It has been a rough 2 months in the Grant family. Fitz and Olivia had to rush back from St. Lucia to be with Bibi. Bibi was diagnosed with a Grade 1 tumor. They wanted to go in and remove it, which they did. But when they went in they discovered she had a clot and she suffered an aneurysm. It caused her to have a stroke. She had been having headaches and blurred vision but she didn't want to tell Gerry but during her doctor's visit she asked for some stronger headache reliever and the doctor ordered an MRI just to be safe. Liv has been by herself.
"I hate this," Bibi says.
"I know you do," Liv says as she has just cleared her tray away. "I don't want to live like this."
"Like what?" LIv asks.
"Like an invalid," Bibi finishes.
"You are not an invalid. The doctor says you can recover from this but this is all up to you. It's all on you," Liv says.
"You don't know what this is like Olivia. You don't know how this feels. I can't even play with my grandbabies."
"No I don't know what this is like for you but I know what it is like. My father suffered debilitating strokes and it eventually took his life but I was there. I was there for it all and it took my father from me, from our family. But I was there for the rehabilitation and watching the pain he was in trying to be Eli Pope again."
Bibi didn't know all of this. Maya had told her bits and pieces but not everything. "I am sorry."
"I don't want you to be sorry, I want you to fight. You had a stroke, let's be glad it wasn't worse than it was. We are going to get you back in tip top shape."
"I hope so," Bibi says sadly. "Why are you here taking care of me? You should be doing anything else."
"You are my mother in law who I happen to love a great deal. You are like another mother to me and you need me. Nurses are great and all but there's nothing better than family."
"My son was smart for marrying you. I love you like a daughter," Bibi says.
"Remember the pep talk you gave me when I was doubting me and Fitz's relationship. You remember how scared I was. And you set me straight," Liv reminds her.
"I didn't want you to run from something that was good for you and my son. I could see the future and it was bright for you and Fitz and I was right."
Liv smiles, "And it's bright for you too. You have 4 little people who are going to demand that you get better and get that right side moving again."
"But nothing will ever be the same. What if I have another stroke? I am at risk now. What if the tumor comes back and the next time it's cancerous," Bibi says.
Liv takes her hand, "Mom," she smiles. "We are not going to focus on the negatives. We are going to focus on the positives which is, getting you better."
Bibi studies Liv for a moment, "I am sorry me getting sick had to cut your trip short. That was supposed to be a getaway for you and Fitz."
"We only had two days left and we didn't care about that. We wanted to be here for you. That was important. My husband is a momma's boy and I am okay with that," Liv smiles.
"You two are okay," Bibi says.
"I think we are. I finally got out of my own way so I could talk to my husband. I just didn't want to dump everything on me. My past caught up with me and I didn't know how to live in the present. It was just hitting me so hard. Before I knew it, I was drowning in my thoughts," Liv explains.
"I raised my son to be compassionate, loving, and honest. But he's not without flaws, none of us are. Who would have thought I would have found my way back to Big Gerry? Truth is, that cheating bastard, is the love of my life. I was so angry with him because I loved him so much. You love my son so much which is why you didn't want to talk to him," Bibi says.
"Because I didn't want him to run. I know it's stupid but that's what scared me," Liv says.
"He is never going to leave you," Bibi says. "Love is strange. It consumes you and makes you crazy but when it's real. It's real."
"Your son has given me the greatest life. A life I never saw for myself. What is important to him, is important to me. I'm here because you are a part of that great life I have now. I want you to get better. I need my mother in law. My husband needs his mother. Victoria and my children need their grandmother. And Dad, he couldn't live without you."
"Dad nearly lost his mind while you were in that coma. He couldn't live without you, believe me," Liv says.
Hospital Night:
Fitz and Liv are rushing through the hospital corridors. Polly and Rosie took the kids home. Liv and Fitz rushed straight to the hospital from the airport. They make it to Bibi's room, to find Big Jerry asleep in the chair beside her, holding her hand. Fitz goes over and gently pats his father on the shoulder. Big Gerry is startled awake.
"Pop," Fitz says as he then turns and looks at his mother. She looks so peaceful. Big Gerry gets up, hugging his son. He then hugs Olivia. Fitz takes a breath. The visual of his mother is breathtaking and not in a good way. He's never seen her like this. She looks helpless and weak. That's not his mother. "How is she?
