Welcome back ladies and gentleman to the latest chapter of salems knight. This chapter is the last before we proceed to the final fight so I hope you enjoy this chapter because I enjoyed writting it...especially the last part. lol.
Ironwood, glynda, ozpin, amber and jaune crammed themselves into the elevator and raced back to the surface to see exactly what was happening. When the doors to the elevator opened the five of them were met with students running through the halls with some screaming and others trying their best to push others out of the way so they could escape whatever was happening outside. Ironwood and ozpin were the first to push their way through the crowd of students with jaune, amber and glynda following close behind until they reached the door that led to Beacons front yard.
The general wasted no time in ramming into the door, blasting it open to witness his atlesian airships opening fire on Beacons bullheads. Flames engulf the platforms that had been lined with several dead pilots who became the first casualties in the surprise attack against them. Without hesitation Ironwood rounded on the one person he knew he could blame for this unfortunate situation. Hands took hold of jaunes school uniform and pushed him into the door frame, pinning him there. "This is all your fault" the general snarled "If you had warned us of watts's involvement sooner we could avoided this mess"!
Ozpin rushed over to ironwoods side and place a hand on the generals arm "james none of us could have predicted this outcome, please you must stay calm".
"That's not true! Watts has been assumed dead for years but now it makes sense how some boy managed to break into my scroll and successfully take control of atlas's security with little effort". Ironwood brought his face closer to jaunes as he glared daggers into the young man "he's known about watts all this time but didn't bother to inform me or even you before I brought my ships here".
Ozpin and glynda looked to the young arc with wide questioning eyes. "I'm surprised you figured that out on your own" jaune answered simply "but as I'm sure you remember I've been on the run for a while now within enemy territory, so forgive me for not outing myself so people can line up to hand me over to atlas for their methods of interrogation"!
Ironwood growled before releasing the boy "this isn't over arc, and when we get through this I'm going to make sure you spill everything whether you like it or not". Jaune realigned his uniform "save the threats for after we win" he said before pulling out his scroll. The screen displayed a "no signal" on the front which meant they were stuck without communication or air support. Jaune showed his scroll to the headmaster and deputy headmistress "looks like she cut off anyway for us to call our teams. And here I thought things couldn't get any worse" he grumbled.
Just as jaune finished complaining, alarms in the distance began to roar to life drawing their attention towards the source. Amber groaned loudly "and there's the attack on vale kicking off as planned". Beacons headmaster gripped his cane tightly before looking to ironwood "james, the situation has become worse then I could have possible predicted".
Ironwood raised a brow "what are you asking of me oz"?
Ozpin let out a sigh before looking up at the Beacon tower "there is a very real possibility that we may fail to protect this kingdom". The old wizard looked to his deputy, earning him a nod of understanding before he faced the general once more. "So I must ask that you take amber away from here as quickly as possibly".
Jaune walked away from the conversation leaving ozpin and the general to argue about what they should do while he focused on trying to survive this crisis. "Lien for your thoughts"? The young arc turned to the brunette at his side "just trying to figure out how to get out of this mess". He looked back towards vale and could just imagine all those innocent families being put in danger because of cinder lust for power and her selfishness. With no bullheads to transport huntsmen and huntresses to the city, they were going to have to rely on those hunters who were already there.
The vytal festival was at least a month away so hunters probably would be out working until at least the week before, to gather the money to take that week off. With that in mind, jaune couldn't help but feel really worried because that would mean there was less defenders in the city while this was happening. Plus since the headmaster hadn't brought people in to set up security yet they were pretty much caught with their pants down and prime for a butt fucking.
The young blonde ran a hand through his hair before his eyes opened wide as an idea cropped up in his brain. He fished out his scroll once more and tapped in a few keys before looking up into the sky. After a few seconds a rocket locker dropped out of the sky and landed a few feet in front of him "now we're talking" he said as he rushed over to his locker. "Care to share with the rest of the class" amber asked when she caught up to him. Jaune reached into his locker and pulled out his huntsmen gear to wear but then reached back inside and pulled out a duffle and tossed it to her. "It's an extra set of clothes just in case mine ever got tore".
When she opened the bag she saw a black t-shirt, blue jeans and a black hoodie with a rabbit on the front "this is anything but fashionable" she complained. Jaune raised a brow "well if you ask glynda I'm sure she'd be willing to dress you in one of her teacher outfits. You know, give you that naughty teacher vibe". Amber looked to the deputy headmistress and saw how tight her outfit was before turning back to jaune "admit it, you'd like to see that wouldn't you"? Jaune couldn't help but chuckle "on you, no, but on blake? yes please".
