A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 7: The Acknowledgement [Part 16]
Rukia woke up, and found herself in Renji's arms, as everyone held their breath as they watch the fighting above, in the night sky.
At this, Rukia could not help but worry for Ichigo, seeing as all the captains, including Byakuya were very intent.
But deep inside her heart.
She believes in Ichigo.
The person who changed the Soul Society's thousand year tradition.
As Rukia thought about this, the dark box up in the sky broke, revealing a triumphant Kurosaki.
At that, she could not help but feel proud of Ichigo.
The captains also feel the same way.
Even Byakuya.

And then Tsukishima came from nowhere to stab Kurosaki.
At seeing this, Rukia's heart clenched in fear, as she instinctively jumped in front of Ichigo.
Determined to protect him, with her own life.
At that, Ichigo felt his heart stopped, as he saw Rukia once again put herself in danger for his sake.