Liv has gone to Big Gerry's side. "She's okay," he answers. "These bastards say it was a good thing it ruptured when they were already in there." Fitz gives his dad a stare. Liv notices it, hoping she doesn't have to diffuse the situation right there.
"I can't believe you and mom kept this from me," Fitz says.
"I didn't want to keep it from you. I wanted to tell you," Gerry defends.
"But….."
"Fitz, not now," Liv says.
"She's my mother. I deserved to know something this serious was happening with her," Fitz says angrily.
"She didn't want you two to cut your trip short. She knew you needed time away. The doctor said it was going to be a simple procedure," Big Gerry explains.
"Well it didn't turn out that simple. She's had a stroke and she's in a coma," Fitz recaps as if Gerry doesn't know.
"I don't know what else I can say but I'm sorry son," Big Gerry says.
"Fitz, why don't we go and get some coffee or some snacks." Liv rubs Big Gerry's arm. "Dad," Liv says, rubbing his arm. "When was the last time you slept? Have you eaten today?"
"No, I am not hungry plus I want to be here when she wakes up," Gerry answers.
Fitz is immediately feeling guilty for being so angry, "Pop, you need to eat. Why don't you get something? I'll sit here with mom."
"But what if she wakes up?" Gerry says.
"We won't be gone long," Liv interjects.
"Okay," Gerry says as he reaches down and kisses Bibi's forehead. "I'll be right back, my little firecracker." Liv looks at Fitz as Gerry kisses her. "I love you Babara," Gerry says as he and Olivia turn and leave.
Big Gerry and Liv are in the cafeteria. Big Gerry is playing around with his turkey sandwich. He looks up at Liv. "You need to eat that. Ellie and Tina do a better job eating their sandwich than their Pop Pop is doing right now."
"There's a lot on my mind," Gerry says.
"She's one of the strongest women I know. She's going to wake up, calling you a bastard in no time," Liv smiles, trying to make him find laughter in the moment.
"I'd be any bastard she wanted me to be right now, if she just opened her eyes."
Liv reaches over and holds his hand, "You have to be strong for her right now. That's what she needs from all of us. We have to want her to get better. That's our job right now."
Big Gerry is just staring at Liv. He's wanted to say this for some time but he the moment never seems to present itself, now it is. "I never thanked you."
Liv tilts her head, "For what?"
"I think you are the main reason Bibi and I found our way back together." he says.
"How so? I think you and Mom did that all on your own. You got your groove back without me," Liv smiles.
"After Christopher died and I screwed up royally. Let's just say I kept on screwing up. Bibi had Fitz and Victoria. That's all she wanted to have. She hated my guts. Rightfully so," Gerry admits. "Fitz took care of her the way I should have. And then he met you. You made him so happy and you gave him a real family. You gave him a new love of life and he opened his heart to forgive me. You coming into his life changed him. Barbara got a family again. I ruined all that for us and Fitz falling in love gave it all back."
"I think, your love for each other, is what brought you back together. You may have screwed up and lost your way but you came back. If it is one thing I've learned over the last two years, you can lose your way and if you are lucky enough to find your way back, you are a better person for it."
"We got a second chance. Is this some cruel joke from God to take her away from me. I suppose I deserve it. I supposed I don't deserve a second chance."
"Bibi needs to hear the hope in your voice. She needs to hear you believing it will be okay. She will fight if you make her believe she has something to fight for. Do you love her?"
Gerry looks at her confused. "What?"
"Do you love her?" Liv repeats.
"Yes I do," Gerry says confidently. There are tears forming in his eyes. He's trying to be strong and not cry in front of Liv. "I can't lose her. I feel like we finally got it all right. I want that woman to be holding my hand when I take my last breath. We have so many memories still left to make."
"She loves you. I'm sure of it and she wants the same thing, so she is going to kick this stroke's ass."
"I have so much to make up for with her, with Fitz. But I need her here with me," Gerry explains.
"We all make mistakes and yours are bigger than others but people forgive because they love and they love you. They know you are trying."
"You know what she told me she was most worried about?" Gerry says.
"What's that?"
"See the babies grow and want to spoil them rotten. She wants to live to see that," Gerry explains.
"And she will," Liv smiles. "You want to go back."
"I am sorry we didn't tell you and Fitz before you left," He adds.
"I understand why you did it and believe me, Fitz understands. He's just scared. He's just unsure. But we are family and we go through things together. So don't spare us, involve us."
