Season 5: Beginning of the Invasion
Episode 21 (82): Take the Fight to Chrysalis
Season 5 Finale:
The Steam Team were still following the trail of bodies that Sunset left behind. And as they're traversing through the halls, more changelings (15 changelings & 4 brutes) started appearing and surrounded the Steam Team.
James: What the, how the heck is there still more changelings.
Rebecca: Remember what Edward said, they might be strictly stationed in the castle.
Edward: Nice observation Rebecca, but in order to get to Thomas, we need to fight through them.
Gordon: Well, what are we waiting for, let's get fighting!
So the Steam Team charged at the changelings, ready to fight them. They decided not to use their beam attacks so that they don't want to damage the castle. Nia used her Bo staff to whack two changelings that came too close to her, but as more pour in, she transitioned to her whip, wrapping one changeling up and throwing it across the hall, before a brute head-butts Nia and sends her skidding down the hall. She then used her magic to bring out her sword as the two clashed. While they fought, three changelings were flying towards her, but she used her horn to bring out her bow and fire three explosive arrows at them, which sent them crashing to the ground. A sun beam was fired at the changelings, sending them flying into a different hallway, Nia turned to see Rebecca aiding her.
Nia: Thanks Rebecca.
Rebecca: No problem Nia.
Two brutes charged towards Rebecca and that's when she brought out her spear and blocked their charge. And she brought them back, as she begins fighting them, with twirling his spear and hitting them with the blade, the brutes could barely touch her. But the down changelings just got back up and are ready to fight. As more pour in, a blue blur was speeding down, knocking every single changeling. Gordon was using his speed to plow through five changelings and using his hammer in the process, along with James using his skate to do some kick attacks and swinging his ax at three bugs.
James: Keep at it Gordon, we need to push through these disgusting creeps in order to get to Thomas.
Gordon: Right behind you James, no matter what it takes, we'll never give up!
At another hallway, three changelings were getting blasted by Percy and Edward by their wrist blasters.
Percy: I still don't understand how there's this many changelings in the castle after we took out the entire changeling army.
Edward: She probably saved these as reserves, but these are more relentless. Percy, behind you!
Percy: Got it.
Percy teleported and started firing at the three changelings as well as teleported in and out as well as helping Edward out. Emily was using her hooves to manifest her explosive Shurikens as she threw them at six changelings to which explode sending them back, and even using her sword to defend herself against any flying ones along with Toby firing wood shards at three.
Emily: Thanks for the assist Toby.
Toby: No problem, let's hope it's enough.
Henry: It should be, we need to be here for Thomas, no matter what!
Henry hoof-kicked one brute and slammed his front hooves on the ground as roots came out of the ground and wrapped three changelings and slammed them into each other, sending them falling to the ground unconscious.
Edward: We don't have much time, more will be coming after us, we need to go to the throne room, find Thomas and stop Chrysalis for good.
Gordon, James, Rebecca, Henry, Percy, Toby, Emily & Nia: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
They continue their race to help Thomas stop Chrysalis. Meanwhile in the throne room, two horns clashed as Thomas and Chrysalis are dueling. They leapt back and fired their beams at each other as they collide. Their energies mesh together and explode sending them back. Chrysalis rolled across the ground towards the thrones and Thomas was slammed against the door and fallen to the ground. Thomas got up from that impact, as he shook his head, he saw Chrysalis about to pounce him, but he rolled across the ground to avoid her attack. He went forward and slammed Chrysalis against the door, along with him throwing Chrysalis at a stone pillar which didn't crumble. Chrysalis then got out just in time before Thomas sent a golden orb towards her which explodes the base of the pillar and crumbled.
Queen Chrysalis: (Chuckles) That's right Thomas, let loose your emotions, I'll only get me stronger.
Thomas: (Breathes heavily) No, you don't control me, I control myself!
Chrysalis growled and fired neon green energy beams at Thomas, but he dodged every single one. And Sunset is cheering her love on.
Sunset Shimmer: Yes! Go Thomas! Go!
Chrysalis then used his horn to create a sword construct, and Thomas brought out his sword with his magic, as they charge at each other again and weapons clashed.
Queen Chrysalis: You're certainly becoming quite annoying, you little brat. But no matter, once I'm done with you Thomas, I'll take the pleasure in killing you.
Thomas: (Grunts) I'll have to pass on that offer, but it's time for you to feel my true power!
He did a backflip and a kick which hit her in the lower jaw and sent her crashing back to the ground. Chrysalis looked to seeing Thomas generate two gold orbs from his hooves and throw them at Chrysalis. But she teleported just in time before they explode in the ground. He looked to see her use her magic to levitate chunks of rock from the damaged pillar and throw them at him, but he generated a shield to protect himself when she threw those chunks at him which obliterated upon contact. She then fired a neon green beam from her horn and that's when Thomas shot golden beams from his eyes. The beams collided and explode, sending Chrysalis crashing into the roof of the throne room and crashed down into the ground, while Thomas is sent back and crashed through a pillar as he landed on the ground. He panted as he tried to get up.
Thomas: She's too much, (Panting) how am I gonna defeat her?
Then he remembered Lady's words to him.
Thomas: No, I can't back down. Equestria, Canterlot and Sodor are all counting on me. I must keep fighting, I will fight to protect my friends, and I will do it to the bitter end.
Chrysalis got up and see Thomas, still standing.
Queen Chrysalis: Still standing, no matter, I'll make sure you die a slow and painful death.
She charged towards Thomas, but Thomas is ready, his body glows a gold aura as well as his eyes glowing gold, and slammed his front hooves in the ground, cracks appeared as it goes to Chrysalis and blasted a golden wave at her, but she dodged it.
Queen Chrysalis: Did you really think that will stop me puffball, you've got another thing coming!
She charges again as her horn generated a sword construct prepared to deliver the killing blow.
Sunset Shimmer: Thomas!
Sunset cried out for Thomas to watch out, that's when Thomas did something incredible as he channeled his Gold Dust power to his foreleg.
Thomas: In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might beware my power, Gold Dust light!
Just before her sword construct made contact with Thomas' head, with such speed, Thomas' wrist blade comes out deflecting her strike, surprising Chrysalis and the changelings. Chrysalis' eyes widened after seeing Thomas' wrist blade.
Changeling General: What?!
Changeling Brute #1: How is that possible!
Queen Chrysalis: Since when can an alicorn or any pony for that matter possess this kind of magic!
Thomas: (Grunts) There's more to me than meets the eye Chrysalis!
Thomas pushed back Chrysalis with his wrist blade as they continue fighting, from behind the doors, the rest of the Steam Team were also fighting the changelings as they show they never give up. With another clash, Thomas and Chrysalis clashed blades. (Thomas with the sword & Chrysalis with her blade construct from her horn)
Thomas: We will never give up and we never surrender, we'll continue to push through until we complete our mission. We work as a team, help each other and work together. Till all….
Edward, Gordon, James, Rebecca, Henry, Percy, Toby, Emily & Nia: Are one! Are one! Are one! Are one! Are one! Are one! Are one!
Suddenly, Thomas, Gordon, Emily, Nia & Rebecca's element started glowing and envelops them.
Queen Chrysalis: What is this?!
Sunset Shimmer: Wow.
Back at the resistance, the five princesses could sense the new elements' energy rising.
Princess Luna: Something up Celestia.
Princess Celestia: Yes, it's the Steam Team's new elements, they're glowing.
Princess Cadence: Why they're glowing?
Lady: With every battle, their power slowly grows, they're about to earn their secondary powers. But they need to run one more gauntlet, they need to show they earn their second powers.
Princess Twilight: What do we do to help them?
Princess Luna: Unfortunately, we don't interfere when they start their spirit quests, we could only say our words of wisdom to help them.
Princess Celestia: Then let's venture into the spirit realm.
