"Now, come on kiddos," she tries, and fails, to sound calm and in control. "Okay, honestly, darling, stop drawing on the wall!" Martha manages to wrest the pen from Lily's grasp, much to her dismay.
She turns to find the twins, Jake and Reece, in a wrestling match on the floor. Rolling around, ramming into anything and everything.
It's a mess.
"Everyone, enough!" she shouts.
The three children snap to attention, faces showing an innocence defying the state of the room they're currently occupying.
She stares at them, sighing in defeat, her energy now depleted. "I'm gonna need a drink."
