Part 92: Fighting a friend

Over in the village where the eye of the midnight sun hideout was currently flying over on its way to the capital. The people were looking up confused, "What is that," one of the people said when something fast hit one of the buildings. Causing a massive explosion. When the people looked towards the building. They saw Luck in full lighting armor with a smile on his face.

Magna and Vanessa who were nearby saw the explosions going off around the town. "The towns under attack," Vanessa said looking worried.

"Yeah lets go," Magna said before getting on crazy cyclone. He was then surprised when Vanessa sat down behind him and put her arms around his waist. "Whoa what," he said blushing.

"Magna I don't think we have time for you to be embarrassed," Vanessa said.

"Yeah right sorry, just not how I was expecting to take our first broom ride together that's all," he said still blushing as he took off into the air. "Alright crazy cyclone full power," he said before flying to the town.

In the town itself explosions went off as Luck hit off different buildings. The towns people ran away screaming as Magna and Vanessa walked past them. "This isn't right, I was expecting to find a bad guy wrecking the town but not you," Magna said looking up at Luck.

"What do you think your doing Luck," he said looking annoyed.

"Luck, oh yeah that's right," Luck said placing a hand on his chest. "The person who owned this body wanted to see someone, could it have been you two," he said.

"Well it doesn't matter, thanks to reincarnation magic this body belongs to me, Ruthel now," he said smiling.

"Ruthel whos that," Magna said looking confused.

"Reincarnation magic, but that's forbidden magic," said Vanessa looking surprised as Magna looked at her.

"Wait do you know whats happened to him?" He asked.

"Yeah, basically someone has taken over Lucks body," she said.

"No way, who could have done something like that, the eye of the midnight sun," said Magna.

"Makes sense, then that thing we saw flying over a while back must have been their hideout," Vanessa said.

"But the royal knights went there to stop them," Magna said when Luck spoke up.

"Oh the royal knights, sorry but we killed every last one of them," he said while Magna and Vanessa looked surprised.

"No way," said Magna when Luck looked ready to jump.

"Now the same thing will happen to you," he said jumping towards Magna with his right leg out. He thought he hit him but ended up crashing into a wall.

"What the," Magna said as Luck came out of the rubble.

"Strange I was sure I had hit him," he said before hearing a meow coming from his shoulder. He looked to see a small red cat, "Is this cat somehow responsible," he thought as Vanessa looked serious.

"Hopefully this will snap you out of it," Magna said as a fireball appeared in his hand. The red cat jumped down from Luck, "Flame magic, exploding," he said when the cat touched his leg.

"What the," he said before falling to the ground.

"Rogue protects all of the black bulls, so no matter what happened she will still protect Luck," Vanessa thought as the cat meowed.

"Hey Vanessa you think you can control that power of yours," Magna said looking annoyed.

"Sorry about that, look out," she said when Luck jumped towards Magna again. Magna jumped out of the way when Vanessa wrapped her strings around him. "Cmon maybe if you manage to beat him it will shock him enough to snap him out of it," she said smiling.

"Got it," Magna said as another fireball appeared in his hand. "Flame magic explosive scatter shot," he said throwing the fireball at Luck. He easily dodged them.

"Your going to have to try better then that," Luck said before noticing the fireballs were still following him. He dodged them at they each hit the ground.

"Fine then try this one," Magna said throwing what looked like another scatter shot. Luck dodged the shots and landed behind the smoke.

"Really that again," Luck said smiling before looking surprised as another fireball appeared in front of him. He barely escaped before it exploded.

"How'd you like that one, I call it explosive annihilation scattershot," Magna said smiling with his arm still out.

"Alright flame head time to show the results of your training," Vanessa said as she used her strings to throw him into the air.

"You got it," Magna said before he began moving in the air and throwing fireballs. Luck barely dodging most of them.

"If hes using mana to sense him then Magna should be able to throw in regular explosive shots as well," Vanessa thought as Luck hit off more of the houses.

"Flame magic, explosive scatter shot," Magna said throwing multiple fireballs at Luck. Luck then jumped up at him and grabbed him.

"Your going to have to try better then that," Luck said smiling before Magna grabbed his left arm.

"Now I know your definitely not Luck," Magna said smiling as a bigger fireball appeared in his hand. "Because he would have known I would be serious enough to risk myself getting hurt," he said making him look surprised.

"Flame magic, gargantuan explosive shot," he said throwing the fireball right at Luck. The explosion surrounded both of them and they fell to the ground. Luck making a crater and Magna got back up after falling.

"And also, Flame binding," he said as flame ropes surrounded Luck. "Your nothing but an imposter, Luck is way stronger then you," he said looking serious.

Vanessa ran over and noticed Magna was a little injured from the explosion. "Luck may be a pain but hes still my squad mate and friend, your not even as strong as he is and that's how I won," he said taking off his shades that had been damaged.

"So give him back already got it," said Magna looking serious as dark clouds covered the sky above him.

The two black bulls looked surprised as Luck started laughing before lightening struck him. The lightning completely destroyed Magna's binding magic as Luck stood back up with his lighting armor changed. There was now a large circle behind him and the strikes coming out of his hair was now bigger.