"You are such a pervert" amber laughed aloud. The blonde could merely shrug his shoulders "I'm a seventeen year old guy with hormones, I think you should cut me some slack for that". Once the brunette was fully dressed she looked back towards the argument the general was having with Beacons headmaster "man you drop a locker close by and they don't even take a second to look. Maybe if it was a missile or dust bomb they'd focus on the problems we're facing right now".
Jaune nodded "they are just afraid, it's understandable".
"And yet here you are grinding those gears in that head of yours for some miracle solution".
Once again all jaune could do was shrug his shoulders "I blame alec for this state of mind. It's always been either you do and live or you don't and die, there never was an in between with that man". Amber agreed after recalling jaunes memories of the elder man. "Okay so now this is the part where you tell me your big plan" the brunette said as she eyed the young arc. "This is it" jaune said before knocking on the locker.
Amber looked from the locker to the blonde next to it and raised a brow "so we're going to use the rockets as man made missile against those atlesian battleships? Somehow I don't think that's going to work". Jaune shook his head "we won't use them as missiles but as transports from here to vale. Each rocket locker has just enough fuel to make a one way trip there, which is just fine with me since it'll allow us to give the people of vale some support".
"But what about the battleships in the sky? They aren't just going to sit by while we ride these silver steeds in to the city to save the day".
"Your still connected to cinder right? Can you tell me where she's at right now" he asked. Ambers confusion showed on her face "she's..."! Her head turned upwards towards the larges airship "she's up there somewhere, but where exactly I can't say". Jaune pulled out his scroll and changed it so he could use the walkie-talkie function that is usually used in the field "hello hello is captain nora there? This is commander arc of the team JNWY (January) please respond".
Amber watched on in silence as jaune waited for a response she wasn't sure was coming. "Aaarrgh, this is captain nora of the party boat responding, what's the word commander" a cheerfully voice responded. Jaune held the scroll to his ear "It's time to rally the crew captain, there's a kingdom in need of saving and beasties in need of leg breaking".
"Roger that commander, I'll spread the word and we'll join you when we can" The cheerfully voice said before signing off.
When jaune put away his scroll, amber shoulder bumped him "how the heck did you know she'd be able to answer"? The blonde raised a brow "I'm surprised you didn't know that all first year students scrolls by default are on the same frequency until they go on their first mission. Since the walkie-talkie function isn't used in the city many people don't bother learning about the emergency switch function the scrolls use". Jaune held his scroll up "in case the user can't take the time to switch their scrolls functions in the field the scroll will do so automatically unless the function is disabled in the options menu" he said as he showed her on his scroll.
"Wait but doesn't that mean everyone in Beacon just heard your little talk"?
"Not everyone. The students from the other academies have their own default frequency, so unless their next to a Beacon student they won't have heard my message" the blonde explained.
It didn't take long for nora to arrive with several others following close behind. Ozpin and ironwood stopped in there argument to see what exactly was going on. "Captain nora reporting a mission accomplished" the pink bomber said with a great amount of enthusiasm while striking a military officers salute. Jaune return the sentiment and saluted her in return "good job captain, I knew you wouldn't let me down". The blonde looked over the rest of the people who gathered. Some he expected and others he didn't think would have shown up were all aligned in front of him, from team CFVY to even sun's team.
"What are you guys doing here" jaune asked the monkey faunus. Sun shrugged "saw some students assembling and thought something was going down so I just knew I had to be a part of it". Neptune appeared over sun's shoulder a moment later "and we just followed him" he said before returning to his teams side. Coco walked up to the blonde and lowered her glasses slightly to look him in the eyes "we didn't come out here for questions lover boy so why don't you tell us what this is all about already and how we can help".
Jaune exchanged glances with blake before earning a nod from her. With her approval, jaune explained the situation as best he could without bringing up salem, the maidens or the relics. "So that's the plan then? Ride a bunch of lockers into vale and lay the ass whooping of a lifetime on the grimm and anyone else who get's in our way" she asked with a raised brow. Jaune nodded and coco pushed her glasses back into place "sounds like fun to me but I hope you don't mind sharing with others"?
"I don't mind at all".
Coco smiled before turning to the rest of her team "alright guys time to spread the word and get a bunch of those kiddo's ready to go". Then the fashionista looked to the headmaster and deputy headmistress "And I need you to tell the rest of the student body to help out unless they want to see their kingdom go up in smoke". Ironwood looked to ozpin and glynda with a raised brow "now we're taking orders from students"? The elder wizard chuckled to himself "it would seem so james".
