Wandenreich (Silbern Royal Garden)
Just outside the top palace where the top tower and the palace itself was located was a platform, it had the potential of being a great exterior but it was desolate and boring to look at as there was really nothing there prior, something that Masaki and Yuzu annoyed themselves severly over, so the two had Ichigo order up a garden.
In order to build it the platform had to be reconstructed, first Ichigo used his powers to stop the regenerative process of that section of the tower, then they utilized special equipment to cut themselves about three meters down before Ichigo redesigned the regenerative sections of the tower, though the garden did not regenerate like the tower itself did as it was not considered a part of it, so it had to be manually repaired if damaged.
The garden wasn't completely finished as there was still more work to do but it was halted as winter was approaching as it was the decorative plants and decorative trees that needed to be planted, so far the plant decorations had been placed for storage in a viable environment at the research division.
But they did fill the hole with dirt of the variant topsoil after they had placed water supply lines and attached them to ensure that the decoration had plenty of neutrition and didn't just die out as that would have been a waste, they had packed the dirt tightly before they fertilized the earth using artificial fertilization, everyone agreed that at this rate the grass would grow naturally when the season for it arrived and quickly too.
But whilst they had to hold the decoration of plants and trees, they had built a walkway aswell as fountains and a massive pool that was shaped as a lake that could function as a self cleaning swimming pool with a gazebo near it and a place for grilling, giving it a natural look despite being a pool and adding to the beauty aswell as some fun and everything else that wasn't plant based, the walkway was built utilizing the finest of stone to pave the walkway, which made up the entire walkway system, making the walkway look quite pretty as the stone was of two colors, namely purple and yellow.
Of course the two spikes that was attached to the tower was to be kept, and they were not to be touched at any costs so the workers dragged up the floor around it without touching the spikes at all, the reason they were to be kept was fairly simple as they served several important purposes.
Originally during Yhwach's reign when the Wandenreich and the Soul Society was one, the two spikes served as catalysts to ensure that the Wandenreich was kept hidden in the shadows, of course as the Wandenreich became it's own world that purpose vanished, so the spikes were repurposed to assist with controlling the schatten and to ensure that the connection between the worlds were stable if the schatten were connected.
They also served as the main source of secret military communications with a different and highly encrypted frequency, meaning that the signals transmitted were different then the average signals and thus more difficult to notice, and far more difficult to hack into using magic or technology, this allowed for the royal family to have discreet calls or secret messages transmitted inside the Wandenreich and outside it.
Additionally they also served as backup systems for the Silbern defence system, which controlled troop movements, automated defence weapons, gate controls and everything needed to defend the city and the castle.
The castle was after all the entire tower whilst the palace was the top residence on the tower which was essentially part of the castle, which was the place where the royal family resided after all, regardless it was easy to see why these spikes were not to be touched or damaged in anyway as they were very important, and to ensure the safety of the spikes, one way barriers were constantly placed around them.
Underneath the spikes were a small plaza, there wasn't much inside it as it could potentially be used to place equipment in case of a system malfunction in one of the spikes should they ever need repair, or equipment for maintainance on the spikes or maintanance on the garden using gardening equipment as it could be used for that, it was easier on the gardeners when they would be hired or the engineers should maintainance be needed, so they built the plaza with them in thought to make their life atleast a bit easier, and with the spikes as marks, it was easy to find it as the spikes were very large.
The garden surrounded the entire top palace as it was built around it, and it would give the top palace more color and a very beautiful garden, Bambietta had mentioned to Ichigo that her sister, Sabrina looked forwards to the garden as she was asking if they would get a swimming pool despite winter approaching, causing Bambietta to tell her about the artificial lake, much to Sabrina's joy, causing her to just one hour later, turn up in Bambietta's office naked and wanting to take a bath... With minus degrees and frost outside and the fact that Sabrina actually never learned to swim.
But for Sabrina's sake aswell as any other that might want to have a bit of fun, Ichigo did order for a playground close to the pool made out of sand, Sabrina could play in it or you could play volleyball there, it was quite big so, and seeing as the garden was huge, it only took a small portion of it in comparison, Ichigo had also ordered the area to have a swingset and other fun properties that Sabrina could use along with other kids should she have friends over or nobles came to visit with their families, this way their kids wouldn't be bored either.
Despite Bambietta's shock of seeing a naked Sabrina, and Sabrina's disappointment over that winter was approaching, she and everyone else was counting down days until summer, with Karin and Yuzu promising to show up to swim in the pool when summer closed in, despite Ichigo not saying anything, revealing to him very early that they were actually very eager to try it out, much to his amusement so he said he was welcome to come to Silbern at any time they wanted.
