Part 91: The new swords power

"Ahhh," Asta said looking like he was in pain as held onto the new anti magic sword. Power already coming off it.

"Whats happening," one of the kids said looking confused.

Yuno looked at the scene confused as well when Bell spoke up. "Hey I recognize that sword, that's the one that weird guy used against us," she said remembering when they went up against Licht.

Asta however stood back up and held out the sword. "Theres much more power coming off this then the other two," he thought before taking a breath and looking determined. "Focus, don't go against the flow, just got let it go through me," he thought before holding the sword in the air.

"Ahhh," he said as the dark power began to come out of all of the villagers who had burns on their skin. Then they slowly began to fade and the same happened to the priest. The man from the purple orcas looked surprised.

"He dispelled all that poison and how did he get his hands on that sword," he thought looking annoyed.

"Uh, what happened," the priest said opening his eyes as the kids hugged him.

"Father," they said.

"I was so worried," Nash said.

"I thought I was gone, what happened," he said looking confused.

"Its Asta he saved us," one of the kids said looking at Asta who was looking at the sword surprised.

"Wow this sword is really powerful, I can barely even control it," said Asta before realizing something. "Wait if I use this, ill be able to save them," he thought thinking about the royal knights who are being controlled.

"That sword doesn't belong to you, it belongs to Licht," the man from purple orcas said. He then fired off a spell but Yuno blocked it. "I don't understand your under the same reincarnation spell as us, but the owner of that body still has control," he said looking annoyed.

"Whats worse someone with no magic has that sword," he said looking at Asta. "I dont understand," he said putting his hands on his head. Remembering the days back when he was in his elf body. He had gotten flowers for Lichts wedding and Rhya was confused why he got them ugly plants. But Licht thought they were a good idea and said Rhya didn't like them because he didn't understand them. Licht said it was like how he wanted to make understanding between human and elf's.

"We tryed but look what happened," he thought remembering what happened at the wedding. His body was then covered in dark power as he spoke up angrily. "I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU," he yelled.

Asta and Yuno looked surprised."Somethings wrong, hes not even trying to control his magic power," said Bell looking serious. "He can't even control it," she said as the man screamed.

"This power," Asta thought remembering his battle against Veto and Fana. "Yuno," he said.

"Right Asta," said Yuno as three small tornados appeared in his hand. "This guys about to become something that's not an elf," he said before sending out the three tornados. The spell was blocked and the man continued to scream.

"I made a path for you Asta, now go," Yuno said looking serious as Asta jumped through the tornado and pointed his new sword forward. He hit the man and a red magic circle behind him vanished.

Asta then landed on the ground as the large plant vanished. He then noticed the man had returned to normal. His ears were normal and the red markings were gone. "It worked," he thought before looking at the sword.

"Then I can save them," he thought when the kids ran over to them.

"Asta that was amazing," Nash said hugging him.

"Hey you were brave yourself Nash," Asta said smiling while two of the other kids hugged Yuno.

"Thanks for saving us," a little girl said.

"Hey back up give him some space," Bell said looking annoyed.

"Wow whos she," one of the kids said.

"Shes pretty," one of the other kids said.

"Hey stay away," Bell said before flying away as the kids chased her.

"My you boys really have grown up," the priest said. He was being helped up by sister Lilly.

"Father," said Yuno as he and Asta walked over to him.

"Are you sure your alright," said Asta looking worried.

"I'm a little dizzy but I should be fine after a while," he said. "I know the two of you must be busy but can you explain what is happening?" He asked.

"Well we are in a hurry," Asta said before looking at Yuno. "But we can at least tell you whats happening," he said.

"Right," said Yuno before they started walking to the church. While Yuno and Asta explained what had happened. Back in the capital where the king was currently sleeping, a mage suddenly walked in.

"Sire, we need your help," he said making the king wake up.

"What are you doing here, don't you know I need my sleep," Augustus said sitting up and looking annoyed.

"Yes I know sir, but the capital is under attack by multiple mages," he said looking worried. "Whats more Langris has escaped from prison and is leading this rebellion," he said.

"Oh that thing is more Julius job so have him take care of it," Augustus said looking bored.

"I know sir but hes gone missing, we cant find him," the mage said making him look surprised.

"What, why isn't he here when I need him," Augustus said before smiling. "Then again this is the perfect opportunity to show my power," he said making the mage look confused.

"Sire," he said.