They took off and use their magic to travel to the spirit realm. Then, we're transported to a large mountain shrouded in a snowstorm, this is Mt. Everhoof, Rebecca (human form) is climbing up the mountain, trying not to get whipped up from the storm. Once she got up to a flat part of the mountain, she looks around as the wind blows through her dress and hair. She then realized she's in her human form.
Rebecca: Whoa, how am I back in my human form, and where am I? (Shivers) Oh, I would've give for a winter coat from Rarity. Oh, I have an idea.
She starts glowing, since she has sun powers, the heat helped warm her up.
Rebecca: Ahh, much better. Now to figure out how I get back.
Midnight Sparkle: Oh, I don't think you'll be leaving at all!
Rebecca looked over and saw coming from the tip of the mountain is Midnight Sparkle as she hovered down.
Rebecca: Oh, I would've give for my wings right now.
Midnight Sparkle: Fancy meeting you here in all places, on top of a mountain. Surely you'll freeze in a matter of seconds.
Rebecca: I don't freeze so easily, what are you even doing here Midnight Sparkle, we destroyed you.
Midnight Sparkle: You did, but you know I can never be destroyed whenever I'm linked to the Dark Dimension, I'll always come back! And this time, I'll have my revenge!
She fired a beam of magic at Rebecca, but she jumped out of the way and fired a sun beam at Midnight, which hits her but isn't knocked to the ground. Rebecca brought out her spear.
Rebecca: We destroyed you once, we can do it again.
Midnight Sparkle: Oh, I beg to differ.
She fired another beam until Rebecca twirls her spear and deflects her blast as it exploded a rock spire. Midnight fired two beams and Rebecca deflected them back at her to which she whipped her shield to protect her.
Rebecca: Sorry Midnight, but you're about to be frostbite when I'm done with you.
Midnight Sparkle: (Chuckles) I'll believe you'll be the one getting the cold shoulder.
She used her magic on her spear and with her telekinesis and one movement, sent Rebecca flying across as she crashes into a rock spire and tumbles to the ground. Midnight chuckled as she used her telekinesis to lift up large rocks and throw them at Rebecca. She tried her best to dodge them, but one hit her and sent her crashing to the ground. Midnight hovered down to see her getting up.
Midnight Sparkle: (Chuckles evilly) What's the matter, running a little hypothermia are you.
Rebecca: (Panting) No, but I won't let a snowstorm take me out!
She fired sun orbs at Midnight, to which she generated her shield and deflected them.
Rebecca: (Thoughts) She's too good when she's in the air, if only I can clip her wings. I know.
She grabbed her spear and threw it as it spun like a propeller.
Midnight Sparkle: (Chuckles evilly) You missed.
Rebecca: Did I?
Midnight is confused until Rebecca's spear came back and slashed her wings. She screamed in pain as she landed on her knees, and Rebecca's spear came back to her.
Rebecca: Looks like I've got the advantage here.
Midnight Sparkle: Oh, I don't think so!
She brought her hand out as Rebecca is covered in a purple aura, as she threw Rebecca into a rocky wall, then to the floor and threw her across as she tumbled to the ground toward the edge of the mountain as snow falls. As she tried to get up, Midnight put her foot on her stomach.
Midnight Sparkle: (Laughs evilly) I told you, you can never defeat me. No matter how hard you try, you'll always come up short. I wish the rest of your friends were here, so that I'll exterminate them as well.
Rebecca: You wouldn't.
Midnight Sparkle: I will, starting with you. (Laughs evilly)
Her hand started powering up with her magic, Rebecca tried to figure out someway but couldn't figure out what.
Rebecca: (Thoughts) Oh, what to do, what to do. I can't reach my spear, what else I can do, and I'm too tired to use my powers.
Princess Twilight: (Thoughts) Don't give up Rebecca.
Rebecca: Huh?
In Rebecca's mind, Princess Twilight emerged.
Rebecca: Princess Twilight.
Princess Twilight: Hello Rebecca.
Rebecca: What are you doing here, and where am I?
Princess Twilight: You're in the spirit realm, and the reason you're here is because of your element.
Rebecca: You serious, so am I dead?
Princess Twilight: (Chuckles) No, no, I'm just in your mind. I can see that you're fighting Midnight Sparkle.
Rebecca: Yes, she's tough, especially in one-on-one. I've tried my hardest to try to take her down, I managed to get her wings out of the picture, but she's much too powerful.
Princess Twilight: Here's what I know from my experiences, like my fight with Tirek. Even though he has all the magic of Equestria at his hands, that doesn't make them invincible, you got to keep the pressure on no matter what you are, whether you're at you're lowest or at your highest. You always strive to show the more powerful, that even the underdog can beat the big brute. I'm sure you can show Midnight Sparkle that you don't wanna be pushed around.
Rebecca: You're right Twilight, thank you so much.
Princess Twilight: My pleasure Rebecca, now go back out there, defeat Midnight and complete your journey.
Everything is enveloped in light, until it went back to normal. Rebecca looked at Midnight still pinning her and she looked at the edge of the mountain wall. Suddenly, she senses her element pulsing and glowing, meaning she's gotten her second power.
Rebecca: (Thoughts) Twilight's right, I may be an underdog, but I can still show that I'm no slouch.
Midnight Sparkle: (Laughs evilly) Are you ready to die today Rebecca, cause when I'm through with you, the rest of the Steam Team will be all ashes.
Rebecca: Not this time, not now, not ever!
She suddenly let out a sonic scream that sent Midnight crashing into the mountain wall. Rebecca got up and looked at her element.
Rebecca: Whoa, did I just do that. That's incredible!
Midnight Sparkle: (Groans) Since when did you gain the ability of a sonic screaming.
Rebecca: Let's just say I've been holding onto this, for some time.
She fired another of her sonic screams at Midnight, she covered her ears as she screamed in pain, unbeknownst to her, Rebecca grabbed her spear and charged at her. Midnight shook her head to gain her sense, until she sees Rebecca charging in and plunged the spear blade into her eye. She screamed in pain as purple light shone right out of her body as she poofs in purple smoke. The spear dropped and stuck itself to the ground. Rebecca dropped to her knees and panted knowing she did it.
Rebecca: (Panting) Phew, that was rough.
Princess Twilight: Congratulations Rebecca, you've passed your test.
Rebecca: Wait, this is all a test.
Princess Twilight: Indeed, it is, the Elements sense your full potential and brought you here as a test, to see if you're worthy of becoming more powerful to help save, not just Canterlot or Equestria, but your home Sodor as well.
Rebecca: Wow, I couldn't believe it. So, I've completed my test and got this upgrade.
Princess Twilight: Indeed, with your new power, you've truly earn our respect as Equestria's next protector, when the rest of your friends finish their tests, the rest of Equestria will reward you greatly.
Rebecca: Thank you Twilight. I wonder how the others are doing.
In another spirit quest, it was a peaceful forest in the fall, mossy logs dotted parts of the forest, followed by boulders, along with a peaceful river flowing down. Emily was walking down the forest trail.
Emily: Either I'm dreaming or I'm not in Sodor anymore. Well, Sodor does have forests in the fall, but can't imagine me walking in one. I'll admit it is nice once you get to enjoy its beauty.
Adagio Dazzle: (Chuckles) The beauty you'll be seeing my friend, is the sound of your impending demise.
Coming out from behind a tree, is the lead siren, Adagio Dazzle.
Emily: Whoa, normally I'll be amazed and astonished, along with complimenting on your hairstyle, but that looks like you overdid it a little too much.
Adagio Dazzle: Now is that anyway to treat the girl you're supposed to adore to.
Emily: Adore to? Listen woman, I don't even know who you are, so don't try any flattery ideas, it'll get you nowhere.
Adagio Dazzle: (Growls) Well you seem to be totally clueless on the fact that I was the one that ended that blue puffball's life.
Emily: What did you say?!
Adagio Dazzle: You heard me right Emily, I Adagio Dazzle, leader of the Dazzlings, have ruthlessly ended that puffball's life, who was it again, oh yeah Thomas.
