Mt. Hikami
Takes place shortly after Alucard leave the mountain. Death is currently mentoring Ren and Rui on using their psychic powers
"Now lift those rocks over there with telekinesis ! If you can't do that there's no chance of you standing up against Dracula's Army !" Death completely act the part of the stern teacher.
"Yes sir !" Ren used telekinesis to lift the rock, but he had some difficulty, the rock only lifted a around 5 centimeters from the ground until it fell again, Ren is completely spent.
"Fine, training is over for today, we'll start again tomorrow !" Death decided to end the training for the day as Ren and Rui went back home, he floats away and thought to himself. ("Their progress aren't bad, but it still to early for them to faced Dracula's Army and rescue those two women, they may have dealt with ghosts before, but now they're dealing with something that can physically harm them, hmm...maybe I shouldn't involve them in this after all, I wonder if I should try getting Yuri and Hisoka back myself.")
"I wonder if.." Death then begin using telepathy to communicate with his loyal subordinates Slogra and Gaibon.
Dracula's Castle
In the Underworld lies Dracula's Castle, with the Lord of Darkness still not resurrected the castle could never appeared in mortal realm. And inside is where Dracula's Army gathered, and with some additions.
"Hey ! Laura ! What is this !? We don't need anymore witches ! I am more than enough for this army !" Yelled Salome pointing at Gruntilda.
"Watch your mouth you little twerp, before this more powerful witch kick you to the curb !" Retorted Gruntilda.
"Oh yeah ! I'd like to see you try grandma !" Salome and Gruntilda about to duel, but...
"Aaargh ! Enough already ! You're not making things any better !" Yelled Skeleton Knight who breaks up the fight. "Salome, can you create a machine like Gruntilda can !?"
"Err...no, but that's not my field, you can't expect people to be good at everything !" Replied Salome.
"But Gruntilda here is good with magic and machines, so she can do something you can't, well most of us can't, but that's beside the point." Retorted Laura.
"Ok ok fine !" Salome huffed and crossed her arm while Gruntilda can only laugh.
"By the way, you and Master Wizard find a new recruit yourself didn't you ?" Asked Laura.
"Yes, a necromancer, you should see the way he animated those statues to fight !" Exclaimed Salome excitedly.
"Yes, a great work indeed, thanks to that accursed agreement we lost most of the controls of those revenants." Olrox went in to join the conversation. "But with this new recruit, we can make sure the Underworld Army doesn't monopolize the revenants."
"And the agreement is for Death to relinquish most of the control over the revenants, and now we only have 10% of the control now." Carmilla chimed in. "When Palutena used the golden Seed against us that spell the end for us."
"Why do they have to be so suspicious !? It's not like we're trying to backstab them !...okay so maybe we are, but that's still for a very long time !" Salome admitting their goal.
"I guess now many of us are here ?" Said Slogra looking around.
"Everyone except Death himself, where is he ? Did he got sent to someplace weird ?" Complained Carmilla.
"I hope he's alright, how did we even end up scattered is totally unknown." As fate would have it Gaibon felt Death telepathy.
"It's Lord Death, and he wants me and Slogra to see him ! He's at Mt. Hikami !" Exclaimed Gaibon.
"Well what are we waiting for let's go !" Slogra opened a portal and they go to where Death is.
"Why is Death doesn't just come back here ? Is he really in trouble ? Laura go with them and bring Death back here, knowing Slogra and Gaibon, they won't stop gushing about Death and ended up making us wait even longer, and if they really are in trouble assist them however you can." Ordered Carmilla.
"Yes mistress." Laura bowed and opens a portal to follow Slogra and Gaibon.
Mt. Hikami
Slogra and Gaibon arrived and spoke with their master, of course they don't expect what they're about to hear.
Laura then arrived shortly, but she is a bit further apart from them, after hearing Death shocking words, she quickly proceed to hide at the forest nearby.
"You're quitting !" Shouted both Slogra and Gaibon.
"I am, I shouldn't have agreed to this in the first place, Soma have to become the Dark Lord willingly or it will be pointless." Replied Death.
"But who's going to defeat Galeem !?" Exclaimed Slogra.
"Master Hand champions will do it, individually they have bested many powerful threats from their own worlds, together they may be the only ones who can stand a chance against Galeem." Explained Death. "So now I told you, I know it's very selfish of me, I brought us back together and now I'm stopping halfway, I won't blame you if you decide to leave me." Death turned around to ashamed to face his two subordinates.
Slogra and Gaibon remain silent for a few seconds, and then Slogra begin to spoke. "Whatever it is your decision we will follow you, we know you only have our best interest at heart." Said Slogra as he kneel down in front of Death.
"As do I." Gaibon also follow suit.
Slogra then rise and stand. "Be that as it may, the others will be furious should they know of this, what will you do then Lord Death ?"
"This is my fault to begin with, so I'm planning to end it, that said this isn't just Dracula's army we're dealing with, I may have no choice but to cooperate with Palutena on this, and that means we may have to ally with the Belmonts." Answered Death.
"Alright, we don't like this either, but if that's how things supposed to be then so be it." Slogra and Gaibon made it clear they're going to obey Death to the very end.
Meanwhile Laura heard everything. ("Death is quitting ? I must tell mistress Carmilla about this.") Laura form a portal and went back to the castle.
"Alright, since we're pretty much abandoning our mission, I think you should know that the first phase of the plan is going to happen soon, they decided to use the stellar energy on the observatory to break the first seal, since the plan to steal the other half ended in failure." Explained Slogra.
"Yeah, that revenant Caeda left their ship, then again Thanatos didn't clearly order her to remain with them until she succeed." Said Gaibon.
"Really ? Explain yourself." Ordered Death.
Slogra and Gaibon explained to Death about where they were sent after the Dragon Palace incident.
Flashback
Peppy's Office
Slogra and Gaibon appeared at Peppy's office, they should be invisible to him, but since he's an ally of Neo Subspace Army by brainwashing, he was given the ability to see spiritual beings. And right now he's seen talking to Thanatos, through a crystal ball like device.
"So you want me to do it right away ?" Asked Peppy.
"Yes Mr. O'Hare, it seems my failure of a subordinate have failed, the Observatory is just a bonus anyway, it doesn't matter whether we have it or not, extract the energy, send it by the orbital gate and Gharnef will do the rest got it ?"
"Yes sir, tomorrow we shall execute our plan." Peppy said obediently.
"Good..." Thanatos then noticed Slogra and Gaibon. "Hmm oh you're here ? How long have you been there ?"
"We heard the entire conversation Lord Thanatos, we're commencing the first phase of the plan already ?" Asked Gaibon.
"Yes, and by the way what happened to you, we lost contact with all of you ?" Questioned Thanatos.
"Palutena used the Golden Seed to eliminate us, but it seems someone has undo the wish, as for why we're here we didn't know." Answered Slogra.
"Well it doesn't matter, tell your boss the first phase is about to begin, I'm out." Thanatos then cut off communication.
"We shall take our leave too." Slogra and Gaibon teleported away from Peppy's Office back to the castle.
Back to the present
"And that's how we know." Said Slogra. "And we told everyone about it."
"Then I must informed Palutena at once, you two stay here until further notice." Death then teleported away to inform Palutena of the current events.
