I'm not sure Remnant has nukes like Earth, but Skynet would definitely upgrade Atlesian Knights to be Terminators. You know, that's actually a good idea for a story, PM me if you're interested. Yes, I could see Penny as a prototype infiltrator.

I could see Yang and Blake as good companions. Yang would go for the adventure, and Blake will get a chance to see other life forms to see how peace between Faunus and Humans is possible. I don't see either of them being kicked out.
I don't think I like the Resolution Dalek either. It was really weird, and the design was all wrong (you summed it up pretty good).
Oh, the Vashta Nerada would make a great Grimm. It would be a threat to Ironwood and Ozpin, everyone would fear them. But I could see Ruby's light as an effective counterattack.