Emily: So you're the one that killed my friend, let me tell you something Adagio, (pulls out her sword) nobody messes with my friends and gets away with it.
Adagio Dazzle: (Chuckles, pulls out her sword) I'm so gonna look forward to this moment.
Emily: Yeah, keep dreaming hottie.
Adagio growled as they readied their swords, they circled each other ready for combat. They charged at each other and clashed as they begin their sword fight. Their conflict continued for a minute, until they clashed blades and meet face-to-face.
Adagio Dazzle: I should've known you were one of Thomas' lapdogs, but you will be the next to fall.
Emily: Just try and pull a sly one, Adagio, cause you're not getting it!
She pushed Adagio back and kicked her in the stomach which she crashed into a log.
Adagio Dazzle: (Groans) Cheap shot.
Emily: Learnt a thing or two from my teachers, you should do the same.
Adagio Dazzle: Pff, I don't need no teacher to finish you.
Emily: Then you should also know that I'm avenging Thomas, and it'll start with me killing you!
She charged again but Adagio dodged her sword strike, and unveiled her Tanto as she charged again, ready to fight Emily. Their swords clashed as their sword battle resumes, sparks fly as blades clashed and Emily is trying her best to keep fighting, but Adagio kicked her into a rock. Adagio prepared another strike but Emily blocked her two swords.
Adagio Dazzle: You know, you're the weakest one out of the entire Steam Team, I'll look forward to exterminating you.
Emily: Who say I'm the weakest link.
She kneed her in the stomach, then did an uppercut to Adagio's chin, then punched the side of her face with her fist and kicked her into a river. Emily walked over to the river as Adagio tried getting up from taking that beating.
Emily: Am I a weakling to you now.
Adagio Dazzle: (Groans, growls) Now you've just made me mad.
She sent out her soundwaves at Emily, which hit her and sent her crashing into a tree. Adagio emerged from the river and looked at Emily.
Adagio Dazzle: (Chuckles) Looks like I outrank you more times than none.
Emily: News flash siren, but there's a lot more you don't know about me, specifically this!
She generated and threw her explosive Shurikens at Adagio, which she dodged away as they struck the ground.
Adagio Dazzle: (Laughs) Is that it, simple Shurikens, my you are certainly not as bright as the rest of your pathetic friends.
Emily: Oh really, you don't know a thing about me, plus I'll make you pay for all the trouble you've caused us in the past.
Adagio looked at the Shurikens until they exploded sending Adagio tumbling across the ground. Adagio growled and screamed another shriek at Emily, but she dodged it and charged with her katana, and the same for Adagio. They continue their sword fighting until Emily grabbed Adagio's hair. The girls are locked in a girl brawl, with almost no end. But Adagio grabbed her and threw her across the ground until she hit a tree. Emily groaned from the hits she gained until Adagio pointed her swords at her throat.
Adagio Dazzle: (Panting) You young lady, is certainly becoming a bigger pain in the ass for too long now. Now, when I'm through with you, I'm gonna enjoy killing you, watching you die a slow and painful death, and once you're dead, I'm gonna find the rest of your loser friends, and slaughter them all one by one, and you'll watch them die, especially Thomas!
That tipped Emily really bad as she kicks Adagio in the stomach, pushing her back. She stood up and breathed heavily, she's mad, really mad.
Emily: Now you've made me mad, and not in a good way.
Princess Cadence: (Thoughts) Don't let your anger get to you.
Emily: What?
In Emily's mind, Princess Cadence emerged.
Emily: Princess Cadence.
Princess Cadence: Hello Emily.
Emily: What is this place?
Princess Cadence: You're in the spirit realm, a test if you will, and don't worry, you're not dead. But this is your spirit quest that you must complete. And that's all due to your element.
Emily: So that's why I'm transported into this weird place, but why am I here exactly.
Princess Cadence: I'm here to give you some advice, it's about your anger.
Emily: What's wrong with my anger?
Princess Cadence: Not trying to sound harsh Emily, but the way your expressing your anger on the battlefield, it's overriding your logic and leaving you with this ultimatum, taking out Adagio as your personal agenda.
Emily: But that Adagio is one enemy that needs to be stopped, she killed one of my closest friends ever since I'm on Sodor, and I'm not about to let that happen.
Princess Cadence: I understand Emily, but let me tell you this, yes you want revenge because Adagio killed your closest friend. But revenge doesn't get you nowhere, it'll only get worse in the future. You have wonderful friends Emily, and you'll do anything to make sure they're safe, but letting this revenge crave get to you, it won't get you anywhere. You let your friends carry you to the battlefield, not revenge. And with the fire of teamwork, compassion and determination, you'll go far Emily.
Emily: You're right, I understand. Thanks Cadence, without you, I'll never get this anger side of me out.
Princess Cadence: You're welcome Emily, now go back out there and complete your quest, the fate of Equestria is in your hands.
Everything is enveloped in light, until it went back to normal. Emily looked and saw Adagio twirling her swords, ready to strike down at Emily. Suddenly, she senses her element pulsing and glowing, meaning she's gotten her second power.
Emily: (Thoughts) Cadence's right, I can't let my anger get the best of me, if I'm going to complete this test, I need to be calm.
Adagio Dazzle: (Chuckles evilly) So, are you ready to admit defeat Emily, or are you ready for another beating.
Emily: No, I'm here to make sure my mind stays cool and refreshed, maybe you should take a lesson or two from that.
She brought her hand out as it sparkles in emerald green, until it shot out green ice spikes to which Adagio jumped out of the way.
Emily: Whoa, how did I do that?
Adagio Dazzle: It looks like ice made of emerald, since when did you get ice powers.
Emily: Ice powers? (Thoughts) So that's why my element is blinking, I've must've unlocked my full potential. (Back to reality) I think it's time for you to be froze over.
She fired her ice powers at Adagio but she fired her soundwaves to break the ice apart. She charges towards her with her swords out, until Emily fired more ice freezing the swords along with her arms.
Adagio Dazzle: What hey!
Emily: Sorry about this, but frankly, I have enough of your swordplay as of this moment, but right now, it's time to finish this.
Adagio Dazzle: (Chuckles) Looks like you forgot one more asset on my sleeve.
She was about to unleash her soundwave, but Emily froze her mouth shut.
Emily: Not this time, I've been having ear pains from your music, now it's time to end this!
She ran towards her in blinding speed, and with one sword swing, she sliced Adagio in half, as she poofed away in orange smoke. Emily looked over and saw the orange smoke.
Emily: So she's not real, Cadence is right, it was a test, and I think I just passed.
Princess Cadence: You did, well done Emily.
Emily: And I've learned something else as well, while she might've test my patience, but I've learned to not let my anger get the better of me.
Princess Cadence: Very good Emily, while sometimes anger can benefit you in a fight, you shouldn't overuse it too much or it might lead you astray.
Emily: Yes, I know, but still I know of this. The Dazzlings are out for blood, and since they nearly killed Thomas, I vow to not let that happen.
Princess Cadence: I know, you have a personal score with the Dazzlings for nearly killing your friend and I respect that. But remember my words, it might come in handy.
Emily: Thank you Cadence, for everything. I wonder how the others are doing.
In another spirit quest, it was a bustling Knapford Station with incoming trains and people moving in and out of the station. Gordon arrived and walked through the platform, though some people bump him about.
Gordon: Ugh, this is just disgraceful, I'm supposed to be the grand express engine of all of Sodor, not a mere passenger. Of course this is something interesting to be a human in Sodor, but this is getting a little ridiculous.
Class 40: (Laughs)
Gordon: What?
Gordon looked around after hearing that laughter.
Gordon: Where are you, you miserable excuse of a diesel.
Class 40: Why the sudden anger, no wonder I'm pitted against you, you'll be worth no challenge.
Suddenly, people were screaming and running, Gordon looked to see Class 40 lifting a freight car full of coal up over his head.