Fitz gets up, reaching for Liv's hand, "Us Grant men sure do love spitfire women, don't we?"
"Yes you do. You know why?" Liv smiles.
"Why?" Gerry says tilting his head
"Because you strong men need strong women and a swift kick in the ass sometimes," she chuckles. Big Gerry lets out a big laugh. A laugh he hasn't been able to muster since this happened. They walk back to the room to check on Bibi.
Bibi smiles at her, "You are just making it up to make me feel better."
"No, I'm not. He loves you and he wants more chances to prove that. So, you can sit here and feel sorry for yourself or you can fight to get out of this chair," Liv says.
"I want to see the babies. Can we do that?"
"They would love to see you," Liv says as she gets up and takes hold of Bibi's chair to bring her to the playroom.
Fitz and Victoria are having lunch at Lemonade in Beverly Hills. He just stares at the young woman in front of him. They have been strained since the incident when Victoria was home for Thanksgiving. Fitz and Olivia walked in on Victoria and Hunter having sex in the entertainment room. Needless to say, Fitz was not happy. There was a big blow up that left both sides angry with the other.
"I am glad you were able to come down and see your grandmother," Fitz says.
"Of course I would," Victoria says. "You know I called her right before her surgery. I wanted to just come down for the weekend and she gave me every excuse in the world why it was a bad idea."
"She's very stubborn that way," Fitz says. He looks at her. His 19 year old daughter. He can't figure out where the time went. "Grant women can be very stubborn."
"Just headstrong," she answers. "Liv is headstrong," she reminds him.
"And very stubborn, when she wants to be but don't tell her that," Fitz says.
The awkwardness is evident for both of them. "I'm sorry dad. I am sorry for what I did."
"We don't have to talk about that," Fitz says. He's still upset about it, no matter how much time has passed.
"I think we need to talk about it. I never should have done that in your house. It was irresponsible and careless."
"You are so young Victoria. Sex is a very serious thing," Fitz says.
"Dad, I know that and we were safe. And I am on birth control," Victoria explains.
"I can't believe your mother agreed to that. I mean I guess if you are going to be sexually active, that's the responsible thing to do but."
"Liv knew about it. I talked to her too," Victoria says.
"Liv knew when you decided to go on birth control," Fitz says surprised.
"Yes, it was during the trial and you two were at odds. I talked to her before I talked to mom."
"And she told you to do it," Fitz is surprised by this revelation.
"No, she told me to be sure of my choices because my virginity was something I could never get back."
"And she was right," Fitz says with a heightened voice.
"It's just easier to talk to another woman about this. I couldn't go to my dad and say I think I am ready to have sex. What do I need to know? You would have killed Hunter before I got the words out," Victoria reminds him.
Fitz laughs, "Damn right!"
"Liv told me to be sure of who Hunter was and how I felt," Victoria further explains.
"She was right," Fitz agrees.
"I didn't jump in without thinking about everything. But we shouldn't have gotten carried away in your house. That was wrong," Victoria admits.
"It's just you were always about school and your studies. When did you become interested in boys?"
"That hasn't changed," Victoria says. "Dad, I love school. I can't wait to do all the things I have been dreaming about. I just want Hunter there with me."
"Do you love him?" Fitz asks. He almost wants her to say she doesn't but he wants her to say she does so that her choices can sit better with him.
"Yes, I do. I am pretty sure I do. It just felt right the first time," Victoria answers. "And the first time was great and he was sweet and he treated me the way you said a man should treat a woman he cares about."
"I don't want details of my daughter having sex," Fitz says.
"I just want you to understand that my head is above water. I'm not losing sight of me and my dreams because I fell for a boy. I need you to trust me."
Fitz shakes his head. He knows she's right. He knows she's always been responsible. He just has trouble watching his first baby girl grow up. "I trust you sweetheart. I just want to protect you. I don't want you to get hurt."
"He won't hurt me. He hasn't hurt me," Victoria assures him.
"If he hurts you, I will beat his ass all over Los Angeles. I need him to know that. Your grandfather will beat his ass too," Fitz says.
Victoria can't help but laugh at the truth. "Do you forgive me? I hate that you've been angry with me."
"I forgive you honey. I was just more disappointed than I was angry. Then the reality hit me that you aren't a little girl anymore. It was just hard to digest all at once," Fitz explains.