S.S Light - Conference Room
"And there you have it, tomorrow they're going to break the first seal." Death told them the entire story. "So what will you do ? This is an important part of Neo Subspace Army goal, if you try to oppose them, they won't show any mercy, they will go all out to make sure it's a success."
"We're still going to a-try anyway, even if they succeed, we vowed to defeat Galeem in the end !" Exclaimed Mario as he rose from his seat.
"I already tell them what would happen should Galeem is freed." Palutena turned her attention to Death.
"And they resolved to defeat that fallen angel ? I suppose I should've expect nothing less, these are the people that bested so many powerful threats in their own world, and now that they're all brought together I doubt there's anything who can stand up against these alliance." Replied Death. "Very well, I can only hope for your success, as for me there's something else I need to do." Death then teleported away.
"So Death is an ally now ?" Asked Pit.
"Pretty much, let's just say I got through to him, his loyalty to Dracula is what makes him realize the error of his ways." Answered Palutena.
"Then we don't have to worry of Dracula's Army bothering us anymore ?" Asked Peach.
"I doubt it, Death may abandon his quest, but the others like Carmilla may not approve, so we may still going to oppose them later." Answered Palutena.
"So what now ? Are we really going to Corneria to stop them ?" Asked Fox.
"Like Death said, this is all depends on you, what do you want to do ? Will you interfere with the energy transfer ? Or will you let Neo Subspace Army break the entire seal and just focusing on defeating Galeem ?" Asked Palutena. "Be warned that only the upper echelons like Hades, Death, and the Underworld Army knows about Galeem, the others are just puppets not knowing the bigger picture, and just because you decided not to interfere that's not a guarantee they will leave you alone, if all of you are defeated, there's no one else to stop Galeem."
"Well that's true, our enemies are back, and I can imagine Andross wanted to have a revenge on me." Said Fox.
"And then there is that plan to split our army, it looks like they really are not going to leave us alone either way." Marth point out what Nana said.
"Then it's settled, we're interfering with their phase one plan, there may be something new we can learn should we chose to get involved." Declared Robin.
"Okay, but everyone I asked of you not to kill anyone from Corneria military, they're just brainwashed." Pleaded Fox.
"This is no time for sentimental McCloud ! If they got in our way we have to eliminate them !" Wolf berating Fox.
Fox then retorted back. "Really O'Donnell ? What if Panther and Leon are among do we have to fight ? Are you going to kill them ?"
Hearing this fact Wolf is stunned as he didn't know what to answer, despite being a ruthless mercenary he did value his companions.
"Worse still even if you do able to kill them they could be used as a new addition to the Warriors of Fallen Stars, will you really going to let them be used as Thanatos puppets ?" Fox continued his remark.
"Alright alright ! I hate to admit it, but you have a point McCloud, but the fact still stand that they will keep shooting at us, we can't just keep dodging their shots forever !" Wolf pointed out this flaw.
("Maybe you don't have too.") Said Mewtwo as the others turned their attention to the psychic pokemon.
"What do you mean by that ?" Asked Falco.
("I have a plan, I'm going to take part in this mission, but my duty is to distract the army by creating illusions of you.") Answered Mewtwo.
"I see, if we're just an illusion then none of us have to hurt anyone ! That's genius !" Exclaimed Fox.
("Yes, and while I distract them you can focus on the Orbital Gate to stop the transfer, or you can enter it and find something about Gharnef.") Continued Mewtwo.
"That is a good option, if we know something about Gharnef, we may can also find out about more about the missing children, but won't that mean they need to successfully extract the stellar energy ?" Asked Fox.
("Well that is an option if we failed to stop them from extracting the energy in the first place, after all Rosalina the only one who can control the Observatory.") Continued Mewtwo.
"Yes the Observatory must be heavily guarded, we need to get rid of the guards somehow." Nodded Rosalina.
"We could a-use the star launcher, we could send them back to Corneria with that." Said Mario.
"Will they be okay ? I mean they're not indestructible like you Mario." Commented Fox.
"Don't worry, star launchers will slow their descent once they near solid ground." Assured Rosalina.
"Then we need to devise a plan of action, if possible anyone who can breathe in space participate in the mission." Added Fox.
"Then all of us from a-Mushroom World will do it !" Exclaimed Mario. "Me, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Rosalina, DK, Diddy, Bowser, Wario, and Jr."
"Hey don't just decide that for yourself !" Growled Bowser. "I can't just sent Jr. there without a giant robot !"
Peach however decided to use her feminine wiles to get Bowser to agree. "Come on Bowser please, I'm sure this mission will be difficult without you."
Obviously Bowser fell for it. "Hahahah of course it would be difficult without me ! Don't you worry princess with me around success is guaranteed !"
("Wow she played him like a fiddle.") Thought the others.
"And why do I a-have to agree to this too !?" Yelled Wario.
"Because the mess caused by Tatanga is a-your responsibility ! I have to journey all a-over Sarasaland so you can steal my castle remember !" Mario clearly still salty about that incident.
Wario can only sweatdrop and relent.
"Wait ! You're working with Tatanga ! Do you realize the trouble you cost me and my kingdom !" Daisy slammed the table glaring at Wario.
Panicking Wario tried to weasel his way. "Okay okay I'm sorry, look it's all in the past, and I'm a changed man, can we just let bygones be bygones, please." Begged Wario.
"Then you're going to do a lot of atoning if you want to avoid my wrath." Daisy threatened Wario.
"Guess I'll be going too." Bayonetta raised her hand. "I did beat up Jubileus in space after all, besides I can take them to Purgatorio to increase our chances.
"That could work, but they also can threatened to kill the soldiers if we don't show ourselves." Stated Robin.
"And risk losing their underlings, it's space it's not a place where you can just send anyone, but fine I suppose a countermeasure is needed if that happened." Replied Bayonetta.
"I'm going too." This time is Samus who raised her hand. "Space is my field of expertise after all."
"I'm coming with you." U-Mos also wanting to partcipate. "They can't hurt me in my ball of light form."
"Pittoo and I also like to join !" Exclaimed Pit.
"I told you not to call me that !" Dark Pit complained.
"I'm going too !" Volunteered Kirby.
"So am I." Meta Knight also volunteered.
"First I need it explain, the Orbital Gate is a satellite located at Corneria's orbit, it's functions as a transport hub to make travels faster and easier, by creating a wormhole." Explained Fox
"Okay then it's decided, it's time to formulate a plan." With the participants decided it's time to come up with a plan, but a certain wolf objected.
"So why are you coming up with a strategy ?" Questioned Wolf.
"Robin is an excellent strategist ! if it weren't for him we would've lost the war back in our world !" Retorted Chrom.
"No offense Chrom, but I'm with Wolf on this one, I mean we're not in an era where we're fighting using swords and spears, magic book, now that's never going to be outdated, I wonder if I can learn magic too." Falco stroking his chin.
"I understand I come from a different world, which is why during the tournament I kept asking everyone about fighting strategy." Robin remembered he did asked around during the fourth tournament about other worlds combat style.
"Oh yeah, you did ask us about combat tactics back there." Remembered Fox.
