The Indian summer was fading away, a new school year was going to start soon. Much to Alex's dismay.
Both of us were still having nightmares, even though either of us was willing and or able to talk about it.
"Seriously why the hades do I have to go back to that Tartarus pit of a place!" Alex groaned.
Fighting the urge to throw a book at her outburst.
"Unfortunately you need to graduate to be able to not have to go that pit again," Mom said. "Then comes college dear."
She groaned once again, before stomping off, the door shutting meaning she was not happy. Mom and I shared a look but said nothing. I knew that I would need to get my schedule from Mother. We had to step up a meet-up, so I could get it. We still talk every though my stepfather wanted nothing to do with me and it since barred me from the apartment, Mother had given me all of my stuff.
"What time are you supposed to meet up with your Mother?" Mom asked.
"Around Noon," I replied. "We are meeting in Washington Square." Glancing at my watch and shot right up.
"Which is in 15 minutes," Mom added.
Rushing past, grabbing my bag and keys.
"Later!" I called running out of the apartments.

Sitting on the fountain ring, waiting for Mother to appear. Glancing at the mob of people coming and going. She appeared from them, locking eyes, she strolled over and sat down next to me.
"Hello Mother," I said turning to face her. "How are you this fine day?"
"Hello Tabitha," She said replied facing me as well. "It seems that you are doing well. Here is your school schedule." She handed it over, the manila folder. Grabbing it seeing that the folder was still intact.
"I'm shocked that you didn't look," I said.
"I'm giving you your privately Tabitha," She replied reaching for my hand. "I'm sorry for not fighting for you please forgive me."
Looking at her and offering a small smile.
"I'm sorry Mother but until he apologizes, I can't forgive you. Thank you for bringing the schedule, send my love to Abel and Cayla." I said standing up and walked off.

"So you are still going to the same school?" I asked Ava.
"Yes, and I can't wait to kill it with the first look." She said pushing clothes aside, searching for something.
"Alex isn't a fan of school," I said sitting at her desk. "While I'm happy for another school year to start."
"Really why?" Ava asked pulling out a black peasant top that was covered with fake pearls. "Perfect now I just need to get a nice bottom."
Just smiling at her being so excited about it.
"Do you think school is going to be good this year?" I asked.
"Of course it's going to be a great one." She replied.
"Are you gotten back into a routine sleeping pattern?" I asked.
"Somewhat," She replied. "What about you two?"
"I'm doing okay but Alex it's getting harder," I said.
"Give her time she will get back into the routine," Ava said.
"I hope so," I replied.
"Aren't you the one to always have faith for the best out coming?" Ava asked.
Giving her a look and smile.

A beeping woke me up from my sleep. Looking at the alarm to see that it was 6:30 am. Seeing the date and knowing that today was the first day of junior year of high school. Crashing and groaning meant that Alex was up and not happy about it. Getting up and getting ready for the day. Dressing in nice jeans and a nice top that Ava had given to me for the day. Heading into the hallway to find Alex walking out looking half asleep, her hair looked brushed.
"Morning," I said offering a smile.
A grunt was given back, and she disappeared into her room. Heading into the kitchen to find that Mom had already placed bowls and mugs on the table. She appeared from the kitchen holding the kettle with steam pouring out. She offered a smile and pour the hot water into the mug.
"Good morning," She said, she was dressed in a nice pair of grey slacks and a light purple top, she pulled her hair up into a messy bun. "Alex is getting up."
"I just saw her coming from the bathroom," I said.
"Get in there before she goes back in." She said.
Rushing into the bathroom, taking care of myself. Hearing Alex's footsteps stomped past me. Opening the door to see that Alex was sitting at the table munching on cereal. She was in her black jeans and a Linkin park shirt.
"Morning," I said taking a seat across from her.
She just nodded at me, and when back to eating her cereal.
"Are you girls ready for the first day of your junior year?" She asked.
"Whatever," Alex muttered. "It just another prison."
"Alex," I muttered adding sugar to my tea.
"What I'm allowed to have my thoughts." She replied.
I just rolled my eyes at her comment, Alex had never like school and she let it be known that idea.
"Alex it's going to be fine," I said. "New year, new learning stuff."
"Whatever," Alex said. "I do my best but some teachers don't think it's enough."
"It's going to be okay," I replied.

