A.N. I think most of you haven't realized what kind of stories I prefer. I prefer thriller, Horror, Adventure, Action, Fantasy and Tragedy.
I like dark stories and all my stories have dark undertones and some are just directly dark.
Just because the beginning part is happy doesn't mean the rest is the same. I introduce the happy life so that you can feel bad when all is lost. The feeling is just delicious.
But, I know that most people don't like those things. So this story only has some dark things happen and no full blown tragedy, hopefully.
With the talks finished, Naruto went back to being alone in the soul world. He had expended some energy for this matter but it was necessary. It was ironic that he had ended up in this kind of role when looking at his past.
Now he wasn't a power house but an advisor and teacher. The only thing he could give was knowledge and support.
Unless he took over someone to heal his broken soul and cancel the curse, he couldn't really fight anything strong.
It was the reason why the Fenton's were needed and it was why Danny needed to grow up. With Danny growing up, Naruto would have the chance to also feed while the boy would mask his presence.
Walking alone in his palace, Naruto saw the shadows of his large family. He needed to be happy. He couldn't be depressed. He had lived a life without regrets.
That was what he wanted to say but he knew that was just false bravado. He missed them and the only thing he could do was grieve in silence for all that he had lost.
He had cried then and he couldn't help but cry now.
"Father"
A whisper in the dark and Naruto snapped around to see Shuten. She was happy like always, but she was a fake.
'Did I unconsciously activate her? I might be too tired.' Naruto shook his head as patted her head and walked away.
Leaving Naruto to his thoughts, Danny sat in the living room with his family. It had been a long discussion that took an hour to finish.
Danny couldn't keep up so he just blanked out and sat their silently. Naruto and the family didn't push him to focus since he would learn those things over time.
He lacked knowledge and skills to participate in such a discussion and would have been a disturbance. Danny understood that much and just watched the scene with fascination.
It was the first time in a long time that he looked at his parents with admiration. They looked so cool with that serious and professional attitude.
"Danny, I know what he said but are you okay with this?" Maddie asked as she sat beside him on the sofa.
Her voice was soft and gentle, showing her care for him.
"Yes, you don't have to put yourself in danger. We can take care of everything." Jazz also added as she sat on the other side, just like always she was over protective of him.
Danny was happy to hear those words and didn't take them the wrong way. Though, he still felt some annoyance from Jazz. Her words really made him feel incompetent.
"I am sure. I want to do this and we can all fight together now." Danny replied as he looked up and gave a nervous smile. He just felt so awkward.
"Are you sure Danny? I know you hate horror. Those monsters are very much real, and you might have to face them. We won't be able to help you with nightmares, you know." Jazz took his hand and expressed her concern.
"Stop babying him, he is right. We were meant to move together, it is in his blood. There is no safe place on this planet, I stand with his decision. If you two woman are going to be a hindrance, keep away from my boy." Jack spoke up as he had been pacing in front of them. He had been lost in thought but hearing Jazz, he got annoyed.
It was the one thing that had almost ruined their family. Their over protectiveness of Danny had pushed him away and even his macho personality couldn't get him to change.
He didn't want to blame them and say he told them so.
"I told you so, and see here we are. We wouldn't have needed a dead man to tell us this, if you had let me train Danny from the start." Jack still had pride so he felt better knowing that he beat both women at their game.
They had been telling him Danny was soft and wasn't suited, bla bla.
"Dear, I apologize. I was wrong, okay." Maddie couldn't deny his words after seeing Danny like this, he was happy. She had really babied him too much.
"It's fine. I just wanted you to know that babying too much will only ruin the kids. What do you think, Danny, am I right?" Jack turned to Danny and asked for his opinion. He also wanted to really know what Danny thought.
"I agree with Dad. I really wished that you guys would drag me and force me to change since I was too lazy. Your over-protectiveness and babying made me feel incompetent. I lost most of my passion because of it and people made fun about it.
But, now I know why you guys did it. I don't blame you for your choices and I am also partly responsible for my current state." Danny answered truthfully as he looked down and rubbed his ear, he did that when he stressed or nervous.