"Okay, and so here's what I came up with, I'm going with Mewtwo suggestion that we used illusions to trick the military and to avoid killing them, it will be the illusions of Fox, Falco, Wolf, and Samus. Meanwhile the Mushroom world team will enter the Observatory and reclaim it, once they reach the beacon we will use our our energy container and use it to fill the beacon, once the energy is full Rosalina will transform the Observatory and bring it back here to the World of Trophy. Should they fail and the energy container is sent to the Orbital Gate the real Samus, Fox, Falco, and Wolf will enter the Orbital Gate to discover the destination. But we also have another option, we could destroy the Orbital Gate portal generator, and since this is their most important operation there's got to be dimensional pathways should the Orbital Gate is unusable. We're going to pretend to let our guard down, and follow the whoever had the energy container." Explained Robin
"And if all else fails at the very least all of you who dispatched on this mission must came back alive." Everyone nodded at Robin.
Meeting time is over and everyone then leave the conference room, Palutena however stopped R.O.B. before he leave. "R.O.B. I know a way to save the professors, I know the location of their souls."
R.O.B. stopped and turned around. "Really !? We can save them !?"
"If Death spoke the truth then yes, their souls is currently imprisoned in Koholint Island, that's a place where one of Link's many incarnations visited." Explained Palutena.
"The offer is tempting, but we have an important mission to do first, I dragged everyone into this, I can't be selfish right now." Answered R.O.B.
"I understand, once they're back we'll decide who goes to that island." Palutena's holographic projection then vanished as R.O.B. left the room.
With that done everyone is preparing for the big mission tomorrow, and then the next morning...
S.S Light - Deck
The heroes who are participating in the mission, along with Robin standing on the ship deck. "Alright everyone remember their roles ? Mewtwo will provide communication using telepathy to easily direct our forces, I don't know what they're going to throw at us, but we will put up a fight." Everyone cheer loudly.
("Fox, I wish I could help, but I left my ship at Corneria.") Krystal spoke using telepathy as Fox is already inside the Arwing.
("Don't worry, we'll find it so you can come with us on later missions.") Replied Fox.
("I will activate a psychic link between us so we can communicate telepathically.") Mewtwo using it's powers to enable psychic communications between the heroes.
Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Yoshi stand on Fox Arwing, Wario, DK, Diddy, Daisy, and Jr. stand on Falco's Arwing, Bowser stand on Samus Gunship, luckily his weight isn't a problem for her ship, Kirby is using his warp star, Meta Knight and Rosalina and Polaris can just fly, Bayonetta can just summon wings to fly, Mewtwo also can fly, Pit and Dark Pit blessed with power of flight by Palutena.
"Right then, Mario did you have the container with you ?" Asked Robin.
Stuffwell come out from Mario's overall and confirmed the object is inside. He then shrunk and went inside again.
("If Falcon is alive he'll be here with us.") Samus thought to herself.
"Something wrong ?" Asked U-Mos.
"Huh ? Oh nothing, what's done is done, I only do what I have to do, focus in the mission." Remarked Samus.
"Okay now Operation Comet begin !" As soon as Robin announced the mission Rosalina opened a portal and they all went in. Once everyone went in the portal closed.
"Good luck my friends, may Naga bless you all."
Corneria's Orbit
The wormhole opened and the heroes arrived at Corneria's orbit, Mewtwo envelop it's allies in illusion, making them invisible, as they get close they saw the Observatory is heavily guarded by Cornerian soldiers, but as Mewtwo's power protect them even from radars, they're able to get close undetected.
Mewtwo however seemed to sense a presence. ("Is someone here ? Or is it just my imagination ?") The genetic pokemon thought to itself.
Naturally Rosalina also felt that presence, but she also not saying anything thinking it may be her imagination.
As the pilots gets closer to the Observatory Rosalina teleported the Mushroom Kingdom team to the Observatory, while the others leave and head to the Orbital Gate.
Bayonetta create a magic circle and the others went in, allowing them to enter Purgatorio, Pit and Dark Pit landed on the satellite as the power of flight is deactivated for the time being, Kirby, Meta Knight, and Bayonetta also fly close to the Orbital Gate.
Comet Observatory - Terrace
Appearing on the garden the heroes looked at the number of scientists and soldiers prowling around the Observatory.
("There's a lot more than I thought here.") Commented Peach.
("Yeah, we can't rush in blindly, it doesn't a-seem they started the operation yet.") Said Mario.
("Fox said someone named Andrew Oikonny is in charge of this place right ? Should we get rid of him ?") Asked Wario.
("Fox did a-say he's not someone to worry about because he's only all talk, no act, even Wolf agreed with a-Fox on that ! but based on what I hear, don't you a-think this mission is too dangerous to be left in the hands of someone with huge ego ?") Commented Mario while looking at Bowser.
("What are you looking at me for ! Yes I have ego, but I also have skills !") Yelled Bowser.
("To be fair Bowser did have successes in his attempts.") Pointed out Peach.
Mario take a walk and looked at the beacon. ("It's a-use to be so bright and now it only has half of it's power left.") Referring to the green color.
("My home is taken over like this, but now it's the time to get it back.") Declared Rosalina.
("Of a-course, we'll be with a-you all the way.") Mario showed his support towards Rosalina, but then he saw something at the rings under the beacon. ("Hey there's four black boxes strapped on the rings under the beacon, we're a-those always a-there ?")
("Black boxes ? I don't think..") Before Rosalina can finished her sentence Jr. Freaked out by what he see behind them.
("Everyone look !") A huge black battleship approach the Observatory, it's a ship so large it looks like it can carry smaller ships inside.
Corneria Orbit
("Hey that ship ! To think I'll see it again after all this time.") Fox remembered about the events of Lylat Wars.
("The Saruzin, I agree, not something I thought I'll see again either.") Agreed Falco.
("I've heard of that, it's the flagship used by Andross Army during the Lylat Wars right ?") Asked Samus.
("Yes, we managed to destroy it at Sector Y, but if this thing is back, then that means...could Andross be inside ?") Questioned Fox.
("Want to go there McCloud ? Don't blame me if you blow our cover.") Taunted Wolf.
("No, not yet, there's a lot of things we don't know, anyway I should inform this to Mario.") Fox then begin conversing with Mario, of course since everyone is connected everyone else can hear it too.
Comet Observatory
("Yes, we heard all your conversation thanks to Mewtwo a-psychic links, so this ship is called Saruzin right ?")
("Andross flagship, ugh this reminds me when those soldiers mistook me for Andross minions this guy really made us monkeys look bad.") Diddy still upset at his wrongful imprisonment.
("Calm down Diddy, once he gets here you'll have your payback.") DK tried to calm Diddy down.
Soon after the ship stopped at the landing spot, and not long after two anthropomorphic monkeys walked towards the Observatory, one is tall white furred monkey with a red face, the other is a same species of monkey except quite elderly, the younger one is wearing a space suit.
("Fox look, do you recognize them ?") Asked Rosalina using her psychic power to project their images in her companions mind.
Corneria Orbit
("Yes no doubt about it, it's Andross and his nephew Andrew !") Confirmed Fox.
("Andrew he's going to tell me what happened to Panther and Leon or he will pay !") Wolf is itching to get his revenge.
Comet Observatory
"Ooh uncle, I can't believe we're on a big mission together like this, with your intellect and my superior piloting skills, nothing can stand gets in the way of Andross Empire revival." Andrew fanboying his uncle as usual.
