My Little Pony: Equestrian Girls/Sodor On Vacation

Season 6: New Face of Villainy
Episode 1 (83): Back to Canterlot
Canterlot, a peaceful town that has its own share of magic. But the town of Canterlot, also has some special guests welcomed to the town, the Sudrians of Sodor. They were welcomed to their town, and they loved it. But the town also has some of the most powerful and devoted heroes that help save the city from evil, the Mane 7 and the Steam Team. Right now, the Steam Team are relaxing at Applejack's farmhouse, and the girls are with them, as well as Starlight and Trixie. Applejack handed them some apple cider along with some lunch for them to have.
Applejack: Help yourselves partner.
Henry: Thanks Applejack, I gotta say, it's good to be back home.
Sunset Shimmer: On that note, I agree, from helping to save the citizens of Equestria, to stopping the changelings and taking down Chrysalis once and for all.
James: Yes, finally no more bugs, thank god.
Gordon: Yeah, otherwise we'll be hearing James complaining nonstop about those changelings.
Trixie: I would agree with you on that note Gordon, those changelings are really revolting creatures from what you describe.
Thomas: Yeah, don't let their appearance get the better of you, they do have nicer forms that you can accept.
Trixie: Well, I'll have to keep an eye out for that.
Starlight Glimmer: Yeah, with Chrysalis out of the picture, Equestria is now a much happier place.
Trixie: Well, thanks for letting me join you guys with sharing this Equestrian knowledge.
Rainbow Dash: Well, some of us don't trust you, but we'll let that slide.
Toby: So, what's been going on with you and Twilight, Thomas.
Thomas: Well, I think it's time we show you all, what's going on with me, Nia, Emily, Gordon & Rebecca.
Rebecca: Trust us on this guys, you guys are gonna like this.
Pinkie Pie: Ooh! This should be exciting, where should we see it?
Thomas: Applejack, care to spare a field.
Applejack: It's no problem sugarcube, I was gonna have this one plowed over for fresh new apple trees, but I think whatever you guys are doing, will help with the planting. Knock yourselves silly.
Rarity: Though, what is it that you wanted to show us darling.
Gordon: Wait and see.
They find some hay bales so that they can sit and watch. Twilight also brought her lab equipment so that she'll use it for testing.
Twilight Sparkle: So, who's up first to begin the procedure.
Thomas: I would go first.
So Twilight brought out quarter-sized suction pads, with wires connecting to a machine, she stuck them to the side of his head. Twilight checked her machine to see if it works right, making sure the gauges, dials and circuitry are up to par and stable.
Twilight Sparkle: Okay, the module is up and running, ready for the test, so what is your second power.
Thomas: Watch this everyone.
Everyone watched as Thomas powered up his arm and it popped out the round shield, they were amazed.
Percy: Whoa, Thomas has a shield ability!
Rainbow Dash: Now that is awesome, he can finally back Rarity up!
Rarity: Hmph, it's not like I'm defenseless or anything Dashie.
Rainbow Dash: Come on, I'm just joshing you Rars.
Thomas: Alright Dash, it'll be fair if you test out my shield.
Rainbow Dash: Oh, I'm game Thomas.
Rainbow Dash walked over to the testing zone, and on the table, there's an apple and a rock about the size of a baseball. She picked up the apple and looked at Thomas.
Rainbow Dash: You ready Thomas.
Thomas: I'm ready Rainbow.
Rainbow Dash: You better be, cause I'm about to throw in the fastball!
She readied her arm, spun it around and threw it at the shield. The apple impacted the shield, but instead of a splat, it bounced back and hit Rainbow in the forehead along with hitting Gordon in the forehead. James, Percy, Pinkie and Toby laughed while Rebecca, Emily and Sunset chuckled.
Rainbow Dash: Ow, what the heck!
Twilight Sparkle: Fascinating, the shield itself can deflect a projectile coming right towards them and redirect its kinetic energy right back at them.
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, real science-y.
Trixie: Impressive shield Thomas, I think it could work well with a few of my magic acts.
James: Yeah, good luck with that.
Twilight Sparkle: Now, let's try the rock.
Rainbow Dash: Ready for Round 2 Thomas.
Thomas: You know I'm ready Rainbow.
She readied her arm, spun it around and threw it at the shield. The rock impacted the shield and exploded, sending dust and pebbles all over. Rarity, Edward, James, Henry, Nia, Emily & Toby shielded themselves from the debris.
Rainbow Dash: Wow, pff, rocks don't stand a chance. But that shield is awesome, what else can that do.
Thomas: Well, I haven't really found out on what else it can do, but I'm sure it'll surprise all of us.
Twilight Sparkle: Fascinating, your test results really are amazing Thomas, so, who's next.
Gordon sped forward in the test zone.
Gordon: I'll go next.
