrasil they were dead.
Landing on the building next to Wizardmon, he sat down unable to contain the grin on his face as he stared into the distance.
"Kaitoumon…how's Constantine?" Wizardmon asked after a few moments of silence.
"He's holding in there," Kaitoumon replied.
"O…kay. How are you doing?" Wizardmon asked noticing the grin.
"Doing great."
"What's so great?"
"I now have an idea of what you've been going through all this time."
Wizardmon blinked stumped at what he was just told. "Come again?"
"You have been going insane when we found out about the Digidestineds in the Digital World, which in turn, turned into a mixture of excitement and anxiety for Yumi's safety. I get it now."
"What are you?"
"I am a Digidestined Digimon!"
"You're the Tenth Digimon?" Wizardmon gawked eyes wide.
"No. I was meant to be partnered with a child four years ago. Well if the Dark Masters didn't interfere."
"Who is the child?"
"Constantine."
A/N: Walker knows. What is he going to do with the information, what would that mean for Constantine and Kaitoumon? At least now, Yumi is finally out of the clutches of her stepfather, only time will tell where she goes.
Guys' thank you so much for your patience these past nine months. Covid has not been helping stress wise. Until the next chapter. Love you guys. Honestly this chapter should have been up sooner, I lost all of my information and dealing with crappy desktops and laptops.