Of course the fun thing is, Ichigo did order a lake to be put there for the sake of appearance, but he never actually ordered the pool, he only found out about that about a day after it was ordered, causing him to look at the documents that converted the lake into a pool with the appearance of a lake, where he found three signatures, namely Bambietta's, Masaki's, and something called the S.W.I.
Now Ichigo knew about Bambietta and Masaki but what the hell was the S.W.I? After a three minute investigation, Ichigo quickly realized that S.W.I stood for Shinigami Womens Association, this caused Ichigo's attention to be shot right at a certain werecat named Yoruichi who had influenced Bambietta and Masaki as she was the only one capable of that, and to top it off, that wasn't all they had ordered, as they had placed the order for a bounceboard that was permanently placed there aswell, of course Ichigo let the pool stay, but he'd be damned if he'd have a permanent bounceboard placed at his lake to destroy the natural beauty of it.
But instead of removing the order, Ichigo modified the order for a bounceboard that could be attached to the pool and removed when not in use instead, as it didn't destroy the natural beauty and a bounceboard did sound like fun, this way he got a bounceboard to play with during summer and to keep the natural beauty of the pool that looked like a lake.
Of course when Ichigo thought about it, that wasn't the only run in he had with the S.W.I as a certain incident occured at one time, Ichigo was to enter his office he noticed a bunch of females inside there when he entered, eating cookies and just relaxing, leaving Ichigo to wonder what the hell was going on, of course they tried to kick Ichigo out of his own office as they claimed that the S.W.I had booked it for the day.
Naturally Ichigo didn't have that, so he had the meeting moved for them in a place that he booked for them for the rest of the day, it was a very neat place to be to relax as there wasn't really much sound or anything at all, namely the beautiful meeting place, namely the fabulous and dark one time meeting cell in the Silbern dungeons, this even resulted in Soi-fon being able to join in, now isn't that nice? Isn't Ichigo very thoughtful?
But despite all these changed to the exterior top of the tower, it was still fairly brown around it as no grass had grown yet, but when the plants will be planted, there will be trees, flower gardens with a variety of flowers and colors, neat small hedges along the walk way to the fountain with flowers in them, certain tunnels made out of hedges and all that.
Needless to say, after hearing about how the garden would look, Ichigo became very eager for it's finish as he really wanted to see it, if anything it was a welcomed change in his life as a monarch, as this could potentially give him some peace of mind by walking across the garden or just working outside on busy days while admiring the natural beauty of it, it would without a doubt be very refreshing.
Ichigo and the group went to the plaza beneath the two spikes as that was the place where Ichigo had decided to try and open a passage way to this unknown place where no one had ever set foot before, though Ichigo was slightly annoyed by the eager sounds coming from behind him, which was caused by two overecstatic scientists who sounded like they had an orgasm for some reason or another.
Of course they weren't the only ones eager, as there were several more scientists from the research division eager to check this new world out, after all it wasn't an every day occurance that you encountered a world with different rules and laws of physics, and it was hiding in plain sight all along, if anything this was the dream of any scientists, but of course soldiers from the K.G aswell as some paladins and H.E.C.D soldiers accompanied them, but everyone was sworn to secrecy as this was deemed top secret for obvious reasons.
They couldn't have such items or such a world revealed to everyone, atleast not just yet. The paladins were there for a specific purpose, namely to place a barrier around the area if something goes horribly wrong, and the royal guardsmen were there to provide safety and security, and in case something came out of it that was completely unexpected, of course Ichigo was definitely powerful enough to take on any opponent by himself at this point, of course this world was just speculation right now and no one knew for certain if it truly existed, what it looked like or if micheal was just joking, but why he would joke about something like this was unknown however, regardless it was worth checking out.
And now was the moment of truth, Ichigo accumulated reishi and created a door frame before merging it with his own reiatsu, then he manifested the longsword and pointed it at the edge of the frame before looking Kisuke and Erwig, Kisuke and Erwig looked at the frame, then at Ichigo, and then the frame.
"If there is something like a fake world of this empire then spacetime would crack like glass the moment you fill your zanpakuto with your aspect of destruction and stab it, as it is currently unable to regenerate, if there isn't anything there then nothing should happen, if there is something there then you can cut open a gateway with force." Kisuke said as he studied the frame.
"Alright." Ichigo replied as he focused on the frame.
Ichigo put up Zangetsu and held it by both hands while pointing it at the frame, he then took up his stance where he placed his right foot behind him to stabilize him and held the left foot steady against the ground, he then plunged Zangetsu right into the mid-left area of the frame.