"I'll always be your little girl daddy. No matter what," Victoria says as she gets up, goes to her dad and hugs him.
She sits down next to Fitz. "Can we talk about something very important I think?"
"We sure can. You know you can talk to me about anything," Fitz says. Fitz stops for second, "You can talk to me about anything but sex."
"Dad," she rolls her eyes.
"Go ahead, what's on your mind?"
"I think you and I need to have a conversation about sex and protection," Victoria says.
"You want to lecture me on sex," Fitz says shocked.
"Dad, you and Olivia have 2 sets of twins. Soon you are going to be too old," she jokes.
"Wow, making fun of your old man," Fitz laughs.
"I mean I love them but maybe you and Liv should talk about protection."
"We were very shocked by the news of your brothers. We aren't planning on having any more children. And you remember young lady, we are grown and married."
Victoria laughs, "I got you. I just wanted to make you laugh."
"That was mean," Fitz says.
"I am just so happy that Liv came into our lives. You picked well dad," she says.
"I am happy she came into our lives too. She's made my life so much better," he smiles. "I am glad that you have such a good relationship with her. I am glad that you value her advice and you are so comfortable with her."
"Listen, are you sure you want to take your brothers and sisters out tonight?" Fitz says.
"Yes and Hunter is coming to help. We are going to take them to Billy Beez and let them get out some of that energy."
"You are a great big sister," Fitz says.
"I'm gonna try," she says as they finish up lunch and get back home.
Olivia decided to take Bibi out for the afternoon, so she could get some fresh air. It's been the same routine of home and therapy. Bibi doesn't like to go out much because she hates being in the hair but Olivia gave her no choice today.
"Liv, I'm going to look silly not being able to hold up one of my hands. People are going to stare."
"No one is going to stare and if they do, they'll hear it from me," Liv says. "Plus this is your favorite place and you love their Nicoise Salad."
"I haven't had their Nicoise Salad in ages. That does sound good," Bibi admits.
They are sitting and talking and having lunch. The stroke didn't affect her writing hand, so Bibi is able to feed herself despite the complications.
"Liv," The voice says. She knew exactly who it was. She turns to see Stephen standing there.
"Stephen," she says.
"I thought that was you," he says.
"Mrs. Grant," he says, acknowledging Bibi. She didn't answer him back.
"I promise, I just so happen to be here. I didn't know you'd be here."
"Stephen, it's okay. We live in the same city. We are bound to see each other at some point."
"It's good to see you. You seem well," Stephen says.
"I am doing very well," she answers.
"Well, I will let you two get back to lunch. I'll be going," he says. He's fidgeting, which is something Stephen never did. Liv nods as he starts walking away. He gets a few feet away, he turns back around, "I never got a chance to thank you."
"You don't need to thank me Stephen," Liv says.
"I do. You fought for me not to be disbarred. I only got a suspension. That was because of you. I don't know why you did it but I am grateful."
"I did it for me. I had a lot of time to think about our relationship and everything that happened. I always knew how you felt and kept you close, knowing you were in love with me and I shouldn't have done that to you. You couldn't' let go of me because I didn't let go of you and I should have."
"But I hurt you," Stephen admits.
"And once upon a time, you helped me," Liv says.
"I never should have done what I did and I'll forever be ashamed of myself and my behavior. I hurt you and that kills me inside but still you believed I deserved a second chance."
"We all deserve a second chance to get it right," Liv says.
"Well, I am going to get it right. At least try. I am moving to Seattle. I have a lawyer friend there and I'm going to start over there and rebuild my life and consciousness."
Liv smiles, "That's great. I wish you the best of luck."
"I've always just wanted you to be happy and I am glad Fitz makes you happy."
For the first time in a long time, she sees that friend from college that she hadn't seen in his face in a long time. "Thank you."
Stephen starts to walk away, Bibi clears her throat, "Stepen," she says.
He turns and looks at Bibi. "When you get a second chance at anything, you don't throw it away. You make the most of it. Don't make her regret giving you that chance." Liv is surprised by her words.
"I won't. I won't," Stephen says as he disappears.
"That was wonderful what you said," Liv says.
"Well second chances are hard to come by. We all get it one way or another. Now, I have to kick this stroke's ass."
Liv burst into laughter, prompting everyone to look toward them, "There she is," Liv says as they laugh and talk and finish their lunch.