Andross replied sarcastically. "Yes, I cannot do this without my competent nephew." Andross then turned around and sighed. ("Why is he related to me ?")
Walking behind them is a large ape shaped mecha carrying a blaster gun.
("Those must a be Shogun Warriors Fox told us about earlier.") Stated Daisy.
(Well we've taken giant robots down before why this one should be a-different ?") Pointed out Mario.
Andrew and Andross walked towards the beacon. "Look Andrew, a power from the stars, such great potential this could have, alas we must give them to Thanatos."
"Why don't we just steal them and use it for our own benefits ?" Asked Andrew.
"As much as I wanted to, being in Neo Subspace Army has given us resources we didn't have, and a chance to conquer not just Lylat, but the universe ? Why would I miss such opportunity ?" Explained Andross. "It's far too early to betray them, we need to amass more power if we want to crush any opposition. Those incompetent Cornerian soldiers, letting those Lumas get away, we could've harvest their stellar energy for our goals !"
Hearing this makes Rosalina boiling with anger as she doesn't want her children to be experimented on.
"But uncle you have me ! And that's..." Andross kicked Andrew in the knee before he can speak further.
"You fool ! I don't get to be the most feared man on the galaxy by being an idiot ! I used patience and diligence, not bragging about everything, you still have a long ways to go if you want to be the heir of my empire !" Andross continued berating his nephew.
("Okay, now's the time to strike !") Feeling now's the right time Rosalina rallied everyone to commence the operation, however before she can begin she stopped and looked terrified. ("What ? What is this feeling I'm sensing ? Is this the presence I sensed earlier ?")
Corneria Orbit
Not just Rosalina, Mewtwo also felt what she felt. ("This presence !")
A voice then spoke inside everyone's head. ("I was wondering when you will make your move, I didn't feel I have to do anything yet since you haven't done anything.")
("Everyone we've been compromised !") A blast of psychic energy then hit Mewtwo, dispelling the illusions and cutting off the psychic links, Mario and co. now visible again.
Comet Observatory - Terrace
"Intruder ! How did they get here !?" Shouted one of the soldiers.
"Does it matter how you imbecile !? Stop them !" Commanded Andross.
The soldiers aiming their weapon, however Rosalina used her telekinesis to pull the weapons away from the soldiers and toss them away to space.
Mario and the others then move to defeat the soldiers.
She then float toward the two anthropomorphic monkeys and speak in an angry tone. "This is my home, and you don't belong here !" As Rosalina about to attack them, Andross prepare to attack her while Andrew is covering his face, but then she fell down as if something or someone sealed her power.
"Rosalina !" Shouted Polari as he tried to help her stand.
Rosalina looked to her left to see two children a boy and a girl, the boy resemble Ness except he's a bit taller and wearing a red neckerchief, while the girl have blonde hair in short twintail style, she has blue eyes, and wearing pink dress. "Ness ? No, who are you ?"
"Heh, just in time Ninten, Ana, so they decide to act now huh ? Andrew stop covering your face and do your job already !" Andross yelled at his nephew.
"Yes uncle !" Andrew run towards the Saruzin while Mario and the others still occupied with the soldiers.
"He's getting away !" Exclaimed Bowser as he just burn a soldier using his fire breath. He gave a chase to Andrew only to be blasted by a plasma beam. A boy is seen standing on the Saruzin, a boy with red shirt, gray hair, and wearing glasses.
"Heh, you kids have great timing, I see you're done too Loid." Stated Andross.
"Yes, sir Andross, we can begin the extraction now." Replied Loid, with a forced tone. "Teddy !"
A muscular man then showed up holding the container, he's a muscular young man with black hair, wearing a red sleeveless shirt and yellow pants. He made a mad dash toward Andross, With Mario done dealing with the soldiers he attempt to stop the man. But Ninten used PSI Teleport to help Teddy bypass Mario and reached Andross immediately.
"Excellent work, if only my nephew can show some competence for once, now distract them for me !" Andross commanded the four kids, and also the Shogun Warriors now joining to fight.
Corneria Orbit
With Mewtwo attacked, the illusions are gone and the psychic links are cut off, exposing Mario and the others as they didn't enter Purgatorio, everyone also unable to communicate telepathically anymore. Corneria military now heightening their security even further, since they at least realized Fox may be going to be here.
("Yes, I can sense, despite not being in this plane your presence is still as clear as day to me.") The voice then materialized his form, a tall gray man alien like being. ("I am Giygas, and I'm here on the behalf of Neo Subspace Army.")
Mewtwo then got up. ("So you're the presence I sensed earlier, Giygas, so you're the one Ness defeated.")
("I am, but I've returned, I'm truly sorry, I have no animosity towards you, but I have no choice but to do this." Giygas fire another psychic blast, but Mewtwo teleport away and ready to confront the psychic alien.
"I'm going to back Mewtwo, the rest of you stay here !" Bayonetta then create Malphas wings on her back and fly toward Giygas.
Samus, Fox, Falco, and Wolf also helped, Giygas noticed this and using his immense power he pulled them all back to the physical plane.
"What the ? We're back in reality ?" Bayonetta is shocked by what happened.
"Ah so you're the Umbra Witch, you're power is similar to her." Said Giygas.
"Her ?" Bayonetta then feel incoming attacks from left and right, she prepare her guns and blocked it, and much to her surprise Rosa and Balder, her own parents are the attacker. "Mummy, daddy ?"
"Forgive us Cereza, but we can't disobey." Rosa said dejectedly as she then break free as she fire bullets at her daughter, and Balder assist her by shooting fireballs at Bayonetta.
"We're tasked to make sure this mission a success." Balder also replied dejectedly.
"Saved from Inferno only to be forced to point our weapons at our own daughter, are their cruelty knows no bounds ?"
"I hate this as much as you do, but what else can we do, Cereza, please forgive us." Balder and Rosa then assume a fighting stance.
"I promise, this time I will save you." Bayonetta murmured to herself.
"Darn it ! This is getting chaotic !" Said Fox after seeing the ensuing battle.
"Fox look out ! The army is on their way to get us !" Falco pointed at the incoming number of ships headed their way.
"I don't plan on dying now you two, I'm doing what I have to do !" Wolf made it clear he's ready to fight.
"Wait Wolf don't !" Fox tried to stop him, but as Wolf kept on going anyway.
But then three ships intercept the Star Wolf leader, and Wolf is receiving transmission.
"Hey hey former leader, remember me ?" Shouted one of them, he's an anthropomorphic pig.
"Pigma ! If it's you I have no problem gunning you down for good." Wolf said to Pigma, considering what kind of a scumbag Pigma is, the hatred is justified.
"Oookay, I'll just leave this to them then, Panther, Leon get rid of Wolf !" Commanded Pigma as he left.
"Yes." Panther and Leon obeyed Pigma and begin attacking their leader.
"They're really going all out for this." Stated Fox seeing the number of enemies sent to stop them.
"You don't have time to get distracted." A shot then almost hit Fox as he realized Slippy was the one doing it.
"Leave some for me Slippy, for the glory of Neo Subspace Army !" Bill Grey joined the fray as well.
"No good, Slippy and Bill is there too." Fox gritted his teeth.
"We can take them Fox, we need to buy time for Rosalina." And then another shot almost hit Falco.