*Crack*
Much to everyones surprise it really was something there, but nothing came out and it didn't seem to unleash anything harmful, if anything it was just a crack in spacetime where a blade entered the frame and didn't come out on the other side of it, almost like a weird illusion, regardless Ichigo looked at Kisuke who assumed that since nothing had happened yet, it was probably safe to continue, albeit slowly, something Kisuke, Erwig and Ichigo had agreed on prior as there was no telling what could happen at this point.
Ichigo slowly sliced downwards for a few centimeters as the crack became visible, revealing barely visible purple and blue light, Erwig was quick to move to the crack with a measurement device to check if anything harmful or poisonous was coming out of it, after all this was something entirely new and has never happened in the history of existance before, so there was no harm in being careful.
The reading was quickly finished and the reading showed that it was just the standard mixture of air coming out of it, but it did give off an alert on unnatural reishi readings, if anything these readings were like Erwig and Kisuke had never seen before and was entirely new, and they had no idea where it came from, however the device readings showed that it was nothing dangerous, if anything it was standard reishi with an unnatural mixture of something else that evidently wasn't harmful, regardless the research division already had research materials by that alone, so Kisuke took a device to suck the air into a special vial for further research later.
Seeing there was no danger Ichigo cut open the rest of the frame until it resembled a doorless frame, leaving Ichigo and his party rather stunned by the small view they saw, this prompted them to enter it slowly, until another wave of surprise hit them as they did not expect what they just saw.
East Soul Society (Takakanai Village)
***Meanwhile***
The paratroopers had initated their assault, reports from the beaches stated that the three landing beaches had been secured and supplies were being dropped off and ground reinforcements were enroute, however it would take hours for their reinforcements to arrive and they needed this village secured before they arrived, the female B company retrieved had been left at headquarters for now until she could be extracted out of there by the landing forces when they arrived.
Much to their surprise the Dominion wasn't alone, as this time they spotted what appeared to be soldiers wearing different uniforms in gray, additionally the Dominion flag was spotted on a building with another one, although the second flag was more conventional and less artistic then the Dominion flag, as it was three horizontal lines with three colors, namely red on top, purple in the middle, and light blue on the bottom, in the middle of the purple was a crown with a single sword underneath it.
The uniforms of the new soldiers was more world war one like and resembled the Austrian world war one uniform with caps, and they also carried the same weaponry as the Dominion, leaving some of the Quincy officers to ponder whether they were responsible for the new Dominion weaponry or whether it really was Dominion made.
If information served correctly, Inoue did mentioned them to Ichigo and the O.D.K, as they belonged to one of the Dominion's allies, also known as the Kingdom of Gotha, evidently their alliance goes by some kind of blood relations with Gabrin though how far out was unknown, but what was known was that they did possess an army, but lacked captain level fighters and have evidently never had them, which was a weakness in and of itself, but despite possessing an army, it wasn't as big as the Quincy army and numbered about 400.000 regulars, and about 900.000 in reserve, compared to the 74.9 million strong army of the Wandenreich at the current time, so the difference was massive.
The fact also remained that the Wandenreich also possessed a far larger industrial capability as the Wandenreich had an advantage there due to the Quincies natural ability to utilize reishi and form items using crosses or technology as a replacement, so in a war of attrition Gotha would lose big time, and that was a fact as they were essentially outnumbered.
Though when the paratroopers reported it earlier as an advanced scouting party had been sent to check out visible defences or any potential changes, Silbern and eastern command shouldn't really have been that surprised when they redirected scanners from the infested forest to verify, as Inoue had reported that the Dominion was strecthed very thin already as they had just too many fronts open, although the Dominion attempted to solve this problem with forced conscription, but the fact remained that it was just a matter of time before the Wandenreich got to greet some of the Dominion allies.
The reason they were surprised was because Inoue had reported that Gabrin was a proud monarch, too proud as a matter of fact, he would never willingly go to an ally and ask for help due to the fact that he has a firm belief in Dominion supremacy, which means that either someone has gone behind his back or someone has begged him call in his allies.
Not that it really matter anyways, as this was essentially first contact between the Wandenreich and Gotha which was clearly a hostile nation, despite that Gotha had already been on the Wandenreich's invade list for some time already after Inoue's report on Dominion allies, whether they had joined in on the war or not had little to no meaning for Silbern as Silbern had already made plans to take Gotha by pure military force without opening diplomatic channels due to their alliance with the Dominion.
But for them to be so nice as to deploy troops in the Soul Society was nothing else but a blessing in disguise for the Wandenreich, for Gotha wasn't the only one on the list of nations to invade, but for Gotha, this served as a rather convenient excuse as there would be no doubt that Ichigo would use this battle to justify an invasion of Gotha on the grounds that they had already entered the war when they invade the mirror world.