It's later on that evening. Victoria is getting ready to take the kids out. Liv is getting them bundled in their jackets. Fitz can see the apprehension in Liv's face as she gets them ready. He decides to lighten the mood.
"Victoria, are you sure you and Hunter can handle this?"
"Yes dad we are going to be fine. Liv gave me all the snacks for the boys. Ellie and Christina love hot dogs cut up with french. We are going to be fine," she answers.
"Mr. Grant, I promise that I am going to take care of everyone. You can trust me Mr. Grant," Hunter adds.
"Forgive me Hunter but I trust no one with my children, that includes you," Fitz says as he glances over at Victoria. Hunter got the double meaning.
"Just stay quiet," Victoria laughs.
"I want my children brought back here in one pieces, preferably 5 whole pieces,"
"Victoria, if you have any trouble, call us. Ellie has been having one of her ear aches so she might start getting fussy. If she does, just.."
"I'll bring them home Liv. They are going to be okay. We won't be gone that long," Victoria says.
"Do you need any money?" Fitz asks.
"I can handle it Mr. Grant," Hunter says.
Victoria motions to Fitz, "Dad can I talk to you for a minute?"
Fitz agrees and they walk over to his office. "What's up?"
"Dad, he's trying to find a way to apologize and impress you. Would you please just give him a chance. Give us a chance. I never get a chance to hang with the babies like I want to. I wanted to do this. Would you please just trust us?" Victoria asks.
Fitz smiles. His little girl is truly growing up. "Come here," Fitz says as he takes her in his arms. "I trust you. You and your brothers and sisters are my precious cargo. I just worry. You can't blame Liv and us for worrying."
"Everything will be fine," Victoria says.
Fitz kisses the side of her head. "Okay, have a lot of fun. Take a lot of pictures. You know Olivia is going to want to see it."
"And you will want to see Dad too. You are just as bad," Victoria laughs.
"Guilty as charged," Fitz throws up his hands as they go back into the room. The kids are ready to go.
"We go in the car daddy," Christina says.
Fitz reaches down, picking her up, "Yes. You are going in the car with your big sister. You're gonna be a good girl."
"I'll be a good girl daddy," Christina says.
"Are you going to be a good girl too?" Liv says to Ellie.
"No," Ellie says, which makes them all laugh.
Liv hugs her close, "Please be a good girl."
Ellie grabs her mom's face, "I love you mommy."
"Mommy loves you too. Have fun with your sister," Liv says as they walk out to the car. Fitz let them take one of the trucks because it was already equipped with car seats for the kids. The boys are making sounds and talking their language. Liv goes over to them, "You be good little men for your sister."
"Mama," Teddy says.
"Mama," Tommy repeats.
"Have fun babies," Liv says kissing them.
"Be good," Fitz says as he kisses the top of their heads. Liv is just lingering in the door. Fitz knows he's going to have to pull her away. "We have to let them go," he says chuckling as he starts pulling her away by the waist.
"Drive carefully in my vehicle Hunter," Fitz says.
"I will sir," Hunter says shakily as Fitz closes the door.
"You think I put enough clothes on them," Liv says worriedly as she watches them drive away.
"Yes Mommy. You put enough clothes on them. Let's go inside," Fitz answers.
"You think I packed enough snacks," Liv says as she is still focused on the road. Fitz doesn't answer. He picks her up, totally surprising her, bringing her inside. "Fitz, what are you doing?"
"I am about to go and relax with my beautiful wife, that's what," he says as they go inside.
Victoria and Hunter are sitting with the kids. They just took them in the play balls. They are now having their snacks and eating.
"Thanks so much for agreeing to come with me and doing this. It means a lot," she says to Hunter.
"I feel really bad for what I did," Hunter starts.
"What we did," Victoria says. She looks over at the kids. She has to admit, they've gotten a lot of stares. "It's not every day you can get your boyfriend to take his girlfriend and her brothers and sisters out on a date."
"I really like you and they are all cute."
"They sure are," Victoria laughs.
"Cute….," Christina says, which makes them all laugh.
Liv and Fitz are relaxing in their bedroom, in their jacuzzi tub. Liv is laying in between his legs. Fitz is feeding her strawberries.
"Are you better now Mama?" Fitz says.
"Don't laugh at me. They are my babies," Liv preens.
Fitz is stroking her temple. "I know. I know it was hard for you to do that."
