As we approached Rachel's cave, we could hear music blasting from the opening.
"I'm guessing she's awake?" Nico said as I peered inside.
What I saw inside was amazing. When I had last been in here, there were still boxes stacked up against the wall. Now the whole wall was uncovered and it was amazing.
"Oh, hey," Rachel said as she smiled over a canvas, "Chiron told me you'd be here."
We watched as she put her paints down and walked over to us. "So, what's your question going to be?" Rachel asked.
"What?" I responded, confused.
"Well, for the oracle to spit out an answer you have to ask it a question, silly."
"Oh, um, that's kind of weird," I said.
"Everyone thinks it's weird the first time they ask me, jeez, even I thought it was weird the first time someone asked me," she laughed.
"Okay, um, where are we supposed to go?" I asked nervously.
Within a second green smoke started spewing out of Rachel's mouth and eyes. Coral was petrified so she buried herself in my cloak.
You will go to the birthplace of the one you seek
you shall find the one who speaks
keep track of where you wonder
or it might leave you out to ponder
With that, the green smoke disappeared and Rachel fell to her knees in exhaustion. I ran to help her up. "You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, like always I'm just a bit tired," she looked up at me and smiled, "See that wasn't that bad now, was it?"
"It was still kind of weird," I muttered. This made her laugh.
"So any clue on where you're going?" Rachel asked.
"I might have an idea," I said as I placed Rachel on her bed. I then stood up and brushed my cloak off.
"So, where do you think?" Nico asked, who now had Coral in his arms.
"It's easy, the first line was you will go to the birthplace of the one you seek, the one we seek is Khione, and she was born in Thrace, the homeland of Boreas," I explained.
"Okay, but where in Thrace?"
"Don't know, but the second line was about someone who speaks so I guess we'll just have to go and find out." Nico gave me a look as if saying, seriously? I just grinned at him.
After giving me a death glare, he walked out of the cave with Coral still in his arms.
"Well," I said turning towards Rachel who still rested on her bed, "I might want to catch up with him, Will doesn't want him doing anything stupid."
"Okay," she laughed, "bye."
I waved as I ran out of the cave, trying to catch up to Nico.
Thanks for reading! Hope you liked it. Sorry it's a few days late, my WiFi hasn't been working very well so I wasn't able to do much, but good news for you, I'm going to try and post chapter today for all the days I missed. Hopefully, I can get most of them out, wish me luck.
