I finally caught up with Nico after he left Rachel cave. He'd somehow got halfway down to the Big House when I caught up.
"So," I asked out of breath, "what do we do next?"
"Well, you said Thrace, so we'll get someone to drive us to the airport and we'll go to Thrace," Nico said as Coral played in his arms. The sight was adorable, the dark son of Hades playing with a two-year-old child of Hera.
We got back to the Big House and were greeted by an upset Percy.
"You good?" Nico asked, which was not like him.
"No," Percy said, not even looking at us.
"He's just mad because I said I'm going with you," Annabeth said coming down the stairs of the porch.
"Wait, you're what?" I asked, shocked.
"I'm coming with you," Annabeth said with a straight face.
"What why?" I asked.
"Well for starters, I need to talk to you Trish, and it's best if three people go on a quest," I opened my mouth to say something, "And a two-year-old doesn't count." I closed it.
She walked over to Percy. "Hey, I'll be fine," she said, "I'll IM you every day and I'll constantly tell you where we are so that if anything happens you can come kick some butt for us, sounds good?"
He looked at her with big eyes. "Fine, but I'm pretty sure you can kick some butt yourself," he smiled.
"Thank you." She leaned up and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Now," Annabeth said, turning towards us, "we better get going. You guys know where we're going?"
"Uh, yeah Thrace," I responded. She nodded her head and turned to Chiron.
"Can Argus drive us to the airport please?"
"Yes. I'll go get him," He said, he then turned around in his wheelchair and rolled into the Big House. Soon after Argus came out with the camps van keys in his hand.
Annabeth leads the way to the vans and Argus behind us. We all filed into the one van and Argus drives off.