"And I know it was hard for you to watch her with Hunter. I think they are the real deal."
Fitz drops his head to the back of the tub. "I don't want to hear that."
"I don't know many 20 year olds that are willing to take their girlfriend out with her 4 toddler siblings," Liv acknowledges.
"I know. I know. It makes me like the guy and I want to hate him," Fitz admits.
"I know you are still upset about what happened. But he's a nice guy and we need to be nice to him because Victoria likes him."
"We talked today and she apologized again. I told her I wasn't necessarily angry at her. I was just disappointed that she disrespected our house," Fitz explains.
"She's young and in love. We do stupid shit when we are young and in love. Remember, I had sex at my boyfriend's house and was caught by his parents."
"Oh yes, the guy that I am jealous of," Fitz says.
Liv turns around to him. She drapes her arms around his neck. "He was very nice. He still is."
"He took your virginity. He was your first and I hate him for it," Fitz says.
"Is that why you hate Hunter? Because he took your daughters virginity," Liv questions. She places a gentle kiss on his lips.
"She's my first born," Fitz defends.
"She's a smart girl, with a good head on her shoulders. She did something that wasn't smart in this house but she's responsible. You think I would have let her walk out of this house with my babies if she weren't?" Liv traces his jawline, "Young love and hormones makes you do crazy things."
Fitz moves the damp hair that has fallen in her face. He pushes behind her ear, "She told me she came to you about sex and birth control."
Liv lets out a breath. "I didn't tell you because she came to me in confidence and I wanted to build a good relationship with her."
"I am glad she trusts you like she does."
"I told her ultimately she had to talk to her mother. That was one fight that I didn't want with Mellie."
"We talked about something else," Fitz announces.
"Yeah...what was that?" Liv asks.
"She wanted to know if we are going to practice safe sex and not have any more children," Fitz chuckles.
Liv hits his chest, "She did not."
"She did," Fitz laughs, biting his bottom lip.
"And what did you tell her," Liv asks as she lifts her ass. She moves over his center.
"What are you doing?"
"What does it look like?" Liv says as she reaches between them, guiding his dick inside her. "I'm about to ride my husband."
He starts to fill her as she lowers herself down on him more, "Damn, he says. "So you want another baby."
"Oh, definitely not. I'll have you neutered if need be. I told you when I had the boys that I wanted your balls put in a box," Liv says as she starts to move up and down on him. She moves slowly. The feel of the warm water and slickness of him inside of her is heaven.
"You love my balls," Fitz reminds her.
"No I don't," she chuckles. He squeezes her ass, pushing her in closer to his chest. His cock is buried deep inside her. "Ahhhhh….Shit...baby!"
"Oh I think you do," he says as he licks her neck. She is digging into his back holding on. "Right there..," he whispers.
The rocking motion is almost like a slow drag. Liv is hissing from the pleasure, "Mmmm, so good."
"You keep riding me like this, we will have another baby," Fitz tells her.
She stops. "Pull it out," she says sternly.
"Not a chance Lotus. We are going to ride this out," Fitz tells her as he squeezes her tight harder.
"If you insist," she says as she begins to ride him harder.
"Fuck," Fitz moans.
Liv giggles into his neck. "I love you!"
Fitz throws his head back on the tub. The fast rhythm is too good as the water splashes on to the floor with each thrust. "Fuck...I love you," Fitz says.
Big Gerry and Bibi are watching an old western in bed. Bibi is deep in thought. Big Gerry is just staring at her. She tries to act as if she doesn't feel it.
"Why are you staring at me Fitzgerald Grant?"
"I can't stare at my wife x2," he says with a chuckle.
"No you can't," she says.
"How are you feeling? Was today a good day?"
She moves herself as much as she can in the bed. He moves to help her. "I got it. I have to start pushing myself." He nods in agreement. "Olivia told me what you told her in the hospital when I was in the coma."
"She did, did she?"
"She did. She wanted me to know I had so much to fight for by not letting this stroke bring me down. I have my grandchildren, her and Fitz, and my pig headed husband who needs me."
Big Gerry turns to her, "She's right. I am glad we got a second chance to get it right."
"I don't want to live in fear of the unknown that comes with strokes and tumors and everything else. I want to live my life to the fullest. Some would say I have but I have just begun. I thought we could never find our way back to each other but we did. Somehow, we did."