"Talking in the middle of battle, how courageous of you Falco, or maybe arrogant and stupid." This time the shot came from an anthropomorphic pink cat.
"Katt, they got you too ?" Falco is shocked seeing his longtime friend also against them.
"She's got to be brainwashed, I know Mewtwo can remove their brainwashing, but right now Mewtwo is occupied with that alien." Fox pointed at Mewtwo and Giygas who are fighting.
"I'll back him up, you two deal with them !" Samus decided to help Mewtwo. "U-Mos you go and help Fox and Falco." The Luminoth nodded and he transform into a ball of light and leave Samus's ship to help Fox and Falco.
As Samus gets close to Mewtwo a ship move in high speed passed her by, which forcing Samus to make sudden stop. And then a transmission incoming. "Samus do you hear me ?"
Samus is shocked by this familiar sounding voice. "This voice !? Falcon is that you ?"
"Yes, alas I'm one of their puppets now, and I was tasked to make sure this mission a success, I'm very sorry." Transmission then cut off and Cpt. Falcon begin the offensive.
Orbital Gate
Pit and the others still standing outside the Orbital Gate, wanting to help their teammates. "What should we do ? It's an entire war over there."
"Darn it ! We can't kill them, but they want to kill us ! Isn't there any other way !" Dark Pit punch the satellite.
"Hey intruders ! Get off this satellite ! I am Beltino Toad the head scientist in this satellite." Beltino then activated the weapons system, lasers are fired to forcing Pit, Dark Pit, Kirby, and Meta Knight to dodge the attacks.
"Pit ! Dark Pit ! Hop on !" Pit and Dark Pit jumped to Kirby's warp star as they avoid the barrage of attacks.
"Good riddance, I'm glad I decided to install weapons system in this place." Said Beltino.
Comet Observatory
As Teddy hand over the container to Andross Bowser charging in to attack the young man, seeing this Ninten used Teleport to scattered everyone away from Andross.
"Good work Ninten, if only you're my relative instead of Andrew." Andross then begin working on the extraction progress.
Saruzin - Deck
The Saruzin, one of Andross's large ships used to carry smaller ships to be deployed whenever needed, it has a very long design, in the previous usage in the Lylat Wars the Saruzin doesn't have any weapons installed, and now Andross clearly learned his lesson.
After Ninten scattered the heroes to buy Andross time, he scattered Luigi, Daisy, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong to the farthest end of Saruzin deck, along with the yellow Shogun Warrior.
At the other half of the deck lies Bowser, Wario, and Diddy Kong dealing with the purple Shogun Warrior. However at the center of the deck a force field is generated in order to prevent birth sides from helping each other, courtesy of Loid.
"These people are about to fight giant robots, there's no hope for them." Said Loid apathetically, obviously he doesn't know the kind of people he's meeting for the first time.
"Daisy I'm a-so sorry, we just see each other a-again, and now this happen to you." Luigi apologising to Daisy.
"Luigi I don't mind really, it's my choice to get involved in the first place, besides if I have to be stuck in a dangerous situations, I'm glad it's with you." Daisy tells Luigi how she like to be with him, Luigi blushed and smiled sheepishly.
"Look I don't want to act all third wheely but we have other problems on our end." DK pointed at the giant robot.
Yellow Shogun begin shooting it's blaster to the heroes, Daisy stepped in and create a crystal shield, she successfully defend her teammates. This feat shocks Loid.
Luigi blasting lightning from his hand and struck the robot, Yellow Shogun is electrocuted and smokes begin from it. The Yellow Shogun activate it's jet pack to form a distance from the heroes, it then begin shooting from a distance, the heroes pretty much dodging the incoming shots.
"It's too far, is there anyway to deal with that thing !?" Exclaimed DK.
Seeing this Loid use a remote control and use it to activate the ship's weapon system, cannons, and turrets are now activated and begin attacking the heroes.
"Oh a-no now the ship's weapons are active !" Shouted Luigi.
"We're just gonna have to destroy it along with dodging the attacks." Added DK.
"I'll provide backup." Daisy create a large blooming flower, and throw it at DK. "Used that as a shield !"
DK take it and use the flower to shield himself from the shots coming at him, as DK gets closer he smashed the turrets near him in one hit.
Meanwhile the other three still fighting aginst the weapons and Yellow Shogun, Luigi blast the weapons with lightning strikes, Daisy shoots crystal projectiles at the weapons, piercing them with crystals as she deliver the final blow by punching it, she has tremendous strength.
Yoshi perform a ground pound, as his power is much stronger than Mario, the shockwave create from Yoshi's ground pound destroys the cannons and turrets nearby.
"Wait I got an idea." Luigi grabbed one of the broken turrets and throw it at Yoshi. "Yoshi eat this !"
Yoshi eat the broken turrets and produced an egg.
"Daisy kick that egg !" Commanded Luigi.
Knowing what he meant Daisy nodded as she perform her Crystallized Daisy technique, she turned black and blue and kick the egg with full force emitting blue diamonds as it launched at the Yellow Shogun at full speed. The impact is so hard the Yellow Shogun is seriously damaged.
With it's sensors and radars damaged the Yellow Shogun must move closer in order to get a clear shot of the heroes, but as it gets closer Yoshi extend his tongue and swing it at DK, DK readying for this moment, he spin his arm and punch the Yellow Shogun at full force, destroying the robot into many pieces.
Meanwhile same time, but on the other half of the deck.
"Guess we can't just let this robot be." Commented Diddy.
"Leave that thing to me, I'll turn it into scrap heap before long !" Exclaimed Bowser.
"It's flying around to keep it's a-distance, we need to get a-close first." Wario assessing the situation.
"Leave that to me." Diddy activating his jet barrel.
He begin to fly and shooting peanuts at the robot, Purple Shogun retaliate by firing it's blaster, the two projectile meets and ended up in mutual destruction. But then from behind the smoke two peanuts appeared and flying towards the Purple Shogun, hitting the giant robot, inflicting significant damage towards it. How a peanut can dent a metal is anyone's guess.
Diddy then fly at high speed and use Chimpy Charge at the robot, headbutting it with full force, the impact is so severe the robot fall down to the ground.
Bowser grabbed the robot's right leg, he lift it, spin it around and throw it at Wario, the greedy fatso then jumped at punch the robot upward hard, the robot struggle to fight back, but Diddy used telekinesis to pull the blaster away from it, dropping it to the deck, and now the Purple Shogun is completely disarmed.
Wario turned into his Artist Form and draw steel wires that completely bind the Purple Shogun, restraining it's arms, legs, and even neck.
Wario then returned to his base form and grab the gun Diddy pulled away earlier, and then he Bowser, and Diddy begin attacking at the same time. Wario firing the Shogun's blaster, Bowser with his fire breath, and Diddy with his barrage of peanuts, the Purple Shogun is finally destroyed from the combined attacks. Loid is left agape at seeing what the heroes could do.
With that settled the heroes then destroys the force field generator, getting rid of the barrier. Loid then jumped to the fray to confront the heroes.
"Incredible, all of you managed to take down those giant robots." Praised Loid.
"Of course we are ! So you will be our next opposition !?" Questioned Bowser.
"Bowser he's just a kid !" Daisy reprimand the Koopa King and then she turned her attention back to Loid. "But you did saw what we can do, just leave and no one have to get hurt."