Twilight Sparkle: So, what is your second power.
Gordon: Well, I have the ability to generate shockwaves, from both my hands and my feet.
Twilight Sparkle: Whoa, destructive, but awesome, you might wanna take off your shoes if I'm gonna perform the test.
So Twilight brought out the suction pads and stuck them to his hands and feet, and Gordon agreed to take his shoes off for this to work.
Rainbow Dash: Yo Twi, I think I've found the perfect test subjects to test out Gordon's second power.
Twilight Sparkle: What is it?
Rainbow Dash: Those apple trees over there.
Applejack: What?! Absolutely not, my trees are irreplaceable!
Gordon: Please, you can just plant more trees.
Applejack: Are you pulling on my cow's behind?! There's no way in heck, I would allow you to destroy my trees!
Twilight Sparkle: Hmm, how about this. I might have a solution for this problem, don't you have any dead trees or any trees that don't have apples.
Applejack: Yes, I do.
Twilight Sparkle: Maybe, I can move my test equipment over to those specific trees and go from there.
Applejack: (Sighs) I guess I can make an exception for this one.
Twilight Sparkle: Great, let's get started shall we.
Nia: She's really protective of her trees.
Fluttershy: Yes, she is, but she still means well.
Emily: Hmm, why does that remind me of someone.
James: Gordon with his coaches, yeah, I totally see the resemblance.
So they arrived at a section where dead trees and trees that don't have apples are, so that they can begin their test.
Twilight Sparkle: Alright, the test zone is ready, whenever you're ready Gordon, just walk over to the trees.
He walked over to one of the dead trees, readied his fist and threw a punch at one of the trees, which sent a shockwave, uprooting a couple of trees in the process. The others saw this and were amazed by this.
Percy: Did he just obliterated all those trees!
Pinkie Pie: Yes, he did, and that is awesome!
Rainbow Dash: Hey, that's my line!
Twilight Sparkle: Wow, that's unbelievable, the module is going insane, the readings measured the strike, similar to the shockwave left off from a bomb explosion.
Gordon: Well, that's my new power.
He slammed his foot in the direction of the other trees, which uprooted more trees as the shockwave went through.
Applejack: Whoa, whoa there buckaroo, don't go too crazy.
Twilight Sparkle: This is absolutely amazing; this data is just incredible. I might have to safe all this data in the archives.
Edward: I think you should, it could prove beneficial for your studies.
Twilight Sparkle: I believe that, so who's next.
Emily: I'll go next.
Spike: This whole second power thing is just absolutely amazing; oh I wish I could have powers.
Edward: (Chuckles) I believe you Spike.
Twilight Sparkle: So, what is your second power?
Emily: I have the power to generate ice from my hands.
Twilight approached Emily and wrapped two gauntlet-like devices on Emily's lower arms.
Emily: What are these?
Twilight Sparkle: These are temperature gauge gauntlets, this will help see how cold the temperature is of your ice, when you generate it. And when you do that, the screen will show the temperature.
Emily: I see, well, you do have a very inventive mind Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: Thanks Emily. So, when you're ready, just bring your arms out and let the ice do your work.
So Emily breathed in and out, she brought her hands out as they glowed emerald, then, a couple big shards of emerald ice shot out of the ground.
James: Whoa, okay I know that she can generate ice, but isn't ice supposed to be, I don't know white.
Edward: Yes, though she's endowed with the color emerald, the color must've transferred onto the ice and stayed there.
Twilight Sparkle: Wow, this is just too unreal, I mean, all this data I'm getting, it's like a never ending fountain of knowledgeable data, all mine!
Sunset Shimmer: (Chuckles) Twily, calm down, you're getting a little too hyperactive.
Twilight Sparkle: (Blushes) Oh right sorry.
Sunset Shimmer: That's alright Sparky, so what did the data say.
Twilight Sparkle: Well, from what the module is compiling, Emily's ice is made out of blue ice, the toughest form of ice in this world from Antarctica, while we don't know how tough it is, it has said that it needed about 57,000 pounds of force per square inch in order to crack this bad boy, plus since Emily has the ability to generate emerald explosive Shurikens, that means that her ice also has an emerald coating, making it tougher. And, by looking at emerald's toughness, it's about a 7 ½-8 on the Mohs scale of hardness.
Rainbow Dash: Nerd alert people.
James: Yep, talk about major nerd alert.
Percy: Uhh guys, how the heck am I up here!
They look to see Percy stuck upon an ice spike.
Thomas: Percy, what the heck are you doing up there!
Percy: I was just playing around with my teleportation, and then I happen to teleport myself onto here.
Thomas: So, you think you can get down.
Percy: I don't think I can get down.
Thomas: (Smirks) Dude, you have teleportation powers, you can just teleport yourself down here.