"You were so helpless in that bed. The tubes everywhere. I didn't want that to be the lasting image of you. Not the woman who cursed me out like no other. I wanted the image of the woman who married me for the second time, how beautiful she was. I wanted the vision of that girl who went skinny dipping with me in the lake."
"I got grounded for that, you know," Bibi reminds him.
"I know. My dad ground me," he laughs. "But I didn't care. It was worth it. I tricked you into getting naked."
"What makes you think you tricked me? Maybe I wanted to see you naked Mr. Grant,"
Big Gerry starts to laugh. She's never admitted this to him. He loves knowing this. "I knew you wanted me."
She hits his chest, "I'm going to beat this thing."
"Yes you are. And I'm going to be here every step of the way. I'm going to be the husband you deserve," he promises. He pulls her closer, gently. "I'm proud of our son too."
"I am too," Bibi smiles.
"Olivia is the best thing that ever happened to him. And he's the best thing that ever happened to her," Big Gerry starts
"Yes. Most definitely. Second chances give you something better than what you had before."
"I won't argue with that," Big Gerry says as engulfs Bibi in his arms and holds her close. They fall asleep in this position knowing that finally everything is right.
Liv and Fitz finally made it to their bed. They are wrapped in each other's arms. They've just been listening to each other's heart beat. It's been a while since they were able to just chill with no kids home.
Liv can tell he is deep in thought, "Do you want more kids?" She asks.
Fitz kisses her forehead, "What do you mean?"
"I know I've been adamant about no more kids," Liv starts.
"I should ask you the same thing after the way you jumped me in jacuzzi," He winks.
She playfully punches his stomach. "But do you want more?"
"I would love to have a whole football team but no. I don't want more kids. We have 5 kids and that's enough for me. You gave me 4 of the greatest gifts. My life couldn't get any better," he smiles.
"Are you just trying to get in my pajamas?" She winks.
"I find every opportunity I can to get in your pajamas but this would have been a lot easier if you would have just gotten in bed naked," Fitz says.
"When Victoria gets home with the kids we have to help put them to bed. We don't need to be naked Mr. Grant."
"Good point…," He looks under the covers. "I have an idea," he says as he moves on top of her. He starts sliding down her body, kissing her through her clothes.
"I need to talk to you about something that happened today," Liv says as she starts to squirm a little.
"I know what happened today. You took care of my mother and I love you for it," he says as he starts to slowly pull her panties down, muffling under the sheets.
"Fitz...seriously," she giggles.
"And you trust our daughter with our babies and I love you for it," Fitz continues as he licks circles around her thigh, moving to her center.
"No, Fitz, we really need to," she starts panting as he blows her center and then starts licking the lining of her lips. She licks her lips heavily and throws her head back on the pillow. "Damn….."
Fitz moans as his head starts to bob under the covers. He starts to suck her lips as if he's french kissing them. She spreads her legs as wide as she can. It feels so good. "Mmmm," he moans. He pulls one leg over his shoulder so he can dive his tongue deeper into her core.
"Yes," she screeches. "Yes….Mmm... yes….baby.."
He starts to slurp her juices as it pours on his face and he loves it. He squeezes her ass cheeks, pulling her in closer. He lifts his head, "You taste so good." He spreads her lips with his fingers, as he takes her clit in his mouth, sucking hungrily.
Liv is gripping the sheets. Her knuckles are turning white, "I'm...Ohhhh...Ohhhh, so close," she says biting her lips.
Just as Fitz is about to make her explode, the phone rings. He lifts his head quickly, "Don't answer it."
Liv is throwing her head back in pleasure, she glances over to see it's Victoria on Fitz's phone. "Fitz stop….Ohh...stop. It's Victoria." Fitz stops quickly, he quickly appears from under the cover as Liv answers. "Victoria, it's Liv. What's wrong?" Liv is catching her chest. She puts Victoria on speaker.
"Can dad come and get us?" She asks.
"What's wrong?" Fitz asks.
"We had an accident. Can you come get us?" Victoria says.
She sounds shaky and scared. "I'm on my way," Fitz says. "Where are you?"
Liv is already up, put on some clothes. She is shaking. She is imagining the worst case scenarios in her head but clearly they are okay because Victoria would have said otherwise. She is searching around the room trying to find a shirt. Fitz quickly goes over to her, "Everything is going to be okay."
Liv says, "I hope so."