Class 40: (Laughs) Well, hello Gordy.
Gordon: Bowler, you've caused trouble to our railway for too long now, now it's time for your crimes to end.
Class 40: (Chuckles) We'll see about that, catch.
Gordon see the truck heading towards the people, that's when he reacted and used his speed to get the people out of the way before the trucks crashes onto the platform.
Gordon: Get to safety now!
The humans responded and ran, not before disappearing.
Gordon: What in tarnation, huh?
He looked up and see that the supposed "people" are imitations, as they watch the fight. They were saying "Go Gordon" as they cheer for him.
Gordon: So, the humans in this are merely holograms, spectators in this gladiatorial arena. So this must be my spirit quest, show this pompous twit that you don't mess with the Sudrians, I'll gladly accept.
Class 40: (Laughs) This should be interesting, I'm gonna enjoy pounding you to dust.
Gordon: (Pulls out his hammer) Not before I pound you first.
Bowler and Gordon charged at each other and slammed both fist and hammer at the same time which creates a shockwave and shatters the windows of the station. The two were rapid punching each other until one punch in the gut sent Class 40 crashing into a cargo van, Gordon was running towards him as he was about to get up, but Gordon punched him which sent him crashing through every car in the train until he burst out of the brakevan. Bowler is angry and grabbed the remains of the brakevan and swing it at Gordon, which hit him as he impacts the platform.
Class 40: I'm gonna enjoy breaking you to pulp, and you'll see that diesels will rule.
Gordon: Not in my entire lifetime.
They charged and started fighting again, Class 40 is trying to hammer Gordon with hits, but he blocks them with his arms and hands along with his hammer. But that's when Bowler blocked the hammerhead with his hand.
Class 40: This charade ends here.
He grabbed the hammer and started twirling with Gordon on it, and threw him at the station wall, which he burst right through. Gordon groaned trying to get up, until Class 40 came up and grabbed him by the throat.
Class 40: (Chuckles) This is almost too easy, you're so easily stubborn that it almost seems too simple to take you down. But I digress, where's the fun in letting you live.
He threw him at the entrance which he burst out and landed on the tracks, Gordon groaned from the hits as he tries to get up, Class 40 could only watch him struggle.
Class 40: (Chuckles) Had enough my friend.
Gordon: (Groans) You haven't won yet villain.
Gordon used his super speed to get him out of there, Class 40 glared at him.
Class 40: Ugh, I always hated his speed.
Gordon panted after the beat down he had, but thanks to his speed, his healing has accelerated, so he's back in fighting condition.
Gordon: (Panting) I had enough of this guy, time to end this!
He sped towards Bowler, he looked to see Gordon deliver a punch to the side of his face which sent him crashing and tumbling across the platform.
Gordon: Sorry Bowler, this time it ends here, and I will end your reign of terror for good.
Class 40: (Chuckles) Oh Gordy, Gordy, your stubbornness will always get you nowhere.
He did a flip kick and the kick landed in his jaw which sent him falling down. Class 40 smiled and grabbed his hammer.
Class 40: Oh, it's heavier than I pictured it, anyway, this should prove to be your undoing. Time to smash you to be pieces.
Gordon: (Thoughts) What's going on with me, I should've beaten him.
Princess Luna: Your brashness is blinding you.
Gordon: Huh.
In Gordon's mind, Princess Luna appeared.
Gordon: Princess Luna.
Princess Luna: Indeed, I'm here to help you Gordon.
Gordon: To assist me?
Princess Luna: Not exactly, but I am here to give you some advice, your stubbornness is distracting you from the fight.
Gordon: What do you mean by that.
Princess Luna: Not trying to sound abrupt Gordon, but your stubbornness is affecting your ability to fight, leaving you open to his attacks. I know you always go by the book and want to get things done, but sometimes being brash, stubborn and not thinking things through, can lead you to much bigger problems.
Gordon: I see, I've been going by my own stubbornness, and its lead me to being wide open to attacks. So, all I need is to be more strategic and anticipate their attacks without rushing it.
Princess Luna: Indeed, Gordon, being relaxed, calm minded and know when your opponent attacks and anticipate them at the right moment, we'll give you the opening you need to land the killing blow.
Gordon: Thank you Luna, I know what I must do.
Everything is enveloped in light, until it went back to normal. Gordon look to see Bowler about to smash him with his hammer. If he's going to achieve a victory, he needs to anticipate his strike. Suddenly, he senses his element pulsing and glowing, meaning he's gotten his second power.
Gordon: (Thoughts) Focus Gordon, focus. Anticipate his strikes and be smart about it.
Class 40: It's time for you Gordon to enter "Splatsville"! (Chuckles)
Gordon: Oh, I don't think so Bowler.
As he swung his hammer, Gordon brought his fist out and made contact with his hammerhead, that's when it happened, a massive shockwave generated shaking the building, crumbling a few parts and sending Bowler flying back without the hammer. Gordon used his speed to get his hammer back.
Gordon: I'll have my hammer back thank you very much.
Class 40: Ugh, what just hit me. No!
Gordon: That's right Class 40 or should I say Bowler, you are about to enter Splatsville!
He charged over to him, leapt up and with a mighty swing, slammed the hammer onto Class 40 and with a mighty poof, he disappeared in dark green smoke.
Gordon: What?! Bowler isn't real. So this was a test, and what was that seismic slam I just pulled off.
Princess Luna: That was your new power, the ability to generate shockwaves from your fists and your feet. With that ability alone, you'll be able to take down most of your enemies.
Gordon: Incredible, but what's the deal with….
Princess Luna: (Chuckles) I happen to recall you saying that it was your test.
Gordon: (Blushes) Oh yeah.
Princess Luna: (Chuckles) Well, I can assure you Gordon, that you succeeded. But remember my words carefully Gordon, even if your brash and stubborn in certain situations, you need to have a clear mind, think things through and learn to strategize, that way you'll be able to take almost anything on without much difficulty.
Gordon: Thank you Princess Luna, and I promise you, I will learn to be less stubborn. I wonder what the others are up to.
In another spirit quest, Nia is on a flat section of the mountain slope with a few trees and pointy rocks. It was windy a little bit as she looked around the mountain which gave an eerie feel to it.
Nia: Eesh, this place is really creepy, but how the heck am I here, when I'm fighting the changelings back at Canterlot.
Then, she heard a very familiar creepy whistle, she tensed up and looked around her surroundings. She then heard creepy chuckling, which she knew who it is.
Timothy: (Chuckles) Well, well, what do we have here?
Nia: Timothy, I know you here, so show yourself.
Timothy: Why would I do that; it'll ruin the surprise.
Then, out of nowhere, an explosion happened, and Nia jumped to the side to get out of the way, she landed as dust and small rocks fly. Emerging from the mountain, was the infamous, terrifying demon of Sodor, Timothy. He opened his red eyes and grinned a toothy smile.
Timothy: Ahh, now that's better, being imprisoned in that mountain was awful, felt like I was entombed. (Chuckles) Nia, so nice to see you again.
Nia: Oh, I wish you were gone from our heads, just hearing you brings me chills.
Timothy: (Laughs) How amusing, but I'll let you be the first to be destroyed, before I take my revenge on Thomas!
He brought his hand out and fired a stream of fire at Nia but she cartwheeled away from his attack. She then whipped out her whip, threw it and it ensnared Timothy's leg.
Nia: Time for you to come down.
She thrusted forward with Timothy in tow as she threw him into the ground. She whips back her whip, and pulled out her Bo staff. Timothy shook off the blow, and looked back and saw Nia lunging at him with her Bo.
Timothy: Oh, I don't think so.
He teleported before her Bo made contact. She looked around to try to find him, only for her to hear the creepy whistle and Timothy's evil laughter.
Timothy: (Laughs) Do you think you have the slightest chance of taking me down. From Gordon, Percy, Henry and Thomas, you don't have the advantage and I'll personally see to it that you live to see it happen!