Several companies were already on the outskirts of the village as they prepared to assault it, but there was a problem, as this battle would be different then the others, in the Seireitei they managed to evacuate a lot of people from combat zones, and in Hueco Mundo and the battles they fought in the world of the living was abundant of souls and those who was living, although the living would be unable to see the Quincies as they were in spiritual form, they would still be in danger if they approached a spiritual warzone.
But Takakanai village was still brimling with civilians and wasn't evacuated, although the Wandenreich and the Gotei had already assumed as such, these civilians were already in the middle of a warzone, and just minutes away from finding themselves in a battlefield with four armies and two factions clashing towards each other, namely the Onmitsukido, Quincy paratroopers, Gotha and Dominion forces, all being parts of their respective alliances.
Men and women were working or doing what they were usually doing, some children were happily playing, although the Rukongai conditions did seem to exist to a certain extent, but it didn't seem like they starved, so either they had a lot of food availeble or they didn't possess powers at all, though it was probably the latter as the Quincies didn't feel much power at all from the village that was similar to that of a soul which could become a Shinigami.
Regardless the Quincies decided to advance, causing them to crouch forwards as they had been lying in the grass for sometime, B company was located at the right with the road leading to landing beach A, they advanced to a set of two story buildings, of course this caused them to be spotted as a wooden window frame went down, revealing a crystal MG that fired upon them, shooting down several Quincies rapidly as they fell towards the ground either dead or injured.
This forced B company to jump down for cover before attempting to return fire, but they had assumed as such in advance, they didn't know whether it was Dominion or Gotha troops that fired upon them, not that it really mattered anyways, as pretty soon they'd be minced meat anyways.
The paratroopers didn't possess any heavy weaponry, but they did possess air support, the wingmen were already flying over the clouds and the maps on their HUD on the helmet visors showed the position of Quincy radio operators which companies marked up, so the radio operator in B called in an airstrike to take out the crystal MG.
The radio operator guided the wingman inwards towards the correct building, using the radio as the wingman had already appeared from the sky, the moment the first strike was called it would signal the rest of the wingmen to strike targets of opportunity as they would all eventually descend from the clouds, mostly using strafing runs with their Ginrei Kojaku bows that their bracelets manifested for them.
The Quincies would try to avoid civilian casualties as the civilians here were essentially citizens of the east branch, of course central 46 and the Gotei had recognized that civilian casualties was unavoidable so civilians deaths were permitted, although the Quincies were prohibited from intentionally targeting them, accidents, air strikes, artillery and licht regen strikes aswell as other uncontrolled strikes were overlooked, although they were permitted to kill fullbring civilians as they were viewed as the enemy.
The wingman came down at rapid speed as he manifested an explosive ball by using one of the crosses attached to the bracelet on his left arm before it detached, leaving the ball to fall downwards towards the building until it hit, causing a large explosion that made the building collapse and debris flew just about anywhere, the shockwave also damaged some nearby buildings aswell.
The rest of the wingmen flew down shortly after, preparing their bows for the strafing runs they were about to conduct, they could utilize the heilig pfeil which was a single arrow that they could fire rapidly, or they could use barrage fire which was weaker but was essentially an area of effect attack.
With the emplacement taken out, B company could once again move.
Fake Wandenreich (Silbern)
With the H.E.C.D and the paladins would be left behind on standby as they weren't really needed as Ichigo and his party entered this new world.
Ichigo and his party were stunned beyond words at what they saw, no one truly understanding whether to be intrigued or shocked at the sight in front of them, they knew they were still in Silbern but yet they weren't, this world was like never seen before, if anything it left countless questions unanswered, as this world was really broken beyond recognition, if anything it was more of a world combined with a unique void, they had climbed down from the tower and was on the castle grounds at this point as you could create reishi platforms in this world, though Masaki and Isshin was left on top of the tower as they decided to enjoy the view of the sky.
The sky was purple and blue, lines of reishi and gasses were seen moving in the sky with an irregular movement, odd cloud formations that didn't move at all and kept their shape, some sky markings with odd appearances was also present, some markings even resembled that of bacteria cells, and there was a blue glowing sun with a purple circle around it.
But that wasn't really the odd part, because when they looked down, they were standing on Silbern castle, which was oddly enough shaped out of stone with a brownish color, and the castle was more of a mountain then it was an actual castle as there clearly wasn't any rooms in the castle, no doors were visible where they were supposed to be or anything, but then again this wasn't even the most shocking part.