Percy: (Blushes) Oh right. (Chuckles sheepishly)
Percy teleported back to the ground, while Emily took off the gauntlets and hand them to Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: So, who's next.
Nia: I'm next.
Twilight Sparkle: So, what is your power?
Nia: Well, I've somehow gained myself two crossbows, and whenever I touch my four weapons, although I haven't tried it with my other weapons, but when I touch my sword, it increases its striking power and it's more powerful.
Twilight Sparkle: Hmm, that's really interesting.
Twilight approached her and stuck the pads on the side of her heads.
Twilight Sparkle: Let's try your sword first.
She reached out at her weapon sash, and unsheathed her sword. Her hands glowed orange as orange veins appeared on her sword. Twilight then put a sticky pad that's capable of calculating how powerful her sword is now.
Sunset Shimmer: Whoa, now that's a neat upgrade for your sword.
Nia: Thanks Sunset.
Twilight Sparkle: Applejack, care to spare some hay bales.
Applejack: Sure thing. Big Mac, we need some hay bales over here!
Big Macintosh: No problem sis.
They see Big Mac bring in more hay bales, but they see Murdoch, Hank along with Sam helping him out.
James: Hank, Murdoch, Sam, what are you guys doing here.
Murdoch: Well, we couldn't let Big Mac have all the hard work on moving these hay bales, so we though we chip in.
Sam: Trust us, this is the true grunt work around these parts.
Hank: That's right partner, spoken like a true American, but let's keep on trucking partners.
After a few minutes, the hay bales are set. Thomas, Edward, Percy and James watched as Nia prepares her test. She exhaled calmly as her sword powers up. She looked at the hay bales and with one swing, a bigger plasma wave was shot out and obliterated the bales.
Twilight Sparkle: Nice one!
But she accidently sent another wave at Thomas, Edward, James and Percy, which hit them and sent them back.
Nia: Oh no, I'm so sorry!
James: What the heck Nia, you could've killed us!
Thomas: Wait a minute, I'm feeling no effects, no cuts, bruises, broken bones, nothing. That plasma wave didn't injure us, we're okay.
Percy: Thomas is right, we're not hurt.
Edward: Hmm, well I'm shocked about what just transpired, but I'm also intrigued that the plasma wave didn't hurt us, perhaps we have immunity from that attack.
Nia: Phew, that's a relief.
Twilight Sparkle: I'm getting a lot of good results, now let's see that whip.
She took off the sticky pad from her sword, as Nia placed it back in her sheath and revealed her whip, that's when Twilight wrapped the pad on the whip to measure its power. As Nia touched her whip, it glowed with orange veins all over.
Twilight Sparkle: This is so exciting.
Nia: Same here.
Unbeknownst to her, she whipped out her whip in excitement, as it extended its length, went over a pulley and wrapped around James' leg, and with little effort, Nia pulled forward, she dragged James up the pulley like she's reeling in a fish.
James: HEY! Put me down you guys, why am I getting bad luck after bad luck around here, so not fair!
Skarloey: Relax James, Jack and Alfie will help you down.
Jack and Alfie unraveled the whip and helped James down.
James: Phew thanks you guys.
Jack: No problem dude, it's not every day I have to help someone stuck from a whip.
Alfie: You got that right.
Nia: Sorry about that James, I got a little excited.
James: No worries, I forgive you.
She recoiled her whip and looked over as Applejack placed a log in the testing zone.
Applejack: The test is to see if your whip can grab the log and split it in half.
Nia: (Exhales) Okay.
She starts twirling her whip in a circle formation and flung it straight, as it elongates and wraps itself around the middle of the log, recoils it back and with enough force, split the log in half. The rest of Nia's friends congratulated her for completing the test.
Twilight Sparkle: Nice one Nia, now that I got that bit of data, let's see what else your other weapons can do.
She recoiled her whip, and put in on her sash. She then whipped out her Bo staff as she twirled it around. It then popped out a grey blade from within, as orange veins glowed all over the staff.
Emily: Whoa, that's a new one.
Rebecca: Didn't know that her staff has a blade hidden within.
Rainbow Dash: But that's awesome.
Nia: So, what's my test?
They see Hank, Murdoch, Sam and Big Mac bring in four colored striped barrels, one blue, one purple, one red & one orange.
Applejack: Your test is to see if you Bo staff has the capability of breaking these barrels apart with your swings, and we'll be the ones to throw them at you.
Nia: Hmm, this should be interesting.
Applejack: And it might strengthen your combat skills as well.
Applejack grabbed the red barrel, Murdoch grabbed the purple barrel, Sam grabbed the blue barrel and Hank grabbed the orange barrel. Nia prepares herself as she holds onto the Bo staff. Sam threw the blue barrel at her, she twirled her Bo and the blade sliced the barrel in half as it crashes behind her. Murdoch threw the purple barrel at her, that's when she pierced it, threw it up, jumped up and with a bunch of rapid motions until it was reduced to splinters. Applejack threw the red barrel at her, she kicked it up and with a simple slam by her Bo, it crashed to the ground as it broke apart. And finally, Sam threw the orange barrel at her, to which she stuck the blade into it and with two big slashes, broke the barrel into four pieces.