Timothy appeared again and fired a column of flames at Nia, she then started running away from the flames, as she used her acrobatic skills to go through the branches and up the rock ledges.
Timothy: You can run, but you can't hide from me.
Nia: I'm not trying to hide; I just need a good vantage point.
She fired an arrow into Timothy's shoulder, he cried out in pain and he growled at her. He broke half of the arrow and slide the other half out, even if his shoulder.
Timothy: You are starting to get on my nerves woman, this time I'll make sure you're burnt to a crisp, until your ash.
He sent out his biggest column of flames at Nia, but she leaps across different ledges and fired a rope arrow as it hooked a tree, she used her bow as a zip line as she zip-lined towards the ground. Timothy saw this and sent a fireball at the rope which made sliced it in half and sent Nia plummeting to the ground as she rolled across.
Timothy: (Chuckles) Such a shame really, I could crush you with my bare demon hands, but I'll make your death swift and painless.
Nia: No way Timothy, I'll make sure you're out of our memories for good.
She pulled out her Bo staff as she begins fighting Timothy by trying to hit with her Bo. But Timothy is dodging her strikes until he grabbed the end of her Bo.
Timothy: (Laughs) Foolish girl, did you really think you can take me out with a wooden stick! Either that, or you're just playing the fool.
He threw her with her staff into a tree, which disarmed her Bo, and the only thing she has left is her sword.
Timothy: You simply don't learn, do you steamie. I'm unstoppable, and I'm the superior of the E2 Class, once I'm back to full strength, I will take great pride in finishing the rest of you Steam Team, and then I'll have my revenge on Thomas.
Nia: No, I won't allow it, your days of haunting us end here Timothy.
Timothy: And what are you gonna do about it.
Nia: I'm gonna fight my way, and finish you!
She brought out her sword as she tries slashing him, but he was too agile.
Timothy: Please, you can do better than that.
As she's swinging her sword, he caught the blade in his hand, even if it cut him.
Timothy: Ow, when do you have a sword this sharp.
Nia: Wouldn't you like to know.
Timothy: But ultimately futile.
He threw her into the mountain side, which disarmed her sword. Timothy approached her and grabbed her throat and pinned her to the side of the mountain.
Timothy: (Chuckles) I'll admit, your persistent, annoying but persistent, you know when I first came to your world when I possessed Thomas, I was thinking of sparing you and Rebecca since I don't recall you two being with the Steam Team, but I still have my goal to eliminate all the Steam Team and especially Thomas. But I digress, when I'm done with you, I'm one step closer to getting my revenge once and for all! (Laughs evilly)
Nia tried to break free from his grip, but he's too strong. Timothy smirked as he generated a fireball.
Nia: (Thoughts, grunts) He's too strong, I'm not strong enough to take him on. I've failed my friends and I failed Thomas.
Lady: Nia, your friends are counting on you.
Nia: What?
In Nia's mind, Lady appeared.
Nia: Lady.
Lady: Hello Nia, it has been awhile.
Nia: Where am I, one minute I'm fighting Timothy, the next I'm here.
Lady: You're not hallucinating Nia, this is real, you're in the spirit realm. And I've come to give you some advice.
Nia: Advice?
Lady: Yes, I've seen that you were fighting Timothy, the dreaded demon of Sodor and while you've put up a good fight, your weapons' attacks aren't powerful enough to take him down.
Nia: Yeah I noticed, I'm skilled with my weapons, and my sword is almost my saving grace, but it's just not strong enough to take out someone this powerful like Timothy, while the rest of my friends have powers, I don't. I'm the weakest of the team.
Lady: Don't say that, none of your friends say that you're the weakest of the team and so is the rest of the engines on Sodor. Even if you say your weak, you'll soon see that you might be proven wrong. I sense great potential Nia; you just need to learn to let that set in.
Nia: Are you sure, I've been part of their team for some time, and I'm still relatively new in some situations, what if I can't live up to their expectations.
Lady: Then you try harder, perseverance, determination and a will to fight on, you will then conquer those challenges and meet their requirements. I have faith in you Nia, now go back out there, fight your way to the top and have faith in yourself.
Nia: Thank you Lady.
Lady: You're welcome Nia, and may the Sodor & Canterlot guards watch over you.
Everything is enveloped in light, until it went back to normal. Nia looked around and still see Timothy with the fireball in his hand. Suddenly, she senses her element pulsing and glowing, meaning she's gotten her second power.
Nia: (Thoughts) Lady's right, I need to have faith in myself, I need to keep fighting if I'm gonna protect my friends.
Timothy: (Laughs evilly) So Nia, ready to die tonight.
Nia: Not tonight, and I'll make sure you are defeated.
She kicked Timothy in the crotch, he went wide-eyed and groaned as he backed away cowering in pain. Nia walked over to him as she stood a few feet from him.
Timothy: (Groans, growls) That was a cheap shot missy, nobody does this to Timothy.
Nia: Well, wouldn't like a guy to assault a woman like that.
Timothy: You're gonna regret that.
Nia: Oh, I don't think so.
Then, her hands glowed and manifested two crossbows.
Nia: Whoa, crossbows, how did I...
Timothy: Nia, distracted much. (Chuckles)
He fired some fireballs at her, and she swiftly dodged them and that's when she fired three arrows at once, they hit Timothy and exploded which sent him crashing through a tree. Timothy groaned from the impact as he slowly got up.
Timothy: How are you able to do that?
Nia: I just got to have faith.
She fired more arrows from her crossbows, but Timothy dodged it and fired another column of flames, which Nia also dodged and grabbed her sword. This time her hand glowed and it powered up her sword, and as she swings, a bigger slash wave was generated and hit Timothy and sent him tumbling across the ground.
Nia: Whoa, my sword is much more powerful than it was before. I guess by touching them, it gives them more power.
Timothy growled and fired more fireballs, but Nia dodged it and charged towards him, while dodging more fireballs. She leapt over him and pressed her bow against Timothy's neck, attempting to strangle him.
Timothy: Gah, get off me, you little runt!
Nia: No way, I'm gonna complete this mission and return back to my friends, and you can't stop me.
Nia exerted all her strength to try and choke Timothy, he's trying his hardest to shake Nia off of her, but she wouldn't budge. They're at this for a while, until Timothy is getting weaker and weaker from Nia not letting him breathe. Finally, after for an hour, Timothy dropped to his knees, before saying these final words as he fell and poofed away.
Timothy: I'll always come back steamie.
Nia landed on the ground as she looked around, seeing there's no sign of Timothy. She soon found her weapon sash, put her sword in the holster, along with her Bo, then clipped her bow next to it, put her arrows in a separate bag, and her waistband has a pistol grip suited for her crossbows. She grabbed her weapon sash and put in on her.
Nia: (Sighs) It's always nice when you have the job done.
Lady: Congratulations Nia, you've passed your test. You've managed to get by your uselessness and learn to know that you're more than meets the eye.
Nia: Thanks Lady, without your words of wisdom, I could've come this far.
Lady: It's my pleasure Nia, but other challenges will push you to your limits, tougher fights, more evil villains and hardships to follow, but I know that you and the Steam Team will prevail in your future.
Nia: We won't let you down Lady, and neither will my friends fail.
Lady: That's the spirit Nia.
Nia: I wonder how my friends are doing.
In the last spirit quest, Thomas fell to the ground and looked around, it was Canterlot castle, but something felt off about it. He looked out the window and saw thunderclouds shooting purple lightning. He was in his pony form.
Thomas: This is so not Canterlot castle, there shouldn't even be thunderclouds shooting down purple lightning, someone has to be behind this, but who?
Diesel 10: Thomas, the tank engine, or should I say, future prince of Equestria?
Thomas: Oh no, not him.
He looked at the throne, and walking from behind it, emerged the tyrannical and terrifying Diesel 10.