Because the most shocking part came when they looked out across what was Silbern city... Or rather where it was supposed to be, the fact that the city itself is missing is fine, that was partially suspected, but they atleast expected some sort of ground there, which for some reason was replaced by absolutely nothing except a massive void with a bunch of asteroids floating around.
The world was so odd, that when you looked up, you saw the unique sky, when you looked to the sides, you saw the sky and a bunch of asteroids at various heights, if you looked down over the edge of the castle grounds, you saw a bunch of asteroid, and believe it or not, you actually still saw the sky, yes the sky where the ground, the grass, the dirt was supposed to be.
On the asteroids were several crystals emitting extreme amounts of power with a variety of colors from: blue, red, yellow and green, each with their own power signature depending on the color.
Surprisingly the world did have breathable air and gusts of wind, but no one knew where it actually came from, and it did possess water on some of the asteroids aswell as the tower asteroid in the form of a slightly blue liquid which Kisuke analyzed, which was essentially normal water combined with liquified reishi and other unknown properties that he wanted to investigate, regardless it was adviced to avoid drinking it as it might be dangerous.
Another question was that if you jumped, it was almost like being on the moon, you floated up naturally for a few moments before falling down, which begged the question, how were these asteroids still in the sky? The wind said that they were floating aimlessly in the sky, so the asteroids themselves didn't really fall, but despite that there was still gravity, something that didn't make any sense whatsoever, additionally odd sounds followed by an echo was also heard in this world, though no one knew what or where it came from.
In other words, the world was completely broken far beyond repair, or as the military says, FUBAR, Fucked Up Beyond Any Repair/Recognition, Erwig had ordered someone to get a measurement device meant for extreme distances, a device capable of measuring the size between entire galaxies in the world of the living, and he took a distance measurement.
"A sideways eight?..." Erwig said in disbelief.
"Really?" Kisuke asked.
"So it's an endless void?" Ichigo asked.
"Looks like it, if you fall down and are unable to create a platform, it is actually a very real chance of falling infinitely without ever hitting anything, even if you die you might actually keep falling for eternity in this world considering the state of it." Erwig said, eagerly wanting answers.
"That sounds like a very unpleasant and long trip so let's avoid that." Ichigo said as he focused on the asteroids.
Erwig had then turned his attention to one of the nearby crystals, they didn't appear harmful but they were brimling with extraordinary power, and they didn't know what kind of power the crystals contained so it was research speciments that the research division really looked forwards to researching.
Their attention was brought away from the world when a scream was heard along with odd noises, it came from a female scientist who had panicked, causing Ichigo and Kisuke and the K.G members who noticed it to, not run but flash to the source, wondering what the hell was going on, then they noticed something that stunned them even more as this was not only disgusting but also surprising.
They had found another source of this special water, and close to it was five living creatures never seen before, and needless to say, they were disgusting! The creatures had a body that split into three sections, the first one was the head, which was very round and contained a lot of eyes and a mouth, the mid section was attached through the neck and had two arms attached to it with three fingers, before connecting with another next to the rear part where a single leg with three fingers were located similar to the front one.
Kisuke quickly counted the eyes three times to verify, accompanied by Erwig who had just arrived, both very intrigued by this, and they were in agreement with the count, as they counted an astonishing fifty eyes in total on the head, yes fifty, like 50, with five large eyes probably being the main eyes and was shaped in a row.
It was an entirely new species that was unknown to the world, they didn't have any pelt but rather tan like skin that seemed loose, and they seemed to enjoy the water, even drinking from it, though Kisuke concluded that the creatures actually used the water as a source of nutrition, as it was quickly evident that these creature really did have trouble walking and actually used their three arms to drag themselves.
They weren't aggressive or anything, and Kisuke wanted to check them out rather quickly as they were an entirely new species, Erwig assumed that their bodies were weak by nature, and for that reason was actually unable to survive in the environment of the real Wandenreich due to the principle of survival of the fittest, but despite that they seemed to have a decent amount of reiatsu, most likely due to the pool they were in, but whether they possessed any abilities remained a question.
But after Kisuke did some tests like moving his fingers in front of their eyes, or when he took out a coin and used his thumb to flip it into the air towards the creature, leaving it to land right in front of it, the creature actually reacted, it was clear that it had some animalistic traits so they were animals despite their unique nature, but despite having a weak body, their minds seemed to be strong and intelligent, as was proven when the creature tried to copy Kisuke's actions, having some form of understanding of it.
It even tried to send the coin back in the same manner but due to the lack of long fingers it was unable to do so properly, causing it to take the coin again and look at it, leaving Kisuke, Ichigo, Erwig, the scientists and some guards to study it's actions while the creature itself studied the coin, and while it did make sounds, it was unable to communicate or talk, that much was clear.
