This story serves as a sequel to "Derailed Detour". Kara died giving birth to her son Icarus. Alex has been taking care of Icarus. The holidays especially Icarus' birthday are coming up really soon. Icarus is on a quest to know more about the mother that he never knew even if it means reopening old wounds. During his journey, he discovers he has a guardian angel who is Kara.

Alex's p.o.v

The time portal transports us to The Kent Family Farm in Smallville. Clark, Lois, and their teenage sons Jonathan and Jordan welcome us with open arms and hearts. "I know this is short notice, but I thank you for allowing Icarus to live with you and your family" I thank Clark. "What happened to Kara was sad. I will take good care of her heart aka her baby" Clark pledges.