Despite Daisy asking him to retreat Loid answer otherwise. "I wish I could, but my orders are very clear, that I must stop anyone from interfering, I cannot disobey my order." Loid pulled out his plasma gun as he ready to fight, he also pull out a remote control and press a button, and soon after a hatch opened and numerous Shogun Troopers coming out from it.
Unlike Shogun Warriors, the troopers are your standard cannon fodder, it's smaller, it doesn't have legs, it carry a blaster on it's right, and shield on its left.
"So a-awful, they even give children an order not to retreat." Luigi sickened by the cruelty he witnessed.
"Now now Luigi, just think that kid as a Koopaling, maybe it's easier that way." Replied Daisy nervously.
The heroes are now surrounded, but it didn't matter for them as they proceed to destroy the robots.
Yoshi extend it's tongue to grab the shield, and swallow it, Yoshi lay an egg and throw it at the trooper, destroying it.
DK jumped high and bash the troopers in one hit, he proceed to do it again at the nearby robot.
Bowser grab two of them on both his hands and collide them against each other.
Daisy create large crystal spikes and launched them at the troopers, impaling them and destroying them.
Luigi blast them with lightning, destroying the robots.
Wario jumped and punch the troopers, downing it, then Wario grab the robot and throw it at the other robot, the collision ended up destroying both of the robots.
Diddy firing a barrage of peanuts to the troopers, destroying it.
Loid is stunned by what he see, but it doesn't deter him, as he charge in and fire a plasma beam to Luigi, Luigi saw this and he jumped high, but because they're in space Luigi control his jump so that he doesn't go too high, he then fire an electricity at the plasma gun, short circuiting it.
Loid toss the weapon, and pull out bombs he throw them at the heroes, forcing them to scramble, Loid is now aiming at Bowser seeing since he's bigger he must be the bigger threat, as Loid throw his bomb at him Bowser went inside his shell and spin, bouncing the bomb back to Loid and exploded in his face.
Diddy then fire his gun at Loid, hitting the kid and pushed him against the wall.
For the last touch Daisy used her flower powers to ensnare the kid with flower vines, restraining his movement. "There you can't move for the time being." Daisy then turned around to speak with the others, "now let's go stop Andross." They all then leave the Saruzin and head towards the Observatory.
Comet Observatory - Library
Peach and Jr. Got sent here with Teddy. The library consists of obviously books with its shelves covering the entire wall, there's also a chair and fireplace inside.
Teddy just like the others tasked with stopping the heroes, but since stopping doesn't exactly equals fighting, when he see Peach he decided to make his move on her.
Teddy walked up to Peach and placed his hand against the bookshelf. "So I hear you a princess, surely someone like you need someone strong, handsome and all around awesome." Teddy pull his glasses down and winked at Peach.
The princess can only roll her eyes after hearing such cheesy remark.
"Come on I'm serious, i beat up robots and aliens before, furthermore I don't want to harm a pretty face such as yourself." Continued Teddy.
"Hey stop flirting with Mama Peach !" Jr. Charge in at Teddy, but the gang leader placed his hand on his face as Jr. struggle to get close.
Jr. give up and decided to burn him instead, he used his fire breath to burn Teddy's pants.
As he continue flirting a smoke can be seen from his behind. "Hey do you smell smoke ?"
"Yes, from you." Replied Peach in deadpan manner.
Teddy looked behind and he jumped in pain, he's running around in circles to put out the fire, Jr. Pull out the magic paintbrush and covered the floor with paint, Teddy slipped and fell down to the floor, good thing is the fire is gone.
"I'm sorry, but I already have someone special, you're just gonna have to look somewhere else." Peach and Jr. Leave the library, Jr. Then used the paintbrush to draw a ball and chain and use it to restrain Teddy.
However despite Teddy is just a regular human, somehow he possesses strength beyond human as he easily break the chains, he proceed to chase after the princess and the Koopa, Princess Peach retaliate by firing a heart projectile at the gang leader while Jr. Create a black goop on the floor, Swoopin Stu's emerge from the goop and begin attacking Teddy, giving the two royalties time to escape.
Comet Observatory - Bedroom
This is Rosalina's bedroom, the wall and ceiling is purple, there's a large canopy bed in the middle and red carpet underneath the bed. She is there with Ana and Polari.
Ana then used PK Freeze to cover the entryway with ice, blocking an escape route.
"I'm sorry I have to do this." Ana said apologetically.
Rosalina walked closely and talk to her. "Ana was it ? Could you be another one of the Warriors of Fallen Stars ?"
"I am, I don't know why they're dragging me into this, I was happy with Ninten in afterlife, and yet..." Ana fall down on her knee, but despite being supposedly enemies Rosalina tried to comfort her instead.
"Is this okay ? She's the enemy right ?" Asked a concerned Polari.
"She's under their control that's all, but you know what Polari, I have my doubts about this before, but..." Before Rosalina speak further Polari quickly hush her mouth, and signaling Rosalina, despite Ana not fighting them, they still can't tell her anything about reviving the dead. Rosalina understand and nodded.
"Ana, I can't use my powers, was it you who did it ?" Asked Rosalina.
"Yes, it's called PSI Block, it's purpose was to seal PSI techniques, but I was forced to modify it so that it also works on non PSI powers as well." Explained Ana. "My mission was to stop anyone from interfering with this mission, but if you decide not to do anything there's no need for me to fight you either."
"I see, but I still can't let Andross do whatever he wants in my home." Rosalina pull out a bell in her pocket and harnessing it's power transforming her into Cat Rosalina. "I'm sorry too, but just like you I must do what I must do, you may have caught me off guard earlier, but I still have experience fighting PSI user."
Rosalina then jumped to her bed and then to the left wall and then pouncing on Ana with very swift movement, the surprised girl unable to react after seeing what she just saw now got struck down by Rosalina. But this doesn't take her down just yet, Ana then used PK Thunder to attack Rosalina, but she able to dodge the attack, while Polari fly and ram into Ana, knocking her onto a wall.
Rosalina pounce at the girl again, but she teleported away to the bed. Rosalina and Polari looked at her, and coming after her, but Ana used PSI Block to Polari, sealing his powers now as he fell down and Ana teleported out from the room.
"She sealed my power, I can't float !" Exclaimed Polari.
"Hang in there Polari, I'll get us out of here !" Rosalina begin scratching the chunks of ice to break it. "I should've brought a Fire Flower with me." Grumbled Rosalina.
Comet Observatory - Engine Room
The engine room located at the top of the Observatory, this is where Mario ended up, Ninten is with him.
"Ninten is your a-name huh ? you look a lot like a kid I know." Said Mario. "You don't seem like a-bad kid, is it because you have a-no choice in the matter ?"
"I don't, I can only obey orders from my superiors that's all, so if you're trying to stop me, I have to stop you too." Ninten then use PK Freeze to seal the exit just like what Ana did. "Ana taught me this technique, but I wish I don't have to use it this way."
"That technique ? PSI huh ? Then today's not your lucky a-day, I'm no stranger to PSI." Mario readied a fighting stance.
Ninten pull out a baseball bat from his bag, and begin casting Offense up, increasing his physical strength. He lunged at Mario and swing his bat at him, but Mario is able to catch the bat with his bare hand and throw away Ninten to the side as the PSI boy hit the wall.