Kisuke just looked at it as it attempted to replicate the actions only to fail, but much to Kisuke's amusement, it found other ways to cope, in short, it adapted to it's lack of strength and finger length and instead used it's palm to throw it up while dragging it's hand backwards, causing the coin to flip into the air, much to Kisuke's surprise as it had quickly adapted, leaving Kisuke to catch the coin and doing the same again, and the creature repeated it's actions and used the coin to play with Kisuke and actually seemed to find it fun.
"Looks to have extreme adaptibility, clearly far more intelligent then the average animal, but lacks physical prowess, in the wild this animal would already had gotten extinct from the looks of it." Erwig concluded.
"Agreed, but how is it able to survive with such a frail body even here? From the looks of it, this body by it's very nature shouldn't even be alive?" Kisuke asked curiously as he studied it.
"Not sure, I don't see any organs that depict gender so how does it even reproduce?" Erwig asked.
"So many questions, so little answers." Kisuke concluded.
"What should we do with it your majesty?" Erwig asked as he looked at Ichigo.
"Hmm... Well I assume we can-*thump* hmm?" Ichigo said as he heard the sound, aswell as some reactions from the K.G, causing him to look behind him confused.
The K.G had reacted to the scientists of the research division collapsing, though Kisuke and Erwig were still awake along with the K.G and Ichigo, this caused Ichigo, Erwig and Kisuke to run to the collapsed scientists in a hurry, wondering what was going on.
They tried to check if there was a pulse and any signs of life, which there clearly was, leaving them to wonder what just happened, this prompted Kisuke to use a Kido spell to check out their bodies and he was left mildly surprised for a brief moment with what he found, as the traces of their reiatsu level, which was low as they weren't fighters, was being disrupted.
Kisuke and Erwig quickly realized that they had somehow gotten acute reishi poisoning, now reishi poisoning is to a certain extent the same as radiation poisoning, and just like radiation poisoning, in comes in stages, although reishi poisoning is treatable as long as it doesn't reach it's last stage, compared to radiation poisoning that usually leads to cancer or a painful death.
Reishi poisoning was described as this, corrupted reishi or hazardous reishi would enter the body, then it will go into the soul well where all reiatsu is stored and corrupt the reiatsu, this causes the reiatsu to leak away from the soul well but not out of the body, as it will leak into the tissue, organs and cells, however as it's not uncommon for reiatsu to be inside the said parts, it can store up to a certain amount, but once that amount is exceeded, that's when the problem occurs.
The poisonous reishi remains around the soul well until it is removed, continously poisoning the soul well and the reiatsu, and due to the disappearance of reiatsu the soul chain automatically believes that you used some, causing it to produce even more, only for that to be corrupted aswell, causing the soul chain to produce even more to fill the gap and so it continues until it is treated or you die.
The treatment for reishi poisoning is actually very simple, as it follows the oil and sand principle to a large extent and to some extent the methanol and ethanol principle to some extent, the treatment goes as follows.
1: The patient gets injected with an equal amount of pure and dense reishi directly into the soul well, dense reishi is not easily corruptable and can be used to stop the poisoning of the reiatsu as it keeps the poisonous reishi in check for a prolonged period of time for up to a period of 10 days, just like ethanol and methanol, ethanol being alcohol, can cause alcohol poisoning, you can fix it by giving an equal amount of methanol, methanol can also make you sober by balancing methanol and ethanol, and the opposite is true, so if you experience methanol poisoning, then go get the vodka!
2: The patient gets injected with Agalsicelex Exeposide, which is injected through a IV bags directly into the blood stream, Agalsicelex Exeposide contains 80% liquified reishi, 15% Neodenu Oxycion and 5% seki-seki ore that was melted down and liquified.
3: Keep the patient under surveillance in case of any side effects of the medication.
Neodenu Oxycion, now that's a new name, it is essentially a spiritual mineral that has been liquified, Neodenu Oxycion is a liquid that is known to cause unexpected reactions where you'd least expect it, in some cases even becoming volatile if combined with the wrong liquid or mineral, Neodenu Oxycion was only recently discovered purely by accident by some scientists in the research division.
Coratelite, it was a stone that was fairly common in both the Wandenreich and both branches of the Soul Society that looked like a normal rock, but it was never found to be of any use, until recently, as the stone itself has no spiritual properties like seki-seki, so no one looked twice at it and all research on it was deemed useless, resulting in no one trying to melt it down, which turns it into Neodenu Oxycion.
As the stone has an extremly high melting temperature then normal stones, usually stone melts at 1500 degrees celsius but Coratelite has a melting point of 1970 degrees, and once it has melted it turns to liquid and won't turn back into a stone unless it has been frozen at a minus 100 degrees celsius or lower.