Glynda glared at the elder wizard "you can't be serious ozpin"! Beacons headmaster ignored the complaints his colleagues spouted to address the man who seemed to have a plan for what they were dealing with. "Mr arc if I might make a suggestion? Would you have amber work with the general to take back vale"? Amber looked ready to argue when jaune cut her off "sure, that sounds like a good idea". The brunette grabbed jaune by the arm and dragged him away from the rest of the group.
"What the hell was that?! Don't I get a say in where I plan to fight" she asked angrily.
Jaune met her gaze as he spoke "of course you do but if your plan is to head up to that battleship to face cinder for revenge then that's not gonna happen". The young arc held up his hand to silence the brunette before she could argue "don't forget your the one she's after and going up there to fight her would practically be us gift wrapping the maidens power and your life for her". Jaune took hold of ambers shoulders firmly "your a huntress and there's plenty of people who could use your strength right now so please leave cinder to me, after all we are going to need a distraction and who better then me".
Amber scowled at the blonde but knew she couldn't really disagree with his logic even if she hated it. Seeing that he had won her over the two headed back to the group where he gave ozpin a nod to let him know that he conviced her. The elder wizard turned away and began to walk back into Beacon before calling to coco "come miss adel, I believe there's plenty of students who would benefit from hearing one of their own leading the charge to rescue the city". Coco wasted no time in following the headmaster, along with glynda and the rest of team CFVY.
Ironwood walked over to jaune and eyed him for a moment before looking up to the airships in the sky "if your going up there there's a good chance they'll try to shoot you down before you can land". Jaune nodded "that is a risk but I don't believe every atlesian soldier you brought has been defeated yet". The general nodded to his words "true otherwise we'd be drowning in cannon fire right about now". Ironwood took one last look at the blonde and wished him the best of luck before heading back into the academy.
Jaune slapped his cheeks before looking to the rest of the people present "ren, nora and vernal I'm going to need you to come with me. We're going to be taking down the main ship so the other students at Beacon won't get shot down before they can reach vale. Sun I'm going to need your team riding up with us to get on the next ship over, there maybe white fang up there so take them out and protect the soldiers who are still alive".
Ruby zipped around the blonde excitedly "oh oh what about us? Are we going to fly up their as well to handle a battleship too? And why are you taking ren instead of the rest of your team? Please tell me I'm allowed to do a cool entrance with an awesome one liner"!
Jaune felt himself getting dizzy for trying to keep an eye on the small girl running around him, so he reached out and caught ruby by her hood and held her up like a cat. The girl in red struggled to get free at first but began to pout cutely when it was apparent the she couldn't. Jaune smiled warmly at his small friend before answering her questions in the order he heard them. "You and the rest will be heading to vale to handle the trouble there while looking for my sister and your cousin. They are there without back up and I'm not sure how long they can last on their own".
Ruby face went from excited to worried at learning her family was in danger. Jaune placed her back on the floor before placing a hand on her head "yang and saphron are strong so I'm sure they can hold out long enough for you to get there with help, and who knows maybe you can show up and use that one liner you wanted". That brought a smile to her face. "As for why I'm taking ren instead of weiss...well lets just say we have unfinished business with the people up there and he knows how to fight better in close combat".
"Are you saying I'm inadequate"?! weiss scoffed
Jaune looked lost for words so vernal took the chance to answer for him "that's exactly what he's saying princess". The look on the heiresses face told the blonde that vernal ruined any chance of them ever being friends with that remark. "Sorry weiss but we're just more qualified to handle the people we're about to face" he explained, hoping she would understand. Weiss huffed "and what makes you all so qualified for this then me"? Jaunes face turned very serious as he answered "because we are prepared to take human life if necessary".
Ruby stared at him with wide eyes as did some of the others. Blake stepped away from the rest of the group and touched a hand to his arm "do what you have to" she said, which earned her a shocked look from the tiny girl in red. "How can you say that" ruby asked in disbelief "we are suppose to be the good guys, we save people not kill them"!
"That's not entirely true kiddo". The new voice had everyone turning to see qrow and the rest of team STRQ walking up to them. Ruby looked as surprised to see them as much as she was surprised to hear her dad agree with jaune. Qrow walked up until he stood in front of his daughter "some times people just don't give you a choice like I'm expecting the person your friend is talking about". The younger branwen looked up to see jaune and received a nod of confirmation. Summer came up beside her husband and met ruby's concerned gaze "I know it's hard to accept because it was hard for me to as well but what their saying is true sweetie".
Ruby idolized her mother, so when she agreed with jaune and her father, the small girl was left speechless.