Mario grabbed Ninten by the collar as Ninten cast Defdown to Mario in order to weaken his body, Ninten then kicked Mario on the arm as the pain forcing him to drop Ninten. Mario chased after him and ready to punch him, but then Ninten cast Powershield, as Mario's punch about to connect the attack bounced back to him, and with Mario defense is down he suffers double the pain.
Mario generate a fireball in his right hand and throw it at Ninten, but the fireball also bounce back, however Mario expecting this and dodge the incoming fireball, seeing he can't win using conventional means, Mario come up with an idea.
Ninten charged at Mario with his bat, but Mario jumped and perform a ground pound, creating shockwave that ruined Ninten balance as he fell down. Mario pull out a Super Leaf and harnessing it's power, transforming him into Tanooki Mario.
Ninten got up again as he ready to fight Mario, he charged at the plumber, but Mario turned into a statue, Ninten tried to best him up, however Mario is invulnerable in that state.
Ninten then stop with the hitting. ("Hmm... I think I stall enough time.") Without warning Ninten then teleported out from the engine room, Mario revert to his human form, he's confused by Ninten's action, but with him gone Mario decided to use this chance to escape, he noticed a black box on the wall of the room, the same black box found on the rings under the beacon, but he ignored that as he create a fireball and burned the ice blocking the exit, the ice melted and he went outside.
Comet Observatory - Terrace
The Mushroom World team has managed to defeat their respective opponents, and now all of them regroup back to the terrace to confront Andross, unfortunately they're too late, Andross has succeeded extracting the entire energy, and soon after the entire Observatory lose its power.
"No, my home." Rosalina looked in anguish.
"Are a-we too late ?" Questioned Mario.
"Yes you're too late ! while you're busy with those kids, I successfully did my job uninterrupted !" Exclaimed Andross.
"Andross do you even know why you're doing this !?" Yelled DK.
"Yes I did Thanatos told us about it." Answered Andross much to everyone surprise.
"He a-did ?" Luigi wanting a confirmation.
"Yes he did, if I do as he said I can have my revenge at the heavenly gods for condemning me to hell !" Andross revealed his answer.
"What ! That's not what he's trying to do ! What you're doing is..." Andross then cut DK off.
"Enough ! I refuse to hear another word ! Corneria doesn't appreciate my genius, and now the heavenly gods condemning me to eternal suffering ! They will all pay for wronging me ! And Thanatos has given me a second chance to succeed and this time the world, no the universe will see how great I truly am !" Andross make his grandiose speech.
"There's no reasoning with him, we have to stop the transfer !" Exclaimed Peach looking at her teammates.
"Too late, my nephew must be halfway to the Orbital Gate right about now, he better not screw this up, especially with the back up I provide him."
"You're still here it's not all a-lost." Mario charge in and about to punch Andross, but the mad scientist teleported away back to the Saruzin. Andross give his command and the ship is taking off.
"I have to say you're all impressive to be able to take down my Shogun Warriors, but victory will be ours." The ship then depart from the Observatory.
Saruzin - Deck
Loid approach the mad scientist. "So, should we do it now ?"
"Not yet my boy, not until that good for nothing nephew of mine succeed at delivering the energy container.
Corneria Orbit
The battle rages on, with the Star Fox and Star Wolf team have their allies brainwashed the odds are against them. Fox, Falco, even Wolf refuse to kill their allies, they can only avoid their incoming attacks, but who knows how long they can keep this up. U-MOS help by creating holographic projections to trick them, but even then won't last long.
"I can't keep this up any longer ! Katt and Bill keep attacking me !" Falco keep on dodging every shot coming his way.
"You think I have it easy Lombardi ! Panther and Leon keep on shooting me, and Pigma also join in shooting me from who knows where, Pigma show yourself you coward !" Wolf is in the same predicament, but he has three people gunning after him.
"Slippy it's me your friend Fox !" Fox tried to get through to him, but it's not working.
"We serve the Neo Subspace Army, join us Fox, or suffer the consequences."
Pigma is chasing after Wolf, but as he proceed to shoot his former leader turned out he's just a hologram created by U-Mos.
"Another fake ! That's it you moth thing I'm going after you first !" Pigma had enough of U-Mos trickery chases after the Luminoth.
Meanwhile Samus and Cpt. Falcon flying around with Falcon keep shooting at her. "Samus you know you can just shoot me, I'm already dead."
"We will find a way to bring you back, that's why I don't want to kill you again !"
"Bring me back ? How ? Resurrect me ? Is that what you really want ?" Falcon give Samus a question difficult to answer.
"...it's better than to be used like this, or do you have no problem turning against your once allies ?" Retorted Samus. "Even if I shot you down right here and now, what difference does it make, you're dead, the vacuum of space can't harm you, not to mention with your ride home you can just Falcon Punch my ship."
"..." Falcon unable to retort as he knows should he fall here, it won't make too much difference.
Mewtwo is currently fighting Giygas, despite Giygas being a powerful PSI user Mewtwo able to hold it's own, there's a reason why Mewtwo is created to be the ultimate lifeform.
Giygas an alien powerful beyond human understanding possesses great power, he has a technique called incomprehensible attack, which able to bypass any kind of protection based powers, even pokemon moves such as Barrier, Reflect, and Light Screen.
Giygas continue his assult with PK Fire which Mewtwo extinguished by using Blizzard, the alien create PSI Shield to protect himself from the severe cold, Mewtwo generate multiple Aura Spheres, it flew around Giygas, firing the Aura Spheres one by one.
Every hits hurt Giygas, but that still isn't enough to take him down, the alien is now using PK Thunder to attack Mewtwo, but Mewtwo is using Light Screen to protect itself.
Giygas teleport close to Mewtwo and swat it with his hand, Mewtwo recovered and teleported close to Giygas, the genetic Pokemon generate an Aura Sphere on the left, and Shadow Ball on the right, Mewtwo fired all this energy attacks which Giygas dodge by teleporting.
After Mewtwo run out of Aura Spheres and Shadow Balls Giygas retaliates by attacking the Pokemon with PSI Rockin, blasting Mewtwo a fair distance before it recovered again, Mewtwo then used recover to heal itself. And proceed to use Future Sight. ("I predict an attack will come to you.")
("Is that a bluff ? Because it take more than that to deter me.") Giygas continue to attack Mewtwo using the vast array of PSI at his disposal, but Mewtwo kept on dodging them.
As Giygas readied another attack, a concentration of psychic energy attack him from nowhere, causing Giygas immense pain as the alien decided to stop fighting for now.
("I'm impressed, not many can stand against me head on like this.") Giygas praising Mewtwo's capabilities.
("I was created to be the ultimate lifeform, at first I detest the humans who created me, they made me as a weapon, a tool to be used as they see fit, but after escaping and experiencing many things, I decided to put my existence to a good use not bound by anyone.") Replied the genetic pokemon.
("I see, I won't pry into your past, but I can tell those experience made you the person you are now, just like with Ness and Ninten.") Giygas saw the resemblance between Mewtwo and the PSI kids he used to deal with.

("I could tell you, it's thanks to the Apple of Enlightenment, a machine that told a prophecy, I use that to see who will you sent on this mission to stop us, granted the machine doesn't give us complete details, but it's enough to formulate a plan for us.") Answered Giygas.