Whilst Coratelite does not have any useful properties in mineral form, it is very useful in liquid form, as reishi in energy form does not react to much unless reishi directly though there are some few and very rare exceptions, those very extremly few and far between, liquified reishi however that is a different story, as liquified reishi is energy taken physical form and is prone to reactions as a result, sprenger is a fine example of that as the seele schneiders react to liquified reishi but not to reishi in energy form, causing a chain reaction in the center.
And since Quincies are the only ones capable of naturally liquifying reishi, though there are exceptions as technology can be used as artificial methods, the ability to liquify reishi naturally belongs to the Quincies, anyways, Neodenu Oxycion causes liquified reishi to function as a magnet for reishi and reiatsu, causing it to drag it against it, where the seki-seki then later absorbs it, effectively removing the problem.
Neodenu Oxycion when combined with seki-seki also stops seki-seki from absorbing liquified reishi, or rather prohibits it from doing so, which was the reason why liquified reishi was used where it normally would have been unusable had it not been for the Neodenu Oxycion.
Additionally, Neodenu Oxycion also had an effect on the soul, tissue, organs and cells aswell inside the body, as it strengthened it to a certain degree, allowing the body to sustain the treatment, although it didn't have much of an effect in combat, it was useful as medicine.
How the Gotei's R&D had not noticed this sooner was a good question as the material was pretty common, surprisingly it was Kisuke that investigated Coratelite when he founded the R&D, but he quickly lost interest as he didn't find anything with it, something Kisuke regretted now as his interest in Neodenu Oxycion had severly increased after noticing it's positive side effects, as it could have been turned to medicine long ago.
Until recently, the usual treatment for reishi poisoning was usually treatment through Kido if it wasn't severe, if it was severe then the 4th division would do anything to allow the patient to die as painlessly as possible, so Agalsicelex Exeposide was a brand new medicine, a miracle inspired by two accidents, the first one was the discovery of Neodenu Oxycion, the second was actually the Tol Reus incident where the explosion had damaged the research labs, some labs which dangerous reishi was experimented on, causing leaks, again causing three workers to be severly poisoned to the level where they would die.
It was actually Kisuke who had made the calculations on the Agalsicelex Exeposide medicine at that time in a rush to attempt to see if it can save the three workers, whether it was out of his own guilt or not in regards to abandoning the research was unknown, for he knew it would have made a difference for many, but it was a suspicion Erwig had as he had a guilty look when he noticed that the medicine worked, but was happy that the workers were saved.
It was hard to blame him though, as Agalsicelex Exeposide also worked on people who suffered from reiatsu poisoning, something that can be the effect of a diseases, spiritual viruses or other underlying conditions where the reiatsu itself causes damage to the body for no apparent reason, perhaps he thought that if he didn't abandon the research then it would have made a difference for many? Maybe he could have found some subsitute to liquified reishi? It was hard to tell.
The patient would also urinate out the medicine, as it was all liquified and the body would eventually get rid of it because of that just like every other liquid, so it wasn't harmful to the body at all, though some side effects have been noted as the lack of reiatsu caused severe weakness in the body, headaches, nausea and so on, regardless the health department and the research division managed to pressure Uryu and Bambietta into giving the medicine a green light, allowing hospitals to get the medicine and use it as a treatment across the empire.
As the west branch followed similar spiritually in terms of their abilities, Agalsicelex Exeposide also had a positive effect on them, causing the west branch to attempt to buy it after the Wandenreich publicly announced the new medicine after extensive research to verify that it was safe to use, the Wandenreich refused the purchase and requested a trade instead, they get the Agalsicelex Exeposide whilst the Wandenreich gets some other medicine they lacked, an agreement that saved both parties money, believe it or not, and was accepted.
The symptoms of reishi poisoning varied, and could sometimes be similar to other underlying illnesses, but the symptoms always manifested themselves in a negative manner, the most common one being weakness and trouble utilizing reiatsu and abilities effectively.
Regardless Ichigo, Kisuke, Erwig and a few guards grabbed the collapsed scientists and began to rush upwards towards the top of the fake tower, and since they rushed it didn't take long for them to get to the top.
Of course as they rushed up they were quickly noticed by Isshin and Masaki who stood there along with some K.G guards aswell as by the H.E.C.D and the paladins who stood outside and noticed from the other side, causing them to spurl into actions, paladins capable of it was ready for healing and the H.E.C.D was ready to assist.