Applejack: (Whistles) You sure made quick work of those barrels.
Nia: Thanks, now I think it's time I show off my crossbows.
She whipped out her two crossbows as orange veins pop out.
Twilight Sparkle: I think Nia needs some target practice.
Applejack: Let's bring out the targets.
Toby brought in the targets with his wood powers, not before Rainbow snatched them and place them on the tree trunks, about 15 of them.
Rainbow Dash: You can thank me later Toby.
Twilight Sparkle: Whenever you're ready Nia, just use your crossbows and bow and unleash your archery skills!
Nia rushed over and started firing at the targets, with quick efficiency. With her crossbow, she fired at 6 targets, and the other 9 targets were fired from her bow. Nia breathed out in relief, as the crowd cheered at her performance.
Emily: Well done Nia, you did it.
Percy: And I thought I can do all that from just my teleportation.
Nia: Thank you my friends, thank you.
Sunset Shimmer: So, all that leaves is Rebecca.
Rebecca: You're lucky that I got an extraordinary power, and it might get very loud.
Pinkie Pie: So essentially you have sonic screams.
Rebecca: Yes, I do.
Applejack: Well, I think we got the perfect test for you to test your new power.
Jack and Alfie brought in a table while Skarloey and Rheneas brought in about 20 apple cider bottles, and put them in a row for Rebecca to test her power. Twilight approached her and hand her a sound device.
Twilight Sparkle: You might need this, this device will record the level of decibels you produced, decibels are related to sound in case you're wondering.
Rebecca: Interesting, I wish these are high tech headphones.
Twilight Sparkle: (Chuckles) You know that's a good idea, I might have to think about that, but that's a project for another time.
So Rebecca looked to where the bottles are, readied herself and unleashed her sonic scream. Everyone covered their ears as the scream happened, the bottles then broke apart into a million pieces.
Twilight Sparkle: Whoa, from calculating the numbers that my hearing aid is reading, her scream reached about 210 decibels, that's about the same as a 1 ton TNT bomb.
Thomas: That's loud.
James: Too loud.
Gordon: Much louder than a tugboat to me.
Emily: What do you think about that Percy, Percy?
That's when they see Percy curled up upon himself, shivering and scared.
Fluttershy: (Gasps) Aww, oh dear, Percy. That scream must've terrified you.
Percy: Y-Yes, that's r-really loud.
Fluttershy: Aww, come here.
Fluttershy reached out and grabbed Percy, she then sat down and cradled Percy in her arms, then he heard something beautiful: Fluttershy in her gentlest voice.
Fluttershy: (Gentlest voice) There, there Percy, it's okay sweetie, it's okay. I know that you struggle with being brave and always gets scared a lot, but it's okay, you'll still conquer your fears. Bravery is the best form of flattery.
Percy: (Blushes) Thank you Fluttershy.
Fluttershy: Your welcome sweetie.
Then Fluttershy see Percy wrapped his arms around her and snuggle against her hair, which made Fluttershy giggle and blush.
Fluttershy: (Giggles) You're too sweet Percy.
Percy: I know.
Henry: (Chuckles) Yeah, Fluttershy has that effect on people.
James: All you guys get so lucky to get second powers; why can't we get some.
Edward: Probably on our next adventure.
Thomas: I think we all had enough excitement for one day, now I think we should all get some sleep.
Rainbow Dash: I know one way to unwind from all of this, sleepover at my house!
Applejack: Now why didn't I think of that from before, all this power training has really made me tired.
Pinkie Pie: Oh yeah, sleepover party!
Rainbow Dash: We meet again just before nightfall, so gather your PJs and what you need for a sleepover like this, and it's going to be sweet.
Sunset Shimmer: That will be good, because I got something special for you Thomas, and I think you're gonna like it.
Thomas: Well, anything with you my sweet, I'll be looking forward to it.
Sunset Shimmer: (Giggles) Cutie. (Kisses his cheek)
Rainbow Dash: So, all up for the sleepover.
Thomas, Edward, Gordon, James, Applejack, Rebecca, Henry, Percy, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, Toby, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Spike, Twilight Sparkle, Nia, Fluttershy & Emily: Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!
Trixie: I wish I could join you all, but I've got a few errands I need to take care of.
Sunset Shimmer: It's perfectly fine Trixie, we'll see you later.
Tonight, will be an extraordinary night for the girls and Steam Team, meanwhile, in the Crystal Empire, cracks appeared in the ice, as faint purple streams ooze from the cracks.