Diesel 10: (Chuckles evilly) So nice to see you again Thomas, it has been a long time.
Thomas: I rather see you still stuck in prison where you won't bother us ever again.
Diesel 10: Oh, I'm hurt, I thought you would appreciate the fact that I'm back. But I see now that you've come all this way to fight me.
Thomas: You know it Diesel 10, you'll never have the power to take over all the dimensions from Equestria and of Sodor, and I'll make sure you never succeed and you won't win.
Diesel 10: (Chuckles) I like to see you try. This will be our final battle.
He used his magic to create a broadsword construct around his horn, Thomas hardened his eyes until using his own magic to bring out his knight sword. Lightning dance around the night sky as their final battle is about to start. Diesel 10 leapt forward but Thomas anticipated this and blocked his sword strike with his defense.
Diesel 10: Sticking with your defense plays Thomas, how pitiful.
Thomas: That's what you think, but I have more power than you might think.
He swung his sword deflecting 10's sending him skidding across the ground. He smirked and charged again, as they continue their swordplay. They dueled with their swords for a while, as the lightning danced. Then, Diesel 10 powered up his hoof with dark magic, and fired it at Thomas. He tumbled across the floor, but he got up and skidded back with his sword anchoring him to the ground.
Diesel 10: (Chuckles) Do you like my dark magic.
Thomas: I don't know how you've gotten this much power, where did you learn how to control dark magic.
Diesel 10: During my time, locked up in that dungeon, I've found some books where it taught all the mystic arts, and that's when dark magic came around my interest. So, I dabbled in it during my prison sentence and I've increasingly gotten better at it. Now, my plan will come to fruition, all I need are powerful allies I can trust to take you down once and for all. And once that's done, my conquest will span from not just Equestria, but Canterlot and Sodor put together, now no one can stop me.
Thomas: Wrong, I'll stop you and I'll make sure your back in the slammer!
He powered up his hooves and fired a stream of gold dust at him, to which Diesel 10 dodged and fired another beam of dark magic from his hooves. Thomas flew up and dove towards him, and smashed his hooves against his side as it impacts the ground, creating a crater. But Diesel 10 emitted an energy pulse which sent Thomas flying through three castle pillars. Diesel 10 walked over to the wreckage, and sees Thomas using his wings. Just as he got a slab of rock off of him, he was then blasted by the side and sent him crashing into the wall, below the colored glass wall showing the three princesses.
Diesel 10: You know there's one aspect you hardly grasped in this bout, power. I have more power than you can ever imagine, and that power alone, will make me Equestria's rightful ruler!
Thomas: (Groans) That might be true, but my power is one thing you'll never have, and I'll have the power to defeat you once and for all! Time to finish this!
Thomas flew straight towards Diesel 10, which the result he crashed through another pillar and smashed into the wall, there he used his magic and threw him into the roof, he soon fell straight to the ground creating another crater. Thomas then flew up and charged his hooves creating golden orbs and threw them one after the other at Diesel 10 expelling dust and smoke all over the place. After the dust cleared, it showed a massive crater with Diesel 10 on the ground, battered but alive, thanks to his shield. Thomas lowered down to the ground panting heavily.
Diesel 10: (Chuckles evilly) My, my, what an excellent show of power, the sheer destruction, devastation and your raw aggression makes me all the more impressed.
What he doesn't know, is that a faint stream of purple is exuding from Thomas' eye, Thomas' anger is getting to him.
Thomas: You don't tell me, how I express my power! You've been a terror ever since you arrived on Sodor, trying to gain more power to dieselize the island, but I'll keep fighting until you're done!
Diesel 10: (Laughs) Bring it puffball!
Thomas fired gold beams from his eyes at him, but Diesel 10 still has his shield. Then, he fired dark magic beams at Thomas, to which he put up his shield. Diesel 10 charged at him with Pinchy ready to grab him, but Thomas shot out his wrist blade and brought it out, just as Pinchy clamped onto it. The two leaders, one good and one bad are at a stalemate.
Diesel 10: Well, this is interesting, never realized that you have a hidden weapon with you this whole time.
Thomas: What can I say, I'm full of surprises!
But Diesel 10 jerked Pinchy with Thomas in tow as he twirled around in a twister, and threw him into the princesses' throne. Thomas groaned from the many hits he's taking, when Diesel 10 walks up to him.
Diesel 10: (Chuckles) You fought valiantly, but it's ultimately fruitful, when I destroy you and the rest of your friends, especially Sunset Shimmer. And then, the world will be mine! (Laughs evilly)
He suddenly grew bigger and burst right out of the castle from the inside, lightning danced around the sky. Diesel 10 is now a giant as he laughed evilly.
Thomas: (Thoughts) He's too powerful, how can I fight him now. (Sighs) Some leader I am.
Princess Celestia: Thomas, you mustn't give up.
Thomas: Huh.
In Thomas' mind, Princess Celestia arrived.
Thomas: Princess Celestia.
Princess Celestia: Hello Thomas, it's been awhile.
Thomas: Yes, it has, under some precarious circumstances.
Princess Celestia: And you're wondering on why I'm here.
Thomas: Umm, maybe some assistance to help defeat this guy.
Princess Celestia: (Chuckles) Unfortunately, I can't interact with the spirit realm, but give some advice to help give you an advantage.
Thomas: Well, I honestly don't know what's going on, but Diesel 10 is just too powerful for me to take on alone, with my friends yes we could take him on, but he outclasses us singlehandedly. I'm just not sure on how my leadership is going places.
Princess Celestia: Well, let me give some helpful advice that'll help you in the future. Yes, your leadership may be tested, but you have your friends to back you up in the end. And they'll not stop supporting you, and you have their backs as well. They count on you to lead this team and you don't disappoint. Don't doubt your role as leader, you have a grand journey ahead of you. Sure, your leadership may be tested, but that won't stop you. You need to show people, ponies and engines alike that you are a capable leader through and through, and I have faith in you Thomas, can you do that.
Thomas: You betcha your highness, and you're right, I am a capable leader and I'll prove that I will not fall down the gutter and I'll climb my way to the top of the mountain. I'll show Diesel 10 that he wouldn't try to mess with me, and I will win.
Princess Celestia: That's the spirit Thomas, you can do this, my brave little engine.
Everything is enveloped in light, until it went back to normal. Thomas looked around and still see Diesel 10 as a giant, laughing. But Thomas knows that he must trust himself in order to defeat Diesel 10, he flew back to the floor. Suddenly, he senses his element pulsing and glowing, meaning he's gotten his second power.
Thomas: (Thoughts, Inhale & exhales) Okay Thomas, you can do this, just trust and believe in yourself, little engines can do big things!
Diesel 10: Well now Thomas, come to witness your demise!
Thomas: Not this time Diesel 10, because I'll be the one to end your reign of terror.
Diesel 10: So be it!
He powered up dark magic from his horn and fired it at Thomas. He reacted fast and brought his arm out, but something manifested on his arm, a circle object start appearing and had latched on his arm. The beam hit the object with Thomas still standing as he skidded across the ground. It was a circle shield with red, yellow and blue stripes and in the center is a large number one. Thomas opened his eyes and looked at what happened.
Thomas: What the?
Diesel 10: WHAT?!
Thomas: This is incredible.
Diesel 10: Die, you puffball!
He fired another beam to which it hit the shield, as he skidded back a little. But then he had an idea, he aimed the shield to deflect the beam as it hit Diesel 10, he cried out and this is the moment Thomas has. He powered up his horn to the max and fired it at Diesel 10's chest. He screamed as the beam pierced through his body and out at the back, that's when he poofed into a dark purple electric smoke. Thomas stopped the beam and collapsed to the ground exhausted.
Thomas: (Panting) I've never been this tired in all my life.
Princess Celestia: (Chuckles) Well now, looks like you have an exhausted fight.
Thomas: (Blushes) Umm, well, I guess you're on that.
