Delilah's POV
I can't sleep. All I can think about is Abby and James. Ida seems to have gone missing also. Then, it clicks. Who has just showed up out of nowhere and was with the enemy for years? "Isaiah," I whisper to myself. I hop out of bed and run to Daisy's room. But first, I check on Rosy to make sure that she is safe and sound. Once I'm in Daisy's room, I spot a note, not in her handwriting, on her desk. I start to go over to it when Daisy busts through the door yelling, "TAKE ME TO A PARADISE OF BABY DUCKS BECAUSE SCHOOL SUCKS and I'm going to watch a movie, peace out Girl Scout." Before I can reply, she runs back out of the room.
I decided to call Ida, she normally helps me when I can't sleep. Last year before varsity tryouts, I called her every night for a week. When she didn't answer, I started getting concerned. First Abby then James, and now Ida. What is going on, I think to myself. I then sprint back to my room and throw a rock out the window and hit Peter's window. I don't hear a scream so I assume that Peter isn't home. Then, I realize that moving a secret operation takes a lot of work, so much that Witter is probably still in Georgia. Wait, what if they never moved I think. It was worth a shot. I walk back to my room and put on an all-black outfit and sneak downstairs, open the door, and leave Daisy behind.
By the time I get to the abandoned building, it is almost midnight and the streets are completely deserted. My phone starts buzzing and I turn it on silent without even seeing who called. This is too important for distractions. I go to where we originally went in to find Abby and see that the door is open. Instead of debating whether I should go in or not, I just walk right in. Right into a trap, that is. As soon as I walk in, Isaiah and Willow appear out of nowhere. Before I can even recognize what is happening, I feel a stinging sensation in my neck. Next thing I know, I'm on the floor, passed out.
