The Mikaelsons will still be in the series, ESPECIALLY Klaus, Kol, and Elijah. Hayley, Rebekah, and Freya will appear sporadically but will still be active parts of the series.

Since Hope is younger in this story than she is on Legacies, I had to adjust some of their ages. I wanted to make MG and Kaleb younger too but since they're vamps, and there will be an eventual time jump in this series, I decided to make them older so they can get into 'older teen' trouble with the rest of them when they get old enough.

Also, OF COURSE SEBASTIAN IS GOING TO THE BOARDING SCHOOL! Where would our little Hope be without her Bestie?!

And random regular professors who are not as important to the story right now. Marcel will be teaching an 'elective' course of 'students in need of academic and behavioral assistance'.

As you can see, Klaus is not listed as one of the faculty, for obvious reasons. I feel that since he is so widely known as a monster in the supernatural world, people would be hesitant to send their children to a school where he teaches but maybe Elijah and Kol are less hated and are therefore able to teach without issue. But not to worry. There will still be a lot of Poppa/Klaus. He is not the kind of person who can let his children out of his sight for too long (hint hint)

SPOILER - I ship Bonnie/Damon so hard and they will be married in this story so if you don't like, sorry, hope you can still find a way to enjoy the story. I still haven't re-watched TVD so I don't really remember where their relationship left off but I know they had that moment when they were trapped in that magical world together with the evil Syphon Twin (I think) and I started shipping them then so, for the sake of this story, they have been together since then and Caroline's daughters know them as Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Damon. And Damon is still a vampire.

Stefan is another character from the show that I have mixed feelings about. If enough people want him in the story, I will add him, but otherwise, he'll just be an occasionally reoccurring character.

Caroline's age...I have been going back and forth about this for a while. I know technically she was probably 17 or 18 when she was turned and for the sake of continuity, I should keep her around that age, especially since I'm making Tyler 18. HOWEVER...I don't think the Klaus of this story, with what we know about how he feels towards adolescent vampires would be so keen about dating a teenager so just for the sake of the story, I'm making her 21 (which still goes against his 'Any vampire under 25 is an adolencent' theory but it's the best I could do). I know, I know, that's way too old for canon, it doesn't make sense, but this story has already diverged so far from canon so I'm just going for it. Please don't hate me.

I will be marking this story as a 'Legacies' cross-over as soon as the school year starts.
