Plagg runs over to them. "Sir the Red Cross is calling you."
"What?" Tom takes the phone. "Hello?...WHAT!? HOW DID IT HAPPEN!?...I'm on my way." Tom hangs up.
"What's wrong dad?" Lila asked.
"Sabine was in a car crash and she's in the edge of dying." Tom replied in desperation.
"Where is she I'll go with you." Lila stated.
"In the Red Cross." Tom replied already walking away and Lila followed him.
"What did she tell you?" Fu asked.
"I didn't really let her talk I basically said all the things I thought about her and her family and she had no choice to listen until I told her to leave." Mari replied.
"I think that you should have done that especially if you did it the way I imagine that you did." Fu stated.
Tom goes to the front desk of the hospital. "I'm here to see my wife who was brought from a car crash her name is Sabine Dupain-Cheng."
The women behind the desk looked at her computer. "Yes she's here but you can't see her she's in the ER. Her medical care is in the highest status if you want to transfer her I suggest to wait until she's checked here"
"No I don't want to transfer her right now I trust in your work I just want to see her and know how'sshe'sdoing." Tom said in desperation.
"You can't see her for many reasons first no one is allowed in the ER without the doctor's authorization and second the patient's state has gotten worse she's being treated right now." The woman replied.
"I'll be right back I'll go visit Marlena." Fu told Mari standing up. "The poor thing feels so alone I might bring something from the market too when I come back."
"I'll go over there once Adrienne. I want to ask Marlena for a favor. I want her to be my assistant and help me get ready for the profermances since I won't be able to do it all alone and Roland did tell me I would need one and who better than Marlena." Mari replied.
"Yea she's a great choice that way I can stay here and take care of Adrienne." Fu stated.
"You might not have to do it all the time I found this daycare that is near the theater and it has trained professionals to take care of the children." Mari replied.
"That's a good idea for later right now I'm capable enough in taking care of her myself." Fu stated.
Mari smiled. "Alright I'll also pay Marlena for the job even though I know she won't accept it I'll make her take it."
"Well I'm off." Fu said leaving the apartment.
"Well that's more of a reason why I should see my wife." Tom stated sternly.
"Understand that the rules are for the good of the patients." The woman replied.
"You understand me she's my wife and you just said that her state got worse." Tom stated. "I need to see her."
The woman sighs. "I'll see if the doctor authorizes for you to enter." She dials it number.
"She must be very ill you heard her what if mom dies and you're not with her?" Lila asked faking to be worried about Sabine.
"No Lila not that." Tom replied.
"If you were right and Sabine went to see Mari than it will be Mari's fault if she dies." Lila stated.
Adrienne woke up and Mari picked her up while thinking about Sabine's visit. "I really was harsh on Mrs Sabine but why did she even go to see me. I thought that she forgotten abort me by now...she wasn't as cruel as the rest of the people in that house but she still messed up."
"You didn't do anything to help me. In silence you let me be yell at slapped and loose what I was hoping would be a home!" Mari said sternly. "Don't worry I don't judge you after all Lila is your daughter and it makes sense that you would take her side."
A nurse walked up to Tom. "Mr. Dupain the doctor authorized you to go in the room but only one of you can go at a time." She looks at Lila. "Are you her daughter because she keeps calling for her daughter Mari."
"I'll go in wait here Lila." Tom said before walking away.
"Excuse me but where did the accident happen?" Lila asked the nurse.
"She bumped her car with a pole near the grand theater." The nurse replied.
Tom walked in and saw a doctor checking Sabine who was covered in bruises. "Excuse me I'm her husband you let me in how is she?"
"We will have to wait until I get all the results of ever test we did on her but for the moment she's very ill." The doctor replied.
She can't die she can't." Tom mumbled close to tearing up.
"I hope she dies." Lila mumbled as she waited in the waiting room. "That way there wouldn't be any danger of me being kicked out from the room and the street rat taking my place. I hope she dies."
"She's very since she is rehearsaling every day." Fu was telling Marlena as they were talking outside her house. "That's why she wants your help and she plans to pay you."
"I'm willing to help Mari but she doesn't need to pay me." Marlena replied.
"I know but Mari will come and tell you all the details she's also bringing adri-" Fu stops in surprise seeing Adrien walk over to them.
"Good afternoon Fu." Adrien greeted. "Fu I want to see Mari."
At that moment Mari was walking to the apartment complex holding Adrienne. "Hopefully Marlena accepts to be my assistant."
Sabine slowly wakes up calling out Mari's name and Tom holds her hand gently. "Calm down Sabine. How do you feel?"
"Everything hurts." Sabine mumbled.
"That's to be expected you were in a terrible car crash." Tom stated. "It is unknown of your state yet since they have to analyze the tests made on you but how did it happen?"
"I bumped into a pole near the grand theater." Sabine replied.
"What were you doing over there?" Tom asked though he has a feeling of what it was.
"I went to see Mari." Sabine replied tearing up.
"I'm telling you that we don't live here anymore." Fu repeated for the tenth time.
"Than what are you doing here Fu?" Adrien asked.