Princess Celestia: No harm done Thomas, you've done well.
Thomas: Thanks, but to be honest, these fights ain't easy, but I don't let that stop me.
Princess Celestia: You're right Thomas, there will be tougher challenges ahead, but you and your friends along with Sunset, but I know you'll do great.
Thomas: I won't let you down Celestia, I won't let anyone else down, not on my watch.
Princess Celestia: I know you won't.
Then, she hugged Thomas. Thomas didn't know what to say, so he wrapped his hoof around her.
Princess Celestia: Take good care of Sunset Shimmer, I know you and her will be an excellent couple.
Thomas: I will Celestia, I promise you.
A shining light illuminated the area, Thomas, Nia, Rebecca, Gordon & Emily are back in the castle, this time in the throne room, as they see the rest of their friends burst through the doors with downed changelings everywhere.
Percy: Dude! You guys are back!
Gordon: And it's good to be back!
Henry: We thought you guys have left us.
Rebecca: Left you?! Pff, we totally would not leave you guys hanging.
James: Where did you guys even go?
Thomas: We'll tell you guys soon.
Queen Chrysalis: What?! Impossible, how did you all manage to get past my changeling forces!
Thomas: We do it as a team, no matter who you throw down at us, no matter how many you have at your disposal….
As he was speaking, his gold dust power created an aura around him as faint golden electricity sparked.
Thomas: ….no matter the numbers and no matter how many strategies you have, schemes you planned, and how many backup plans you have, you will never win!
Sunset, and the Steam Team as Thomas' eyes glowed gold, he levitated himself as the golden aura brightened, golden electricity surged as his horn powers up for a giant beam. That's when he brought his wings out as they sparkle gold. The changelings woke up and flew over to their queen from behind.
Queen Chrysalis: NO! I won't fail again, not when I'm this close! You can never win puffball!
Thomas: I can, and I will! Go back to where you came from and never return Chrysalis!
Queen Chrysalis: NEVER!
Thomas: So be it. Golden Matrix!
He fired his horn at the changelings and Chrysalis, which hit her and sent them flying far across Equestria. The Steam Team cheered after they scored the biggest victory they ever have, Sunset was so happy for Thomas that she rushed over to him, wrapped her hooves around his neck and kissed him multiple times in the cheek.
Sunset Shimmer: You did it babe; you actually did it! All of you did it! You saved Equestria from Chrysalis' tyranny.
Thomas: We all did it together.
James: You got that right Thomas.
Thomas: (Panting) Thanks James, now, I really need a rest.
Thomas fell to his knees and collapsed.
Sunset Shimmer: Thomas!
After a while, Thomas is taking back to the resistance base, to be checked over.
Sunset Shimmer: Is he gonna be okay
Edward: Well, aside from a few bruises, he just worn himself out in exhaustion. All that fighting has really taken his energy out, but he'll be fine, as long as he gets enough rest, then he'll be up and running.
Sunset Shimmer: Phew thank goodness.
Sunset went over to him and stroked her hoof against his mane, and kissed his cheek.

Emily: We'll leave you two alone.
Sunset Shimmer: Thanks Emily.
The rest of the Steam Team left the two alone, not after Percy looking back and smiling at them. But Equestria has reached another big milestone, the changeling threat is over, and Equestria is safe. A month has passed, and everyone is back to their respective home and Ponyville. The damage has been repaired and the cleanup has been done. When all is set in done, a ceremony is put on to commemorate the Steam Team for saving Equestria, everyone is excited. The Pony & Young Six were all excited to see them be part of Equestrian history. Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Lady and the Pillars, along with the leaders of each kingdom joining them as well.
Princess Celestia: Ladies and gentlecolts, it's my great honor to announce the very heroes that saved Equestria from the wrath of the changelings. When Equestria is at its worst, the very souls that helped to find help, for their resistance. Tempest, Lady and Starlight should be rewarded for their actions to go and get the Steam Team, the very heroes that saved our kingdom. We cannot express our gratitude to them, for that, they'll be forever part of our history books. For that, the princesses of Equestria will present these medals of honor, to the heroes of Equestria, the Steam Team!
The crowd clapped and cheered, as the Steam Team appeared, they wave their hooves and wings at the crowd. A castle guard has his magic around a case of medals as Celestia begins presenting the medals to them.
Princess Celestia: Steam Team, for your actions, determination, and your splendid teamwork to help save Equestria, I Princess Celestia, will proudly present to you these Medals of Honor, you earned them.
She used her magic to bring out the medals, she placed one on James, which is a gold medal with red #5 connected to a dark red strap. Celestia placed one on Rebecca, a gold medal with wings with a cyan #22 connected to a mustard yellow strap.
James: Well, would you look at that. A medal for me, am I popular or what?
Rebecca: (Chuckles) Oh James.
Celestia then placed one on Henry, a bronze medal with a green #3, connecting to a dark green strap. She placed one on Percy, a silver medal with a green #6, connecting to an emerald green strap.
Percy: Wow, I have a medal of my own, isn't this the coolest thing or what!
Henry: I believe it Percy; this is totally awesome.
Celestia then placed one on Emily, a bronze medal with wings with a chartreuse #12, connecting to a chartreuse strap. She placed one on Thomas, a gold medal with wings with a light blue #1, connecting to an electric blue strap.
Emily: This is incredible Thomas, we saved the world and we get rewarded, I'm so happy.
Thomas: Yes, I definitely agree Emily, this is incredible.
She then placed one on Toby, a silver medal with an orange #7, connecting to a dark brown strap. Celestia then placed one on Nia, a bronze medal with an orange #18, connecting to a green, red and black striped strap.
Toby: Wow, what an achievement.
Nia: I have to agree this is unbelievable.
Celestia passed out the final two medals to Edward, a silver medal with a light blue #2, connected with a pacific blue strap. She then passed the final medal to Gordon, a gold medal with wings with a light blue #4, connected with a navy blue strap.
Gordon: Now this, is a trophy fit for the grandest engine in all of Sodor.
Edward: Oh brother.
Princess Celestia: Congratulations to the Steam Team!
The crowd continues to cheer, as fireworks are fired and explode, and the Pegasi sour across the sky, this was indeed a historic moment. Back at the portal, the Steam Team and Sunset were just about to leave.
Edward: We wish we could stay in Equestria, but Canterlot needs us in case of any dangers.
Princess Luna: We completely understand Edward, but we owe you our gratitude for helping to save Equestria from Chrysalis, though our search to find her is difficult, but we'll make sure she won't cause harm to us anymore, now that her conquest is over.
Percy: Phew, thank goodness, I don't want to see another bug pony ever again.
James: You and me both Percy.
Lady: I wish I could join you guys, but I must remain her for the time being, I have to assist with the princesses in making sure Equestria is safe again.
Thomas: I understand Lady, and we'll make sure we hold our end back at Canterlot.
Princess Celestia: I know you will Thomas, stay safe.
Thomas acknowledged as one by one, each of his friends went into the portal, after a while, Thomas, Sunset and Starlight were the only ones left.
Thomas: Until we meet again, princesses.
The three entered the portal heading back to Canterlot, meanwhile, in the farthest reaches of the Everfree forest, Chrysalis and the rest of her fallen changeling army are left hobbling, limping, battered and beaten after they were evicted from Equestria. Chrysalis is left mad over the fact that she was this close to victory, but was thwarted by the hooves and teamwork of the Steam Team.
Queen Chrysalis: NO! NO! I was so close, so close to ruling Equestria at my bare hooves! But those, pathetic Steam Team, and the rest of Equestria will pay dearly for running my plans! I will be back, and I'll show you all no mercy!
Diesel 10: Believe me, I've been down that road.
She and the changelings looked up and saw a portal open up, stepping out is the Storm King and Diesel 10.
Queen Chrysalis: Who are you?!
Diesel 10: Relax, I didn't come here to fight you, I come in peace.