("Apple of Enlightenment ? A machine that told a prophecy, that is an advantage.") Mewtwo sound intrigued.
("The machine can't be used all the time, there's a time when the machine is unusable, not to mention it doesn't have out clear details, so you don't have to worry we'll always be one step ahead.") Explained Giygas.
("Is it alright for you to tell me all this ? Aren't you bound by Thanatos power ?") Mewtwo noticed Giygas seemed different from the others Warriors of Fallen Stars.
("I am, but some of us are given more freedom, we still cannot disobey our superiors, but our degree of freedom is better than most of the rest, Andross and myself are one of those who have more freedom.") Explained Giygas.
As Mewtwo wanted to ask more a certain monkey screaming through the transceiver. "Hey ! Andrew here ! I got the container ! Open the gate already !"
("He got the container ? They must've failed, I have to stop him !") Mewtwo fly to stop Andrew, but Giygas interfere.
("I'm sorry, like I said, despite the freedom I have I still have to make sure the mission is a success." ) Mewtwo attempt to teleport, but Giygas using his powers screw around with Mewtwo's teleportation, sending it to unintended locations, away from Andrew.
("I can't get near ! Giygas is messing with my power !?")
"Don't worry I'll get him !" As Fox about to chase Andrew another shot almost hit him, Fox then receive an unexpected transmission.
"S'up son, sorry things have to be like this."
"This is ? Dad !? Is this you !?" Shouted an unbelieving Fox.
"Yep, the one and only James McCloud, and now a disgraced zombie."
Fox is distraught at seeing his father now being used by the enemy. His concentration wavered as James fire a shot at him.
Seeing this U-Mos used his powers to trick James by creating a hologram, thanks to this James missed the shot, looks like Pigma still hasn't got him yet.
With heroes completely distracted Andrew is able to get close to the Orbital Gate without much resistance.
Bayonetta still fighting with her parents as she has difficulty fighting both her parents at once. Rosa and Balder combined ranged and melee attacks is too much for Bayonetta to handle alone. Bayonetta counter every strikes her parents made, but she still stuck on the defensive, but with Andrew reached his destination the fighting may be about to be over soon.
Orbital Gate
"Alright ! Now activate the gate !" By Beltino's command the Orbital Gate is now activated. The drones is dispatched, the drones fire a green beam, as the beams collide the gate lens is formed, it's size is expanding, creating a green colored gate.
Pit, Dark Pit, Kirby, and Meta Knight are the only ones capable of stopping it as they're not facing against anyone just dodging the gate weapons system, however as they're about to get close the Angels of Paradise intercepting them. An Applaud with an army of Affinities are getting in the way.
Balder stop fighting Bayonetta and decided to stall the four heroes, he used the feathers to summon the angels.
The Affinities are equipped with bows and arrows as they proceed to shoot the four of them. Meta Knight repel the incoming arrows with his sword, thanks to Kirby skilled usage of the Warp Star he's able to dodge the incoming shots, Pit and Dark Pit the two angels retaliates with their own bows and arrows, some hits, some missed.
Meta Knight now confront Applaud, the angel used a chain sword to strike the star warrior, but Meta Knight managed to party it with his sword, while the applaud is staggered, Meta Knight proceed to stab the angel, killing it.
They won against the angels, but it's too late, Andrew already entered the gate, and since everyone is occupied a chase is impossible. But then something tragic happened.
Saruzin - Deck
"Looks like my nephew succeed, very well then, then it's time to do it." Andross pull out what it looks like a detonator. He then pressed the button.
The black box seen throughout the Observatory turns out to be bombs that Andross planted, the bombs then exploded.
Comet Observatory
*BOOOOM* the black box located at the beacon exploded, and soon followed by the ones in the library, kitchen, bedroom and other places.
"NOOOO ! MY HOME !" Rosalina can only watch in anguish as her home is destroyed, fire engulfing the Observatory, Rosalina fell down in despair.
"Rosalina ! We must leave this place !" Peach and Mario dragged her away as she's crying in despair.
Meanwhile at the library Ninten rescues Teddy by using 4th-D slip, before that Ninten rescues the Corneria soldiers from the explosions.
The explosion is witnessed by the others, as well, this has prompt Mewtwo to abort the mission and focus on returning to the base. ("Abort mission, we must leave now !") The heroes witnessing the explosion agreed to abort the mission to save their friends, but of course the enemies had to make things harder for them.
"They're getting away ! After them !" Shouted Pigma which prompts the others to chase the heroes.
Mewtwo used it's psychic powers to insulate the pilots in illusions, Giygas attempts to intervene, but Kirby distract the alien with his warp star by flying around Giygas face with Pit and Dark Pit continue firing their arrows, and Meta Knight attacking the alien with his sword, ruining his concentration.
Bayonetta summon Carnages to distract Rosa as she made her escape and assists the angels and Popstar native.
Thanks to be made invisible Samus, Fox, Falco, and Wolf able to rescue the Mushroom World team without issue. With the rescue is successful Mario used his golden plate to escape, the rest of his allies then do the same as they leave Corneria.
Final Destination - Outside
Somewhere in the World of Trophy exist a place called the Final Destination, this is where Master Hand and Crazy Hand the gods of World of Trophy resides, this is also a place where mortals and spirits are able to interact with one another, but since the hands capture the place is now currently used as a base for the upper echelons of Neo Subspace Army called the Subspace Fortress.
Gharnef receiving the container now present it to Thanatos. "Here you are Lord Thanatos, with this i will have my revenge against the heavenly gods."
"Correct you are Gharnef, the vengeance you sought will soon come to fruition." Thanatos take the container and teleported away.
Subspace Fortress
The Subspace Fortress, created by the gods who join the Neo Subspace Army used this place as their base of operation, the interior is wide and there are many rooms, but most important is Tabuu's chamber which leads to Subspace itself, Thanatos present the container to Tabuu, and he in turn perform the ritual Galeem taught him to free him.
"Thank you Thanatos, I'll take over from here."
Once Tabuu perform the ritual the container transform into lights and flew upwards.
Galeem's Domain
The lights then make contact with the first layer of the seal, as it makes contact, the seal is broken, and with that the first seal is now broken.
S.S Light
The heroes returned from their mission with a dejected look on their face, it's clear to the others that the mission is a failure.
And done, it took so long because of both real life and the difficulty on how to execute this chapter.
Lloyd is the Jeff from Earthbound Beginnings, I decided to write Loid instead of Lloyd because well, there's going to be someone else with that name.
Giygas appearance will be based on his Earthbound Beginnings, without the machines.
Giygas doesn't really have many movesets oh his boss battles, so in this fic, he knows every PSI moves.
Since in ORAS the pokemons can fight Deoxys in space I just assume all pokemons can breathe in space.
I don't know the relationship between Andrew and Andross, so I just make it like Andross consider Andrew an embarrassment to the family name.
Character debut : James McCloud, Andross, Ninten, Ana, Loid, Teddy, Pigma Dengar, Giygas, Shogun Warriors, Shogun Troopers.
Boss Battle : Ninten, Ana, Loid, Teddy, Giygas, Shogun Warriors as mini boss, the others are more of offscreen battle and avoiding attacks as the heroes refuse to harm their brainwashed allies.