But, when the H.E.C.D units entered the world, the device on their vests began to blink and beep on all H.E.C.D that entered, getting the attention of almost everyone, causing them to follow protocol, they put on their hazmat masks and ensured their suits were properly sealed before checking the device, which gave off an alert on the reishi itself, which gave proof that it was indeed reishi poisoning.
Of course the hazmat combat suits the H.E.C.D utilized were made to withstand it to ensure that the user was not exposed to toxins or other dangerous environments as it was vital that their suits were capable of seperating the outside environment and prohibiting it from entering the inside of the suit, as the H.E.C.D, or the Hazardous Environment Combat Division that was the military wing of the research division, was a unit that specialized in combat in all kinds of hazardous environments where going without hazmat gear was pretty much suicidal, so the fact that their suits worked was vital for them as their job was very risky and extremly dangerous, and they did not want to die a brutal death because of a leak in their suits.
Of course despite being called a combat division, and the H.E.C.D specialized in combat in hazardous environments, that wasn't the only job they had, they also worked with and around hazardous objects and inside hazardous rooms at times, aswell as their jobs also included: Removing hazardous materials, cleaning hazardous rooms and buildings, hazard checks, handling and destruction of hazardous materials, search and rescue in hazardous environments and so on, in short everything that was a hazardous environment or material was their job and jurisdiction.
In short, it's the job people expect you to retire early from due to cancer or loss of skin or other serious diseases caused by hazardous materials, although safety was their number on concern due to the nature of the job and that was just a word as not one member in the H.E.C.D has ever been exposed to hazardous objects, funnily enough, it was usually the H.E.C.D that pulled out reckless scientists exposed to hazardous materials, so if you do the counting, the H.E.C.D is at zero exposures whilst the scientists is at a total of 18, of course 16 were accidents, the last two was recklessness and carelessness, luckily no scientist has died... Yet... Alright then 19 if you count this mishap.
Whilst the H.E.C.D put on their equipment, Ichigo and his family was immediately evacuated by the K.G alongside Kisuke and Erwig, the scientists would be extracted by the H.E.C.D and the paladins quickly moved back to allow the H.E.C.D to take care of the scientists.
Kisuke and Erwig had no idea why their devices never told them that it was a hazardous environment to begin with, only to realize that the reishi corrected itself once it hit the real Wandenreich and the poison vanished, and since no reading was taken on the reishi itself after they had entered, they never noticed, despite protocol saying that they should have.
Erwig and Kisuke did not have any hazmat alert systems with them like the H.E.C.D does which is another reason why this went undiscovered until it was too late, regardless it did end well, as the scientists got urgent medical need in the infirmary, as the infirmary was equipped to deal with all kinds of situations, and it was the main hospital area for the royal family aswell, so they needed to be well equipped.
Ichigo was partially immune to poisonous reishi due to his instant regeneration, but it would have affected him severly and incapacitated him, making him unable to make decisions and rule effectively, but he was immune to the final outcome, so he was unable to die of it, as this wasn't a disease caused by viruses or bacteria but rather corrupted reishi itself, so he along with Isshin and Masaki had to be immediately checked out, and they were given some medication and healing to remove the small trace of corrupted reishi.
Of course this meant that Ichigo's power levels would decrease for about a total of ten minutes as the dosage they got was a needle with 15mg Agalsicelex Exeposide, but that wasn't anything concerning but he was vulnerable at the time and fairly weak due to the medication, so even Ichigo despite being a primordial god needed to wear a hazmat suit when entering the fake Wandenreich.
But no one died and no one was in any critical condition and that was all that mattered, as for Ichigo's current weakness, it was decided to keep quiet about it as it was just ten minutes after all.
As for the paratroopers, their efforts to take Takakanai village was harder then imagined, they did manage to get the first half but the fullbringers moved their artillery outside the village during the assault, resulting in them getting bombarded from the outside for a while until the wingmen bombed the area after back tracing the rays.
And despite their heavy air support, they almost ended up in a 2 hour stalemate in the center of the village, but they did manage to take the village at a great cost as both sides suffered extreme casualties, rendering the 5th regiment being nearly considered combat ineffective due to the high casualties as the situation was, regardless they were committed to keeping the village until reinforcements arrived, had it not been for the air support the capture of Takakanai village would have failed with the annihilation of 5th regiment.
Naturally this forced the wingmen to prioritize recon and air assaults on any fullbring forces nearby, as eastern command now feared that the 5th regiment would be unable to hold out a counterattack, and this confirmed the belief of a counter attack as the fullbringers was mobilizing, but the air assaults should have slowed them down, the reinforcements were ordered to hurry to Takakanai village at all costs due to the dire situation, until then the eastern command and the O.D.K was monitoring the situation and hoping that it would end well for them.
