She isn't ready to use those words, the ones he said to her many months ago, cradling her broken body.
She can't say it but she sure can show it. Show him how much she needs him, more than a partner. More than a friend.

Prompt: After saving his butt during the Slaughter/drug gang show down Ryan and Esposito drag Castle into an interrogation room to figure out what the hell is going on. What neither of them know is that while the spilling of the guts is going on Kate is on the other side of the glass.
A/N: So, we've now come to the end of this little series. As I've said before, I do think there could definitely be more to this storyline. I am tempted to make a longer one-shot out of it because I wouldn't mind exploring it more and seeing how it ends myself! :D
