We eventually found a bus that would take us to the base of the mountains, we climbed aboard and one expensive bus ride later, we arrived.
Coral was the only one of us to be happy to get off the bus, what she didn't know is that we had a hard rest of the day ahead of us.
"I miss going on quests," Annabeth said, sniffing the air as we walked to the mountains gift shop so we could see if they had a map.
"You know a map isn't going to help us," Nico complained.
"I know but at least we know where we're going to be at," I stated as I walked into the warm building.
I picked Coral up as soon as we got inside. There were tons of people. Tons was an understatement, people were jammed into every nook and cranny of this place, apparently this was a tourist spot.
"Trish?" Coral asked, "I'm hungry." I looked at her and sighed, the food her had got to be expensive.
I turned to Annabeth, "Annabeth, you go to the front desk and see if you can get a map, me and Nico are going to get some food."
We went our ways and promised to meet up outside. "So, what was the rest of the prophecy?" Nico asked as he snacked on a cookie that he had gotten out of my backpack.
"Hey, we're just about to get a real meal, put that cookie away."
"But we already have food, why get more?"
"We only have cookies and a salad left, and we both know a salad isn't real food, it's just a tree without the wood," I stated.
"Heh, suck it you stupid salad," Nico said I to my backpack as he grabbed another cookie.
"Hey!" I demanded. He pouted but put it back. "Now where is the food?" I wondered out loud.
I felt Nico tap my shoulder and point to a small cafe in the corner. "Of course you were able to find the food," I said, rolling my eyes.
Once we had gotten a few sandwiches and chips, we walked outside to find Annabeth sitting on a nearby bench and reading a large map.
"Did you find anything interesting?" I asked.
"Well I might know where Khione is being held, but other than that nothing," Annabeth smiled.
Thanks for reading! Sorry for such a short chapter but it's late where I live and I need sleep so I'm going to end the chapter there.
