Welcome back to the finale of the Mortal Kombat intros. Today, we only have one thing left to do to wrap up this story, and that's character endings, pretty much the staple of this long running series of mine. It's always one of my favorite parts of the wrap up. Despite only happening twice before now by my count. Well let's make number three a good one!

Spyro's Ending

I don't know how I got here, but I knew I had to stop Kronika from the moment I heard her plans. But I was still pretty unprepared for what came next.

Apparently in defeating Kronika, I took over her position as the Keeper of Time. Does that even make sense? I'm not from this Realm! But that's beyond the point. This isn't the first time I've been handed immense power. And apparently, with this position comes the ability to reshape the entire timeline using this Hourglass.

Now I know nothing about this Realm, other than it's been stuck in a time loop for some time. So I undid the loop, and in a fitting twist of fate, sealed Kronika in one herself where she continuously resets a false timeline, thinking she won. Was that too much like something Malefor would do? Probably, but it did feel good. And that was when I realized I couldn't carry on.

This power was starting to corrupt me. Controlling the fates of billions from beyond the shores of time with no consequences to oneself is enough to drive anyone mad. So I did the only thing that made sense. I gathered 13 of the most trusted friends I had made during this time and split the power of Kronika equally among them, only to be acted upon subconsciously. They don't manipulate history like Kronika did. They do so by taking part in it, and recording what actions come of their decisions. A legion of Chroniclers essentially.

With that Realm's struggle finished, Liu Kang, now the Protector of Earthrealm, sent me back to the Dragon Realms. As much as I enjoy the time off, I know anything could go wrong at any second. And if it ever gets too crazy for Liu Kang and company to bear, well, they know how to find me.
