Chapter 72 "Exodus, Part 1"

Hiding in the Shredder office, just another day with the Ninja Turtles. Master Splinter had received a vision of a great war on the homeworld of the utroms being attacked by Shredder. Master Splinter and decided that we needed to end Shredder, which is the reason why Tabs and I were hiding in the shadows. Wearing our fight gear and have headphones and microphone attached.
"Casey, April. Raph and Mikey are in." I heard Leo said.
"Team 4 in place," Tabs said.
"Good stay there," Leo said. "Shredder security is still hot. Team 3 what's your status?"
"We're in place," I heard Don said. "Sewer access is also still active team 2 what's your status?"
"Don asked the professor if a security camera wire will serve his purposes?" I heard April asked.
"Yes that will do nicely," I heard Professor Honeycutt said. "Established give me a minute to hack the system. Gentlemen and ladies. I am in, security systems are down and they don't even know it."
We watch as Shredder and his daughter Karai came in. Tabs pulled out her recorder and click it on.
"Guys we're under the Shredder's mansion and you know that really big thing that the shredder is up to I think I just found it." I heard Don. "A starship."
"How are we doing guys?" Leo asked.
"This is team," Mikey started but stop. "Uh, Team are?"
"We're in and the place is crawling with foot creeps," Raph said. "Understood," Leo said. "Team two to commence with operation lockdown. Team 4 starts recording."
"Dr. Chaplin reports that all starship systems are nominal congratulations tonight will be your last night on earth," Karai said.
"After Centuries of being imprisoned on this primitive backwater. I will finally return to the stars. When my utroms enemies return here to imprison me I will be gone and when they least expect it I will be at their throats." Shredder said.
Rolling my eyes at his passion-filled speech.
"And what of me Father?" Karai asked.
Feeling my heart sting pull at her.
"Karai my time here was not a total loss," He said. "I have forged a powerful dynasty with the foot and I have raised a daughter to rule that dynasty until my return you will serve me as you have always served me faithfully and without question now see to our guests this is a celebration, not a wake."
"Yes, Master." She said bowing and walking away.
While Shredder started to walk closer to our hiding place. Holding my breath and gripping Tabs' arm. Getting ready to shadow us out. Alarms and red lights alerted us that the lockdown had happened meaning everyone was locked in place apart from us.
"Planning a little trip," Raph said as Raph and Mikey came into view. Letting go of Tabs' arm.
"A little outer space mayhem perhaps," Mikey added.
"Not if we have anything to say about it," Leo said
Tabs and I appeared from the shadow, weapons at the ready.
"Your evil ends here and now Shredder." Master Splinter said holding a bow and notched arrow at the ready.
"Agreed," Tabs said.
"Time to face justice Shredder," I added.
Splinter lets the arrow fly and Shredder catches it in his hands.
"I shall relish destroying…" Shredder said as Mikey and Raph attacked and took him down on the ground.
As he fell, Leo strike sending him flying which I landed a well time kick, into his table where he hopped right back up with Mikey attacked which Shredder fought off, only to have Raph tackle him to the wall where Master Splinter used arrows to hold Shredder in place. One hitting in right about where the real body was. He cried out before pulling the arrows out. We stood around him weapons at the ready to fight him.
The ground shook under us, as we fought against Shredder, where a bit of his suit came flying off showing the robot body under it.
"Bishop here?" Shredder questioned as one of us landed a great hit causing him to fall to the ground. "That changes everything!"
He shot up and kicked Master Splinter and Leo sending them flying. Tabs and I were next to go flying with a kick to the gut sent me flying into the wall next to Leo, gasping for air. Mikey and Raph fell as well. I watched as Master Splinter almost cut him only to have Shredder holding the blade with his bare hands. The two held those posing before Shredder kicked Master Splinter in the gut, sending him flying back into a chair. He didn't get up and the blade fell from his hand. Slowly pushing myself up as the door were thrown apart with Hun coming roaring in with the elite guards.
"Protect the Master!" Hun roared holding a large weapon.
"Hun control this situation!" Shredder ordered. "I need to get my ship to safety!"
He took off running.
"He making a break for it!" Leo yelled.
We ran after him
"Get him!" Raph yelled.
But the foot clan stop us with swords. Shredder ran towards a bust of himself which open and he jump and disappeared from our view. The ground shook more as Raph work to get the bust to open well the rest of fighting against the foot clan soldiers.
"Left!" I shouted Tabs easily jump over a foot ninja and kick in the back and took him down.
