Edward walked to the back door of Elsa's house that led to the back yard and he saw Micheal at a table writing on his notebook. "Hi Michael."
Michael looked over at him and stared at him for a couple of seconds surprised that he even spoke to him. "...hi."
"This is where we live now." Fu told Nino as they walked in the apartment complex.
Nino looked around. "Wow its pretty and big plus it's very close to the neighborhood."
"Right? And the best part is that there's an evaluator." Fu stated and Nino chuckles as they took the evaluator.
In the apartment when Mari saw Nino walking in with Fu she stood up and hugged him. "Nino I'm glad to see you."
At that moment Nino saw Adrienne in her basket. "And that baby?"
Edward walked over to him. "I came to visit Elsa and Roxie. I'm probably not your favorite person in the world right."
"Right just like how I'm not yours after I stole Elsa from you." Michael replied.
Edward sat next to him. "That was in the past plus no one can steal anyone from another person when they didn't belong to them in the first place. Elsa never belonged to me she was always yours."
"She's not mine anymore I lost her ever since I prohibited her from having any children." Michael replied.
Elena was helping Mathew get dressed for the day. "Mom can you help me get my painting supplies I want to start painting again."
Elena looked at him overjoyed. "Really?" Mathew nodded and in no time Elena was uncovering some of Mathew's unfinished paintings and bringing his paintings supplies close to him where he could reach them from his chair.
Mari picked up Adrienne in her arms. "Isn't she pretty Nino she's my daughter Adrienne."
"You don't say so the happy dad needs to be...Adrien." Mari nodded.
"That's why we left Paris all of a sudden." Fu stated. "Especially since Adrien's first wife appeased even though she was seemed dead though now she is dead." Nino looked at him confused.
"Well you know that I married Adrien." Nino nodded. "Well after awhile I found out that I was pregnant so I went to his house to tell him but when I got there he gave me the news that his first wife who everyone thought was dead appeased alive."
"This sounds like a soap opera." Nino stated.
"Well it doesn't end there you probably seen in the news that his wife was killed in her own home." Nino nodded. "Well that didn't really change anything since Adrien picked the murderer instead of me."
"You defend Miss. Tsurugi Father Carlos?" The lawyer of the public asked.
"I consider it unfair that she is judged and much less punished." Father Carlos stated.
"Do you have to be reminded of what the 5th commandment of Moris is?" The lawyer of the public asked.
"You will not kill I see that you are not just knowledgeable in laws but you also know the Bible. God is forgiving and revengeful when needed." Father Carlos stated.
"We can't be forgiven who kills gets punished and this woman killed." The lawyer said sternly.
"She isn't responsible of the act." Father Carlos stated.
"Before I knew it Alya was breaking up with me because she was going to New York." Nino was telling Mari and Fu his love story with Alya.
"I'm glad that she got promoted but I'm surprised that she broke up with you she would always tell me that she was in love with you." Mari stated and Nino shrugged his shoulders. "You two were meant to be."
Nino smiled. "You're to good Mari I wish you the best since you're a woman that deserves the best."
"Thank you Nino." She hugs him.
"Well I have to go and sorry for bothering you with my problems." Nino stated standing up.
"It's no problem but please don't tell anyone about Adrienne." Mari replied.
"Don't worry Mari If I once saw you as a man now I see you as a big brother and I'll help you out." Nino stated before leaving.
"Well here we are. Do you think Viperion is here?" Lila asked Isabella as they walked to the front of the ranch.
"Let's hope so." Isabella stated.
"Well let's ask the man that is with the house." Lila said as they walked over to Ivan. "Good morning."
Ivan looked at them. "Good morning how can I help you?"
"We want to see Viperion is he here?" Lila asked.
"May I ask you why you want to see him?" Ivan asked.
"What we have to talk to Mr. Couffaine is personal and a simple employee can't know that." Isabella stated.
"Well if you're going to be like that than you should go back from where you came from." Ivan replied.