"I came to visit Marlena." Fu replied.
"Than take me to where you live now." Adrien stated. "I need to talk to Mari."
"No way she has nothing to talk to you about." Fu replied.
"I came here looking for her and I won't leave until I find her." Adrien warned before going to what used to be Mari's home and knocked constantly.
"Fu Mari is coming with you know who you better run and catch her before he sees both of them." Marlena whispered to Fu.
Fu stated to quickly ran off but Adrien saw him and went after him. "Fu." He caught him at the sidewalk.
"Dr. Agreste please don't complicate things for me .I'm dead if I take you to where we are now Mari doesn't want to see you." Fu stated
"Fu is it true that Mari doesn't love me anymore?" Adrien asked.
"Yes what else do you want?" Fu asked.
"I want to talk to her." Adrien replied. At that moment Fu saw Mari walking up to them from behind Adrien holding Adrienne and he starts to freak out. Seeing his expression Adrien turned around.
Mari seeing Adrien quickly hid in a Market before he saw her and Adrienne.
"Guess what grandma Emilie." Maya said happily. "I'm going to wear a beautiful princess dress."
"What's the occasion?" Emilie asked.
"I'm going to a party made for Roxie's baby boy. She used to be in the threater group of Elsa daddy's cousin." Maya replied. "He's so cute hopefully Mari brings my little sibling soon."
"And how would you want that little sibling be like?" Emilie asked.
"Well a girl and that looks just like me and daddy." Mari replied.
"Like this?" Emilie asked as she makes the appearance of Adrienne appear in the sky and Maya nodded happily.
"I went yesterday but our daughter rejected me...rejected us and even before I told her the truth so I had to try again today." Sabine added. "She wants nothing to do with us. When I was leaving the director of the play Roland told me to not tell her but I had to do it I still do."
Seeing no one Adrien looked back at Fu. "What's the matter Fu? Why did you put a scared face?"
"Scared? I'm not scared you are just seeing things." Fu replied.
Mari looked at them from behind a rag of clothes. "I swear if Adrien was money I would be rich by now I find him everywhere I go. Doesn't he understand that I want nothing to do with him...plus he already has a fiance."
"Is it true that Mari is getting married?" Adrien asked Fu.
"Yes she's getting married and vary soon that's why I can't take you to see her imagine the problem that would be caused if her fiance saw you." Fu replied. "Which reminds me aren't you getting married to?"
"Yes Fu I'm also getting married. She's a good woman that loves me and she will be a good mother to Maya a better mother than Mari ever could." Every he said was true except that he believed Kagami would be a better mother than Mari he only said that in frustration.
"Yes she's so good that she's in prison." Fu said sarcastically. "Woman you picked is a murderer that goes around killing people."
Adrien just walks away passing the market that Mari was hiding in. He suddenly felt the feeling he feels when Maya is close but when he looks around he saw no one not knowing that his other daughter was just a couple feet away from him. He just continues to walk away.
Once Mari made sure he was gone she quickly went over to Fu and Marlena who witnessed everything. "Let's go before he decides to come back and sees me." She basically pushed them to Marlena's house.
Seeing Tom Lila quickly stood up. "Is she dead?" Tom shook his head no and Lila fakes a sigh in relief. "Thank goodness how is she?"
"Better but it was Mari's fault Sabine had that accident but she'll regret it if Sabine dies because of her." Tom said sternly.
"I don't understand why Adrien is looking for me he already made a new life without me." Mari said as she Fu and Marlena were sitting at Marlena's living room.
Fu nodded. "He even told me that he was going to marry that woman who's a good one and will be a good mother to Maya more so than you could ever be."
"Fine with me I'll just continue working and make a life for Adrienne and I." Mari replied sadly. "Though as hard as I try I can't forget about Adrien since...I still love him."
"Natalie do you have Maya's clothes for the party ready?" Ruby asked Natalie the next day.
Natalie nodded. "Yes everything is perfect."
"Great I just got another present for the Maya to give to the baby. I'm going to go get dressed now I'd Max comes before we're ready tell him we're be down soon." Natalie nodded.
Lila walked over to Tom who hasn't left the hospital since he got there the day before. "How is Sabine."
"Still very ill but not as bad as yesterday she'll be taken out from the ER to a normal room." Tom replied. "Have you told anyone about the accident?"
"No I was waiting for your permission to do so." Lila lied since she already told Isabella.
"You're allowed to now c'mon Sabine must be in her new room bu now." Tom walked away and Lila rolled her eyes before following him.
Mathew quickly got dressed in his tux before his mother came in the house to surprise her and when Elena came in with the art supplies he asked her to get she saw him in his chair all dressed up. "Honey you look so handsome. You can't imagine how happy I am seeing you all cheered up it makes me want to hug you."
"Better yet mom let me hug you." Mathew slowly stood up and Elena covered her mouth in surprise as Mathew slowly walked up to her. "Surprise mom." In tears of joy she hugged him.
"I'm ready Aunt Ruby." Maya said walking over to her.
Ruby smiled. "You look like a princess. Max should be here at any moment."
"What gift am I taking?" Maya asked.