"Sorry, who did you say won," he said smiling while Vanessa and Magna looked surprised by his power.

"I don't get it," Magna said. "He was a monster before but this is unbelievable," he said before Luck started running around faster.

"Where is he," said Vanessa as she watched lightning shoot around.

"Right here," Luck said stopping behind Magna who looked surprised. Luck went for a kick but ended up hitting a wall again.

"I see now," Luck said looking at the red cat. "That woman's power controls the future, no not that, faith itself," he said.

"I thought we elf's were the only ones blessed by the mana," Luck said. "But I wonder how much longer your power will hold out against mine," he said jumping towards Magna.

Vanessa continuing to use her power to stop him from seriously hurting him. Magna wasn't able to find an opening to throw a fireball.

Not far from the village Asta who was in a small tornado made by Yuno. With Nero perched on his head. Was getting closer and could see the explosions Luck was causing.

"I gotta hurry," he said looking serious.

In the town more of the town had been destroyed. Rogue was almost gone as Vanessa tried to get back up. She looked to see Luck holding Magna up by his throat.

"Haha, I thought you said you were strong," said Luck. "You humans are just getting the punishment you deserve and I'm the perfect person to do it," he said.

"Shut up," Magna said angrily.

"That's enough," Vanessa said looking annoyed.

"Huh," said Luck.

"Your just an imposter, so don't you dare say that," Magna said.

"Well I hate to tell you but Luck is already long gone," he said.

"Oh yeah, then how do you explain that," Magna said noticing a tear coming out of his right eye. "The real Luck is still in there fighting, so come back to us already," Magna said.

"I better end this now," Luck said before he was surrounded by strings. "What," he said before looking at Vanessa who was holding the string.

"Luck can be really reckless sometimes, but hes always been like a little brother to me," she said looking serious. "He knows how much Magna means to me so he wouldn't do this," she said.

"That's enough," Luck said looking annoyed as he easily broke free of the strings.

Vanessa looked surprised as Luck brought his right arm back. "Its over," he said.

"NOOOO LUCK," Vanessa yelled. But what she didn't noticed was a string coming off Rogue.

At the other end was Asta wielding his new anti magic sword. "Like I let that happen," he said before flying in and hitting Lucks arm. Luck looked surprised before jumping back while Asta stood in front of his squad mates.

"Asta," said Magna.

Vanessa looked at Rogue who meowed before disappearing. "Rogue used the last of her power to make destiny where Asta arrived," she thought.

"Haha, I cant believe theres actually someone out there who actually has no magic," Luck said smiling.

"Yeah well I'll show youb I can still fight and get my friend back," Asta said holding the sword in front of him. After a few seconds he was then his black form.

"Just try," Luck said before jumping around fast. He then reached behind Asta, "I got him," he said about to strike when Asta looked right at him. He looked surprised as Asta blocked his attack and swung his sword at him.

"How did he do that," he thought looking annoyed.

"I may not be able to detect mana, but I can still read your Ki," Asta said before Luck took off.

"Well lets see if you can keep up," he said as they started flying around the town. As they flying around buildings Luck went to hit Asta but he blocked his attack. He quickly dodged Asta before he could slash at him. As they flew further down Luck looked annoyed that Asta was keeping up.

"How are you going this fast?" He asked.

"This sword is drawn to powerful magic and it cant ignore you," Asta said Luck flew into the sky.

"Your annoying me," he said sending out blasts of lightening.

Asta looked determined as he dodged and cut through the blasts. He then hit Luck with the sword and sent him flying to the ground near Magna and Vanessa. He landed on the ground when Luck swiped at him.

"Nice try," he said trying to hit him but Asta blocked his punches with his sword as he laughed.

"Hes fast," Asta thought looking annoyed as he jumped back.

"Magna, Vanessa a little help," Asta said.

"You got it Asta," Magna said sending out a flame scatter shot.

"You tried those spells before, what made you think they would work again," he said dodging Magnas blast and then Astas sword. He then punched Asta and sent him flying into a wall.

"No Asta," Magna said looking annoyed.

"I'm not giving up," said Asta standing back up and taking off.

"Straight ahead, that wont work," Luck said flying towards Asta when Magna threw a fireball in the middle. The explosion created a smoke cloud making Luck look confused since he couldn't see Asta.

"Trying to hide him since I cant sense his mana," Luck thought before smiling. "Then ill just spread out my mana until I feel his sword negate it," he thought.

"There you are," he thought noticing Asta flying right towards him. "Its over," he said.

"Not yet," Vanessa said pulling the strings she had around Asta.

Asta dodged Luck and hit him with the sword. Luck looked surprised as he fell to the ground with his lighting armor gone.

Astas form vanished as he stood in front of Luck with his sword held up. "Time to get Luck back," he said when lightning surrounded the two of them.

"I wont lose to you," Luck said.

"This hurts, but I'm not giving up," Asta thought when he noticed Luck about to put his arms up.

"That's not happening," Magna said as he and Vanessa grabbed his arms and held them down.

"Stop," Luck said as more lightining shot off him. The people who evacuated could see the lightning far from the town.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME," Luck yelled.