"Don't be rude. Don't you know what respect is sir? We are two elegant women of course there's none in your family obviously." Lila stated. "Tell Viperion that we are here to see him."
"Well that won't be possible." Ivan replied.
"What's going on Ivan?" Juleka asked walking over to them. Seeing the two women and recognizing Lila from when she last came she had an idea of what was going on. "Go back to work Ivan I'll help these two women."
"Yes Juleka." Ivan got on his horse and rode of.
"What can I help you with?" Juleka asked.
"We are here to see Mr. Couffaine." Isabella replied.
"He isn't at the ranch." Juleka replied.
"Do you know when he's coming back?" Isabella asked and Juleka shook her head no. "Do you know where he is?" Juleka shook her head no again. "Could we trust in you?"
"I would say so I am his younger sister." Juleka replied.
"Well who better than you to tell him this. Tell him that the woman that lived here isn't named Iris her name is Mari. Here we will give you the location." Lila stated.
"You don't ssy?" Juleka said acting as if she didn't know already.
"When Is the party?" Max asked Ruby.
"On Saturday." Ruby replied.
"Saturday? Than yea I can go I don't have appointments that day." Max stated.
"Great though I didn't think that you were a party person." Ruby replied.
"Not really but it sounds fun well I have to go today I do have appointments see you on Saturday." Ruby nodded before Max walked away.
"How's your boyfriend Jake doing have you talked to him lately?" Mathew asked Alix who was visiting.
"Yes silly I talked to him earlier today he's doing fine that's all that I can tell you." Alix replied. "But I can tell you great news Mari is in Paris or was who knows if she left again."
"Who told you?" Mathew asked as he was setting his painting supplies ready for him to use.
"Ruby she told me over the phone." Alix replied as Mathew uncovered a painting. "I'm glad that you're painting again...hay that's a portrait of Ruby."
"Well if you can recognize her than I didn't do a bad job. That's not all watch." Mathew moved his toes slowly.
"Mathew that's great you'll be able to walk soon." Alix hugged him.
Ruby thinks about her time with Mathew and she starts to tear up she really missed him.
"Okay let's see if you can stand up longer this time." Matthew's therapist stated and Mathew nodded. With help from the therapist Mathew stood up and this time even though it was a bit unstable Mathew was able to stand up by himself and he smiled.
Audrey's lawyer stood up. "Can I ask for a request?" The judge nodded. "The witness gave an option I ask him to sustain from giving options."
"Parden me but they are not opinions they are facts that need to be consider. Mrs. Chloe Agreste wasn't a good wife and she did very unethical and moral things. I won't say that she deserved to die but God punishes those that can't or don't regret their bad actions. I know that Chloe Agreste's heart had no regret or fear of God's wrath." Father Carlos stated.
Soon it was Audrey's lawyer's turn to interrogated Father Carlos. "Father Carlos you said that the person that is being accused of doing the crime shouldn't be judged much less punished. Don't you think that those are absurd statements when it is proven that she committed the crime?"
"Kagami Tsurugi isn't guilty of any crime I said it once and I'll say it again." Father Carlos replied.
"Her fingerprints were found in the dagger that was used to kill Chloe Agreste." The lawyer stated.
"She might had the dagger in her hand but she did it not having conciousness of what she was doing." Father Carlos replied.
"You have a good term relationship with Dr. Adrien Ageeste right?" The lawyer asked and Father Carlos nodded. "Did you know that he confessed to be guilty of the murder at first to cover up for the real murderer?"
"I went to see Father Carlos but I couldn't find him." Sabine told Tom as they were having tea in the back yard.
"You should have told me earlier so I could tell you to wait. Father Carlos is declaring at the trail right now." Tom replied.
"I see well before I went to see Adrien." Sabine stated.
"Does Adrien know anything about Mari?" Tom asked.
"He told me that she was at his house he didn't see her but his sister Ruby did." Sabine replied. "That's why I went to see Father Carlos to see if he knew anything. Though Adrien did tell me something that surprised me. It seems that Mari came for something for her wedding...our daughter is getting married Tom."
