Hey everyone!
Happy May first of all. Second of all I'm changing my upload dates around because the 1st and 2nd and 15th, 16th and sometimes the 17th of the month can be so full on for me. I'm looking at the 3rd and 18th now for updates to make things a little easier on me with things. So don't worry about it; it was a change at the last moment. Enjoy the update!
Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere-Part 92:
A couple of days after the hearing and Narcissa, Lucius, Madam Pomfrey and the Headmaster were in the Hospital Wing. Narcissa and Madam Pomfrey were looking at Aurora's medical records.
"Now the trial is over we need to start thinking about Aurora's immune system," Narcissa said, "her compromised immune system," she added as her eyes fell on her husband, "yes my love?" she asked.
"What is a compromised immune system?" he asked as he looked at his wife, "I've never heard of that before."
"Basically her immune system lacks certain antibodies and things that can help her fight off illnesses… including the common cold that most are able to fight… Aurora cannot fight them because her immune system is weak."
"Can it be strengthened at all?" Lucius asked as he looked at Narcissa, worried about their daughter, "I love her so much but I am so worried that we'll lose her at some point because of everything…"
"We will not lose her because her immune system can be supported and strengthened," Narcissa said as she rested her hands on her husband's arms, "we just have to figure out what ones Aurora cannot fight and what ones she can. Sadly it will require blood samples and a wait but it can be done," she said softly, "I just want to try and do this without letting on to anyone what we are doing. The last thing I wish to do is scare Aurora," she said and Lucius nodded.
"I can also help with the investigation," the Headmaster said, "and no doubt Severus will be able to. The more we have on this the sooner we can figure out how to help Aurora. Luckily Narcissa has figured out how to keep the connection to your daughter closed so that is a relief really," he said and Lucius looked at Narcissa.
"How?" he asked as he watched his wife.
"I have to break the connection but I can easily remake it again. I've got it trained now and Aurora doesn't feel a thing either, which is rather useful. She still doesn't really understand about why she can feel my emotions and I only use them now when I need to tap into her mind to see what she's thinking or feeling so I can help her," she said before yawning softly.
"Narcissa you have done so much in the past few days… and you have kept working throughout. I'm sure Poppy can cope without you for a day," Dumbledore said, "go home and rest. We won't start these tests on Aurora or even begin to draw the blood samples until you are back here, rested and ready. You need to be at your best to help Aurora."
Narcissa didn't argue and soon was back at Malfoy Manor with Lucius, much to the shock of the elders who were based at Malfoy Manor now. Narcissa curled up into Lucius and Priscilla asked the elf to make some tea for everyone.
"Aurora's going to undergo tests to see where her immune system is lacking and then we can figure out how to strengthen and support it," Narcissa said as she sipped on her tea, allowing the warmth to envelope her as Lucius' arms wrapped around her waist. Her head went to rest on her husband's shoulders.
"You're tired Cissa," Priscilla said as she watched her daughter-in-law, "a lot has happened and you need to rest and regain your strength and do not even argue with me," she said. Narcissa nodded,
"I have tomorrow off work and Lucius will no doubt make sure that I am resting," Narcissa said, "I may well have an early night soon if you'll forgive me," she added and there were no protests. Narcissa couldn't see how tired she looked thankfully but it was clear to see.
The group was talking a while later and just relaxing when a teacup fell to the floor and shattered on impact. Lucius turned to see that Narcissa had fallen asleep.
"Aurora…?" Druella asked.
"Cissa closed the connection so everything will be ok," Lucius said as he scooped Narcissa into his arms, "excuse me whilst I get her to bed." Priscilla instantly rose from her seat.
"Let me come and help," she said, "no doubt these three have matters to discuss," she smirked as she looked at her husband before following her son out of the room.
It didn't take too much longer and Lucius and Priscilla had Narcissa in bed and Lucius was sat by the window seat with his mother.
"How could I not see that she was exhausted? She's been non-stop for weeks," he said as he looked out of the window, "I mean Merlin knows how she'd be without Draco and Astoria supporting us and keeping an eye on Aurora. Astoria loves that girl in a way that she shouldn't but she loves and see Aurora as a younger sister that she never got and I will be forever grateful to her."
"I have yet to meet Astoria properly but I am sure I will in time and see exactly what you mean," Priscilla said, "but I know that Draco and her are to be married."
"I wondered when you'd find out that… but yes that are," Lucius said, "we hadn't thought about her but there's something about her and the way she is with Aurora that makes her the perfect match for Draco. Nobody knows what the future holds but we've secured Aurora's future with three possible routes depending on what happens. We had to secure her future."
"I'm guessing if she's not of age Abraxas and I will get custody, if Draco and Astoria are of age they get custody and if she's underage and us grandparents are no longer here…"
"James and Catriona and Astoria's aunt and uncle, Maggie and Callum, are back-ups as well. We discussed it with them all when we sorted the marriage contract out," Lucius said, "we've thought of everything to protect our little girl. Cissa will no doubt want to got to Hogwarts tomorrow and see her but I think she needs to rest."
"I can go," Priscilla said as she looked at her son and then over at a sleeping Narcissa, "I could even use it as an excuse to meet Astoria as well if she's around. I will write to the Headmaster tomorrow morning and inform him of the visit."
"Thank you mother," Lucius said softly before looking at her.
"You still need your mother sometimes and don't deny it," Priscilla said with a smirk as she looked at him, "no matter how old you get you will never stop needing me and that is all I'm going to say on the matter."