We came to a stop in front of the school.
"We will meet at lunch okay," I said.
"Yeah, see you at lunch." She said and walk into the building and disappeared from view.
"Everything will be okay today," I said to myself and walked into the building myself.
(Alex's P.O.V.)
Walking through the halls, keeping my guard up because I was worried and annoyed. I did like school but I didn't like the dick teachers and bullies that like to mess with me because I couldn't sit still as well as some teachers saying that I should be on meds to make me zombie-like. Heading to the new locker that was given to me easily unlocked the locker and unloaded the books and blinders that.
"Oh, they did let you back into our lovely school?" I heard Alice MacFord ask aloud.
Fighting the urge to sucker punch her, I focus on my getting my locker ready.
"Why would let this freak back in?" I heard Jessica Kingston ask.
Once again I fought the urge, looking at my schedule to see that first period was resource room which was a great thing for me. Slamming the locker shut, slinging the book bag on my shoulder, and headed to room 202. Still feeling Alice and Jessica's eyes burning holes in the back of my head. Coming to room 202 to see my resource room which was being taught by Mr. Walter, who offered me a warm smile. Dropping my bag and taking a seat. A few more students came in, and many of the other students were also students with disabilities of various things.
(Tabs P.O.V.)
Walking through the red doors to the lockers lined walls. Seeing old classmates as well as seeing the new freshmen that look fearful. Some classmates were reeking with body odor which made me want to upchuck, pushing it the want down and headed to my locker, dropping what I needed before heading to Science which was room 100 which is right by the cafeteria. Heading into the room which was much like a basic school lab classroom. Mr. Lolly was sitting and waiting for us to quiet down.
"Hello and welcome back to school and Chemistry." He said.
Offering him a smile and took out my notebook and pencil at the ready to learn.

Lunch finally arrived, walking into the cafeteria looking around being spotting Alex sitting and waiting for me. Dropping my bag next to Alex and sat my butt down.
"How is your day going?" I asked.
"The normal," She replied. "Alice and Jessica have already started crap up again."
"It will be fine," I replied. "Just tune them out."
"Trying." She replied grabbing her water.
Giving her a look, which she gave one back making me smirk at her.
"Be ready for anything I don't trust Alice and Jessica even if it's the first day." She said.
"We'll have faith that they will not cause issues," I replied, as the bell rang out. "See you after the last period, we will meet at the main steps."
"Yeah." She said grabbing her bag and headed off.
Moving myself to Japanese literature an elective that I wanted to take scene ninth grade, taking a seat and hope that Alex was doing okay.
(Alex P.O.V.)
Sitting in history class which was taught by Mrs. Sullivan, who at least one of the teacher's that like me for me.
"Welcome to Eleventh-grade history which is all about the U.S. Of A." She said.
Giving her a smile at her comment, which she gave one back.

The school day had finally ended, going to my locker, and I could feel eyes on me, instantly going onto high alert. Glancing out of the corner of my eyes to any threat, not seeing anything but I kept my alert on. Rushing through getting what I need, before getting to the main steps. Tabs was waiting for me holding her own piles of textbooks.
"You ready to go?" She asked.
"Yes," I muttered. "Let's get the hades out of here."
"I second that." She said and she led us away.
Still feeling on high alert as we walked up to the apartment. She shot me a look.
"Sorry I feel like I have eyes on me," I replied as I placed the textbooks down onto the dining room table.
"I think you are being a bit crazy," She replied. "You are just worried about Alice and Jessica."
"Maybe," I replied.
"It's going to be okay don't worry about it." She replied.

The workload that I was given was killing me, so much at once. I felt bad for the Guys because both of us couldn't hang out with them because of the workload.
