Prompt: Beckett objecting at Castle's wedding
.
.
He's getting married. But not to her.
She should've done this a long time ago. It's now or never.
"I object!" She says it with vigour, certainty. Loud enough to turn every head in the room.
She scans the crowd, observing the approving looks from Martha and Alexis, their bright eyes and knowing smiles.
She dares to face Castle at the altar, his expression showing awe, longing.
"Kate." It's a whisper on his lips though she hears it clear as day. The want and need portrayed in a single syllable.
His almost wife looks between them in outrage and disbelief.

A/N: I cannot thank you all enough for joining me on this ride. This journey is nearing its end, but it won't be the end of my writing. I have a few different ideas and oneshots in the works that I hope will be enjoyable!