"Come on let's move!" Mikey shouted by the tunnel.
Jumping over a fallen foot ninja and ran to the tunnel. Hoping and when flying down.
"Stop them!" I heard Hun yelled.
Leo had not appeared yet.
"There's no way we're letting you get on that starship Shredder!" I heard Don said.
"The two of you cannot stop me," Shredder said he turned to see our weapons at the ready.
"Together we will stop you." Master Splinter said.
Hun and other foot clans appeared.
"Step away from the Master," Hun ordered. "Now!"
A loud beeping alerted to something bad and an explosion happened to send stuff flying and appeared from the smoke were Bishop's goons guns at the ready.
"You got to be kidding me." I groaned.
"Well, well, well is this cozy." We heard and Bishop appeared. "On my mark destroy them all. Open fire!"
We scrabbled out of the way, narrowly avoiding lasers' blasts. Tabs and I jump out and crashed behind a metal wall, glancing cautiously looking past it, jerking back quickly as a laser blast flew past my face. Giving Tabs a look, seeing out of the corner of my eyes to see Raph and Mikey were lying in wait somewhere else. I knew Don and Leatherhead were together.
Mikey and Raph waved us over, moving fast narrowly not getting shot.
"You good?" Raph asked.
"Yeah," I replied. "Tabs?"
She gave me a thumbs up.
We moved, finding Master Splinter with his sword, getting ready to killed Shredder.
"Master Yoshi was a guardian he protected the utroms he forbids your journey and in his name, I will not allow your passage." Master Splinter said.
He slashed at Shredder, Raph jumped and slashed Shredder in the back. Followed by Mikey slapping Shredder in the face with his nunchucks, which took a bit from his mouth mask. Hun came out of the way and took Mikey and Master Splinter out with his weapon.
"Go Master, get to the ship!" Hun yelled shielding him as Leo tackled Hun.
Taking down a few of Bishop's goons, jump out of the way of a foot clan. I watched as Shredder limped away.
"Shredder!" Leatherhead yelled.
Leatherhead attacked his metal body, I watch in shock and awe before a ninja grabbed me, slamming the back of my head into the ninja tho art which made him drop me.
I watched as Hun threw Leo, and ran towards Shredder and Leatherhead.
"I'm coming Master!" Hun yelled.
He body checked Leatherhead which sent him flying back into a glass jar that shattered and allowed the liquid into the lab. Rushing to Leatherhead. I watched as Hun picked him up seeing Shredder as he looked like a robot. "Sir."
Hun pulled the suit off to see the real Shredder. "You," He looked in shock. "You are an Utrom?"
Leatherhead came running and tackle Hun back both of them when flying, sent both of them flying down to the starship building. We quick fighting as Shredder headed towards his starship.
"Oh no, you don't!" Don yelled running after him he kicked a can. "You're not going anywhere Shredder." It blasted him with liquid. "Some liquid Nitrogen should slow you down."
The rest of us made it to Don.
Master Splinter grabbed Tabs' weapon, using it to hook Shredder's robot body, and dragged it back towards us causing the robots to break apart. That when I saw the jellyfish body of the Utrom.
"He does look like a jellyfish," I said.
Making Tabs fight back a laugh.
We stood over his weapons at the ready to end a great evil. Karai landed ahead of us behind Jellyfish Shredder. She grabbed him and ran towards the starship, which we gave chase.
"Chaplet we are leaving!" Karai called running just ahead of us, the starship door shut causing us to crash into it making us groan in pain. We step back, looking at the metal locked door. Don pulled out his tablet.
"Professor you have to open this door," Don said walking up to the command panel and attach the tablet.
"I'm on it, Donatello." Professor Honeycutt said.
The door open and Don pulled the cord away. The swishing of helicopters made us looked up to see helicopters.
"Way to go, Professor," Don said.
Seeing rockets came flying towards us.
"Incoming!" Mikey yelled.
We jumped back as a rocket came flying down and hit the walkway. Separating Don and Tabs from the rest of us. As the dust cleared, Don and Tabs were holding on tightly to the starship and were slipping, Tabs grabbed onto his shell for dear life.
Rockets were flying down meanwhile the countdown was roaring out. The starship engines were starting to roar to life.
"Ah Guys," Don yelled.
"We have to jump for it!" Leo yelled.
"Come on!" Raph yelled.
Taking a running started we jumped from the walkway, towards Don, Tabs, and the starship.