"He did it to protect an innocent even though it was the wrong way." Father Carlos stated. "He wasn't covering for her he was protecting her from a cruel punishment."
"Do you know the prisoner well?" The lawyer asked.
"I only saw her two or three times." Father Carlos replied.
"Do you think that's enough to have a fair knowledge and judgment about her?" The lawyer asked.
"Yes since I seen the kind of person that she is." Father Carlos replied.
"When did you see her?" The lawyer asked.
"The first time I met her as Kagami Adrien's sister Ruby brought her to my church so I could help her be in peace with God. The second time I saw her as Ryuuko Mira. I can tell you that they were two different women and God knows that I'm not lying." Father Carlos replied.
"I already heard that rumor." Tom stated.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Sabine asked.
"Because I don't find it prudent in talking about Mari you always suffer hearing her name." Tom replied.
"The more she is mentioned the better I can't wait to have her by our side." Sabine stated.
"Let's hope everything is for good. Do you know who she's getting married to?" Tom asked.
"Adrien doesn't know Father Carlos obviously won't tell me since he hides facts about her like you." Sabine replied.
"If you think that I don't care about who our daughter gets married to you're wrong." Tom stated.
"Now that I know she's our daughter it would hurt me to not be present for her wedding." Sabine replied.
"It's a shame that we couldn't talk to Viperion but I'm sure that woman will let him know." Isabella told Lila as they walked back in her house.
Lila nodded. "Hopefully everything goes in our favor this time. Now I'm worried about Tom I haven't talked to him since he talked to you."
"I deny to continue the integration judge." Audrey's lawyer stated. "The defensive side insists on absurd statements and they shouldn't be considered since if we did we would be doing the ridiculous."
"Alright would the judge of the defensive side like to interrogate the witness?" The judge asked.
"Yes sir." Mike stated standing up and walked over to Father Carlos.
There was a knock on Adrien's door of his study. "Come in."
Lila walked in. "Hay Adrien I haven't seen you in days don't you miss me?"
"I have been busy." Adrien replied. "By the way you who is always in my business why didn't you tell me about Mari visiting me?"
"Did you talk a lot with Nino?" Marlena asked Mari when she visited her.
"Yes I did and he's suffering for Alya." Mari replied before showing her the latest article of the trail. "Now look they're talking about the Japanese woman again. Are all Japanese women crud or something?"
"No dear I met a very nice Japanese woman once." Marlena stated.
"Well the woman that killed Chloe passed as a Japanese woman or is one something like that." Mari replied.
"Hay Mari why is the man you were about to marry known as Viperion?" Marlena suddenly asked.
"A snake was about to attack him but he fought back now he has one of the tooth of the snake around his hand like a waist band." Mari replied. "I was afraid of him at first than I realized that he was just a heartbroken man that got destroyed by no other than a Japanese woman see what did I tell you?"
"Do you regret abandoning Viperion?" Marlena asked.
"I do." Mari replied.
"She was here and by chance I came and saw her. Didn't Ruby tell you?" Lila asked.
"Not until I asked her. She didn't tell me to not alter me even more than what I already am." Adrien replied. "They talked a bit and she quickly left do you know anything else?"
"Yes that she left infinitely away from Paris." Lila stated. "She told me so that she was going back to the place that she was at."
"Where and with who?" Adrien asked.
"Well not entirely but for some reasons I do." Mari added.
"What reasons?" Marlena asked.
"Well for him since he really did love me...and for Adrienne she would've had a father and a home. " Mari replied.
"What about you?" Marlena asked.
"I'm in love with Adrien I don't regret not marrying someone else." Mari replied.
"So you won't go back to Viperion?" Marlena asked.
"That's for the best...if my heart was free I would be able to love him...but my heart is so selfish that it's stuck on a love that can't be." Mari replied.
"Do you really think that Mari trusts me to tell me that?" Lila asked. "So how's the trail going?"