Queen Chrysalis: Likely story, did you honestly expect me to believe that you come in peace, I think not!
Storm King: Shall I take care of her sire.
Diesel 10: That won't be necessary. Queen Chrysalis, is that it?
Queen Chrysalis: Yes, what's it to you?
Diesel 10: My name is Diesel 10, and this is the Storm King.
Queen Chrysalis: Storm King, I've heard of you. Tempest Shadow was once your second in command.
Storm King: Yes, she was, until she turned on me to join those pathetic ponies.
Diesel 10: So you see we're not so different.
Queen Chrysalis: What do you mean by that?
Diesel 10: You see, while Storm King got taken out by the ponies, that I know you have a deep hatred. I also have a deep hatred to another particular group, that've foiled my plans to take over Sodor and gain control of its power, I'm pretty sure you have already figured who they are and they fought you.
Queen Chrysalis: THE STEAM TEAM?! Those wretched souls have foiled my every plan to take over Equestria. I would give everything to take my revenge on them for ruining my conquest.
Diesel 10: You see, we're not so different. So, what do you say, join my conquest and together, will destroy the ponies and the Steam Team once and for all.
Queen Chrysalis: If there's a chance I take my revenge on the Steam Team for ruining my plans, then I'm in.
Diesel 10: Follow me.
So the Storm King and Diesel 10, lead Chrysalis and the changelings through the portal. In the castle, the rest of the army are bored, while some are busy still perfecting their lair.
Class 40: Ugh, talk about boredom, what's gotten into Diesel 10 all of a sudden.
Diesel: He said that he's out there finding loyal subjects to help us stop the Steam Team along with those girls.
Class 40: He's become more stray by the day, please I would much rather have Grogar as our leader, if he wasn't fricking Discord!
Cozy Glow: Yeah, get used to it. Discord's always up to his tricks that go his own way.
Diesel: I still don't understand why you think Grogar should be our leader instead of 10.
Class 40: Because if I know my way, to which Grogar from his history has held more power than even Diesel 10 can imagine.
Dodge: That still doesn't give you the right to disrespect the boss Bowler.
Class 40: Oh shut up you lot.
Diesel 10: Silence my friends.
The door opened and showed Diesel 10, Storm King, Queen Chrysalis and the remaining changeling forces she has as they enter the castle.
Class 40: Now what is this.
Diesel 10: My friends, allow me to introduce our new ally, Queen Chrysalis, ruler of the changelings. With her power and her forces at her side, we'll crush them.
Queen Chrysalis: Please, this is what you have to stop the Steam Team?
Diesel 10: Yes, I do, while they have their failures, they're still loyal to my cause as well as fighting for this army.
Cozy Glow: (Chuckles sheepishly) Hiya Chrysalis.
Queen Chrysalis: Cozy Glow! Why would you, of all low-life Pegasi, align with someone like Diesel 10.
Cozy Glow: B-B-Because….
Diesel 10: Because I sense potential in her, while she has her screw-ups, she's useful.
Queen Chrysalis: If I were in charge, I would dump these losers. Your diesels have been nothing but jokes. I mean, Diesel, your second-in-command, has been a complete failure since you mention of his last crusade with his lackeys to take back the school.
Diesel: You little witch!
Dodge: Hey! We're not screw-ups.
Spatter: Dodge is right, sure he might fail, but we're still loyal to the diesel cause.
Queen Chrysalis: Pff, we shall see, and you too, Arry & Bert, not capable of stopping your enemies when you had the chance.
Arry: Hey, we're capable of stopping them, it's just that, we weren't expecting them to be having powers.
Bert: Yeah, what he said.
Queen Chrysalis: Well clearly you need more advanced training, and who's this supposed to be.
Class 40: The name's Bowler, or Class 40, you bug-eyed witch.
Queen Chrysalis: Why you insolent….
Diesel 10: I would advise, to not antagonize him, trust me on this, I know you don't trust my friends, but I can assure you, you can trust them.
Queen Chrysalis: We shall see, now who is this, a grotesque pony with dragon wings, covered in horrific markings, how is he any help.
That made Timothy angry, so he lunged forward and slapped her, which knocked out one of her canine teeth as she fell to the ground. Splatter, Dodge, Bowler and Diesel were wide-eyed by what they just seen.
Splatter: (Whispers) Whoa, tell me he did not do what I think he just did.
Dodge: (Whispers) Uhh yeah, he did.
Timothy: This grotesque pony with dragon wings, is the living embodiment of evil! I live to haunt the very island that I was destined to, along with hurting every one that dare to stand in the way of my mission, to rid every being that has desecrated my name! Then, that's when they'll experience my pain, depression, hatred and rage! So, don't even think for a second, that I would do the same to you, if you get in my way!
Diesel 10: That is Timothy, the demon ghost of Sodor, and dare I say it, he's the most dangerous supernatural being in all of Sodor, you do NOT want to get on his bad side.
Queen Chrysalis: (Groans) So, I see. I must say, even what you said that they have their failures, they still show potential. And you Diesel 10, I sense you do have the traits of a leader, (Chuckles), even if we're on the wrong side.
Diesel 10: Now you're speaking my language.
Queen Chrysalis: So, where do we start?
What will the villains plan be, we don't know, until next time? But back at Canterlot High, the girls returned to the portal hoping the rest of their friends will return back.
Rainbow Dash: Ugh, where are they, it's been ages since they've been through that portal to Equestria.
Twilight Sparkle: I know we're all anxiously waiting for them to return, so am I, but remember that if their mission to save Equestria takes longer, it might take them awhile.
Rarity: True darling, oh I just hope my Jamesy is okay, as long as the others.
Suddenly, they see the portal open and they see Starlight and Sunset step through the portal. Twilight was ecstatic and hugged her.
Twilight Sparkle: Sunset!
Sunset Shimmer: Twilight, I've missed you.
Twilight Sparkle: I've missed you too.
They soon see Edward, Emily, Rebecca, Nia, Toby, Percy, Gordon, Henry and James pop out, the girls were so happy seeing them back, that they even had tears drip down their cheeks, but that was when Thomas popped out. Thomas saw them and couldn't help smiling at them, but tears trickled down his cheeks, he rushed over and hugged Twilight, to which the other girls followed as they embrace him in a big group hug.
Thomas: (Sniffles) I've missed you guys so much.
Applejack: We've missed you too sugarcube, we really do.
Fluttershy: We're just so happy to see you guys again, after so long.
Edward: We all missed you, but we're just so glad to see each other again.
Twilight Sparkle: Yes, we're all happy to see you all. (Kisses his cheek)
Rainbow Dash: Gordy my man, how are you!
Gordon: I've missed you Rainbow Dash.
Fluttershy: Henry, oh how I've missed you so much. (Sniffles)
Henry: I know, Fluttershy, I know.
Fluttershy kissed his cheek as the two are back together again.
Rebecca: It's hard to imagine that this is finally over, for the changelings that is.
Emily: I have to agree Rebecca, happy to be back to our second home.
Nia: At least Canterlot isn't taking over by the changelings.
Starlight Glimmer: What have I missed after all this time.
Toby: We'll tell you later, how are you cowgirl.
Applejack: All's well that ends well Toby, boy how I missed ya. (Kissed his cheek)
Pinkie Pie: PERCY! Oh how I missed you my Percy-wercy! (Kissed his cheek multiple times)
Percy: (Chuckles) And I missed you as well Pinkie.
Rarity: Oh, my Jamesy, I've missed you so much and I dream of having you back in my heart.
James: I miss you too Rarity, but I can assure you my love for you is forever strong.
Rarity smiled and kissed him on the lips. Sunset smiled and wrapped an arm around Thomas, and kissed his cheek, to wish he blushed, Twilight approached the two.
Twilight Sparkle: So, what did happen over there.
Thomas: Meet us at the farm field, all of you should see this, and bring your lab equipment, along with your testing gear. The fun is about to get a lot more interesting.