Jaune took the the moment to pull blake aside while the rest conversed amongst themselves about the up coming mission. The concern in his eyes said enough about what he thought but he still voiced it anyways "I don't know what's waiting for you in vale but..."! He was cut of as blake kissed him gently "you have more then enough on your plate already without having to worry about me" she whispered as they slowly broke apart. Jaunes hands found purchase on blakes waist as he rested his forehead against her's "I know but I can't help it".
Blakes hands snaked around jaunes neck and they stood like that for a moment to take comfort in each others presence. "How long till you leave" she asked. Jaune thought about it before answering "everyone still needs to get their gear and we'll need to unlock a rocket locker for vernal to use...so maybe fifteen to twenty minutes tops. Why"? Blake pushed herself away before looking toward the group to see themselves still conversing, so she turned back to her boyfriend with a small blush on her cheeks and told him to just follow her.

The two walked through Beacons hallway until they found an empty dorm room that was probably being used by some of the transfer students. With people in a fuss about what was happening they more then likely wouldn't return for anything now since their lockers had their weapons inside. Using that reasoning for what she was about to do, the cat faunus broke into the room and dragged the blonde in with her. The second the door was closed and locked, blake was on him. Kissing him with more passion then he knew how to handle the blonde found himself falling back onto one of the rooms beds and his girlfriend quickly straddling him before he knew it.
Jaune tried to speak but found two fingers pressed against his lips before he could. "We don't know what's about to happen" blake started "But what ever does come out of this fight for either of us, I want to remember this moment just in case... just in case..." she trailed off. Jaune sat up and hugged her tightly for a moment before kissing her lips gently "I know" he whispered. The next moment he looked away embarrassingly which caused blake to ask what was wrong? Jaune grumbled something at first and when asked to repeat what he said, the blonde responded with the truth "I've never done this before".
He didn't know what he expected, for her to laugh or to joke about it maybe but when she used a finger to force him to look at her, he hadn't expected to see the hungry look she was sending him. She smiled seductively before stroking the side of his cheek with her thumb "That's ok" she whispered as she closed in on him "I'll teach you".
Teach, glynda, outfit, blake. Those four things came together and suddenly he remembered his conversation with amber and what he said. Suddenly he found his sword at attention and knew he was going to hell. well... first heaven then hell if blake had any say about it.
He had just finished putting his gear on only to have blake pull it of with the determination only she would have in that moment. She wasn't the only on who worked to relieve their partner of their clothing though. In between the hot kisses they shared, with each cloth jaune took off the cat faunus, he found beautiful white skin that needed to be treasured in the only way it needed. From her arms to her chest and everywhere he could reach he kissed and explored her body, earning small moans and gasps here and there.
Blake knew what she wanted and would instruct him so, only to find him following every order and teasing her whenever he found a new spot she didn't even know she even had. Climax from just the foreplay had been wonderful but it just wasn't enough for his cat faunus. Blake kissed his lips as she played with his member and moved lower to put his nipple in between her teeth before lightly nibbling on it. It was like nothing he'd ever felt before and when she decide to go down on him, he couldn't contain himself for long. His body stiffened as he came but instead of moving away Blake drank what he'd released before smiling up at him from below.
The look in her eye's said that the best was yet to come and luckily his sword was ready for the challenge. Blake stroked his member a few more times before taking him inside her. Lust was as clear as day in the cat faunus's eyes when she looked down at him from above. She was the most beautiful he'd ever seen her in that moment and that made him only want what happened next all the more.
She moved slowly at first, rising and lowering herself onto him and drawing pants with each motion. When the pace began in earnest blake moaned louder with each movement she made. Jaune had enough with being on the bottom and lowered blake down on her back when he had the chance and began to work his hips as best as he could. Blakes hands grasped the sheets as jaune worked into her and she began to call his name. Hearing her call his name with such lust and passion in her voice only made him want to please her more. She wasn't just some girl he liked, she was a queen who only deserved the best and he would give it to her with all his might.
When he finally reached the height of his ecstasy, blake wrapped her legs around his waist and held him tightly as they both came. Jaune felt blakes nails dig into his skin as she stiffened against him. Luckily his aura protected him from the worst but knowing what was to come after this moment made him wish for this moment to never end. As if to grant his wish the use of his semblance restored him and his member without blake knowing. Jaune leaned down and kissed her with every bit of love he felt for her in that moment before whispering in her cat ear "another round"?
Blakes eye's widened for a moment before she smiled happily "if you think you can".
Jaunes smile grew larger "Oh I think I got a few more left in me".
(whistles intensely) That's my boy! Show her what an Arc's made of!