"I see. Thank you for being honest with us, Danny. And, I am extremely sorry that I couldn't trust you enough." Maddie walked back to Danny as she had stood up and walked to Jack. She hugged him and rubbed his back affectionately.
"I don't agree. Danny was traumatized by the ghost, and he had nightmares every time he watched a scary movie. He was never suited for this job. He would have a heart attack if he looked away for one moment in the field.
The only reason I am fine with it now is because the ghost is taking care of him. Or I would have hit him with Memory eraser." Jazz denied it, there was one thing she absolutely disliked and that was being wrong.
She was a smart and calculative girl. She didn't believe in guts or anything that was vague. She knew Danny's reactions and from that made a logical conclusion that none could deny.
Not even Danny.
Hearing those words, Danny felt extremely embarrassed and normally wouldn't have a comeback. But now his skills had been upped and his focus was very high that he could come up with proper reasoning with what he had on hand.
He didn't need Jack to fight back for him.
"Objection! You are right, but you are also wrong. Your conclusion only takes into account Danny without knowledge of ghosts and ghost hunting equipment. If I knew that I could actually kill these monstrosities and have ways to protect myself, why would I be so scared. My fear was dependent on the factor that I am unable to fight these things.
You can try and come back with whatever argument but all of it will flat here, Jazz. Admit it, you were wrong." Danny stood up from the sofa and faced his sister for the first time in his life with some confidence.
She was a smart and perfect girl. He always looked up to her and never thought he could win an argument. It was the reason why he always screamed and ran away.
Today he told her that she was wrong and he felt that he was right.
Oh man, it felt good.
And, yes he had played the game. He always wanted to say that to others, not just his friends.
Mission accomplished
Jazz was shocked at his words. He had spoken back to her. He was acting so rude towards his big sister.
It made her uncomfortable and angry.
"Did you just tell me that I am wrong? Danny Fenton, care to repeat that one more time."
"Jazz, behave young lady. He is right, as your conclusion depends on a clueless Danny. Showing anger because you can't back your opinion anymore is immature of you. I expected more from you than this." Maddie put her hand between them.
She knew her daughter's bad habit. It was a mix of both her parents, making it worse. Too much pride clouded her judgment as it was rare for her to be wrong and she would hound people until they gave in to her opinion with a lot of research to back her argument.
She had problems.
Jazz glared at Danny as she didn't even consider herself wrong. He had zero proof to back his words while she atleast real facts to back her argument.
He was using feelings to justify his answer, what nonsense was that.
"Why don't we test that? Let's equip him and put him with a weak ghost. Let's see our brave Danny show his awesome fighting skills and courage." Jazz suggested with a sinister smile. She could get really nasty when she was displeased.
"Um, sis. I only learned about this today, and I doubt you were so brave in a day or even a week."
"That's where you are wrong. I fought the first ghost I saw and I have never lost consciousness or given into fear. I didn't wet my bed till age of 10 unlike someone."
"That was a low blow sis. Let's just stop this here, are ruining the harmony with this pointless fight. Nobody knows what could have happened, let's just concede to that. Deal?" Danny played the mature person between them as he followed Naruto's advice of not starting pointless fights and think of the good they had done for him.
Jazz stared at his hand and expression, as she let out exasperated breath and took his hand. Dragging him in, she gave him a hug.
"You are growing up little brother, keep it up. I will protect you so keep calm and be brave." Jazz let it go since she didn't have to acknowledge she was wrong. He was right in this statement, as no one could tell if they were right.
On the other hand, she was happy that Danny felt like he had changed and he had changed so quickly into something she always wanted for him.
Maybe if he kept it up, she would get him settled with one of her girlfriends. That Paulina girl was dumb as a brick and too shallow for Danny.
Sam was good but she didn't look like she was going for Danny and it went both ways, they were just too close already to see each other that way.
"With that settled, rejoice. We all are one family at long last and now we can train together from now on. But before that, prepare for a celebration." Jack announced as he took all of them into his embrace. He was a giant of a man and his arms could easily take them all.
They looked like stick figure in front of him, which was the same for majority of humanity. He was giant fuzzy bear that was happy all the time and he looked friendly most of the time. But when he got serious or angry, people couldn't control their bladders.
