77. Chapter 77

Day 2 - 11:40 PM

Sesshoumaru had been laying down on his futon, trying to keep her off his mind, but his beast wouldn't let him.

'Tch.' He heard it say.

He growled softly, careful not to wake Rin up. She was curled up next to him in his futon. Normally he wouldn't even try to sleep, but he needed the relief that came with the mindlessness of sleeping, otherwise he wasn't sure how he was going to get through these seven days.

He focused his thoughts on sleep, but every thought he had, found its way back to her. Tired of fighting with himself, he instead allowed the thoughts to overtake him. 'This is going to be a long seven days.' He sighed.

A/N: And that is the end of day 2! (Seems like it has been much more than just 2 days to me). I know this one was a super short little chapter, but I really wanted to get Sesshoumaru's thoughts out there too! Please let me know what you think! Day 3 is about to start! YAY! - Aika
