A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 8: Fear [part 1]
But before Rukia got cut by Tsukishima, Riruka exited from Rukia's body, and took the hit.
At that, Rukia lost consciousness once again.
And when she waked up, Ichigo's somber face greeted her, as she was in his arms.
"Are you okay?" he asked tenderly.
At this, Rukia comically reacted, dissolving Ichigo's funk.
Everyone just looked on in entertainment, as Rukia and Ichigo finally are back to their old bantering, after getting separated for 18 months.
Now…
It seem like the clock, is moving again…
Ichigo though, as he basked in Rukia's warm presence.
The thing he missed.
So much.

.
.
And after everything had been fixed in the human world, Ichigo is escorted back to Soul Society.
For everyone to acknowledge his victory, and honor his loyalty.
Rukia ought to be completely happy.
But a part of her feel sad, that Byakuya seemed to blend in the background.
As if he didn't exist.

Something has definitely changed about him.