With the family situation in place, Danny postponed his date with Marge to the next day while he spent time with his family and finally saw the reality of his life.
He had never known his house completely, now he knew what was hidden from him and it was awesome.
It felt like the secret hideout of a super hero or villain.
Everything was so high tech and they even had flight devices like Vulture. They could even fly with their armors.
They had jetpacks and boosters.
They even had a freaking fighter jet underground.
If that wasn't enough, the weaponry was out the world. His family was like a small army with all those weapons.
They even armored vehicles with Gatling guns and rocket launchers.
Danny was filled with awe and excited like a child. Everyone was happy to see his reactions and proud. Maddie took his measurements using the machine and started the process for building a custom suit for him while he got a utility belt with basic items, a sword, a shield, a dagger and gun to fight ghosts.
The shield was a portable item that was like smart watch on his wrist and he would need to resupply the energy when it ran out.
For proper fighting procedures there were bigger ones that could take more punishment.
Even the dagger and sword were portable, as they looked like a pen and belt.
Jack also gave him some gloves that allowed him to fight ghosts with his fists when not having his armor. The gun looked like a smart phone and changed shape to become a desert eagle shape gun that shot spirit energy.
It was hard to hide weapons from sight normally without the invisibility device but the research was in progress and they were working on making it easier to carry things and store them.
Naruto came in hand at that moment as he carved a storage seal on Danny's body forcing his parents to see the skull tattoo on his back.
They were still annoyed at him for doing that except Jack, he was cool with it. He got into that shit a lot when he was young and he had multiple tattoos.
Naruto had to borrow energy from the Fenton's and they gave him a battery for usage as he carved the seal on his body along with others.
He gave Danny a weight seal.
Resistance seal: Provided resistance against the elements
Calm Mind seal: Kept the mind calm even in the most dangerous situations
Unbreakable will seal
Energy absorption seal: Absorbed energy directed at Danny
Energy dispersion seal: Dispersed the energy directed at Danny
Barrier Seal: Formed an energy barrier around Danny for protection

Super Perception: Gave high perception to Danny, making his mind move at higher speed then normal to think up plans or get an advantage in a fight.

Anti-Debuff: Weakened or cancelled any move targeting Danny that would weaken him.
Naruto ended up using multiple batteries for the task but it all finished within a picosecond. Naruto couldn't indulge the family in his art at normal speed and had to move at his actual speed for the task, to lower the risk of starting the Armageddon.
To everyone else, the tattoos just suddenly appeared on Danny's body. Now it wasn't just the skull, but a lot more.
Naruto was used to doing such things for others since he was the authority on Fuinjutsu and he had a lot more seals to add, but he could do those later and for now these would suffice.
He wouldn't have given these seals either except few of them but life was unexpected and he was quite unlucky.
Even if he died somehow, Danny would still have some support with just these seals.
He made them with his current level of power so they were that strong but Danny would get better results as he grew stronger.
It was just unfortunate that it depended on Danny's level after a while and only at the beginning the seals provided him ample service without using his personal power.
Naruto kept the rest of the seals inactive except the storage and weight seals.
He explained the functions to them and the whole family was in an excitement mode. These seals would make their fight power go up instantly and they could reach higher levels.
For the time being, Naruto only gave them the storage seal to utilize since he would waste too much power to make the rest and they could end up messing with it without his knowledge.
It wasn't like the old days where he was aware of everything within his domain unless the other side was actually capable of blocking his abilities.
Naruto didn't pass these seals to them for reproduction at this time because they could end up sharing them and passing them to unwanted guests.
Organization could be helpful and unnecessarily cruel.
He could end up being targeted by the Shaman and Ghost Hunter Association or the Plumbers, especially the Plumbers.
The family understood his concerns and decided to wait until Danny was strong enough to perform this act instead of using up Naruto's limited power.
Naruto couldn't even renew his energy in his current state so he was permanently losing energy.
Finishing up with that, Naruto left Danny to his family where he ended up playing around with his new toys.
Danny wasn't new to guns as his family was all gun enthusiasts. Jack had a huge collection.
Danny had learned how to handle a gun at the age of 10 and he shot some targets but this time he shot moving targets with his gun.