"Sometimes good sometimes bad the accusation side doesn't accept that Kagami has a case of split personality." Adrien replied. "But in the end they have to accept the facts. I have faith in the declaration of Father Carlos."
"The fact that you are a priest your word shouldn't be denied because you are a man dedicated to the church and God. Since the lawyers of the accusation side didn't allow you to explain your experiences with Miss. Kagami Tsurugi I ask you to tell us now please." Mike stated.
Father Carlos nodded. "Well Ruby introduced me to Kagami Tsurugi she told me that she was Adrien's daughter Maya tutor. Kagami suddenly started to cry and said."
"I'm a murderer Father. I killed Adrien Agreste's wife."
The lawyer of the public stood up. "Another confession that she is guilty judge."
The judge sighs. "You can continue Father Carlos."
"At first I didn't understand anything and it wasn't until Ruby explained everything to me when I understood." Father Carlos stated. "She told me that Kagami Tsurugi did the crime when she was overcome by the woman inside of her."
The lawyer of the public stood up again. "If you had a criminal in front of you why didn't you turn her in?"
Adrien was in his study thinking about what Lila told him about Mari when there was a knock on the door. "Come in."
Natalie walked in. "Sir this person is here to see." She hands him a business card.
Adrien looked at the name on the business card in disbelief. "Let him in Natalie." Natalie nodded and left the study.
"I didn't turn her in because she confessed in secret now I can speak since everything is known." Father Carlos replied.
"Judge the lawyer of the public shouldn't interrupt the introgation." Mike stated.
"I ask the lawyer of the public to abstract from his comments you wasted your turn introgating the witness if you want another turn you have to wait in silence." The judge said sternly.
"What else happened Father Carlos?" Mike asked.
The door to the study opened. "Adrien."
Adrien stood up and gave the person a friendly hug. "Luka what a surprise. It has been way to long not hearing from you for years actually especially for best friends like us."
"I was more like your older brother." Luka replied as they sat on chairs across from each other.
"Why haven't you contacted me I lost your trace years ago." Adrien stated.
"I traveled a lot than I became owner of my parents ranch. I was going to call you a while ago but I got busy and never did." Luka replied.
"And what brings you to Paris?" Adrien asked.
"I'm here following someone. I'm here looking for a woman." Luka replied.
"The clothes for the profermance Is ready I just need to test my make up and the wig." Mari told Fu as she was feeding Adrienne.
"No one will recognize you like that." Fu stated.
"Maybe that's good since my stage name Violet Ladybug will be used." Mari replied. "The play will be announced everywhere with my picture on it and my stage name it probably is already."
Tom was reading in his study when Plagg walked in with his tea and he noticed the small section with the picture of Mari. "Sir that small section is talking about Violet Ladybug or more like Mari."
Tom reads the section. "The profermance of Violet Ladybug in the play Romeo and Juliet is close next Saturday at 5PM at the grand theater."
"Now it will be easy for Mrs. Sabine to find her daughter right Mr. Tom?" Plagg asked with a smile.
"A woman?" Adrien asked.
"Yes Adrien I need to find her no matter the cost." Luka replied.
Tom walked to Sabine who was in the living room with Lila. "Mari appeared." He shows her the newspaper. "Even though they put her stage name it's her. The play is next Saturday it's Romeo and Juliet at the grand theater. I hope you can find your daughter."
"Our daughter Tom." Sabine stated.
"I did my part showing you the newspaper don't expect more from me." Tom replied.
"Well I'm going to see Mari and nothing is going to stop me." Sabine stated with a smile.
Roxie went to the garden to talk to Michael about his opinion on the guest list for the party when she suddenly stops in her tracks seeing Roland talking to him. Roland looked at her and smirks.
Mari was sitting on a chair in the front row of the theater practicing a few of her lines when she felt someone sit on the chair next to her. She looked up and was surprised to see Sabine Dupain-Cheng looking at her sadly with a smile. "You?" Mari asked in shock.