"Over the last few times Julius has always taken the spot light from me," Augustus said. Remembering the star award ceremony. Before and after the royal knights Test. "Now assemble all the magic knight captains immediately," he said smiling.

"Sorry but we've already tried sir," the mage said now looking nervous. "But we've also received reports that some of the magic knights have betrayed us," he said making the king look surprised.

"What," he said.

Over outside a village where Magna and Vanessa were training. "Alright here we go," said Magna before throwing a fireball at the wall. Causing a big explosion.

"Alright way to go," Vanessa said cheering. She then looked up and looked confused.

"Whats wrong?" Magna asked before looking up as well. "What is that," he said now looking up at the moving eye of the midnight sun hideout.

Up in the hideout. Licht was still looking down the hole. With no emotion on his face.

"Looks like our friends started without us," Rhya said smiling.

"Well can you blame them, its about the time the humans got what they deserved," Klaus said pushing up his glasses. "I cant wait to get out there myself," he said when Rhya looked at him.

"Really because you looked ready to go in that last battle," he said making Klaus look annoyed. Rhya then thought back to what Asta said before the reincarnation magic happened. "Sorry kid, but the time for talking is over," he thought before looking forward.

Meanwhile with the other royal knights who were being flown to the capital thanks to Nozel. "There was great amount of magic power a while ago," said Noelle looking back.

"Yes but now its suddenly gone, what should we do," said Mimosa.

"They can handle it themselves," Nozel said looking serious. "It was their decision to make, for now we need to focus on our own mission and get to the capital," he said.

"Right," said Noelle and Mimosa.

Back in Hage village. Food had been made for Asta and Yuno. "Then we went up against this guy called Licht but we ended up losing," Asta said before taking a bite out of a potato.

"I see, but you must be worried about Noelle and Mimosa who went ahead of you," the priest said.

"Not at all," said Yuno smiling.

"Yeah Noelle can take care of herself," said Asta smiling as well.

"Right but back to the situation, your saying the other magic knights have been taken over by elf's," the priest said.

"Yeah that's about it," said Asta.

"Um excuse me," the man from the purple orcas said. Asta and Yuno stood up.

"Wait who are you," said Asta looking surprised.

"Are you serious I'm the man you just defeated," he said. "My name is Digit Taliss," he said. "I don't know if you heard but our former captain turned out to be a criminal and was taken in," he said.

"I came out here to help build back up our squads reputation," he said. Remembering when he was admiring the different plant life in the area. "Then one moment something happened to me and I wasn't myself," he said.

"I started attacking the villagers," he said looking down.

"Well were going to put a stop to it," Asta said before looking at Yuno. "We should get going," he said.

"Right," said Yuno.

"Your leaving," one of the children said.

"But you just got here," Nash said.

"Now we cant be selfish," said sister Lily. "They need to go out there and protect the kingdom," she said.

"I know," said Nash before looking at Asta. "You better make sure to write," he said.

"Don't worry I will and that's a promise," Asta said smiling.

"Good luck Yuno," the priest said.

"May I come along as well," said Digit. "Despite my power I am still a magic knight after all," he said.

"Yeah sure," Asta said as Yuno surrounded the three of them with wind. They then took off into the air as the people from the church waved goodbye to them.

"Good luck," the priest said.

"Thanks it was great seeing you all again," said Asta waving goodbye. While Yuno was more focused on flying he was smiling.

Meanwhile in the eye of the midnight sun hideout was flying over a town. Luck was standing next to the hole in lightning amor, "Guess its my turn to have fun," he said before jumping down and heading towards the town.

Over with Asta, Yuno and Digit. "Man were really far behind," Asta said when Yuno looked surprised at something ahead of them.

"Im sensing two strong elfen magic, one from the north and the other from the south," he said looking serious. .

"What do we do?" Digit asked looking worried while Asta looked serious.

"Even if their all the way out here their still part of the clover kingdom," he said.

"Then we should split into teams," said Yuno. "Asta you take him as back up," he said.

"What no you take him," said Asta looking annoyed.

"No you," said Yuno.

"No you," Asta said as they argued.

"I feel like I'm not needed here," said Digit looking down.

"Listen I have the sword that can change everyone back," Asta said holding up the sword. "You don't have that ability so youll need back up," he said looking serious.

"Well he could use poison magic to immobilize them," Yuno said calmly. "Alright then," he said.

"Will meet up in the capital," they both said looking determined. Both ready to head out on seperate missions.