It barely had any recoil unlike the normal one. He could now understand how Jazz could handle such big guns.
When he said that, his family shook their heads.
No, they were all superhumans.
Bloody hell, they were hiding all the good stuff from him.
Every mid rank ghost hunter got the super soldier serum and even the serum had ranks just like their equipment.
Higher ranked individuals had a stronger dose that gave them more powers. Unlike the super serum that Captain America used, this one was made using material collected from the werewolves and vampires.
It was needed or they wouldn't have chance against the stronger threats. They couldn't rely on the mutants since there weren't many.
These mutants were a result of unborn children getting hit by a high dose of ghost and demonic energy while in the wombs. Most children end up dying along with their parents but some people are lucky and they survive this tragic ordeal with a blessing.
They end up developing powers just like the demons and ghosts.
Of course there was also the artificial mutation done through experiments, like the case of Spiderman. He had the powers of a spider but he wasn't a mutant. He was an artificial mutant.
Coming back to the topic at hand, Danny wouldn't get the dose since he didn't qualify for it. He needed to reach the peak level of human strength his body could achieve before such a thing could be taken.
This way a high boost was achieved unlike taking it when being average human level.
It was an exciting thing but knowing that he would already gain super powers from Naruto made it seem mundane.
With that explanation out of the way, they finished the tour and had a large party until late night. Marge and Ivana also joined them along with a male named Train Heartnet.
Train was a young man with an average height, short brown hair, striking gold, cat-like eyes. He possessed XIII tattoo on his left collar-bone that signified that he was part of Chronos. He was one of their ranked assassins with an artefact.
Train's artifact was a gun with six-shot double-action revolver with gold engraving on its grip and barrel. The frame had a triangular attachment that bears the Roman numeral XIII on both sides. It possessed a rapid-fire trigger for quick shooting.
The name it was given was Hades.
Hades was a top-break revolver, meaning it was reloaded by "breaking" the pistol in half, exposing the rear of the cylinder. That automatically ejected all cartridges inserted and allowed the user to drop in fresh ones.
A unique feature of the gun was a five-meter-long retractable wire leash inserted in the grip.
The gun was made of entirely of Orichalcum, the strongest material made by man, and it was connected to the Gun ghost, giving it huge power since people were very much afraid of guns.
Train wore a white v-neck t-shirt (that showed off his XIII tattoo) under a blue cropped jacket with four doughnut-resembling objects over his front. Train always said they were food rations as a joke but they were wooden with metal built in to protect his vital points. His gun's holster is held on with two brown straps and worn over dark blue pants with black shoes. He also wore a red collar with a bell in reference to his cat-like personality.
He had joined Jack's squad after leaving Chronos because of personal issues, like them killing the girl he loved.
Jack had saved him from death and he had decided to repay the favour by joining the team, and providing his power.
For an assassin, he had a very easy going personality like a cat and that was mostly because of the girl he loved. She had changed him from the cold hearted killer into a living human. His childhood was harsh and filled with death. He was taken by Chronos and trained to become one of them.
Danny never knew about such things and always thought that Train was just fun and cool guy that loved to just laze around the house. He also lived on the rooftop as he liked open places and the night sky, as it was reminder of his stray cat lover.
Hearing him share it like a good memory, Danny learned not to make conclusions based on outside appearance.
He had already seen that with his parents and the doctors, but Train was the final hit.
After the party ended, Danny was feeling sick. His head hurt so much and he was about to throw up. He expended more energy than possible because of his excitement.
He had gone through a normal school day. He had sex. He played around with Tucker. He played around with his family. He used jutsu and finally the party.
Too much for average guy like him while the rest were not even human anymore so they were just chilling.
'I hope I can arrive at that level soon.' Danny thought as he collapsed on to the bed, not even changing into his pajama.
With that he finally entered the dream world, not the soul world, where Naruto would train him. Dream manipulation and entering the dream world was something that Naruto had gained from his enemies and learned some things about it from Great Red before building upon it to reach greater heights.
The dream world was one thing that connected the Multiverse and could allow him contact with his world but he knew that the enemy had people watching his territory.
So he could only focus on Danny for now and leave thoughts about his world for later.