"This one the teddy bear." Ruby hands her the gift.
Audrey walked over to them. "Maya why are you dressed like that!"
"I'm going to a party." Maya replied.
"You're taking her to a party! She should still be mourning for what happened to her mother!" Audrey exclaimed.
"It's not any good keeping her locked up." Ruby stated.
"Things in this house will change after that murderer and Adrien-" Audrey started.
"We'll see about that." Ruby takes Maya's hand and leads her outside to wait for Max.
"Taking her to a party for a boy without a father pathetic." Audrey mumbled.
"You're standing and walking." Elena said happily. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I wanted to surprise you." Mathew replied.
"This is the best surprise you could ever give me." Elena stated. "I need to call your dad so he can come immediately."
"Wait for later mom first I need to give the surprise to someone else." Mathew replied.
"Where's Michael?" Father Carlos asked Roxie who was greeting everyone who was arriving to the party.
"On the balcony." Roxie replied and Father Carlos nodded walking away the whole time she was hoping Roland wouldn't come. At that moment Alix arrived and greeted her.
Edward was right behind her. "Hi Roxie how are you doing?"
"Good." Roxie replied nervously.
Ruby and Maya arrived at that moment and they greeted her before Ruby went to put the presents on the present table. You baby is so cute I told grandma Emilie that I want a little sibling like him." Maya stated and everyone just smiled at her.
Max walked over to the group he was parking the the car so he didn't come with Ruby and Maya at the same time. "Everyone this is Dr. Max kante." Ruby introduced him.
"We already know each other." Edward said before greeting Max.
"Roxie can I hold him?" Ruby'asked and Roxie nodded handing him over to her and everyone went to sit down leaving Roxie and Edward alone.
Edward noticed that Roxie seemed nervous. "Roxie are you okay?"
"Edward it's just that..." At that moment Roxie saw Roland walking up to them.
"What's he doing here did you invite him?" Edward asked.
"No I told him not to come." Roxie replied.
"You're leaving at this very moment." Edward told Roland sternly but Roland just laughed.
"Mr. Adrien isn't here right now." Natalie said over the phone. "Oh Miss. Ruby who's this?"
"Its Plagg the butler of the Dupain family. Please tell them that Mrs Sabine was in an accident and she's very ill." Plagg replied.
A group formed around Edward and Roland and Roxie really hoped that they wouldn't start a fight. "You have nothing to do in this house." Edward added.
"This is a party for my son." Roland replied.
"That baby is not yours." Edward said sternly.
"Oh yeah and who's the dad?" Roland asked.
"I'm the father." Edward replied.
"I'm so glad you called mom." Alya told Marlena over the phone. "Tell me about everything going on in the neighborhood."
"Even about Nino?" Marlena asked.
"No mom not about him." Alya replied.
"Don't say ridiculous things." Roland said harshly.
"I don't think you understood me. I'm the baby's father you have no right of Roxie or her baby. I'm going to marry her and recognize her baby as mine." Edward stated.
Roland pushed him and a fight would have started if it wasn't for Max or Christopher holding Roland back. "I don't allow fights in my house. " Christopher said sternly letting Roland go.
"Don't think this is over doctor." Roland warned before walking away.
When Natalie saw Adrien and Luka walking in the house she went over to them. "Mr. Adrien the butler of the Dupain household called and said that Mrs. Sabine got into an accident and is very ill."
"What hospital is she in?" Adrien immediately asked.
"In the Red Cross." Natalie replied and Adrien hurried to his car.
"Is that woman close to Adrien?" Luka asked Natalie.
"She's the mom of Miss. Mari and Miss. Lila...well not really for Miss Lila but...well Mr. Adrien was involved with both of the...I'm sorry I have a lot of work if you need me please call me." Natalie walked away.
Luka shook his head. "Adrien you have such a complicated life."
"You can be calm now Roxie Roland won't bother you anymore well at least for today." Edward told Roxie.
"It was a good idea lying to him about your marrying Roxie and you going to recognize the baby as yours" Elsa stated before walking away.
What Elsa or Roxie didn't know was that Edward wasn't lying.
"They kicked me out of the party of my son and that doctor said he was going to recognize him with what right?" Roland was still outside the house and he was speaking to Mari who went to the party with Roland but she didn't go in afraid that Adrien was there.
"And what right do you have?" Mari asked. "You didn't take care of Roxie when she was pregnant and much less for the baby. Being father doesn't matter that baby needs parents who love him and will take care of him. Now he has someone to protect him. You are just being selfish or do you plan to marry Roxie?"
"Of course not." Roland replied.
"Than let her marry Edward." Mari stated.
Inside Mathew walked in and saw Ruby with Max.
"Edward can keep Roxie but the boy is my son." Roland replied. "With my name."
"A name doesn't matter he needs a family not a dad and mom arguing he'll suffer." Mari stated.
"Than be careful because you have a daughter which the dad doesn't even know exist. Adrien can find out easily." Roland replied.
"I don't care if he finds out anymore." Mari stated.
"Oh really because with all his money he can take her away from you." Roland replied.
