I haven't thought of it, if I'm being honest. But I can imagine it right now. I could definitely see Yang as a member of the Rebel Alliance. She would just rebel in general. Weiss could be the daughter of a Senator in the Galactic Republic and a reluctant fighter in the Empire. Blake would be a rebel as well, maybe a member of the Separatists. As for Ruby, this might be cliché, but I could see her as a Jedi in the original trilogy. Maybe even taking Anakin's place in Episode 1. Here's what I see: Silver Eyes make a powerful connection to the Force, and can bring life whenever they are activated. Maybe this could be the power Anakin wanted to save Padme.
As for the villains, I could see Cinder as a Sith apprentice. Emerald and Mercury are inquisitors, along with Tyrian and Hazel. Watts might help make the Death Star along with a reluctant Pietro. Salem will definitely be the Empress, and she will be given the Palpatine treatment: horribly disfigured at the hands of someone who tried to kill her.
